After I use it for 4 hours it gets so slow that I'd have to wait 2 minutes just for it to load. x_x

mines a new dell insiron, it does the job and it was fairly friced, so i cant complain...but i do use a router for internet connection...so my internets not THE BEST but im happy with what i got

Haha, my computer is jam packed with useless rubbish. It runs incredibly slow a lot of the time and could well burst into flames if faced with another program download.

The adult in me advises me to sort it out, but the child just can't be bothered.

Road Runner IS $50 around here, more than the cost of most satellite internet...I can't even get Road Runner although even if I did I'd never be able to afford $600+ a year for internet...all we have out here in the country are a couple of crappy dialup services and a disgustingly expensive DSL service...

I also hate my computer! It isn't that slow, but when I turn it on is when the trouble starts. All off these annoying pop-ups come up about a missing shortcut. The average time it takes for my copmuter to start is 7 minutes. I may have broadband but it is still slow to load pages. :confused: :'(

I have a pretty top of the line PC, and a 3 MB/s connection, so I’m quite content with its performance. I tweak the crap out of it and run maintenance all the time…I can’t stand the thought of it being slower or having buildup.

EDIT: I have comcast high speed internet. BUT, I signed up for AOL for Broadband, free for 45 days. So i have both. It's pretty cool.

Hehe, easy there, a crummy CPU is better then a completely useless CPU. Besides, how can it be that bad when you can get onto PC to post saying how much you hate your CPU? I remember when my CPU was on the frits as well. One day I was logging onto my computer, and when I tried to go to log in a black screen popped up saying "there is an error in your hard-drive". I was VERY upset, as it happened while I had only had my computer for a couple of months >_<

Nah, I don't use netzero...they're not available out in hick country, Ohio where I'm at :P I use a local company called Dragon Internet...crappy tech support, no special features, but perfect for the stingy spender at a mere $120.00 per year... :P

I use Rogers as my provider for internet. We used to use Shaw, but unfortunately they betrayed us to go to Western Canada >_< *throws a pitchfork at the traitors* Rogers is a real pain in the rear, it crashes too often for a well-known internet service, and its PPV's stink. xP I wish I had my beloved Shaw back *sighs* =\

From what I have heard of Kairi, she could outsmart my dad in some things related to computers. =X That was an intended compliment, not an insult. =P Your computer only gets heated up if you leave it on for a long time Kayleigh, you're computer is cold because it is most likely turned off often. ^^; I am fortunate to have a dad who has a job that revolves around computers, because it is that reason why I can actually have such a great CPU. =)

Not only that, but AIM, it's instant messenger system, has quite a big problem. People are quite easily capable of watching your conversation, and everything you say....people you're not talking to that is.

Well, for the moment I am thinking of getting a divorce with my CPU ¬_¬ It is being a real pain and everytime I turn it on the monitor goes nuts and shuts off, and every time I try to play DVDs it restarts. I will probably just have to get rid of it and use my parents CPU's, because last time my dad said that if it broke again that he would not fix it. Oh well, it angers me too much anyways.
