They are placeholder items (like Missingno. and glitch Pokémon are placeholders). They serve no purpose or may have a beta purpose.

How can there be a pic when the item is just words? anyways i have it in gold version you can get it throu gameshark but it has NO purpose.

I got it in crystal with gs. Its description is just a question mark.

I've gotten it by cheating in Gold/Silver. It does nothing, but I think yuo can sell it for like ¥4800 or something...

I've gotten it by cheating in Gold/Silver. It does nothing, but I think yuo can sell it for like ¥4800 or something... I cound not sell it when I sharked it in to my crystal. I know it's name has something to do with shiny.
