Pokemon Wax...in the making

My game is called Pokemon Worlds
This game will be a whole new world, and it will have Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Orre, and some of my own made pokemon. You Start with one of 3 pokemon (Pichu, Geodude, or Feebas)

Hey i figured it out kinda, but idk, cuz i had to make it really small to post it, hope it works.

I need some help with who my 3 starters should be....

Lotad, seedot, pichu
or
Geodude, pichu, azurril
or
Machop, Ralts, Poochyena
or
3 that i can make up...

So i hope some people give me feed back on that...
and last for this post, does anyone know how to do evolutions?

does any one know how to make it so that, a door will open or sumthin after u hit a switch, or beat a trainer?

Yes, you can have a door set on a switch, so only after you defeat, say, a gym, a door will open. For the gym leader:
<>Message: Darn, you beat me!
<>Switch Operation:[0001:Door Opened]On

And for the door, have page one blank, click "New Page" and check on the left the Switch one and select the switch "Door Opened." The same applies for a switch.

I think that you should have two worlds: One big continent, and then there's a big war or something between Kanto and Johto or whatever and the place gets demolished into lots of islands. That would also add some spice to the story!

Nice idea. but idk i might make my world, and then make the other worlds also, or i will just have my world, and then at one point, a big fire pokemon (like the groudon idea) drys up all the water, and so ill basically copy my map, and make it with out water. but hey well see what i do.

Ooo, maybe when all the water gets sucked out, a whole labrynth of underground tunnels are revealed and you need to explore them and document all the new deep-water pokemon you find!

yeh, thats the layout of it, i dont know what im gonna do bout the water now, since all the fish would die haha, maybe ill make it so that at that point, they are all in the ponds in the under ground caves?

Orre is the region form the new game, pokemon colliseum, i was thinking of making a gameboy version of it.

Sprites look awesome!

That screen was purty good too, but the font looked messed up (it may have been bitmap compression though) and the building in the lower left corner was a little messed up in the roof area. The pokeball image at the top was cut off. Looks good though!

yeh, the sprites are easy for me, and yeh i used the pokecenter roof for the lab because it looks kool, but it also cuts off the circle, think i should fix it to a normal roof? or you think its fien that way?

Yes! Orre rocks! I think Iveper looks a little too much like seviper, but I really like Crudaunt!

Does anyone have a good chipset for Hoenn?, because mine dont have the prof birch lab tiles, or your neighbors house.... so if theres a better one please tell me.

heres a screenshot of one of the legendary pokemon, you wont get to see the others until i put the game out.

It is Posoki, a normal type, that has an odd range of moves that it learns.

In my opinion, it looks more like a hoothoot than something legendary like Ho-oh. Grandeur is essential to making legendaries.

haha yeh, but look at mew and jirachi... they arent to umm yeh...cant find the word...big and scary? , they are pretty misleading, you woulda prolly thot they werent legendary also.

i was gonna make it psychic but theres too many psychic legends

i was in my room making a fighting type, while i thot of making a legendary type, then i thot normal, then i thot a bird that cant fly(penguin) and then i made a legendary penguin pokemon and then drew it on the comp and made it.

ok after my poll is done, i will start a new one asking if posoki should be a legendary or just pokemon.

and i think im gonna take darkmages advice, he cant be a legendary. I mean atleast mew had like grace or sumtin(i think thats the word).

Well, I don't know exactly why I said that. It just seems that Mew is an exception to every rule. I dunno. Anyway, you can make it legendary if you want (The legendary penguin :D), but if you want to you should give it more majesty (grace). That doesn't mean give it a crown, but make it more showy. Just my humble advice.

ah i got better ideas for my legends now, i dont know why i thot something as powerful as a penguin would be good enough lol...

maybe, 3 dragons, psychic, dark, and ghost..... one will be Dragleg, Dragend, and Dragary...or sumtin like that, and they wont just be called dragons like latios, because they are strong, they all will be dragons.

i also have a cave set aside for groudon, and i tihnk one for kyogre too.

proper dragons like rayquaza are the best type of dragon for legendary pokemon because they just ooze power, but i prefer the legendary birds. guess what one of my legendary pokemon is gonna be. *hint* my name *hint*

yeh i am still making my maps, and i tihnk im changing my story for now, and i think that once my games complete, i will make a sequal with bonus stuff.

i would have my maps ready but i had a change of heart, and im making them with a new format, and editing so they looks nicer

i first draw them on paper then i start using paint , and after looking at other real pokemon sprites , i kinda am learning how to make them kinda look like real.

How it comes up in the post is dependent on file type. Convert it to a portable network graphic (png file) to display it as a thumbnail.

umm no, not soon tho. i want to have a good demo not just something thrown together with all these bugs, and stuff, so im not gonna have one until its good enuff, and i dont have much time to work on it so ill say prolly around the beginning of summer or before
