Like the title says, I'm a newbie at Magic and don't really play much or collect them, so I just have the deck for the fun of it:
Creatures:
1x Bringer of the Black Dawn
1x Bringer of the Blue Dawn
1x Bringer of the White Dawn
1x Bringer of the Red Dawn
1x Bringer of the Green Dawn
3x Voracious Cobra (my BEWD :classic: )
2x Ward Sliver
1x Selesnya Guildmage
1x Venomspout Brackus
1x Thalid
1x Abyssal Specter
1x Lunar Avenger
1x Skyreach Manta
1x Wall of Spears
1x Steel Wall
1x Arcbound Wanderer
1x Suncrusher
Sorceries/Equipments/whatnot:
4x Last Stand
1x Umezawa's Jitte
1x Sword of Kaldra
1x Shield of Kaldra
1x Helm of Kaldra
2x Wayfarer's Bauble
1x Unsummon
1x Pentad Prism
1x Cranial Plating
1x Blood Lust
1x Wildsize
1x Winds of Change
1x Monstrous Growth
1x Tribal Flames
1x Ashnod's Transmogrant
Lands:
5x Plains
5x Forest
4x Swamp
4x Island
4x Mountain
1x Sandstone Needle
1x Great Furnace
1x Urborg Volcano
There ya have it. Like I mentioned before I'm a basic newbie, so I need help. I mainly want to try to cut it down to 60 cards.

in that case i'll give some personal advice, Never run 5 color decks XD it's extremely hard to do so and make it work right XD
um...first get rid of the Ward Slivers...those do nothing but protect themselves in a deck with no other slivers
um...Pentad Prism's not gonna help you much...
exchange Monstorous Growth for Giant Growth
and get rid of the sandstone needle or great furnace
so
-2 Ward Sliver
-1 Pentad Prism
-1 Great Furnace/Sandstone Needle

Actually it works rather beautifully for me. Bringers/LS come out 90% of the time, and once they're out, it's usually over...and when they don't I have a maxed-out Skyreach Manta/Suncrusher as backup...
Ward Slivers are actually there for protection until I get all 5 colors, and to block almost anything that my Voracious Cobras can't wipe out...but now that I heard there's a side deck in MTG, I suppose they could go there. Same with the Pentad Prism and the Sandstone Needle. Thanks, digi.
I'll try to look for that card you suggested...

Oy...where Do I start...?
GOGO SHINY DECK!
Creatures:
1x Bringer of the Black Dawn
1x Bringer of the Blue Dawn
1x Bringer of the White Dawn
1x Bringer of the Red Dawn
1x Bringer of the Green Dawn
3x Voracious Cobra (my BEWD )
2x Selesnya Guildmage
2x Lunar Avenger
3x Skyreach Manta
2x Steel Wall
4x Orochi Leafcaller
Sorceries/Equipments/whatnot:
4x Last Stand
3x Channel the Suns
2x Wayfarer's Bauble
2x Pentad Prism
2x Cranial Plating
2x Tribal Flames
Lands:
3x Plains
7x Forest
3x Swamp
3x Island
3x Mountain
1x Urborg Volcano
What I cut and Why
Ward Sliver- This is a No-no. Giving opponents protection from one of your colors if they have slivers is BAD.
Abyssal Specter-ain't doing favors as a one-of.
Thalid- too random for this deck .
25 land? and not control?!- 3 gone!
Great Furnace was Banned, anyways.
Arcbound Wanderer- Too mana intensive.
Wall o' Spears- umm....probably not drawn everygame, so BUMP
Umezawa's Jitte- C'mon...this is for trade, bot random chucking into a 5-color deck. It's broken, for goodness sakes.
Unsummon- too random. With 5 colors, Blue is not necessarily going toshow up...and this card could be dead in your hand.
I switched out the Kaldra equips because they're overcosted for what you want, and useless without something to equip to. With 3 cards in 60, you'd have one heck of a hard time drawing 'em.
Bloodlust and Winds of Change--1-ofs won't cut it. No offense.
The thing I missed- One-of that's off-color in 5-color. that's pretty bad.
Needle- ehh...it's slow.
OK, here's my first try at restructuring this deck. In casual, it should do OK. Tell me if it doesn't, and I'll try again.

I don't play in tournaments, Black Dawn comes out often enough so that those "One-ofs" pop up regardless of number, Winds of Change is just too useful (somehow keep seeing it), and Blue DOES show up a lot...but you did affirm something: Ward Slivers are going to the side deck. Thanks.
I'm also getting a large mass of MTG Grab Bags in the next week or two, so the deck might get a major overhaul...
(Oh, and I just recently got the Jitte & Kaldra, so I'm hesitant to lose them until I at least give them a workout...)
