Ok, to start of this topic:
I'm BartBoys (not the best poster) and you may know me of that pokémon game I was creating in RM2K. You know, the one that used the traditional battle system etc. 5 Months since, and the basics were nearly done (including attacks and type difference). All I had to do yet was putting in lots of pokémon, but that wasn't going to take so long. About one month at max. Anyway: MY COMPUTER GOT HACKED! So all of my work vanished :( I knew I should've made a back-up of the game.

But I learned two things...
1. ALWAYS MAKE BACK-UPS!
2. I now know the 'secret' code of the battle system. Many common events, variables, but it was worth it. I think I can recreate one in two months... So in 2-3 months u can expect a demo. stay tuned for screens and more :)

dude I DIT got hacked. It started of with a *****ing guy in my MSN.. he said: if u dun shut up I'll hack u... well I didn't believe him so I didn't shut up. 5 Minutes later my pc turned black... everything was gone :(

I'll ask one of my friends in school about that. He does some hacking, but all in jest. He's never done anything illegal. He knows all about it though.

So, BartBoys, I'm sorry to hear 'bout that comp. Seems like a lot of people's computers have crashed lately. Onces a mistake, twice a coincidence, thrice a conspiracy. We're at twice right now, with you and dizzy. lol :D

Meerkat, a bunch of other guys, and I are working on a project with the original battle system as well. Remember that guy frostweaver said it was impossible? We're showing him!!!

I've come up with a few of my own little ideas throughout my RPG Maker history...
Why don't I tell you all about my thoughts and achievements in a nutshell, hmm?

Some of my ideas are simply better versions of other people's ideas, such as making day/night into day/evening/night/morning, and adding the concept of time... Some shops closing at 6PM... Church only being open on Sunday... Things like that.

Some of my ideas I've come up with are simple, yet effective, such as making chests that work perfectly fine without the use of switches (or variables).

Other things involve moving NPCs out of the way (ie: Pikachu in Yellow), picking locks, and swiping people's valuables (and actually get in trouble for it).

If there's something for me to do, lemme know, and I'll do my best! ^_^
(I'm studying really hard for an exam right now, though, so progress will be slower than usual)

And hey, if you guys want, I can set up a topic at my forums for this.
You know, so it's less cluttered and you don't have to worry about any rules and regulations and such. lol

You can do some spriting, I think. You can also work on the date/time thing. I'll update the list now.

I've yet to see one in any of the games.
But yeah, that was just an example, not a suggestion. lol

So how can I get a hold of something to work on?
What exactly needs doing?

Oh, and I have an RTP_RT.exe file that I edited last night to have Pokémon-related symbols. So far all I've got is the way-out currency thing (the P with the lines through it) and the é in the word pokémon. (comes as "ké" because the é alone would result in odd blank spaces around the é)
If this comes in handy or if you have a suggestion, lemme know.

I dont think its a virus, but every time i load up my pc, 100+ dial up connection boxes come up and because my computer isn't very fast, I have to close them as they come up otherwise, my computer freezes!

By the way, I'd like to help on the game, but I dont think I can.
