Ooh, nice thread! Where'd my name come from!? Well, "Hikaru" is my favourite character from the Anime "Martian Successor Nadesico" and it was my sister who really stared the "Twin" thing off. Before i really got into the Anime, i didn't know much about it...so i thought i'd do some reseach on the Net and i began by finding out about the characters and looking at some of their Bios. While i was looking at Hikaru's Bio my sister who was near me at the time noticed the pictures of Hikaru and was all pointing at the screen and going "She looks exactly like you and that History teacher of yours! Who's she!?" But that wasn't the end of it, once my friends and the rest of my family found out about my liking for the Anime....they were all agreeing on the similar appearances and some of my friends have started calling me (Hikaru's Twin) bar one who thinks i look a lot more like my History teacher.....but, anyways that's the story of how i got my name. x_x

What you have to do is (what nut would believe this) fly to Cinnibar, where you'll see a guy fall off the gym's roof. Then you talk to him and he'll say,"I want a Pika-Mew." Then you will be at your house in Pallet and a Pika-Mew will be attacking your mom(or something like that) Talk to it and you'll get a chance to battle and catch it. Well I've used the name 'Alita' ever since I got my first Battle Angel Graphic novel back in...2000? Or thereabouts. It became my handle for everything. And given that I'm a gamer, and the gamer community is majority male, and male's are lazy, 'Alita' was soon shortened to 'Liit-a', and then 'Leeter' by my mates.

Then when I got into IRC later that year, the whole '1337/leet' thing was in full swing, and the name 'a1337a' (pronounced alita) came into being.

Jeez, I must've posted this a million times already, lol. So I'm just going to copy and paste from the other similar thread:

Sayuri was a pretty Japanese name that I had originally picked for my friend's fanfic of all the Pokemon characters: Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu. Then he and some other author friends of ours would make cameo appearances because the plot and setting of the fic is a road trip across America once we flew over from Japan, lol. My character was based on Shampoo (Long blue hair...now you know why I have all blue-haired characters in my avatar and such!) from Ranma 1/2. I eventually used that name (Sayuri, not Shampoo!) everywhere I would go on the Internet and used it for my name on my website (which is on hiatus at the moment, lol). The name Sayuri means "little lily", in case any of you were wondering. The "no" means "of" in Japanese, or showing possession like our apostrophe followed by an s. Hoshi means "star", which I got for creating the domain name for my friend that now hosts me. Therefore, you pretty much get a translation of "little lily of the star". Now you know!

Before you say anything, it's NOT because I like the show: CatDog. That has got something to do with it, but I'm not this die hard fan of it. It's actually quite a long story, so here I go:

It started in about October 2003. At this time, school was back in session, and many of my friends were going on this relatively new gizmo called MSN Messenger. After much persuading, I eventually tried to download it, but realised I needed an e-mail address from Microsoft. I went onto Hotmail, and this is where the confusion starts.
When I started up, I originally wanted the address: homersimpson007@hotmail.com
Homer Simpson - My favourite TV Character apart from Patty and Selma (although that would be weird in an e-mail address)
007 - James Bond's secret agent number (I don't know why, I don't even like James Bond)
But then I realised someone had that. I then started to think of a new name, and turned the TV on - to the show CatDog. I started to watch it, then thought of my own cat and dog (in the room with me), and then it just clicked. I have no idea why I added the "Mr" part, but I did, and now I can't change it.
It was then that I found Nintendo of Europe official site (which was actually where I was getting my Pokemon info - how naive of me), and I decided to sign up for the community. To think of a username, I remembered my new username and thought "What the heck" and signed up with the username "Mr Cat Dog". The rest as they say... is history, as I joined: NoE, SPP, BMG, TPM, PC and PWC (all but NoE being vB forums) - all with the same name. :D

Well, mine is kind of obvious, is it not. Well, my first name ever on a forum was Shining Poliwrath. At that time, I was obsessed with my Shining Poliwrath on Crystal. Then, like usual, I got bored of that name. Then, I switched to King Gengar after PokeSchool switched around it's forum. Well, then I realized I loved Water Pokemon a lot. So, I decided that I was the King of Water Pokemon. I was, and am still, obsessed with aquatic Pokemon. My name of Serebii and my forums is Berserk Murkrow. That name is based on an old RP character who had an angry, green Murkrow.
