Okay, I know all my RP's seem to run along the same plot, but I like this one MUCH better then the last one. 0_0;; SO here we go!

They say that there is a gift. A gift, given to the children with the purest of hearts.

Even when these hearts are tainted with evil, these gifts are what bring the children back to justice. What is justice? When good conquers over evil? Where is the thin line that divides Good, and Evil? And where is the thin line every one of these children tread that shows if they are monsters, or the purest beings? How can you answer these questions?

More pure than an Angel itself…

More tainted then the Devil himself…

Many of the children with these gifts ask these questions that just can’t be answered. Bestowed upon them is the incredible talent of getting along with their most trusted companions without a single fight, and in some cases, they get along with just about everyone around them. But when one of these children’s hearts become tainted with what merely one legendary might consider Evil, or sinful, then the others must strive to bring that child back until the legendary in question is satisfied.

But perfect is different in everyone’s eyes. The hunters, as outnumbered as they were, hunted the children relentlessly, and pure as they were, would never harm the hunters. They soon died out until there was a meager 8 left from hundreds, trapped inside a forest shrine. Using their powers to seal themselves away, the hunters were unable to capture the last few, but were satisfied, as none of the 8 would be of any threat any longer. But what they didn’t expect, was when the all 8 of the statues made from jasper, sapphire, diamond, ruby, emerald, gold, garnet, and amethyst, disappeared from the confines of the lab of which they had been kept confined within. Nobody could explain this disappearance, but mourned the loss of such valuable statues, that could’ve been sold for high prices.

Millennia Later

These children are a mere legend, a dream, and a myth. They are brushed aside in the day-to-day lives of modern day peoples. They are different from the original children…their talents are tainted. They understand the meaning of hatred, pain, and suffering. The strange, are outcasts, no longer treated with the respect that once was. These children possessed 8 ancient pokemon, whose descendants died out after the disappearance of The Eight. Only one remains of each. Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos, the legendary birds that maintained the balance of Mother Nature. Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon, who maintained the balance of humanity. Celebi, and Mew, who represented these balances. Humanity as Celebi altered the past for the better good or worse of the future or past, and Mother Nature, for Mew, the one who brought the pokemon into the world.

Or so they say.

Was it Mew, or the Children, who brought the world to peace Millennia ago? Only Mew would now know that fact, and the questions are again, being asked.

The Child of Amethyst was unearthed in the depths of the Ilex Forest. Only to disappear in a flash of pink light, as Mew removed what remained of her chosen child from the grasp of humans and their ignorance. But this confirmed the legend of Children, for millions around the world, and it is now a story that is told ten fold more then before. Books upon books tell of the light that showed humans so many years ago what life and love were truly about. That knowledge was lost, and now you set out on a brand new quest to become a pokemon champion, with the side-quest of learning just what this legend that someone has told you is all about.

------------------------------
What you’re going to do~~You are an unwary Child, the reincarnations of the divine beings who once freely roamed the earth. A spark of interest arises when someone tells you of this story after many years of dismissing this myth. And what’s best is that you are finally about to go on your journey into the world, with your very own pokemon. You’ll be the ones to find the Children frozen into statues and put them to rest for the first time in years beyond your knowledge.

Name: Daria Kumara
Age: 13
Pokemon:
[Hikari - Chikorita - Female]
Hikari was the first ever pokemon Daria got, and loves her so well. Although she may not get along with other pokemon or humans, you can win her over by gaining her trust. When in battles, Hikari tries her best to win for Daria and is very full of herself when she wins. Sometimes, Hikari will just be relaxed and calm, and just take a short nap under a shady tree.
Final Team: Meganium (Hikari), Espeon (Carla), Banette (Aryleh), Wigglytuff (Missi), Absol (Shuu).
Personality: Stubborn, shy, and angsty, these words fit Daria to the bone. When you would first meet her she would give you one chance, only one to not get on her nerves. After winning, Daria just walks away, without a thing. You can gain her trust by no way, she's just a solo trainer who doesn't give a care to other people. Her past still terrifies her but she won't find a shoulder to cry on, she just tries...not to cry. But it doesn't go well when she tries. Sometimes, Daria would want to be all alone to let her true feelings out. But that doesn't stop her from being the stubborn girl that she is. When Amethyst is sorrowed, she tries to let it out in art, and creates beautiful pictures but have terrible destruction in them.
Appearance: http://img438.imageshack.us/my.php?image=winry8du.jpg
Well, what can I say? Daria looks like Winry Rockbell, expect about 3 or 4 years younger. Replacing the hat, you would find a cerulean bandana tied around her head and when she isn't wearing it, you could see it tied around her arm. Also, her shirt is a white and navy striped shirt that slightly curves at an angle on her shadowed blue jeans which are torn at the kneecaps. Her shoes consist of black Reeboks that have an autograph of Steven Stone on the left shoe. Daria also has a silver necklece around her neck, and has a dragon perched on a cliff with gleaming emerald eyes.
History: It was 12 years on one stormy light the rain heavily cascaded along the island of Sootopolis. Daria was only one year old, but never forgot the frightening moment that happened. Two monster, one ruby red and the other sapphire blue were smashing into each other on the waters of Sootopolis. Her parents were involved in this mess, as they were pokemon researchers and went closer to study them. The short story they drowned in the pouring waters, only leaving her. Then a shine of light came from the sky, it was an emerald green dragon. She heard the whispers of a pokemon named Rayquaza who was the guardian of the two pokemon. It let out a Hyper Beam, which led all back to normal. She couldn't forget this horrible day, and moved to Blackthorn city alone to help her with her problems. Daria still dreams of the day and fears the arrival of them again. Now she lives with her Aunt Greta and her cousin Robin, but isn't happy with them.
Legendary: Daria is of the Celebi.
Other: Daria has a French heritage and can speak it and go off into outspoken rants when she's mad, which is often.
RP Sample-From another Forum:
"Ughh, what's that voice" Merna maloventaly thought in her dazed thought. "Merma, Merma!". "Huh?" Merna queeringly said to find out it was her sister, you could see she was ready for school, backpack and all.

"Umm, what time is it Susie?" Merna asked her younger sister. "About 7:45, time for me to go to school, bye!". "Such a goody goody" she thought. Merna got out of bed, only five minutes to get ready. Her cat Uzumi walked in, Merna walked up to her and lifted Uzumi's arms up. "Rawr, I'm Catmon, I'll take you to school Merna!". "Heh" said Merna quietly. Merna put on her usual clothes, a striped navy and white top, her torn, dark jeans with some graffiti sprayed in areas, and her blue kangoroos. Merna rushed out of the house forgetting to say goodbye to Dad and Mrs. Herkuma, as she refuses to call Violet her 'mom'. "Miss Natsumi's going to kill me I said under my breath as I ran over to the schoolyard. As soon as she got there "Ring, Ring" the bell ring and she was late once again.

Merna droopily walked into her classroom her teacher's hazel eyes glaring at her. "And why are you late" asked Miss Natsumi. "Just give me detention" Merna said with a huge sigh. "Fine" that's your third detention of the week, so, we'll have to call your parents. "Which ones" Merna sadly asked. "Just go to Mr. Bashes room" Miss Natsumi said.

As Merna walked into the classroom Mr. Bashes was waiting for her. As always she was the only one in the room. Mr. Bashes took of his glasses revealing these beautiful crimson eyes. "Here Merna", he handed her a pass, you have a big adventure coming so get ready.

Merna wierdly walked out of the school, "What adventure", "What did he mean by that?". Then Merna heard some Gackt, it was from her cellphone. A text message to meet someone at the train station. "I guess this is my big adventure" Merna said as she headed for the train station.

When she arrived she saw many other kids, only noticing a few from her school, Susie was there too, Merna saw her questionably loking at the train. Then they started dissapearing, ten by ten, some Merna saw Susie dissapear too until there was ten kids, Merna didn't know any of them. They looked just as queer as she looked. "The train is boarding" Merna heard the announcer say as the kids walked into the train one by one. "Why isn't anyone else here, who's doing this?" The bunch of kids questioned for ten minutes. Then the doors closed, they were all alone in a train to who knows where. Then the train started to go at high speed, all the kids were puzzled by this and looked out the window, there was much data around them and they didn't know where they were.

Soon, the train stopped at a times and the kids headed out, looking to see a light, they decided to head into it and as soon as they stood up from their fall, they saw a large rabbit. Merna heard the tall rabbit saw "Turn around", "Wait, she can talk" Merna questioned in her mind. Then the tall rabbit began to explain.“I am Antylamon, your guide. In this sack I have a few.....things which you may find very useful. So come up here and stick your hand in the sack. You will find a statue of some sort, keep it. The other thing you should find is a necklace, keep that too.” Merna heard some boy say 'Why should we" as hey raised his eyebrow, she heard another one say "who called us here?", Merna was wondering that too. The rabbit replied “Ophanimon. She’s one of the Celestial Digimon. One of the gods of the Digital World, if you will. That’s where you are, if you were wondering.”
Merna stepped up, "Why should we believe you?" Merna said with a hasty tone.“Good question. The fact that I won’t step on you might be an answer." the guide sarcastically said. “If we are in the Digital World.....Won’t we get Digimon?” another one asked, Merna already knew about the digital world as well as the boy.“Well, of course. They are late, they ought to be here any minute...” Merna saw she was stalling for time. “Aha! There they are!”. The kids looked at another light similar to the kids and out popped some creatures, "Digimon" Merna said under her breath. They were all still in- training Merna knew as they were small. A small green digimon that looked like a fox came up to her "Hi I'm Nyaromon, your partner digimon!". "My partner", Merna said with a surprising tone. "Yeah" I'm yours said the so called 'Nyaromon'. Merna hugged the little digimon, "I can't believe you're mine!" said the teenage girl. As soon as she met up with her partner, she reached in the sack, unaware of what she will get. She reached in the sack to find a pink necklace with an image of a sun. "Ah the light crest" the rabbit said. Merna reached in again and pulled out a statue featuring a digimon with wings "The spirit of wind, great" Antylamon said. Merna walked down to the other kids, one of the firsts to get her stuff. Then a strong light grew from her hands, "It's a Digivice!" Merna thought as the purple and cerulean degivice appeared. Merna knew a big adventure was waiting for her.

Name:Artemis Consel

Age: 14

Pokemon: Girafarig - "Melody." Female.http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrs164.gif
Melody is the type of girl who always cares about her appearance. She is very vain, and very proper. She can't stand to be dirty in any way. If someone around her is acting foolish or un-dignified in any way, she becomes very embarrased. However, she drops all of her dignity when she is battling. She fights very hard, and fights to win. Sometimes, her competetive nature intimidates Artemis.

Final Team: : (This doesn't include their personalities - those will be defined as I catch them)
Girafarig - "Melody." Female.http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrs164.gif

Sharpedo - "Psycho." Male. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrs098.gif

Swellow - "Robin." Female. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrs026.gif

Jynx -"Jynx." Female http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/emespr/emespr124.png

Electabuzz "Electabuzz." Male http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/emespr/emespr125.png

Magmar - "Magmar." Male http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/emespr/emespr126.png

Personality: Being of the Amythest, Artemis is quite a bit like the tales of Mew, which tell of it being a happy, carefree individual. However, like Mew, he's easily startled, and he can be very reserved towards people who don't give him the right "vibe." While not exactly a psychic power, he posseses a certain instinct, a "sixth sense" if you will. This allows him to tell when something is about to go wrong, or is going wrong, or vice versa. He can be quite bipolar at times, and depending on such trivial things as the weather, or hearing something on the news can shift his mood from bouncy and bubbly to reserved and lonely. He loves to play little tricks on people, provided he's in the mood, and he can be rather flirtatious. (again, when the mood suits.) All in all, he's a good kid - there was just always something strange about him.

Appearance: Artemis is a healthy young lad. At a solid 5'9" he weighs only about 125 pounds. He has blondish hair down to his neck that covers part of his face. He's handsome, and has nice facial features (beautiful eyes, nice hair, good teeth) but isn't muscular at all. His eyes are a soothing gray that seem to reflect his mood into other who gaze into them. His usual apparel consists of dark grey slacks, a white T-shirt, (portraying a Mawile's giant jaws gaping open at the viewer, along with the text, "Bite Me.") a dark grey jacket with the ensignia of the school he attends embroidered above his left breast, and black converse hi-tops with neon green laces.

History: Born and raised in Ecruteak City, both his parents lived and worked in an age old, family owned inn, which Artemis has lived all his life. Ever since the time he could walk, he loved to sneak out of his bed and listen to the old tales told by travelers and mariners alike who frequented the tavern. Being the nature of the city as well, many monks would barge in and yell about a various spirit that was going to haunt them all. (At this, just to be funny, Artemis would flick the lights on and off a few times, just to freak everyone out.) All sorts of people came and went through the inn. (Some of his favorites included a man named Ignov, who was a big beefy man from some foreign country who married his Jynx, and a skinny man named Horace who insisted every time that he came into the bar that he was turning into a Bellsprout ever since the guards at the tower had thrown him out the window.) So, naturally, Artemis became very familiar with the surrounding regions, along with any tall tales that accompanied them. He dreamed of being an explorer one day, and finding out if any of those tales were true. Until one day, when he heard a particular tale...

Other: Artemis has a particular attraction to pokemon, and oddly enough, many wild pokemon become docile while around him. It's been a trait that he's always had, and he thought it was just part of his nature.

Slateport City - 5:30 PM

Slateport - a massive staple of Hoenn's power and money. As Julian stepped out of Earl's Pokemon Academy, (which happened to look exactly like the Goldenrod branch, complete with the horribly done neon sign of the spinning fat man, and broken window on the 2nd floor.) he realized that he had never, ever, been to Hoenn at all, let alone Slateport. Suddenly, he felt very afraid, and insignificant. Suddenly, an odd, high pitched voice sounded out behind him.

"Hallo!! You look lost, yes?!" Julian wheeled around, and found himself face to face with a large man.. and he seemed to be spinning. Julian was taken aback for a second, but looking up at the neon sign, he made a few assumptions.

"Um.. I guess... are you Earl?" The fat man shook his massive face in an enthusiastic nod. "Why, yes! Have heard of me you?" Earl queried, almost psychotically. Julian took a step back.

"Um, I guess so.." The man named Earl took a step forward and made a grab for Julian. "I help you with pokemon, yes!?" Julian yelped, and took several steps back. He started to panic a little. "Uh.. no. I need.. um, directions to Rustboro city.. if you please." Earl threw his chubby arms in the air, and spun around twice in rapid succession. "YES! Exploration, always excellent! To for get to Rustboro city..."

Earl drew a large piece of paper from his pocket (How he managed to fit it in there, Julian wasn't exactly sure.) and also extracted a vibrant purple crayon, and began to draw a crude map of the surrounding area. "Well, my young friend, if take you this road, and go into cave, you make to Rustboro soon!" Earl handed the boy the map with a monstrous smile, but when he opened his eye to extend his hand in farewell, Julian had already bolted away from the huge man that he was sure had intentions to eat him.

"Huff... Puff..." Julian panted as he leaned against the wall. He took out his PokeGear to check the time, but as he did, it began to buzz and flash. [NEW EMAIL!] is what it proclaimed. Julian opened the message, and it went something like this..

“To All Team Trainer Members,

For the past few days, we have encountered a massive world problem known only as the virus. It has transformed many people, and some Trainer members, into hybrids, a combination of humans and pokemon. Although the hybrids seem to have retained their essential humanity, many people in this world still fear them and wish to kill them. We cannot allow that...

...All Trainer members who have not been infected and are stationed outside the Kanto and Johto regions are asked to report your status to Trainer Headquarters at Rustboro City. All traveling members of Trainer should also report to Rustboro City personally for further orders. Any members already on missions do not need to report in...

...We will get through this and we will succeed as a team. The world is depending on us and I am sure we will not let it down. Let’s fight for freedom, fight for glory, and fight to win!

- Directory Harry Kim

"Harry Kim..." Julian mused. "I remember hearing about him. He was really high up in the progression, but I don't remember exactly what position he held." He closed his Pokegear, and headed north through Slateport.

It was a lot bigger than he thought it was. It wasn't like Saffron, there weren't busses or trams that ran through the streets like in his home city. "Well, let's see." He reached for his belt, grabbed Asura's pokeball, and tossed it into the street. The girafarig emerged from the blinding light. <Yeah, what?> the pokemon grumbled crossly. <I was trying to fix the bow in my hair.>

"You can do that when we get to Rustboro." Julian responded simply. "I need transportation, alright? Willing?"

<Yeah, I guess so. But if you mess up my hair..> Julian laughed before she could finish, and hopped on her back. Girafarigs are surprisingly strong and fast. Before he knew it, he was galloping through the city. In about 20 minutes time, he was in the open field again. He stopped for a minute to let his steed rest.

"Team Trainer.. Harry Kim.. the virus.. what is this all about, anyway? Why am I so drawn to Team Trainer? He barely told me anything about it, and the next thing I know, I'm in a different country. I don't have anything to rely on except some crazy fat guy's crude map (which was basically purple lines. You had to use your imagination.) and this email from this 'Kim' guy. This is so crazy.." he thought to himself.

"What do you think of it, Asura?" The pokemon did not reply, too entranced with it's own reflection in the water. "Then again," he thought, "I know exactly what she'd say;"

<You're just crazy, Julian.>

"Maybe she's right." he thought. "Maybe I AM crazy"

Ooh, this looks fun!

Name: Julian Moore
Age: 13 years old
Pokemon: Torchic
Final Team: Blaziken, Espeon, Starmie, Ivysaur, Manectric, and Pidgeot
Personality: Julian is a girl who easily gets angered and resorts to violence, which isn't a very good combo. She is very sarcastic which annoys others sometimes and has a very strange, random sense of humor. She's tomboyish and lazy but loves to read. She is also very blunt and is has a rather short attention span. She can act over-dramatic at times to get out of sticky situations. So all in all, she may be annoying and grouchy but she's a loyal and trustworthy friend... if you can put up with her.
Appearance: Her face and hairstyle looks like this. (http://myspace-854.vo.llnwd.net/00870/45/83/870543854_l.jpg) For clothes, she wears a forest green cotton, body hugging, "stretchy" tank-top and khaki non-baggy cargo pants. For shoes, she has forest green trainers and for accesories, forest green wristbands and back-pack.
History: Julian learned of the Legend in an ironic way. She was at library browsing for a good book. She continued searching until she found herself in an area of the library she never knew was there. She saw many thick books and was walking when she tripped over a loose shoelace (-.-U) and fell. Her trip caused a large book to fall and land on her head. She noticed the book was very old looking, and saw that no author's name was published. The book didn't even have a title or page numbers. She noticed that it didn't have the library card slot and took it home with her.
Other: Julian is of the Jasper although her birthstone is the amythest. She is a very spunky and sassy girl and doesn't take crap from anyone.
RP Sample:

"You mean, you want to become a Co-Ordinator?" I asked Catalina. She nodded, a nervous look on her face. We were currently outside the large contest arena. I stared hard at her before smirking. A fake smirk.

"Fine, but promise me that if you lose, don't mope around about it. I'll be watching from outside." I said before giving a small wave and walking into the park not far from the arena. When I entered the park, I head straight to a bench I spotted and sat myself down. I sighed and looked up at the cloudless sky.

What was I to do? It was very boring here, the only few people here were joggers or old couples feading the Pidgeys. After a few minutes of sitting and doing absolutely nothing, I decided to head back to the arena.

YoshiRiRu, accepted, Jelly beans, a little more to your personality, and you're accepted as well. Sorry I forgot to add the 'legendary' part, so if you could inform me of that too JellyBeans? (Already know yours YRR) ARG. STUPID SERVER!! >( xXFallenXx, add to your personality and, I was gonna have Jasper, but s'okay, I can easily change, but otherwise, accepted. (My fault for not getting here earlier)

Name:Stilla
Age: 13
Pokemon: Shuppet
Final Team: Banette, Rapidash, Macargo, Steelix, Metagross, Gengar
Personality: Stilla is known to be very mysterious, as you never know what she's thinking. Although she occasionally comes off as a bit eerie, overall she really cares about her pokemon and wants to be close to them. Tarot cards, magic, and admiring the view of the stars are some of the defining characteristics of Stilla, along with being the only sister out of her family to dress in Western style clothing. After the first few weeks of meeting her, you gradually get a sense of how she sees things around her, believing in fate and the destiny of the stars guiding her, her sisters, and her pokemon’s skills. She is quite a reserved person, yet her mannerisms prove that she's very mature for her age. She is very proud of her opinion’s, and doesn’t let anyone change them. Stilla is also very confident in her decision’s, and once she’s made a choice, she doesn’t easily sway.

Appearance: Stilla ( http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g316/KendoGurl3/Red%20and%20Orange%20hair/77248190.jpg) has on black motorcycle boots. (Sorry, my writers block makes me want to use piccu’s instead…)

History: At the age of three, Stilla had instilled a great fascination for magic, and legends. Stilla’s grandma used to tell her the story of children all the time, and Stilla always believed in the story, no matter how much her sister’s ridiculed the story. Being the oddball of her family, she grew rather distant from her elegant sisters, who were very different from her, being traditional and wearing kimono’s and the old japanese garb. Though she was the youngest, she always considered herself the most mature for the reason she never giggled over boy magazines, or cute pokemon, and she never learned the art of pouring tea, or playing the harp, save for a bit of lyre practice, therefore, strived to become even more mature. After her 13th birthday, she decided that in order to get away from her sisters, she’d go on a pokemon journey, frowned upon by her parents for it’s lack of elegance, and for her now deceased Grandma’s last wish for her, which thankfully didn’t include getting pretty, like her sisters, would discover the truth behind the stories.

Other: Stilla always has a set of tarot cards with her, no matter what the situation is.

Name: Kapachi (Kappa)

Age: 13

Pokemon: Chansey (F) (Blair)

Final Team: Plusle (Fanary), Wooper (Waka), Flygon (Flygon), Quagsire (Waka), Berloom (Berka)

Personality: Kapachi is basically your average follower type, she goes with the flow. She rarely argues with someone else's opinion and rarely gives her own. As a friend, she's loyal and trustworthy. She usually doesn't talk much at first, but as she gets to know you, she'll began to express herself more. She loves company and her worst fear is being alone. Usually the bystandard, she doesn't like bringing too much attention to herself. Because of this, she doesn't know how to react when given a compliment or asked for her opinion. She doesn't think that she's worth it. One thing that she hates more than anything else though is being told of what to expect, or how things may end up. She lives each day as it comes and doesn't like to think to far ahead into the future.

Appearance: Here (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b289/lilsyco_666/Anime%20Pics/16.jpg)
I'm sorry, I have a brainlag nowadays @_@ Anyway, her shoes are a cross between mountain boots and tennis shoes; they look like brown mountain boots but are shaped like tennis shoes...(a.k.a brown and black laced tennis shoes with a thike sole.)

Legendary: Sapphire-Kygore

History: Kapachi has no true family; she was abandoned when she was two at a Pokemon Center. As Nurse Joy had recalled to her, Kapachi had waited there until closing time for her mother. Nurse Joy decided to let her spend the night there, and the next day realised that she had been abandoned. Taking her under her wing, Nurse Joy treated Kapachi as if she were her own and let her help out around the Pokemon Center. There, Kapachi overheard many things about Pokemon journeys and battles, which began to interest her even more and more. Each year, a wonderer passed by the city and told stories to people who lived there. Kapachi loved to go and listen to his stories there. When she was 12, she had heard from the wanderer of the Legend and had never forgotten it. When she was 13, she decided to go out and start her own Pokemon journey, hoping maybe she could come back and tell stories like the wanderer.

Other: Kapachi always keeps a high amount of healing items/berries with her wherever she goes. From being with Nurse Joy, she knows how to make her own potions.

RP Sample:
"Kappa, it's almost closing time. Please sweep the floors before you head to bed, dear." Joy said, taking of her hat and rearranging the items and papers on the counter.

"Hai. I'll get right to them." She replied, taking out the broom from the wall and brushing under the tables. She paused for a quick second and glanced over to the nurse. "Um, Joy?"

"Yes dear,"

"How is the Nidoking that was taken in today?" Nurse Joy gave a loving smile as she looked at the blue haired girl.

"She's doing just fine. The poison has decreased since she arrived here. If it wasn't for you finding her in the forest, I don't think she would have made it! You've got good eyes, Kapachi." Kapachi blushed and began to sweep the floor, giving a slight murmur of a 'thank you'. Nurse Joy gave an inward sigh as she began to finish up her work around the counter. If Kapachi was going to go on a Pokemon journey soon, she should be more open towards others. She wouldn't be able to make it alone...

"Chan! Chansey Chan!" Blair, who was in the area with Kapachi joyfully sang, grabbing another broom from the wall and began to mimic Kapachi. The girl giggled as the Pokemon beside her still began to chant. Maybe she isn't alone... Nurse Joy began to peacefully think.

(Sorry if my RP Samples don't look too good. If I don't have something to go on, I don't do as good ._.; But usually when a story is going, I can type pages XD)

All of you are accepted, JellyBeans, xXFallenXx, although Chibi-chan, I would appreciate it if you added more to your roleplay posts then what you've given me in the RP Sample. One or two more people and we can start... I think. *checks list* Yeah, two more should do the trick.

Name- Candle Nawe

Age- 15

Pokemon- Slowpoke [Dona- Male]

This Slowpoke is as slow as most get. If not, slower. He enjoys sleeping in his pokeball, if he's out, he rarely makes conversation with those around him. Rather, he yawns and closes his eyes whenever he gets the chance. He's been Candle's pokemon since the boy was a wee tyke, thus, they share a strong bond.
Lazy and slow he might be, but this Water Type can pack a punch when it all comes down to him. He never ignores troubles or other peoples problems. He tries helping in anyway he can. [Preferably in a way which allows him to sleep]
Now and again, Dona manages to take people by surprise with his wise words and helpful advice. Caring for those who he thinks needs some love, that mostly being his own trainer.

He's one of the best friends you'll ever have.

Final Team-
Slowbro- Dona[Male]
Pigeot- Muse[Female]
Gligar- Remius[Male]
Furret- Fleet[Male]
Piloswine- Estabonn [Female]

Personality-

Candle's a cowardly person, rarely putting others before himself. Always the first to run away if trouble occurs. He detests those who are forceful and rash, rather taking things slowly and carefully.

Some call him 'paranoid', he calls himself 'street smart'. Almost never listening to the advice or comments of people, this getting him into lots of tight spots. If you were to tell him that his shoe lace was untied, he'd jump back and wag his finger at you, exclaiming, 'Ahhh, y' can't trick me THAT easily!' In the end, tripping over his untied shoe lace.

You get the point.

The boy is also known for his weird leaps in logic. "Mother left for work without saying goodbye today.... I think I'll go and get a glass of milk." Something or the other.

Rather than listen to the logical explanation of things, he tends to follow his heart. Mostly, this is a good thing, if not for the fact that this also lands him in tough situations now and again. At times, he tends to be indecisive, leading to him losing some of the would-be best moments of his life. If only he hadn't taken so long to decide on an option.

Nothing much of any else can be said about Candle. Except that now and again, if he's in a good mood, he really can seem caring. But only to those who deserve it.

Appearance-

Candle is of normal height for boys his age, though, he's always wanted to be one of the taller people. His fluffy chesnut brown hair sits atop his head, just barely brushing against his shoulders. Most attention is drawn to those dashing green eyes the boy possesses. His skin is of average pigment as well, not too tan, nor is he freakishly pale.

His usual attire consists of a dark blue, short sleeved jacket over a black, long sleeved shirt. Comfy black pants and a pair of old sneakers. To hold his future pokemon, he has a silver belt losely secured around his waist. To carry his possessions in, a small brown knapsack.

History-

Candle comes from a family of bakers. He used to live in a bakery, at least, until he decided to set foot into the world beyond that oven.

Starting his trainer's journey at the young age of fourteen, the boy has never really liked the idea of travelling to and fro. Wandering about aimlessly. But, hey, as long as it got him away from all that flour and dough.

Growing up with three older siblings had never felt so wrong. Especially, with all of them being sisters. Being wedged into a family of females, it was all his father's fault! Why did he have to go away when he was ten? The boy could still, very distinctly, remember his words-

"Candle, m'boy! I'm off to do something with my life. I ain't going to waste it round here, with all these sissy bread loaves! Promise me, y'll come and find me when y're old enough. Aye'?"

What followed, was a harsh accusation of a mistress being involved, then, the slamming of a door.

Then. Silence.

The wait was four full years. Finally, when the boy deemed himself old enough, with just a single pokeball in his posession and ample food and clothes, he set off. Saying goodbyes weren't always easy. But, as he remember what Pa had said before,
'After parting, always comes reunion.'

The father passed him a pokemon he had found wandering by the town's fountain not too long ago. Stating that he knew, that the boy would treat it well.

The young Slowpoke was frail as it was slow. But, inspite of this. As it materialsed infront of the young child in a flash of red light. A soft smile crept onto the boy's features. His emerald orbs sparkling with interest at the pink, dopey pokemon sitting on his lap.

--

Waving his hands as he disappeared out of that small town in Kanto. Remembering an old myth his mother had told him and his older sisters before, when his father was still around. Infront of a fireplace on Christmas Eve. She wanted to get the whole family into the holiday spirit, especially her son. Despite the fact that the legend had nil to do with Christmas, little did she know it had sparked a small, significant flare in the boy's heart.

He left the town, dreams soaring as high as the many Swellow flying in the sky.

Wanting, the most, to carve out his own pavement in life.

Other-
Though the boy denies all truth in this. But, secretly- He's an excellent baker! His cookies are what brings delight to the few who have tried them.

Legendary-
Ruby- Groudon

RP Sample-

“Can't you walk any faster, Dona?”

{Fastest I can get, Candle-person, me thinks that is you who it is the one who is walking fast..}the Slowpoke yawned, gazing up to the human strolling beside him. The pink pokemon was trying his hardest to keep up with the boy, even he knew that he was one of the slowest Pokemon the world had to offer. Switching from a walk to a slow jog, the Water Type huffed as he kept his feet in time with his trainer's steps, hoping that he wouldn't start to fall behind again. Especially when he had just caught up.

“Ahh, fine. Fine,”the boy slowed down, allowing the Slowpoke running beside him to catch his breath, he really was too soft. He needed to learn to be less lenient with his Pokemon. At least, maybe then they would respect him more.

Just as that certain thought crossed the boy's mind, he felt something land with a loud 'splat' on his head, followed by feeling a wet sensation overcome his whole self. Now, he was drenched from head to toe, scowling, Candle immediately looked up, spotting a cheeky looking Gligar grinning down at him.

“Remius!!!!”the boy scolded, shaking the water off his arms, running his hands through his wet, chesnut brown hair soon after. Trying his best to get himself dry in the least amount of time.

{Yo' bos'! These funny duddy water balloons ya' bought me sure ar' nice ta' play wid!!!}the Gligar, obviously named Remius, chuckled.

“Yes, especially when you pull the prank on your own trainer!”the boy added on sarcasticly, ignoring his wet shirt, jacket and pants, they would dry sooner or later. This wasn't the first time Rem had pulled a fast one on him. It was always the same, a water balloon before dinner, one when he wakes up, another one some time during the day! How he despised that little habit of the Flying type, if only there were other people for him to pick on. Perhaps then, could Candle stop being the poor victim of his far-from-funny jokes.

{D'oh! Ya' don't need to say it in tha' way, y'know?}the glider landed on his trainer's wet shoulder, eyes closed, scratching his head with one claw, it was his way of apologising.

The boy wanted to open his mouth once more, to comment on how the Gligar had been so foolish with his actions. However, his voice was dwarfed in comparison to the loud squawk they heard resounding from the treetops.

“Pigeotto~!!!!”a bird landed infront of the human and his two pokemon, a smile on her face as she spread her wings out wide, starting to run over to them.

{Visitors! Yay! Yay! Yay, yay, yay!!!}she squealed, hastening her talons so that she'd be able to embrace all three of the newcomers earlier.

It took a few seconds for Candle to fully take in what had just happened, his mouth quivering as he tried to make use of his tougue. “R-R-RUN!!!!”his eyes widdened in shock, this being the first time seeing a mad Pigeotto who chose to catch her prey by foot. He broke into a fast sprint with Remius on his shoulder, Dona following suit.

{Hey's! Don't run away from me!!}the avian grinned happily, thinking that it was just a friendship- building game they were now participating in, choosing to play along, chasing after the funny boy and his pokemon.

OOC: Since nobody else wants to, I believe I'll take the liberty of the first IC post.

IC:"Artemis. Artemis, get up. Artemis! ARTEMIS!"

Nancy Consel bellowed from the bottom of the stairwell. She was a pretty woman, with small hips and bony cheeks. Her hair was white blonde, quite a bit lighter than her son's, and her eyes were a cloudy grey that always seemed to be hiding exhaustion behind a wall of cheeriness. She crossed her arms, and began to tap her foot impatiently, waiting for her lazy son to awake.

"Artemis..!"

The faint cry of his mother trickled it's way through his door and into his delicate ears. Sitting up in a half awake stupor, he yawned lazily. Looking at his clock with a disgruntled sigh, his gray eyes suddenly snapped open.

"11:30?! Holy snap.. I overslept like crazy.." Leaping out of bed quick as a flash, he rushed into the bathroom, washed his face and brushed his teeth, threw on some clean clothes his mother had placed neatly in a stack on his computer chair, snapped on his PokeGear, and rushed out of his room.

Dashing down the stairs, he stammered his apologies to his mother while simultaneously trying to avoid her stern glare.

"Do you have any idea what time it is!?" She scolded, stamping her foot angrily.

"We've got people wait-" she continued, but Artemis interrupted.

"Sorrysorrysorry! I overslept, I get it. I'll get right to work. What do you need me to do?" His mother smiled.

"Good. Well, first thing.." she licked her thumb, and ran it through the boy's head, smoothing a prominent cowlick.

"The first rule of being a good host is.." she began, and Artemis joined her mantra with a dronish tone. "..always look presentable." His mother smiled.

"That's right. Now. I think we need some things from the store. Go run into the kitchen and ask your father. He's making breakfast this morning."

With a swift nod, Artemis ran through the crowded inn lobby, into the back room labeled 'Employee's only.' As he walked into the back room, the smell of bacon, eggs, and waffles filled his nostrils.

"Ah, Art, mah boy. Glad to see you're awake." Alex Consel called from behind a kitchen stove. Artemis' father was a large, well built man, with a goatee and eyeglasses. His hair was cut very short, but if it had been allowed to grow out, it would have been seen to be a vibrant brown. Artemis' father was a good tempered man with a taste for fine food and excellent hospitality. When not cooking or cleaning, he could usually be found either reading or writing. Although it was his favorite hobby, none of his writings were ever very good, although everyone participated in his nightly readings, and no-one would ever deny enjoying hearing him narrate them.

"'Morning, dad. Smells great." Artemis greeting his father in passing, while helping himself to a nice slice of fresh bacon. With a mouthful of bacon, he spoke.

"Mom said you needed something?" His father nodded.

"Yes, I do, son. We're fine for today, but we've nearly exhausted our supply of eggs, milk, and bacon. So, run down to the Miltank farm, and pick up those things. If you want, you can drop by Olivine as well, and pick up something you'd like for dessert." With a smile, Artemis' father sent him out of the kitchen, and the boy stepped out into the bright sunlight of the midmorning. With a yawn and a huge stretch, he headed off for the Miltank Farm.

"Be careful," My oldest sister said to me, dressed in her purple kimono as she lectured me, "And don't talk to strangers. And, our family is blessed with unnatural beauty, DON'T talk to any men you do not know!" She continued, as my other two sisters pinned me onto the chair, as I tried to wriggle out of their grasp.

"I know, I know." I replied coolly, expressionless. Beauty? I wanted to say. Look in a mirror! But my sisters had always thought unnaturally high of themselves. What pricks! "I'll be careful alright? The only people who are assaulting me, are you, Kasura, and Laoko. So please let go of me, and let me go. It's what grandma wanted." I reasoned, and I knew I'd won. The look on their delicately fakely drawn faces showed that they would show all the respect in the world to those who had passed on. It was terrible, to use my Grandma as a tool, but I'm sure she would've laughed it off and called me clever.

"Thank you." I said, when my sisters let go of me, and Kiragu, the oldest, handed me a sling bag, and pushed me out the door. I felt rather annoyed, that they'd kept me in the house awhile longer just to push me out of the house later on. But nonetheless, I shouldered the sling bag, and knew it was probably filled with jewlery and make-up. I'd sell all that and buy the things I needed. Eventually tell my sisters that I'd dropped the bag one day and everything came spilling out, and I lost most everything in the river. Except the bag. I smirked and easily strode out of the Kimono Dancer's home.

Ecruteak was as mysterious as always, and I smiled as a little ghost pokemon circled around me in a whoosh of air. The shuppet cried out it's own name and immediately floated toward one of the many exits from Ecruteak. Shuppet had picked the southern exit, to Goldenrod. It would be best, yes, to start at Newbark, since the difficulty went from there up, but why not go ahead and start here? At Ecruteak. Upon seeing the first Vulpix, Shuppet freaked out and dashed back into my arms.

A rabid Vulpix, was probably what it was thinking. That's when I knew Shuppet was right for going to Newbark, instead of staying around here.

"Where is it!?" I muttered furiously to myself as I continued to search through my rather messy room. I scowled as a small orange chick like creature chirped at me in a mocking sort of way.

"Oh shut up." I glared at my Torchic who merely turned away from me un-caringly. I rolled my dark brown eyes and continued searching. Why did I have to get such a smart aleck Pokemon?

Now you're probably wondering, WHAT was I searching for so badly? A book. Not just any old book, one of those old, ancient books that you don't find on a daily basis. It didn't have a title, page numbers or an author name published. And it was gone. Poof, just like that.

I sighed, giving up. I sat on my bed, which was now covered in half of the things I was throwing around, and groaned. I now had to clean this all up before my mom got home.

-

"C'mon Torchic, we're going out." I said as I picked her up, tucked her under my arm like a football and stalked out of the house. I had this odd habit when I walked. I never picked my feet up from the ground all the way so I always made this scuffing noise. It had the tendancy to annoy people I disliked which was also why I never tried to grow out of it.

Where to go? I decided to head to Goldenrod City. I shifted Torchic slightly before starting towards one of the largest cities in Johto.

"C'mon! Dona!! You're being slow again!!"a young boy with chesnut brown hair complained, his hands on his hips as he tapped an impatient foot of the floor of the room.

{Jus' a bit more, Candle-person. Me needs more slee-...}the Slowpoke on the bed had no chance to finish his sentence, his heavy eyelids shutting themselves tightly as he dozed off.

The boy blinked his emerald eyes, slapping his face with one hand, mumbling something about insomia before grabbing a pokeball from the the silver belt he wore.

In a flash of red light, the dopey pokemon which was once on the bed of the little room the boy had stayed in for the night, was back into his rightful pokeball. A small 'click' sound was heard as he clipped the sphere onto it's strap. Candle swung his knapsack over one shoulder, taking note to survey the room from wall to wall, just to make sure he hadn't left anything behind. The drawers and cupboard were opened and empty, double-taking once more, the boy assured himself as he stepped out of the room of the Pokemon Center.

-

"Hope to see you again, sir!"the Nurse at the counter held a broad smile on her face as she waved to the fifteen-year old teenager exiting the doors of the center. The smile grew as she received a slight flick of the arm as an answer. That was better than nothing, courtesy was, more or less, dead these days.

"Where to, where to..?"the boy placed a finger on his chin as he stepped into the quaint little town of Cherrygrove. It was rather small, compared to Safforn at least. How he remembered the bustling streets so well, back at home.

Drivers of cars thought that the white lines of the road meant only one thing- Drive faster.

So, all in all, Candle was oh so very glad that this town had anything but roads.

The trainer had both hands in the pocket of his black pants as he strolled out of the town, nodding to the various folk who had greeted him a good morning. The people here were so... friendly.

Straightening out the creases in his jacket and shirt as he came to a small signpost placed just outside of Cherrygrove, the boy studied it carefully. After all those years of being there, it had gathered moss and cracks on it's woody surface.

"To Newbark town it is then,"Candle said outloud, it seemed like he was talking to himself.

That wasn't really a good sign.

Moments later, a form materialised beside the boy, the Slowpoke yawned groggily as it tried to shake it's sleepiness off. {Where're we headed to today, Candle-person?}Dona asked, closing his eyes as a chance showed itself in the form of the human looking back at the sign.

"Newbark Town, Dona. Newbark."

"You think you can take ten more Sitrus Berries with you Kappa?"

"I...guess so..." I watched helplessly Joy began to cram berries into my backpack; as if I would ever be able to carry it on my back. Blair began to puff up abit and stamp her foot. I calmly gave her a pat on the head, understanding her impatience and also a bit embarrassed as the line on the other side of the Pokemon Center counter became longer.

"Um Joy, the patients..."

"Well they'll have to wait! It's not every day you get to send someone off on a Pokemon Journey, is it?" She replied, now packing an extra rope. I sighed. There was no point in arguing...

A few minutes later, she finally stood up; with a rather accomplished expression, she handed me my overwieght backpack. I put it on my back and tried to catch my balance. Blair nearly caught me from falling over.

"Now you don't talk to bicycle gangs, right?"

"Right"

"Or join any teams?"

"...yes..."

"Or take every berry off a tree right?"

"....I've got it..." Nurse Joy beamed at me and began to push me towards the door while Blair followed after us. With a final embrace and a few more questions, the Nurse who had taken care of me finally had let me go.

"Now don't come back until you've got a good story to tell me, alright?" I smiled and nodded while beginning to walk away. "I love you Kapachi! You and Blair take care of yourselves!" I sighed and waved back until she disappeared out of sight. Just me and my party now...it was a hard thing to finally get my head around! Yet it also seemed a bit overwhelming.

"Well, first stop, Goldenrod. Got the map, Blair?"

"Chaaansey!" I smiled at her as she began to pace with me by my side. And so we were off.

Coming around the back of the inn, Artemis made his way towards the empty stables. Nobody really used pokemon for travel anymore, except for flying ones. They either walked, or flew, usually. So naturally, the horse stable, which had been used for a great many years in the past, stood empty and lonely, except for a single Girafarig sleeping peacefully in one of the stables. Artemis smiled, and walked over to the kennel where his companion dozed.

"Melody.. Melody." Artemis softly called; but to no avail. The pokemon slumbered on.
"Ugh. Fine..." with a deep breath, he bellowed as loud as he could.

"MELODY!!"

At this, the pokemon snapped to attention with a squeal, and leapt up to her feet, glaring around, wild-eyed. Seeing the smirk on Artemis' face, Melody's face became contorted with rage.
<Oooooh, you beast! You little punk! Why, when I get my hands on you...> With a chuckle, Artemis patted his girafarig tenderly on the head.
"I'm sorry, girl. I tried to wake you up for like 5 minutes.. but.. you just... wouldn't wake up!" Artemis grinned mischeviously.
<Yeah, my tail you did. Now, if you'll excuse me, you brute, I need to fix my bow.> Artemis rolled his eyes, and turned away, his hands shoved casually into his pocket. Whenever she wasn't battling, Melody always had a hot pink bow in hair, right behind her right ear. It was VERY important to her that this remained intact, and undamaged at all times.
<Now. Why did you feel the need to interrupt my beauty sleep in the first place?> she scoffed, and threw her head back, her gorgeous white mane flapping behind her. Artemis smiled.
"We've got work to do. I need you to take me to the Miltank Farm and back. We need to pick up some stuff for Dad. I've got a list on my Pokegear, come on." With a simple, yet very graceful motion, Artemis swung himself upon Melody's back, and dashed out of the stable into the morning sunlight.

While he had never really thought about it, Artemis was quite an accomplished rider. He had had Melody ever since he was a young child, and had always enjoyed riding her to and fro. Although they don't look the part, Girafarig are incredibly powerful and speedy runners, so within a matter of minutes, he had reached full gallop and was dashing out of Ecruteak City towards the Olivine City Miltank Farm. Artemis loved the wind rustling through his hair, and blowing his shirt all around him. It was only about a quarter-mile to the farm, so it wasn't long at all before Melody began to slow to a canter, then to a trot, then to a walk, and finally stopped in front of the farm.

Hopping off, and handing his steed a piece of pokemon food, he headed into the farm. Coming up to the door, he knocked three times, gingerly. ...No answer. He tried the door, but to no avail. He looked at his Pokegear, checking the time. "12:14." They must be out on lunch. I think I'll just grab something myself in Olivine." Heading back to Melody, he mounted swiftly, and they headed into the large seaside city.

Candle and his Slowpoke walked through the dense undergrowth.

Not 'dense' persay. But, the grass was awfully tall to be... grass. Candle sighed, brushing his hair behind his ear, the greenery was already doing a fine job at obstructing his sight. Dona lagged behind the boy, swaying from side to side with each step he had. As long as he could keep his trainer's scent intact with his nose, he was going to be fine.

"Scoot over little bugs,"Candle said loudly, trying his best not to step on any of the Wurmple or Caterpie on the ground, last thing he needed was roadkill on his foot.

The bug pokemon cocked their heads, jumping out of the way of the mysterious giant and his Slowpoke. {Candle-person. How far is this Bark of New you speak of..?}the pink pokemon moaned in his low voice, already beginning to take hurried deep breaths. He was tiring out fast.

"Already complaining, eh?"the boy answered, laughing impishly as the water type frowned.

"Just a bit more, don't think we're far now. 'Haps a few more minutes,"he added, spotting another one of those road signs. But, road signs also meant,

"A road!"Candle smiled, releasing himself from the flurry of green and entering the brown, dirt road. Not to far in the distance- He had to shield his eyes from the Sun to see- there lay a small, quaint looking town.

{Th-Thank Feebas..}Dona's tougue was hanging out of his mouth, as he leaned against the sturdy legs of his owner. Candle was about to concur with that statement, only to be interrupted by a loud, buzzing noise. Followed by the sound of rushing wind, a pair of very fast wings, most likely. The boy whimpered as the volume of the noise grew louder, the thing creating it drawing nearer and nearer.

"Oh, cra-"the trainer had no chance to finish his sentence. A swarm of Beedrill swooping down from the treetops. The biggest and most muscular one[probably the leader] narrowed its eyes, as if studying the boy and his pokemon.

{Charge, troops. Charge like you've never charged before, my troops!!!}after a second or two, the bee buzzed loudly, swinging a needle arm back and forth to signal the direction of their movement.

The young male had no idea of Beedrill speech patterns, but, he more or less knew what they were planning to do. Without another word, he grabbed Dona's front paw, dashing off as fast as he could. The entire fleet of bug types chasing after.

<'You don't think we're getting closer?'> Sellili was asking me as she did flips and turns in midair, <'We've been walking for a really loooong time!'>

"I've, been walking for a really long time." I corrected her, pointing out the fact that she had no feet, and hadn't taken a single step in her entire life. Selili pouted and floated around me, before a wild grin spread across her face. She darted high into the air and cried, <I see it, I see it! ....It's kind of hard to miss!'>

Sweatdropping, I nodded, showing I'd heard her, and Selili rushed ahead, bouncing up and down from seeing a less traditional place for the first time in her life. Sure wherever she'd lived in Hoenn before the peddler caught her probably wasn't as traditional as Ecruteak, but she always told me, that she couldn't remember anything from Hoenn, and that it was just too much work to try to remember. I sped up slightly, so that I wouldn't lose Selili, who was having fun cartwheeling and spinning around in the air like always.

Saving up each year had been hard, but I'd had to resist the candy, the stuffed animals, the brand new tarot cards, the metal tarot cards, and the crystal orb, just so I could buy the stupid pokegear around my neck. That reminded me! I pulled the sling bag off my shoulder and sifted around for my Tarot Cards. Pulling out an entirely random card and putting the grey bag over my head on onto my shoulder again, I glanced at the Tarot Card I'd pulled out. Blinking down at the card, I sweatdropped and wondered if it was a bad idea to go on a journey. I couldn't believe I'd pulled out the fool! I thought at least maybe the king, or the high priestess, but the fool?!

<'Ta-da! Welcome to Goldenrod City, please watch your step and try not to become this weeks pokemon accident!'> Selili cried into the air, rushing over the busy crowd and bobbing up and down, waiting for me.

"Well....fool or not, here's to the first journey!" I said putting the tarot card back where it needed to be, and plunging into the river of people trying to get here or there.

"Ok, let's stop by this tree, shall we? I don't think I can go any farther with this back back on..." I sighed and sulked over to the tree while Blair followed behind, chanting to herself. Once I sat down I took of the backpack and began to dig for some sitrus berries of Blair and me to snack on. Blair didn't seem the least bit hungry or tired while she towered over me with a disapproving look. <You're not giving up already are you? I've still got 10 more miles left in me! We can't stop now!>

"Well, maybe you should carry the backpack. You're more energetic than I am." I retorted, peeling off the orage peels of the berry. At times, I begin to think that maybe I'm not worthy enough to have Blair as one of my Pokemon. She was more energetic and outgoing than I was, and always showed what was on her mind. But then again, opposites attract. Blair puffed up a bit and sat down besides me looking towards the way of the road in a flustered way.

<I'll carry the backpack if we can start going now.> She said as I handed her a sitrus berry. I smiled at her and gave her a hug. "You're the best Blair~"
<Tell me something I don't know. This is a whole lot better than taking care of sick Pokemon.> She was right. At about this time I would be sweeping a floor or making potions. Out on the open road, there was nothing that needed to be done.

"Blair, do you think that Nurse Joy is alright with us gone?" I questioned, just finishing up my berry. <Of course she is, she's got six other Chansey's on the job, you know.> Blair reassured me. As if she had read my mind, Blair added, <Well, I'm sure she'll have some holes to fill, we were irreplaceable you know!> Still, I worried for her and gave a silent wish that she'd be alright.

When Blair had finished her berry, she heaved the backpack onto her back and began to head down the path ahead of me. <Come on you Slowpoke! If you don't hurry up, we'll be there after dusk!> She growled back as she skipped along the path. Spraying a bit of repel on my clothes, ( I wasn't in a mood to encounter any Pokemon yet) I happily trailed after her with a burden off my back.

Gah, Candle's headed the wrong way! ;;.;; *tries to come up with a fast plan*

Ic-

"Don't- they - ever - get - tired- ?"Candle screeched between breaths, trying his best not to cough his lungs out anytime soon. The piece of extra weight he was pulling along wasn't helping at all either.

{R-Run! They be gaining on us!}Dona yelled, closing his eyes once he was done, he would've gotten a good sleep at a time let this, if not for the fact that they had a swarm of Beedrill chasing them.

"Try running yourself!"the boy shouted, realising that now, he was running all the way back towards Cherrygrove.

The little town could be seen, but, not only that. A sparkle of blue at the edge of Cherrygrove caused Candle to instantely brighten up. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea calling Dona out after all.

--

"Outta the way! Outta the way! Precious life at stake here!!!"Candle cried out shrilly, running through the town as fast as he could, 'never-minding' the stares and odd looks, his own eyes glued on the huge amount of sea no too far off.

"Dona, get ready to swim."he told the Slowpoke he was dragging along, who nodded politely, his tired eyes suddenly replaced with a determined fire.

"- Very fast"the boy added, as both trainer and pokemon drew near to the sea, the dopey pokemon running ahead and splashing into the water. Candle jumped onto Dona's back soon after, sticking his tougue out at the Beedrill swarm.

"Asta la vista, you big ol' bugs!"the boy called out impishly as his Slowpoke utilised his Surf attack, speeding off into the sea.

The leader of the Beedrill frowned, unsatisfied with this outcome.

{Fleet! Positions forward!}he ordered, his two needle-for-arms glowing as they readied for a Pin Missile attack, the rest of his swarm following suit.

{Fire at will!}

Candle clung onto his Slowpoke's pelt as hard as he could, hoping that all the pins flinging towards them at that very moment would miss. He yelped as he felt some sharp ends shooting pass him, small rips and cuts in his jacket.

"Ah!! T-This was my favourite one, too!"the boy sounded like he was on the verge of tears, taking off the jacket and examining it closely, ignoring the Beedrill leader and his shaking 'fist'. The whole swarm growing smaller and smaller as Dona helped to distance them.

{Where to now, Candle-person?}the Slowpoke asked eagerly, he was wide awake now, probably because he was in his finest element- Water.

"Um, whichever city that doesn't have a forest or Beedrill. Perhaps, Goldenrod? I hear that it's pretty near here. If you speed up a bit, of course."Candle said absent-mindely, still caught up with surveying his article of clothing.

{Aye-Aye! Capy-tain!}

I know it's a bit late, but could I join? I'll edit this post with my form..

DS

EDIT

Name: William Shyndow

Age: 13

Pokémon: Charmader

Final Team: Charizard, Golduck, Tyranitar, Machamp, Snorlax, Nidoking

Legendary: Zapdos

Personality: William is smart, there's no question about it. His intelligence far outstrips even the most well known and effective psychologists, sending them babbling incoherently back to their own clinics. His brain is so large, that it seems his head is too small to fit the brain. The one downside about being so smart, is that his social skills suffer. He cannot get on with somene who is stupider than he is without scaring them out of their skin. His very vocabulary is enough to send any normal person running for his or her life. He will never listen to other people's opinions, believing his to be the only solution. However, they often are. He has the ability to close his eyes, and remove his mind from his body, oblivivous of the surroundings, to contemplate on a situation, and come up with an effective plan to get out of it. However, it is never he who is made to do the plan, but someone with alittle more physical strength, and life's experiences. However, he has saved pleanty of lives like this, and employs this tactic while battling with his Charmander.

Appearance: William has dark hair, which falls in front of his face. The hair is often combed neatly to one side, so that his vision is not distorted. His eyes are a ghastly blue in colour, radiating intelligence out of them. His smile is so scary to look at, that people often believe that he is a vampire, which is hard not to believe, when yo look at his bleached skin, and evil-looking smile, enough to send shivers down anybody's spine. His body is pathetically weak, and devoid of any muscle whatsoever. This is why he must always have someone strong around him, and in most cases it is his Charmander. He wears nothing but the finest two piece suits, made for navy-blue material, and tailored by some o the world's most famous companies, to fit. Even his watch, is custom made, showing the time of three diferent places all on one screen, a calculator, a temperature reader, and live satelite feed into whatever location he currently is, maing it impossible or him to get lost. His shoes are made from leather, black and shiny from constant polishing by his maids and manservants.

History: William has never known how it feels to be hungry, poor, or, for that matter, uncomfortable. His entire life has been spent in luxury, as his family is one of the top five richest families in Johto. His house is more like a mansion than anything. White marble everywhere, and servants running around, picking after him. But despite thhis richness, and his obvious adult-like intelligence, he still has that child-like belief in magic, and the supernatural. On one of hisinternet trawls, he picked up wind of the legend. Reading all that there was on that particular page, he ran a search on a search engine, and found a string of at least fifteen links about the legend. He narrowed it down to five, as the other ten were completely useless. He read all he could aout the legends, finding it fascinating to even read about. Thinking carefully about al of his options, he picked up his fellow partner Charmander, and went off, looking for more information on the legend. He can call the mansion anytime he wants, calling for backup, and within one hour, a helicopter shall be hovering overhead, dropping down trained fighters. He is never truly alone.

Holy crap!

I stared in wonder at the room in front of me, and just could not believe it. I had never imagined that the Tower would have such difficult obstacles to pass. I looked around at the floor, taking in its dangers. The obvious, and first danger would be the walls of Plasmatium that are trying to kill me. Although at first sight, the walls seem to be jutting out randomly, nothing can actually be completely random, unless there is a human being behind a control panel, making it. Otherwise, whatever mechanical thing was making the walls jut out definitely had to repeat itself once in a while, even if it took ages to do so. The safest thing to do would be to wait for it, and see when the walls jutted out, but that would take too much time. I had to think of another way.

I looked beyond the jutting out pillars, and swore. Even if I did manage to see when the pillars came out, I would just fall down onto a ramp of ice, which would take me down into a pit, where I would be subject to a landslide, and later be cut to pieces by Cutterbots, that was, if I survived the pillars, the freezing ice, and the landslide. This would take all of the energy from me and my Pokémon. Only brain power could help here. This was one place where brute force would not be of any help at all. Now I really wished that I hadn’t gotten out of bed.

Well, Arcanine would be the best for this situation, but I’ll have to keep Aerodactyl at the ready, before I slide down the ice. I slowly plucked Arcanine’s poké-ball from my belt, and held it out in front of me, surveying it with concentrated eyes. I threw it into the air, where it snapped open, flooding the vicinity in a white light, and revealing my Arcanine.

His canine structure was now more prominent than ever, as his eyes darted around, his nose twitched, and his ears swivelled to take in all of the details of the Tower of One Hundred Challenges. For the first time ever, I saw a hint of fear flicker across his face, but he quickly covered that emotion, and looked up at me, with understanding eyes. His soft orange and black fur stood hackled around his neck, while his yellow teeth were bared. He planted his feet wide, and held his ground as I quickly explained to him what my idea was.

“See these pillars that seem to randomly strike each other from each side of the wall? Well, the quickest way to get past them would be to evade them, and even though there is a slight space at the top, I doubt that Aerodactyl would fit, so you would be the obvious choice. Now, I know that with me on your back, I’ll slow you down, but I need to get across, so move as fast as you can. I’ll take it from there, once you’ve made it across,” I quietly whispered, stroking Arcanine’s fur.

He gave a gruff nod, and bent his hind legs, so that I could climb up on his back. I sat on the shoulder blades, just in front of his fore legs. Although his is not the customary seating on an Arcanine, my Arcanine told me that it was the most comfortable on him, so I agreed to it. I placed my legs around his breast, interlocking my feet together, but trying not to squeeze too hard. I bent over, pushing my face into Arcanine’s soft mane, and squeezing him with me knees to tell him that I was ready.

He stood in one spot for a while, seeming to wait for the right moment. But after standing there for almost fifteen minutes, I was about to sit up straight an ask him what he was doing, and as I did, he bound forward. I quickly grasped his fur with my hands, and held on tightly as we charged forward. I felt a rush of air as one of the pillars slammed the opposite wall from behind us, and Arcanine and I were tossed forward in a heap. Arcanine quickly rose up, and continued. This process happened several numbers of times, until suddenly, we were too slow, and the pillar slammed into the wall, ahead of us, trapping us off. And we were right in the path of another pillar, and it was coming on fast.

I had no other choice.

“Go, Kangaskhan!”

I threw another poké-ball into the way of the onward-coming pillar, and it once again, erupted in an iridescent light, that slowly took the form of my Kangaskhan. Kangaskhan stood tall and strong as it roared a menacing roar, while the baby Kangaskhan in its pouch squeaked in unison. The one thing that I liked about Kangaskhan was that I never needed to tell him what to do. He would just asses the situation, and immediately act. His eyes scanned over me, Arcanine, and the oncoming pillar, and his eyes glinted in recognition.

He closed his eyes, facing the pillar, and pushing his hands out in front of him, while Arcanine and I squeezed against the other pillar in front of us, trying to make it open. However, Arcanine was trained for speed, and not for strength, and we could not do it. But we were now not in Kangaskhan’s way. The pillar flew forward, and Kangaskhan took the full force of it, while its baby squealed form inside its pouch. The pillar continued to move, pushing Kangaskhan with it, but he was determined to stop it. He planted his feet wide and firm, and tried to dig his claws into the metallic flooring. The pillar considerably slowed down, but it would still crush Kangaskhan if it reached the wall.

I then knew what I had to do.

Closing my eyes, I summoned upon the power that my suit had granted me. Yelling out the triple-syllable word, “LIVEWIRE”, I held my hands out in front of me, willing for my powers to work. For a split-second I felt a fleeting sensation of let-down, but I concentrated even harder, and I felt the familiar sensation of clutching my whip. I brought my hands down, allowing the whip to come into contact with the wall in front of me. The imagination of having Kangaskhan being crushed was sickening, and it spurred me to work faster, and so I did. I let loose the charge of electricity that completely covered the pillar, and sent the currents waving through it. The power of the electrical whip was enough to short-circuit the pillar, and it became loose enough for Arcanine and I to push it open.

Quickly recalling Kangaskhan, and Arcanine, the sudden wind rush from the pillar that Kangaskhan had previously been holding when it hit the wall was deafening, and I was sent careening down towards the crumbling floor. I landed on the metallic bit, just in front of the floor, and swore loudly, as I saw the gap extending towards me. I couldn't think right, as I saw the gap, extedning closer nad closer towards me, making. I began to shiver, as I though about falling down that gap, and my mind began to race. There was only one way I would be able to get myself out of this mess, and that was by using stretegy. And I knew just how to do it.

"Go, Onix!"

The poké-ball slipped form my fingers, and rolled down towards the gap. Looking horrified, I begged and pleaded with all my might for Onix to appear. Seconds before falling down into the pit, he ball snapped open, and I heard a powerful roar emit from it, as a bright white light appeared, to create Onix. Onix's hard body glinted in the little light that was available on this particular floor. He looked at me, his black eyes shinging with intelligence, something that one doesn't often see in an Onix's face. However, my Onix was bred, and trained to perfection, and therefore, would be able to be smarter than an average Onix. I needed smartness from a strong and long Pokémon right now, and Onix fit the bill.

"Listen, Onix. You see the crumbling floor? If I fall down that, it's bye, bye Sam. I need you to stretch across as far as you can, and touch the other end, while still keeping your tail here, so that I can climb over. I promise that you won't get hurt, okay?" I asked.

Onix nodded in recognition, and whipped his tail around the short-circuited pillar, and lashed out his head, across the gorge. For a split second, I thought that he would make it, but all of a sudden, he stopped. His body was stretched out as far as it could reach, but the floor was too far away. I swore, and pulled out Aerodactyl's poké-ball, flining it into the air. Quickly, Arodactyle made his appearance, released from his confinement, and landed next to me. With a quick look at me, he wondered if I should get onto his back, but I knew that form up there, the Plasmatium Cutterbots would be able to get me, instead, I decieded for a little unorthodox movement.

"Aerodactyl, fly over to Onix, and grab his face with your talons. Then stretch your face out to the floor in front of you," I commanded, in a quick whisper, now understanding how close I was to failig my first floor.

Following my commands, Aerodactyl opened his magestic wings, and flapped, three times, gaining a lot of altitude. He then folded them back, and dived down to Onix, as if Onix was his prey, and grabbed Onix's nose, much to the large rock snake's displeasure. He then grabbed hold of the opposite wall with his teeth, and grunted in readiness.

I quickly scalled Onix, as his rocks were easy to climb, but Aerodactyl was a different matter. Howevr, I soon amde it across, and recalling the two Pkémon, made my way onto the ice ramp. I was about to carefully make my way down, when suddenly, the ice beenath me felt slippery, and I slipped, falling down onto my backside. I recalled Onix and Aerodactyle from over my shoulder, and got ready. It was time for the big artillery.

I place my fingers on the ice, and dug them in, summoning all of the energy that I had left. Keeping my mind focussed, I yelled out the two words that I had not heard in three years. “TECTONIC SHIFT!”, pulling apart the ground beneath me. I had five seconds to complete what I intended. Five…The earth began to crumble down as the crack made its way along the ice, further towards the wall that held back the sand. Four…The crack reached the metal platform where the landslide would take place. Three…two…one…The crack touched the metallic barrier, holding back the sand, and the barrier broke, sending the sand down. Fortunately, my time was up, and the crack closed. I landed face first, on the soft sand, panting.

Suddenly, Cutterbots rose up from the sand, and began to spin around at a high RPM, whipping up one massive sandstorm. I had only one Pokémon that could destroy these Plasmatium Cutterbots, and still come out alive. Quickly calling upon Butterfree, I released the little butterfly from her poké-ball. True, Butterfree would not seem like the ideal Pokémon to destroy these Cutterbots, but Butterfree worked on more than just brute force. Quickly responding to my command, Butterfree flew high in the sky, and above the sandstorm. Seeing the Butterfree, two of the four Cutterbots rose up from the sandstorm, and began to chase Butterfree around. It wasnow a fully fledged dog fight. Quicklycalling out directions for Butterfree to fly, she managed to evade the Cutterbots, but she would soon get tired, while the Cutterbots would manage to keep on going. One more command, that's all. Butterfree stood still, with the Cutterbots on either side. They spun quickly, and flew towards Butterfree. Seconds from the impact, she flew upwards, and the Cutterbots, who were computer programmed, and didn't haveany instincts, continued flying at each other, and when they hit, they both were cut up into tiny pieces.

"Two down. Two more to go," I muttered.

Butterfree, then flew up high above the sandstorm, and began to scatter a yellow powder downward, into the sandstorm. Although Stun Spore was originally meant to paralyze living things, it was obvious that it had some sort of chemical inside, which would slow down a moving being. Slowly, but steadily, the sandstorm began to reside, and in a couple of minutes, it stopped. I looked at the Cutterbots, and they were weakly spinning in circles in the sand, at such a slow rate, that even a Slowpoke would have been able to move faster.

Returning Butterfree, I exited through the wooden door.

OOC: Oh thanks, I forgot you were editing. ^^; *shot shot shot* Accepted.

IC:Fifteen minutes later, I sat in the window of a small café, sipping on a straw that was slightly stiffened from the smoothie it sat in. I never wanted to see that many people up close again. It was amazing, how nobody in Goldenrod seemed to care about the pick pocketers that were in plain view- in the insanely crowded sidewalks. I saw cars that were at complete standstills, because nobody cared- everyone knew the driver wouldn’t run them over, so they just seemed to walk in front of the cars. I glanced at the clock on the wall, an Azurill clock to be exact. It was 12:00 PM. Lunch hour. Which, I guessed, was why I had had trouble finding a restraunt that wasn’t pack to the outside of it’s doors.

<’Wow. Ecruteak is like a ghost town compared to here.’> Silili commented, pressing her face to the window and staring at passerby’s with big ghostly eyes.

“No pun intended, considering Ecruteak IS a ghost town?” I scoffed, taking another sip of my smoothie, “Not as much as Lavender though. Now that is a place I want to see.” Leaning back on my chair, I imagined Lavender just as my oldest sibling- my brother, had described it. There was a big tower, filled with pokemon graves, each level had 4 feet empty space in between, where the coffins of pokemon would be placed, and those empty spaces were filled with sand, or dirt, where the coffins would be buried. There were many tombstones, scattered in a perfect pattern so you could reach each and every one of them, and along the walls, were larger tombstones, usually statues or benches erected by the more wealthy.

I wished I could see it. He said the place was crawling with ghost pokemon. Just the thought of how many ghost pokemon that could be there…it made me smile at Silili, who madly grinned back. Ghosts were there too, he’d said. Real, live, ghosts! Now I knew that had to be my destination, but I still had to get to Newbark first.

But before that, I had to get to the pokemon center somehow, through all these people. I sighed, and decided to hang out here, at the café, until lunch hour was over.

IC:

Azalea Town had always been a favourite town of William's. He had once visited it with his parents on a trip, and every since then, had taken a liking towards it. What he liked best about it, was its quaint feel. It was not a big city sort of place, but a place where elderly and retired people came to spend the rest of their lives, and young grandchildren came to visit during the summer holidays. And to add to all of that, Azalea town was one of the few places where natural history, met with human nature without either of them getting destroyed. The only other places that William knew like this, were Celadon City in Kanto, and Fortree City in Hoenn. Even so, Celadon was much to much of a big city to William's liking, and Fortree was too widely spread. So, he liked Azalea.

Since Azalea was not a big city, it did not have a five-star hotel. Despite his wealth, William despised hotels, as they were a terror on the environment, and that was something his family took very seriously. So, instead of grumbling about not being able to book a penthuse suite in a hotel, William looked for the next best thing. And to do that, he cancelled out all of the things which he did not think woul be good. Right. Definitely no Pokémon Centres. They're good places to heal your Pokémon, and pikc up a quick bite, but the sleeping facilities there are atrocious. I can't stay at the Inn, because that place is filthier than my gardener, and that's saying something. I could stay with Kurt. Yeah, that's what my parents and I did last time. I hope that he's okay with me staying the night, though. Time for a little consultation.

"So, what do you suggest I do, old friend? Do you think Kurt will let me spendthe night? We will be leaving tomorrow morning anyhow," William directed his question to the small red lizard walking on two legs beside him.

<He did last time, William, what makes you think he won't this time?> asked Charmander, swishing his tail back and forth to scare away a Spinarak who was getting too close.

"Of course, you right. I wasn't thinking straight. I shouldn't have allowed my mind to imagine such things. Come on, lets go," said William, berating himself.

Charmander sighed. He was used to seeing William like this. For all of William's intelligence, he just could not take being wrong. You had once gone on and on, shouting at himself, for allowing an opposing Poliwag to use Water Gun on Charmander, even though they had won that particular match. Charmander knew that there was no winning an argument against William. Several Nobel-Prize winning phsychyatrists had tried, and had failed miserably. No, Charmander had learnt to just follow William around when he got in this mood.

Kurt's house was at the north of Azalea Town, so it would be a good hour before they reached there. Charmander looked around for any stragglng and weak Pokémon to pick on as they went. <Might as well have some fun,> he reasoned

The sun held its position in the middle of the sky as the young trainer and his Slowpoke crossed the ocean.

"Lunch already..?"Candle groaned softly as the light blinded his eyes, opening the pack on his lap. His jacket was missing from his normal attire while his shirt's sleeves were rolled up to the middle of his upper arm, the heat was getting to him.

After a few moments of digging and searching, he managed to pull out a neatly wrapped sandwich and a handful of berries. The boy placed the small fruits on his bag, proceededing to take the translucent wrapping off the bread, biting into it as he threw the plastic into his bag. Conceited as he knew he was, the last thing he wanted to do was to pollute the sea.

" 'Ere' yo' go,"he mumbled with the crust in his mouth, hanging a Pecha berry infront of Dona's mouth, the water type was delighted, taking caution not to snap onto his trainer's fingers as he swallowed the pink snack. The dopey pokemon's smile seemed to widen as another berry of the same type hung out for him, obliging straight away to digest it. Everytime Dona ate a berry, Candle would take a bite out of his sandwich, this so that he could maintain proper balance on the Slowpoke's back.

This routine continued for quite some time, before Dona perked his ears up at the sight of land in the distance.

{That's Goldenrod, isn't it, Candle-person?}he asked eagerly, his tail propelling them faster through the water.

"Darn right it is!"the boy answered confidently, though he sneaked a look at the blue pokegear on his wrist just to make sure.

{Onwards~!!}the Slowpoke sang out, fully refreshed and rejulvinated from the short lunch break they had, quickly speeding off to the city. On his back, his trainer was also interested in the black tower standing out from the rest, keeping all the objects he had bothered to take out as he studied it. Was it the famous Radio Tower?
