Pokemon Blue Help

Just started to play Pokemon Blue again and Im at the tunnel near Pewter City. I was wondering should I catch Geodude? Or get Machop/Sandshrew/or Diglet later? (or maybe any other rock/ground type)

Also I have Nindorino and got the moon stone in the cave. And my I was wondering if I should evolve it right now (nindorino is lv17)

Thirdly, this is basically up to you, what Pokemon you think has the best moves or which ever one you like the best.

Personally, I'd go for a Diglett, because it's among the fastest ground types (even better when it evolves).
As for Nidorino, better wait awhile 'til it learns better moves before you evolve it.

Why not get all of the above? Every little Ground-type helps against Lt. Surge.

Personally, I would go for Geodude at this point. You won't need a Diglett/Dugtrio if you have a decent level Graveler or Golem to use against Lt. Surge.

get geodude. because i'ts final evelution(golem) is extemely powerful.
