What do you want more. Monarch Control with Dark Coffins or Chaos.

The whole thing is going to die...first off, drop the Jar of Greed. There's NO POINT WHATSOEVER having it and making the deck 41 cards. Also, just one Mystic Tomato with only a few monsters you'd want to bring out with it (Sangan and MAYBE the Reapers) is just as worthless.

-1 Mystic Tomato
-1 Jar of Greed
-1 Smashing Ground
+1 Lightning Vortex
+1 DD Assailant (with the Chaos theme)

As far as the side deck goes, I have to admit, I'm surprised to see DD Designator...but Magic jammer & Widespread Ruin need to go.

-1 Magic Jammer
-1 Widespread Ruin
+1 Magic Drain
+1 Sakuretsu Armor

Ok the point of this deck is advantage.... thats what the point is.
Jar of Greed is one of the most underrated cards in the game... want to know why?
ok let me set you up with a little scenerio
I have two face down Spells/Traps.... my opponent has none... the perfect time to use heavy storm in my opponents eyes because it will cause them a +1 so they play it... my face downs- Dark Coffin and a Jar of Greed so i play them both
lets see the advantage i gain
Opponent Played Heavy Storm....distroyed no cards... lost fromDark COffin and had me draw a card...
Ok thats the best case and it happens a lot... here is ANOTHER common play i run into...
I have one face down spell or trap... they Dust or MST. Its Jar of Greed... oh look a +1 ! They loss a card trying to destroy a card and I end up drawing!

and i swear against Lightning Vortex... its SO over-rated... you start off by losing 2 cards no matter what... to gain an equal loss your oppoennt MUST have 2 face up monster... and its a HORRID top draw woith no hand. At least with smashing ground you are guarentted that you can play it and u will gain a 1/1

the tomatoe I think I agree with you... what about switching for a Giant Rat?

and I would rather have Monarch w/o CHaos w/ Dark COffins

1. DaKing23: Ichapokemr may sound rude but he means well. Stick with him for a year. You will understand. ^^

2, Jar of Greed is used at tech most of the times.

3. Lightning Vortex is underrated. Not much use it outside oft he side deck. D;

4. Do you have MSN or Aim if you want to test?

...I'm not TRYING to sound rude...why is everything coming out wrong lately...!?

......Let me try again:

DaKing23, Jar of Greed may SEEM useful, but it just isn't if your deck has more than 40 cards (and isn't even that useful if you have just 40, unless you run Exodia of course). In each of your examples, Jar of Greed was set and activated during your opponent's turn. That means the card you draw can't be used until your next turn and your opponent has the chance to destroy it/you before you have the chance to use it (Reapers, Don, OTKs). Now, if Jar of Greed hadn't been there, then you would have drawn the card you got during YOUR turn, since Jar of Greed wasn't there to keep you from drawing it yet. That means you can get the "advantage" of whatever card it is without worrying if your opponent is going to get rid of it.

Now, about the Dark Coffin thing: you can use that for the trap without losing anything. 3 of those is more than enough to bait every single S/T removal your opponent has. Plus, it doesn't "activate" in the traditional sense, which means not only that Jinzo/Royal Decree don't affect it, but it still goes off if your opponent MSTs it during the turn it is set (see: UDE).

I only suggested LV because it's often better than Smashing Ground with Cyber Dragons & Warriors still around...but I don't know what your meta is like, so if none of those apply to you, then leave the Smashing Ground...but good luck with just one.

Giant Rat wouldn't be any better, since the Momongas are self-replicating. I'm thinking that Mask of Darkness might help you a lot, especially in getting those Dark Coffins back.

*runs into a corner and cry*

DaKing23, have you tested the deck in IRL? Does it work?

what is IRL?

i test it at the place i play and it fairs fine... dont ALWAYS make semis or finals but its beating chaos and its won more than its lost

i decided to remove the Tomatoe for (duh) Treeborn... i am still thinking over the Vortex
