The Pythagora Wand

Alright, as of now no one else can sign-up. Although, the only person that can post a sign-up sheet is Mikachu. If you're not Mikachu then you cannot post because I'm only human and can only take so many people.

Why does Mikachu get to sign-up and not you? Well she PM'ed me and was nice. So there.

That is all.

~Story~

Once upon a time, in a time of the legend of Aaron and Rukario, there was a far away kingdom. This kingdom was blessed with happiness and merriment. Everyday was prosperous - the citizens has their food, the king and queen were benevolent. All was at peace.

One day though, the king and queen were not so benevolent. One of their highest mages, a warlock named Devidan, was accused of doing horrible acts to Pokemon. The warlock made them go through tortuous physical experiments and chemical testing, all for his own knowledge and no permission to do so from the king and queen. For his awful acts toward Pokemon, which all the nobles and the citizens loved, Devidan was banished from the kingdom, never to set foot in the land ever again.

Pokemon and citizens all rejoiced. The evil warlock was banished.

But soon, that would change.

The warlock Devidan got his hand upon the legendary Pythagora Wand. It's power was very unknown, but it was said that whomever laid their hands upon this destructive wand, they would be able to summon any spell they so wish, and it also enhances the magic power of the user. When Devidan touched the wand, he knew that he should use it for his own gain, and get revenge for the people who hurt him the most: that Kingdom of Light.

Followed by a dark and wicked cloud, the warlock overwhelmed the castle guard. It only took a while before Devidan came to throne room, snatching the crown to his glory. For all their punishment, he turned the royal family, the nobles, and the guard into their internal Pokemon spirits, and thus turning them into Pokemon. Devidan kept them in the castle, but even with his tight grip, Princess Vexan escaped in the form of a Ninetails.

Although the crown was his, Devidan did not have the citizens at rest. They all tried to retaliate, but they were devoured in darkness. For their mutinying acts, Devidan went to the villages and gave them the same curse as was put on the castle. Villages left and right were being turned into Pokemon, and most of them stood down, giving into the warlock's power and reign. Luckily, not all of the villages had that fate turned on them.

One village has the Pythagora Wand legend. They say there are gems, known as the Algorithm Gems, that can dilute the wands power. They are supposedly spread across the land, hidden in temples. This village vowed that if ever that warlock came, they would go and find the gems and fight back at the dark Devidan, instead of backing down. And as dark clouds come even closer to the village, this might come sooner then they think.

~Rules~

Okay, hopefully most of you know the rules of the role playing forum, but I'm very picky about these rules:

1. Make each post you make a paragraph each. That also means four lines at least, which ever. Can't think of what to fill in four lines that should be just a one line post? Then your not creative enough! Come on, it's not that hard. Fluff man, fluff.

2. No spam. Of course I'll know who would anyway on the sign-up sheet, but whatever. This means not a lot of OOC posts. But, you know, OOC posts are totally cool and all, just not a lot is all I'm saying.

3. DON'T EVER TYPE YOUR SENTENCES WITHOUT A SPACE AFTER THE PUNCTUATION! I hate this! I will never ever have you join this if you do this. It hurts my eyes, and your eyes must just be scared if you do this. Remember, every time you do this, a Skitty dies. You heard me. Dies. And I'm talking about this, just in case you don't just get it:

GOOD:

Super Sean turned around to the rat king. "I don't know what you intend to do or why you would do it, Jelly, but it seems that your mind is not at ease." Mr. Yie grabbed his head as though it was in pain. "No! Not again!"

BAD!!:

jermey went across the water with lanturn."wow that was great!" said the trainer to his pokemon."lanturn" said the lanturn, as if it didn't know how to talk because this author feels like pokemon can't have a real conversation.the two ran off and played some lame water game.whatever.LOL!

Seriously, do that and I'll find where you live. Holy- I just killed a Skitty because I typed that! NO!!

4. I really will find where you live if you use internet language. I hate that stuff. Why? Because for one it makes anyone who uses it look like they have very poor language skills, and two, I don't know that many. I have to look it up on Google, and then have to find what it means in the context. Go to the Neopets boards if you like that junk so much. Or the 4Kids forums. Not PC.

5. Yeah, this is the last one. On your description for your sign up, don't use the word "emo." It has NO definition. It's one of those words that can mean anything you want it to mean. It's a good strategy for the Bush administration, but not here.

~Sign Up Sheet~

Hey, your almost done reading this dumb thing! Here's the Sign-Up sheet. I put what your supposed to write in the space next to the label. Have fun!

UPDATE! NOT ACCEPTING ANYMORE SIGN-UP'S FROM NOW ON! Unless you're Mikachu, then go ahead.

Name: (Hey, this should be obvious. But hey, be cool and make sure you name doesn't look like someone else's)

Age: (I don't care. Your age of your character. Heck, you could be 80 if all I care. But one thing, make the age a real age. Not 1000 years old or something. That's lame.)

Gender: (Male, Female, and if you want to be kinky, it.)

Social Status: (Are you a local noble or a peon? Choose whatever and stick with it.)

Pokemon Spirit: (This will be what you'll turn into eventually. No legendary pokemon, no made up pokemon. That's it.)

Description: (Make it good, make it long, make it not have the description of a wall.)

Personality: (This is the fun part! Hey, one thing though, if someone is already a loner, make yours not a loner. I hate that kind of character and I can only take one of them in an RPG.)

History: (Another fun one! Don't be lame and fart on this. This makes it so other people can know the person behind the... Mask? Whatever.)

Other: (If you don't know what "other" is, this RPG is not for you. Go away {this is a joke... Heh..}.)

RP Sample: (This is a test to see how well you write in an RPG. I won't tell you how to do this part. It's on your own.)

Hey! It's done! WOO HOO! Have fun. Oh, and here's my Sign-Up sheet:

----------

Name: Säde Christie

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Social Status: Farmer Girl

Pokemon Spirit: Chikorita

Description: Säde wears a light green dress which has a green plaid front. It's not real fancy since it always gets dirty from farming. She wears simple leather shoes and also wears a bracelet that's made of glass. Säde also wears a necklace that has buds on it. She made it when she was little and has always been proud of it. Her hair is a dark green and is in a pony tail, looped in a blue scrunchy. Her eye's are a nice light brown.

Personality: Säde is a little bold, but not harshly so. Everyone kind of thinks of her as the rough farmer girl. Säde thinks of the little people that make the kingdom, probably because she's a farm girl. She is also kind of shy around new people, but when you get to know her better, she opens up. As for Pokemon, she loves them, as do most people. Säde though thinks of Pokemon as people then what most of the villagers think of them as: just used for work. Her and her father always fight about this.

History: Born in the village she still grows up in, Säde was always in the farm. She loves growing plants and she also likes Pokemon. One day though a Tauros got very upset and attacked her when she was little and ever since then she never likes Tauros, though she absolutely loves Miltank. Säde' birthday is coming up, and her family says that when she turns 18 that she'll be wed to another man named Baethan. She doesn't like him and never will.

Other: She owns a pet Growlithe who she's had for many years.

RP Sample:

Säde walked the streets of her village. It was at night; the stars were out, the wind was cold. All the while as she walked the streets, she could tell that among the people there, they all had fear in their faces, fear that they too would fall under the spell of Devidan's evil magic. Some around feared that they would turn into Pokemon and never be turned back. Säde also had this fear in her head, but unlike most of the people she was prepared to turn to her new life.

The farm girl picked up her bread basket that she used to buy bread for and walked over towards the shop. "Hello," said Säde, pushing the green hair that hung in her face. A round man came over to Säde, took his meaty hands and petted his mustache. "Oh, hello Säde! Did you come for some bread?"

"Uh, yes," said the farm girl. "It's been a good batch so far."

"I suppose so," said Säde. She took a few rolls and a loaf. The farmer looked back at the store owner and asked, "How do you feel about what's been going on?"

Of course the store manager knew she meant Devidan's ruling. "Well... I won't say that I'm happy about it," he whispered. "But I don't know who to tell what I think these days. I hear that Devidan's spies are everywhere..."

Säde agreed and she left the store. Outside she looked over and saw her future husband Baethan, who was standing next to his fat black stallion.

"Maybe he won't see me," thought Säde as she zoomed by. But it was too late.

"Ah, Säde!" said Baethan, as he came over toward the farm girl.

Beathan's face was quite handsome. Nicely curled hair was pouffy on the top of Baethan's head. He had large ears, but too large, and his voice was light and neat. He wore a red jacket that was made of a nice velvet and his gloves that he had were brown.

"How are you this evening, Säde?" said the fiancee as he bowed to her.

"I'm fine," said Säde, turning away. "Now go away. I have to get home."

"How many days is it?" said the noble, flaking off his shoulder. "Is it two days from now?" As he said that, Säde stopped in the street. "Ah yes. Two days until your 18th birthday. Yes... Then I can be closer to you."

Säde turned to her future husband and told him, "Yes, it is two more days! And I'll love every minute until then! I'll never like you... never will..." As she glared at him, Säde turned and left towards home, to her father who was at the moment tending to the fields. With none of the two knowing what was happening in the far mountains.

Name: Knepen Älvan

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Social Status: Local Thief (and underground peasant)

Pokemon Spirit: Meowth

Description: His hair, its color being a light brown, is a bit long (as in chin-length), and sticks out due to thickness and volume. His eyes are of a dark gray, and he has a rather dirty face. Compared to his true age, Knepen appears to be only 14. This is mostly a result of not getting enough nuitrition. He wears a dark gray blouse with 3/4 sleeves, though the sleeves appear longer on him since the shirt itself is a size 12. His pants are dark brown and made of fleece, ripped and shred at the ankles. His feet are normally bare, thus giving way to calices.

Personality: Due to his nature as a thief, Knepen has always had a knack for being rude, cocky, and just plain stubborn. He's normally seen crouching or, well, running away with something in his grubby hands. He won't let anyone touch his hair (even if it's fun to touch fuzzeh hair) and can't stand showers or rain. He will, however, swim when he wants to. Knepen's always had a rather angry, or uneasy air around him...Though when he gets angry, it's rather funny. (Not that he thinks it is.) Knepen also blushes easily, especially when complimented or given something. He also tends to look through other people's windows to see what they're up to, if he knows them or finds them interesting. Although he noses around other people's houses a lot, he will NEVER go into a nobleman's house.

History: This little peasant boy used to have a caring Noble family with plenty money to live off of, until his mother passed away because of an incurable condition. After the mother's death, the father lost his sanity and started acting as if Knepen were a monster. This all happened as Knepen just turned 10, and on his eleventh birthday, his father was taken away by...men in white suits. (Go figure. >>;)
Knepen tried to take care of the house himself, but eventually failed. He deserted the manor he lived in and made a new home in a warehouse, formerly a family-owned pharmacy.
Like a cat would, Knepen tends to steal fish from delis and milk from farms.

Other: The warehouse he lives in is full of cat-type Pokémon and Ghastly. He also has one Ghastly that normally follows him around. The Ghastly doesn't have a name, but Knepen normally calls him "Noisy" and he responds to that.
(I'll be typing in "this text" when the Ghastly speaks. I don't like the parentheses when it comes to Pokémon speaking.)

RP Sample:
"Little pest! Get out of my store!"
A work glove went flying from an open doorway, having been ducked by a boy with many dead and already gutted fish in his arms. He hurried out the door, toting his grace as an unusually small Ghastly tailed him.

The boy wore a half-moon grin as if he were a cheshire cat, passing through the empty streets. "This'll be enough for two nights on me and fifteen other cats!" He cackled to himself in a metallic tone.
"Really, the whole 'Fresh Fish' spiel is bogus. They're obviously not raw." The Ghastly complained, eyeing the fish. Knepen would glance back to the Pokémon and then back, trying not to appear intentive to his companion.
"What? Man, you talk too much. Who cares if they aren't fresh? It's food!"
"O Contraire. You speak more than I ever do."
They both swiveled into an alleyway, underneath a high-built fence, and straight into a not-so empty warehouse.

Upon entering, the boy would call out a simple "Hey, we're back," and stepped up to the center of the main hall, and dropped the fish into the tureen there on the ground.
As if by trigger, the resident cat-type Pokémon would jump from their hiding spots and scamper to the large dish. This slew of cats included Skitties, Delcatties, Persians, and Meowth. The whole warehouse itself was like a motel for cats and ghost-types.

Knepen's next goal was to sleep. He headed up the stairs in the northernmost part of the dead pharmacy, which looked to be about ready to break in a month or so. This was actually originally an emergency exit. The door had been removed and lay on the side, leaving the stair well open to the landing on the rooftop. There, he would lay down on the cold cement roof and stare out into the distance.

Across from the old pharmacy, separated by a segway in the road, was a farm which Knepen liked to watch sometimes. He knew there was a person, female probably, that normally showed up and walked into the farmhouse, or left and walked past the warehouse, on a rotating schedule.
He waited for the girl to walk into her place silently, then fell quickly to sleep.

IC:Name: Oraith Kenish

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Social Status: Training Bishop

Pokemon Spirit: Jolteon

Description: He is what anyone would expect for a Bishop to look like, Tall, Dressed in traditional holy clothes. But not this one. Oraith's hair is a silver, almost the color of metal. This earns him the name of metal head from local's. He tries to ignore this, Bishop's have strong will's right? With spikey metal color hair, Oraith wears a dark shirt with strange markings of a spell. He tries not to talk about this much, because no one knows what the spell means, not even him. Oraith recived the shirt from his father. Oraith's eyes are Dark Emerald.

He wears a sort of Cuff-link just above his wrist. It also has markings, but people who are strong in the area of holy magic know what it means. It talks of Barriers, people being changed into pokemon by a sort of evil far too great for comprehension. Most local's say Oraith has come from the future and has intended to give them warning of whats coming. This is possible, but not known for sure. His pants are grey, and have cuts on parts of the legs.
Oraith's shoes are split in the middle of white and black.

Personality: Oraith gives Adamant a whole new meaning. He never wants to give up in a fight. Even when hes down, and hurt badly. His shoes are said to give him faster running powers, but no one knows for sure. Oraith is serious when he has to be, and is barely shy. He's very interested in the art of healing and protecting spells, much like a Bishop. He does things without thinking alot. Which almost gets him killed.

He isn't a fan of romance. He says it wastes his time with the feelings and the kissing. He would much rather be studying the things around him then being with someone hes fond about. Although he does think differently when hes alone.

History: The whole reason he got interested in being a Bishop is because Oraith's mother got turned into a pokemon spirit. Oraith wants to become so experianced in Holy spells, so he can learn the spell of rejuvination. It allows the user to cast a spell to turn someone into their original form. Oraith got his strange Cuff-link while sleeping. He was dreaming of an evil that turned everyone in its path to pokemon. When he woke up, Oraith felt something slightly wrong with his left wrist. He looked at his left wrist to see a thing with strange markings, glowing in the moonlight. Oraith tried to take it off, but it was stuck. Oraith is pretty brave, for a Bishop.

Other: He always carries a book around on spells. So he can use them in battle. No one can remember all those spells right? The markings on his shirt and on his Cuff-link strangly glow at night. This disturbes someone sleeping near him, but it doesn't bother Oraith that much. Oraith will sometimes go out at night and look at the stars, wondering if he will ever learn the spell of rejuvination.

RP Sample: (Pulled from Mutant Wave) Corbin was just a normal kid, walking on a route full of lush green grass and trees. Then he heard it. Screaming and pokemon howling in pain. He looked back to see a red and white wave heading his way with the sound of electricity. "Uh oh..." Corbin said. "This doesint look good magnet." Magnet was his magneton, he was very loyal and a good companion. Corbin started running away, but he tripped on a rock. Magnet tried to save Corbin from the mysterious wave by sheilding him, But it was unsucessful. Corbin felt himself fuse with Magnet. He lost self-counsiousness. When he woke up he could see trees on fire and weird mutant pokemon on the ground. He looked around and saw that he could float! He had a magnetic feeling, like there was electricity surging through him. This is how his journey began to the tournament.

Name: Asahi Ameagari

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Social Status: Mostly Alchemist/Traveler (see "Other")

Pokemon Spirit: Espeon

Description: Asahi's hair is an unkempt mess of various shades of dark brown held up in some form of imitaion ponytail via various hairclips and pins. Due tp an alchemic accident, the equally unkempt bangs that hang in front of his face have been permanently streaked with red. As though in an attempt to help tame his hair, a bandage has been wrapped about Asahi's head several times in a form that resembles a headband. The true purpose of this bandage, however, is to cover Asahi's left, artificial eye. While his right eye is a relatively normal stormy blue, Asahi's left eye is composed of an orangey-red iris without any apparent pupil, surrounded by black eyewhite. A single, circular earring hangs from his right ear, the red stone set in its silver surface said to help protect one in battle. Since Asahi created this particular gem, however, some doubt its effectiveness. A black, hooded cloak is clasped about his neck with a simple ring of steel. In the cloak are numerous pockets and pouches containing several of Asahi's alchemic materials. Asahi's shirt sleeveless and of a simple, solid bluish grey, while his pants are of similar, yet darker shade. While his shirt is somewhat slim, Asahi's pants are rather loose. About his chest, waist, and thighs are bound thick belts of black leather that carry various items--mostly more materials for alchemizing. His boots are rather normal in appearance and solid black. Over his right hand Asahi wears a fingerless glove with bindings emerging from beneath it extending almost to the elbow. Around the base of Asahi's neck is a band of silver with a blue gem set into it in a similar manner to the gem set in the earring. On certain occasions, the gem will transform to red, though Asahi himself has never noticed the change. This item was given to Asahi by his teacher. Most believe it aids him better than the earring. At his side Asahi wears a sheathed dagger, while a bow and quiver of arrows are slung over one shoulder. Overall, Asahi's appearance is a bit ecclectic and odd, though possibly too serious for his personality.

Personality: Asahi is, if nothing else, eccentric. Having seen much of the darkness of life, he often finds it easy to remain positive in most situations since, well, it could be worse. Not to say that Asahi is idiotically optimistic or blind to troubles. But, after nearly being devoured by one's parents (see "History"), most events stop seeming quite so bad. Most people who meet Asahi seem to doubt his mental stability, but this never appeared to bother him much. Despite having spent about a third of his life traveling about and "seeing the world", the other two thirds of his life were spent in virtual isolation. Also, due to the almost constant traveling, Asahi was only granted an opportunity to form a bond with his teacher and never was able familiarize himself with any other people, environments, or the normalcies of life. These experiences have given Asahi an oddly comfortable and cheerful appreciation of isolation as well as a certain naivety when interacting with new people or various situations--even "ordinary" ones. For Asahi, anger is something rather foreign. As of yet, no one has seen Asahi angry, and most who have met him doubt he is capable of such emotions. Though his mind works in rather bizarre ways, Asahi often comes to fairly reasonable conclusions. And, despite being a bit quirky, Asahi usually knows more than he reveals . . . At times because he merely forgets to say something.

History: In accordance with his eccentric personality, Asahi has had a rather bizarre childhood. When he was still young, both of Asahi's parents were transformed into Pokemon. Taking their son and fleeing from the destroyed village, his parents attempted to protect him by raising him in the isolation of the wilderness. Unfortunately, as time passed, his parents began to lose more and more of their human characteristics. Eventually, their carnivorous instincts took control, and they attempted to eat their son. Naturally, Asahi fled. As he escaped, however, one of his mother's attacks struck him, causing him to lose an eye. After continuing to live in the wilderness for a time, Asashi came upon a village. Since his few memories of such establishments were faint and dim, the youth was overwhelmed with curiosity. As the boy wandered about the village, wondering what it and its residents were, an alchemist who was traveling in the area saw him and noticed his missing eye--as well as its lack of proper treatment. While caring for Asahi, the alchemist discovered considerable potential within the youth and took him as an apprentice. Asahi's first creation was a new eye for himself. This fact is rather evident by the eye's unnatural appearance and its odd manner of functioning. While traveling with his master, Asahi saw many things--some wonderful, and others terrible. More than once the travelers came upon a battle or the ruins of a village destroyed by Devidan. On several occasions, they themselves were drawn into battle. During the last of these, the master alchemist was transformed into a Pokemon and taken away by Devidan's troops. After a failed attempt at rescuing his master that resulted in the loss of another body part--a hand--and his master's death, Asahi was forced to flee and began to wander alone, strengthening himself so he could stop the evil that destroyed his parents, his master, and countless others. Using alchemy, Asahi recreated a hand for himself. Fortunately, it functions a little better than his eye.

Other:
Occupation(s) - Due to his curiosity and eager personality, Asahi could never quite limit himself to one occupation. In the end, however, alchemy was where his greatest skills lay. And, after less than a month of training elsewhere, Asahi would always return to it. Mostly, his experience in different occupations provides Asahi with a little knowledge about the occupation rather than actual skill in it.

Skills - Being raised in the wild, characteristics such as stealth, quick thinking, physical strength and agility, and stealth seem to be natural to him. Though he never remained in his weapon training classes long, he kept a few of the weapons and practiced what he could alone. Asahi often uses his self-created potions to enhance his weapons in an attempt to compensate for his lack of formal training. One of his favorite tricks is to alchemize an arrow to increase its accuracy.

Alchemy - While a few of his experiments have ended rather disastrously, Asahi's strength in alchemy lies in his ability to customize from his current knowledge and in his speed of alchemizing. Somehow, the results of Asahi's alchemizing seem a combination of extreme success and pathetic failure with rather little in the middle. Most people who take Asahi's healing potions hope for the success.

Asahi's Eye - Aside from its difference in appearance, Asahi's alchemic eye also has the ability to see through objects and to see energies rather physical forms. This is often helpful while he is alchemizing. Unfortunately, Asahi's eye may be unreliable and will randomly cease functioning--even losing basic vision. With only one eye and a consequential lack of depth perception, plus a blind spot, Asahi may trip or walk into objects. (Since it is able to see through objects, Asahi is able to gaze through the bandage that covers his fake eye.)

Asahi's Hand - By channeling more of his energy into it, Asahi's artificial hand may gain increased strength or speed. For this to work, however, Asahi also needs to draw a seal on the back of his hand using his blood as well as another's. This, combined with the energy required for the technique to actually work, causes Asahi to use it only in emergencies. The vice of the increased abilities of the alchemic hand is that it occasionally falls off . . . Asahi only had one hand to create it with, after all.

Name - "Asahi" means "morning sun." Asahi's parents gave him the name as a symbol of hope for the ending of the current darkness and the coming of the light.

Misc. - Many of the names Asahi has given to his potions are related to the sun.

RP Sample: Writing out Asahi's profile has drained my creativity a bit. So, I used an old RP sample, if it is alright. ^-^;; If not, I will write a sample for Asahi later.

A gentle breeze wafted through the emerald-green valley, rippling in waves across the tall grass and lightly stirring the violet fur of an elegant Pokemon. Standing erect in a posture that revealed both confidence and perfect tranquility, the Pokemon remained fully still. Eyes closed and tail arched gracefully, a scarlet gem on the creature's forehead glistened in a ray of golden sunlight. Currents of air danced about the psychic Pokemon, arraying its shimmering fur in first one manner, then another--as an affection lover tousles the hair of another. About the lavender being there seemed to be a faint aura, similar to that of a spell cast by naught but pure beauty and peace.

The Pokemon's eyes opened. The spell broke.

Turning its glistening, obsidian-dark eyes to a human that stood in the shadow of a tall, thick-trunked oak, a murmured cry purred from the Pokemon's throat. Straightening, the trainer stepped from beneath the tree's canopy into the sun--raising one hand in the same instant to brush aside a strand of dark hair.

"Espeon, did you find it?" When he spoke, the male's voice was low, yet clearly audible; warm, yet colder than a winter's night.

Approaching its trainer, the psychic Pokemon nodded once, affirming, "Esp."

"Then let's go. After a month of tracking, it looks like we finally have lead on Suicune."

Nina-Chan
August 7th, 2006, 03:22 PM
Name: Nina Harimari

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Socal Status: Ninja for Hire

Pokemon Spirit: Sneasel

Discription: Ninja (http://www12.plala.or.jp/c-palette/illust/color/ci22_ninja-girl.jpg)
Her red hair is always up in a ponytail. Her blue eyes seek out every detail. She is skinny and sleek, but stronger than she looks. She wears a black headband with a purple circle symbol on her forehead. Nina always wears sandals. On her hands are black gloves with pokets for holding medicine leaves. She wears black shorts and a black tanktop. Her backpack contains Ninja weapons, food, Medicine, and books. She has a scar on her shoulder.

Personality: Spunky and athletic, Nina is a generally friendly person. She sometimes assasinates, but that doesen't mean she likes those kinds of jobs. Although she seems nieve, Nina is actually very smart. She loves pokemon more than anything, and would put her life on the line to save one. She is also loyal, and quite the romantic.

History: When she was young, she was taken from her parents to train as a ninja with 2 other children. The other children grew up to be cold and anti-socal as a result to no parental love. But Nina loved the training all the way. The training was all she ever needed.

After her training, she immidiatly took up jobs. She got payed very well. She had enough to buy her own small house. But one day, she was robbed. They took everything she had. That was when she relised she needed to not just be strong, but be smart. So she dove into the books.

She never liked assasinating. The first time she did, she ran off crying. Now, whenever she assasinates, she comes back and puts flowers on the person's grave a week after she kills them. She never hurts pokemon, though.

Other: Pokemon: When she was a human, she had a Zangoose. That Zangoose now follows her around.

Weapons: Throwing star, Twin Daggers, Thin sword, Sneasels claws and teeth.

Family: Her Zangoose, her little brother, Zack (a charmander).

RP Sample: Footprints were visable in the powdery soil that once held the tallest trees in the world. Thanks to the nasty weather change, most of the trees in this valley were just stumps, and a few lucky trees were struggling to get enough water, light, and CO2. Dusty thin clouds blocked out the sun in what was now low valley grassland. But what about the footprints? There were 2 kinds...

One was the definite shape of a Houndoom. The large print and the light scrape of the nails. And besides, a few moments before, Nina had heard the cry of a Houndoom. But Houndoom wouldn’t just live here naturally. "There must be a tamer around here..." Nina gave a large smile. "But that means it won't eat me, so I'm safe!"

The other prints were small and had kicked up alot of dust. These footprints belonged to a thief. The thief must have been tired, because the footprints had small spaces in between, and the thief had been walking. Hearing a rustle behind her, Nina tensed up, walljumped off the nearest tree stump, flipped, and landed facing the opposite direction.

Behind her was the thief she had been looking for. "Hey, you’re the criminal I was looking for!" She looked at the girls clothing. "I can’t let you go. Your worth a lot of money." The girl had been observing a girl taming a Houndoom from behind the bushes. "I’m a ninja, and you’re my prey. So come along quietly, so I don’t have to kill you." Nina gave the girl a wink. "Just to let you know, they want you dead or alive…"

Well look here...a decent role play...I usually avoid this section, because of certain people. My compliments for this wonderful role play idea of yours, Skitty-chan. ^^ I am a bit rusty...please bear with me. I will get better as we go along. ^^

Name: Topaz Haidar

Age: Sixteen

Gender: Female

Social Status: Sweet and Quiet Village Girl/Artist

Pokemon Spirit: Skitty

Description: Straight, light blond hair descends down past her slender shoulders to her waist, each strand seeming almost perfect. Her bright blue eyes can catch passerby off guard, for they seem so pure and clean. Topaz's skin is quite fair, a lovely pale that does not seem to be tamped by the sun at all.
Adorning her slim and attractive figure is a light blue long-sleeved dress that stops just above her knees. Dark blue pants rest under, leaving her to wear black boots to pad her feet.
A small crystal hangs from a simple silver chain around her neck, glittering like her eyes when graced by the lighting of the sun as it skims across them.

Personality: A sweet and kind spirit, Topaz is the kind of person you could walk up to, tell your life story and problems, and get thoughtful and kind words, or comfort, in return. Even to people she does not know, Topaz often goes out of her way to help others, even if it is a simple greeting or dazzling smile. But even then Topaz resides to have a bit of a shy nature, and tends to observe things. Which can be a great advantage, to see things from both sides. Caring and gentle, Topaz is not one to get angry easily.

History: Born into a family that was neither rich nor poor, Topaz was raised with love and care. She was admired by her simply beauty, both outside and inside. As the young and gentle Topaz grew, she came to realize she had a gift for drawing. She got along with just about everybody, whether it be a farm girl or a rich man. Her world almost shattered when both of her parents died of a sudden illness. She was taken in by her older cousin, but life was not the same. But Topaz moved on. One would never know, for she always had a smile upon her face, grateful for the here and now, and the graces she had in the past.

Other: Topaz's gentle nature seems to draw Pokemon to her, even the occasional wild one. Though Topaz never had one of her own, she took to watching other people's Pokemon if the need ever arised.

RP Sample: The rain cascaded like thousands and millions of tiny, glittering jewles, capturing the light of the still visible sun. The air became a bit chilly, and Topaz rubbed at her bare arms. It was so beautiful...what a rare thing it was, to be able to see the sun, yet have rain poor down to nourish the earth. But not even the sun could penetrate the darkness that was steadily coming closer and closer to the village...

What a situation they would be in, once the darkness would announce his arrival. Topaz stood in the doorway to her counsin's house, an odd feeling entering her. She felt it, like a tingle going down her spine...no matter what, they could not fight the evil that would come walking along.

But Topaz had faith. They would find a way...she knew it.

More people. And today I'll start the RPG. Probably later though, like after 3:00 PM. I have to clean my den today; I posted because I just wanted to tell people if they got in or not. So let's see...:

Top::Legend: Cool! A Skitty! And a complement... Are you trying to get brownie points? Well it worked. ACCEPTED!

Zaaz111: Hmmm... Well, I have to say, for a guy who wanted me to save a spot, you sure didn't put too much description. And why can't you write your RP sample right then? Busy? Lazy? Because that's what it looked like to me. Looked like you were lazy. I'll put you on PENDING, but only because I'm nice. Fix it up; like write more about your history. Just beef it up a little.

And just to let you know in the future, usually people complete their sign-up's all at once. It makes it look like you care.

Anyway, I'll start the RPG after 3:00 PM. So if you came here and just saw this and were like, "What the-?!" come back after 3:00 and then you'll be like, "Oh! Okay..." ^ _ ^

----------

The night was quiet in the small village that laid in toward the fields. The stars shined and the grass moved in the wind. And in a little house, on the outskirts of the town, was a girl named Säde. She had just come home from shopping in the town for some last minute supplies: Bread, flour, yeast. But since this girl, Säde Christie, lived upon a farm, her parents and her do not need that much.

The farm girl entered the house that she lived in, a nice and cozy place. It was warm, nicely lit, and was always a welcome place. She immediately went into the kitchen, where she placed the food articles she had bought on a table. The kitchen was small, but not too much. In the corner sat the family's single stove, black and stumped. On the wall sat a sink with a water pump on the side. In the middle on the room, of course, was the table where they all ate dinner. But Säde decided not to take too much time on the kitchen and went back to the living room.

There sat Säde's father. He was old, but not too old. Wrinkles began to take a hold of his face, he eyes were little, but in a loving way. In his mouth was a pipe and he puffed on it.

"Säde," said the man in the chair, "I see you're back from the town. Did you get the supplies?"

"I sure did," said Säde. She sat down herself, next to her father.

The room went silent for a while. They both, the father and daughter, stared at the flames that were in the fire place. They knew what was coming.

Säde's father talked in a serious tone. "They're coming, you know, Säde. No one can stop him. They say madness runs through his veins, and no one can stop a man in madness." He stuck his pipe in his mouth again, taking another puff or two.

"But the legend," said Säde. "Someone should find them. That will stop him."

The silence came again. "Your mother," said the father, taking the pipe out, "she is worried. She has been in her room all day, awaiting her fate."

Säde stood up. "I don't get it. If we get turned into Pokémon, why can't we fight them; over power them?"

"Humans know how to break a Pokémon. They know how to make them do their bidding, how to make them listen," said the father staring at his daughter. "Now, let's just relax."

Säde sat back down, staring at the fire. The father put his pipe in his mouth.

"Let's wait for them to come."

Nina landed with a soft "Thump!" on the ground. Her Zangoose jumped off the building Nina had been on and sat next to her.

"Zanoooooo..."

Nina looked at her friend. She bent down and smiled at him. "It's ok, I know you're tired. I'll carry you." She picked him up and he climbed on her back. She procided walking, giving the Zangoose a piggy-back ride, while the Zangoose was also sitting on her backpack.

She rounded a corner and climbed in an open window. Their was already a light on inside. "Oww!" Nina exclaimed. She picked up the Shurkin she had stepped on. "I'm really disorginized..." The Zangoose looked up at her, for he had jumped on the ground not long after the screemed. His brow was furrowed.

"Zuuuu?"

She ruffled his ears. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."

She opened her backpack. Inside was a bloody Kunai (ninja knife). The Zangoose now understood what was bothering his friend.

"Zan?"

Nina looked at him. "Yeah. Another assasination. It wasen't pretty, ether. He was resisting." She felt tears come to her eyes. "His pokemon was defeanding him... I managed to kill the guy, but... I had to knock out the pokemon..." Nina rubbed her eyes. "I think it'll be ok, though."

The Zangoose tugged on her shorts. Nina blinked. "Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me! I heard some news... some dumb kids were gabbing in an allyway." The zangoose looked worried. Was it time already? Nina nodded at him. "Our suspisions were correct. The locals all say Devidan is coming." But Nina, somehow, diden't look all that worried.

"Hey, I wonder what pokemon I'll turn into? Hahahaha..." But the Zangoose gave her a warning look. Nina sighed. "I'm sorry. I sould be worried. But to tell you the turth, I'm not. I don't really care." She picked up a katana Lying on the floor. "Whatever happens, we can overcome it." She picked him up and made a fist with the other hand. "Living... just being happy... in whatever way we can."

"Ouch!" Asahi rubbed his forehead lightly, his face twisting into some sort of odd expression that evinced faint, somewhat childish displeasure. Stepping back from the tree he had recently walked into, the alchemist murmured, "Of all times for my eye to give out . . . " He sighed. "Not that the dark night is helping either." Falling silent, Asahi's face faded into thoughtful worry as he lowered his gaze toward the ground. The tension in the air was almost thick enough to taste, while the seemingly peaceful lack of noise merely added to the unease. During the day, murmurs had filled the village--rumors of the arrival of Devidan's troops that night. Now, the village had as much noise as an abandoned graveyard, as though the disaster had already passed through.

Moving his hand down from his forehead, Asahi gently touched the bandage that covered his artificial eye. Standing now at the village's edge, he somehow felt he stood at the end of something significant, though what it was he was unsure. Whatever it was, a battle was drawing steadily nearer. And, though lacking in bitterness or malice, Asahi felt a strange anticipation for the event to come. Lowering his hand to his side, he took a last, long look at the darkened village. Ever since that day, I've told myself I would get stronger. Time to see how much I've improved.

"Before Devidan arrives, I'll need to prepare," Asahi murmured. "I think the enemy may be in for a surprise . . . Who knows. Maybe I'll even surprise myself." A slight smile crossed Asahi's features as he turned away from the village.

"Ouch!" Didn't realize there was another tree there.

Knepen himself remembered when the pharmacy was still in business. The village had been larger then, and he was still under the care of both his parents. The family that owned the store were friends of the Älvans and they would always pay them visits. The family had no children, so he would have normally went up to lounge around on the rooftop. He would hear them speaking in soft voices down below, joking and laughing as any friends would. Occasionally, he would see the child of the farm across the road and wonder if she could be his friend.

The changes ran through his head over and over again as the cats and ghost-types down inside the warehouse conversed in sweet cooing voices. Across the street, he would hear brief mumbles. In reality, nothing was too different from before. Only by the sounds of his closest friend, the one he called “Noisy”, would he awaken and listen.

Everyone seemed to always be speaking of some calamity coming, or a legend, all in which he found no interest whatsoever. The deep rumbling of the Noisy one’s voice foreshadowed unease and worry. Within the Pokémons’ squabbling, he heard mild mentions of his self. The noise picked up in a dispute, then calmed down as “Noisy” threw in his own two cents.

Come to think of it, Knepen thought superficially, I have been seeing dark clouds in the sky, maybe too much lately. The thought stirred in his head awhile before fading with his consciousness, back into a careless sleep. He never did care much for Legends or vows. Just as little as he cared for the village he lived in. It was a sour, blatant reality that he himself didn’t understand much.

All that mattered right now was sleep.

Name: Hikari (Dozar) Doshin

Age: 17

Gender: It Female

Social Status: Wondering Conartist (Currently a Charm Dealer)

Pokemon Spirit: Furret

Description: Hikari is 5"6 with bright green eyes and a normal tan complextion. Her hair is ebony and extends down to her waist, though it is tied in a ponytail by a cresent moon shaped clip. She has two bangs though that are parted at the sides of her face. Her current attire for this certain job is a tight fitting black shirt and a pair of black shorts with a long black coat made of a loose satin-like material with purple trim around the sides and the sleeves. Her shoes are simple black boots.
For accesories, she wears a dark purple headband around her head which supposedly gives her future sight. She has a pendant on a silver chain around her neck that is the same emerald color of her eyes and stands out against the dark colors of her wardrobe. She doesn't wear a hat.

Personality: Hikari, though being a wonderer, wouldn't be classified as a loner. She enjoys being alone, and also enjoys new things. The reason she enjoys being alone is not because she doesn't like meeting people (she could stay in a town of a couple of months), it's because she doesn't trust people. She enjoys making new 'friends', but she doesn't like sharing secrets and such. About her liking new things, this is one of the reasons she became a conartist. She loves the thrill of seeing how good she is at one thing or another and likes to earn money from it. She usually leaves before curiousity about her spreads so that most of the time, she never gets questioned. Hikari is extremely clever, even though she's very lazy and a little energetic. Seriousness usually isn't in her nature. She's also extremely greedy with her money, but can be very charming and cute. Well, that's usually how she gets out of trouble.

History: Hikari's hometown is far, far, far, far, FAR away. The only way she would be able to find it again is by pure luck of running into it; not like she would want to. Her father was a drunk and her mother was a servant of the high noble of the town. At the age of ten, she was told to also take part in her mother's work with the noble. Though she had a good personality, it was ignored by others due to her social status among the town. It was always thought she'd become as low as her mother or as stupid as her father, which was wrong. Inside the noble's castle, she liked to sneak off (she was extremely good at this) into the library or the noble's daughter's room, where she would read books and try on different costumes. At the age of tweleve, after a tramatic night at her house, she snuck off into the noble's castle, took a couple of the daughter's outfits, stole a Ponyta (she'd become friends with it), and left the town. This plan had been thought out from the third month she had worked there. Though she wasn't expecting to begin this plan till she was thirteen, she felt the need to as soon as possible. If anyone had ever asked her about her past, she would have shrugged it off as 'not much'.

Other: (Sheesh, you're kinda rude with these sidenotes o.o;) Hikari is a big flirt, and does it at times. She doesn't expect anything out of it, she just does it because she can. She's also fond of younger girls and would perfer them over nobles or women for company. This is due to the fact of her own disgruntled childhood. She's also fond of the emerald pendant around her neck because it matches her eye color. She carries her bag of 'charms' (Stone shards that she murmered over) in her pocket. Her favorite makeshift job was a Pokemon groomer. So many Pokemon~

RP Sample: (Sorry if you didn't want me to, but
my sample will be my starting post of the RP.
(if I'm accepted D:)

"Come and get your charms~ They won't turn you into Pokemon! Ask any town to the far west! With my charms, there is nothing to fear~" So was my catchphrase of the day as Dorzar the Charm Dealer. Luckily, this was the third town I had found unchanged by Deviwhatshisface and the third town that would be desperate for my charms. Well, who couldn't resist a cute girl selling their only sign of hope?♥

A young looking housewife and her daughter began to come closer to where I was, while other people eyed me with curiousity. The people in this town must be stingy with their money. To show them a sign of my compassion for their doomed selves, I bent down towards the little girl and pulled out a topaz cresent shaped charm from my leather bag. "Here you are little girl. This one if free for you. Live a long life and may you prosper." The girl clutched the shard in her small hands and stood with her mouth agape. A 'thank you' stumbled out of her mouth as she held it up for her mother to examine. This, was a great sign, for the townsmen began to come closer to the small wooden booth where I was.

The wind had begun to pick up in small bursts, and my robe began to fluster abit. Luckily, I had evaded the magician before, but I wasn't sure if I could this time...

Only one word could disinguish what her cousin was turning the house into in her attempt to find a single bottle--chaos.

"Where is it?! Topaaaaaz! Are you sure you have not seen it?" Came the frantic wailing, a pan flying out of the kitchen. Topaz had taken refuge in the closed doorway, the only spot not undergoing a make over of disaster.

"No, Mink, I haven't." Topaz answered once again, leaning with her back against the door. A wail of protest came from the bowels of the kitchen, and more clattering could be heard. Topaz gave a gentle smile, and sighed. There was no stopping Devidan, potion or not. They would just have to accept what the future held for them. Giving her head a gentle shake, Topaz quietly exited the house, slowly closing the door behind her. Even outside the clattering of pans could be hear, though muffled.

"Come and get your charms~ They won't turn you into Pokemon! Ask any town to the far west! With my charms, there is nothing to fear~"

Almost amused by the call, Topaz headed in that general direction, curious despite herself. Her light blue dress fluttered in the breeze, and she stopped a short distance from the booth.

Interesting...

OCC: I'm back! Thankfully the RP didn't progress as much. I came home early. As usual, everyones character is older then mine XD.

IC: Oraith looked around. He never liked to help people with his white magic. "C'mon Oraith! Its night time you know. White lights would make a great sky display!" Teased a local boy. Oraith looked down at his Cuff-link, it started glowing slighty.

"Hey why is your shirt glowing?" said the boy. "Uh, nothing. I-I, uh, have to go now!" Oraith said as he rushed off. The boy scratched his head in confusion. Oraith stopped out of breath. "Why must you do this to me!" Scolded Oraith as he talked to the Cuff-link.

In his anger, Oraiths hand glowed white as he attempted to remove the Cuff-link using his magic. The Cuff-link shook, but nothing happened. Frusturated with the bracelet, Oraith sent up white sparks into the sky. They exploded. Oraith wasn't paying attention to the lights as they were similar to fireworks.

The boy that Oraith just ran from saw these lights. "Wow, Oraith must really care about our entertainment." The boy said as he gazed at the lights.

----------

Säde went up to her mother's room. There she found her mother sitting on her bed, silent, awaiting what came. The mother's silver and light green hair ran in front of her face. Säde went up to her to talk.

"Mother..." she said, but that was all she could say. Her mother was just looking and staring out the window. Even more eery, her mother was smiling. The room then went silent after that.

After a minute or two, Säde couldn't take the silence and started to talk again. "Don't worry, mom. It will be okay."

Then she spoke. "Säde, how are we going to take care of the farm? If we become -- then we can't do anything. How are we going to eat? How are we going to live? The power of Devidan... What will we do?" Her voice started to quiver. "How will we take care of you?"

"Mom," said Säde, her voice was low and soft, comforting almost. She hugged her mother after that. "I'll help the village. I'll try somehow." They stayed like that for awhile. And in the distance something sat upon the hill tops of the village.

*~*~*~*~*~

Beyond the village sat some hills. Sometimes children would go there to play, to make use of the small brush that sat upon the hills to make a good hiding game. It was also known as a spot to go and relax, to take your mind off of the day. But today everyone was in their homes, making another sort of hiding game and pretending to relax. But the time they all feared had finally come.

Rising onto the hill was a black horse. Other horses came, following the first. And sitting upon the leader horse was a very ominous looking man. His armor was black and cold. His pauldron was sharp looking and pointed up. The armet helmet he wore had a long snout and had horns coming through. Strips of red and purple decorated his armor. This man of darkness and revenge was no other then Devidan, the rejected warlock.

"This village looks ready to fight, your Highness," said one of the men at Devidan's side.

The dark leader talked in a deep and baritone voice. "Yes, they seem like they would fight back. I would if I were the last place left. Foolish people. I've seen some take refuge here from the other places. Since they helped out in hiding people, I believe they should be severely punished, don't you?"

"Yes, King Devidan!" said the other soldiers, though they only did it to save themselves from the power the warlock held in his hand.

"Then, shall we?" said Devidan, pulling out a sword and his shield. He commanded his horse to run at the village.

Devidan was in the front of the village. The people in the streets saw the warlock as he pressed into the heart of the city. Finally he stopped and faced the people that feared him.

"I am Devidan. I have come here to initiate your punishment. You are then to serve me, and if you refuse, well... you don't want to."

The warlock pulled it out. The Pythagora Wand was black and dark. The orb that rested upon the staff part was purple and seemed to have white spider web in it. He thrust it down and the orb seemed to explode into a ball of wire.

"Now change to your new destiny!" The wand glowed and shot a light at a random person. The person changed into a Mr. Mime and quickly looked at himself. Some people ran off, others stood to fight back.

*~*~*~*~*~

Säde heard some commotion outside and looked out. There she saw Devidan, she just knew it was him. Already some people had changed.

"Mom, I'll be back," said Säde.

Säde's mother grabbed her arm. "No! You'll get hurt, Säde!"

Säde looked back at her mother and gave her a final hug. "I'll be fine. Just let me go. I need to go. I have to help you and dad." And with that she left the little house to try to fight Devidan.

Name: Doxis "Dox" Veron

Age:15
Gender:Male
Social Status: Mercenary
Pokemon spirit: Pachirissu
Description: Dox has short Dirty Blonde Hair that often gets in his eyes when he does not cut it enough, it is not very shiny. He wears dark blue pants that are torn up to his knees. His dark red long-sleeve shirt is in better shape, It still has dirty patches though. He wears a long dark green cape that streches all the way down to his dark brown sandals. His eyes are a nice shade of Indigo and his skin is tanned, but not that much.

Personality: Dox is unusually kind for a mercenary, he gives some people a small discount for his work, If he is hired by a poor village. He can be shy at times with new people, but not for very long. He likes to help people by taking care of bandits, pirates etc... And he "goes in the zone" when it comes to swordplay. He really loves pokemon too, and would care for one as if it were his own flesh and blood.

History: When Dox was a boy, he was quite spoiled, he never really liked being treated that way but he accepted the fact that his parents just wanted him to be happy. His family was'nt exactly rich but they were definately upper middle class. When Dox was 8, his parents were killed by 2 large Ursaring when they thought they were after thier young. When the Ursaring eventually saw what they had done, the felt a very large weight of regret and actually decided to raise Dox themselves! Dox could see that the attack was an accident and forgave the Ursaring. When they raised him he was taught many basic fighting instincts of a pokemon. But, not forgetting his human roots he insisted on using a stick as a weapon. When Dox left the 2
Ursaring when he was 12, he was an accomplished swordsman(he was a fast learner) and decided to be a mercenary at 14 when he had crafted the perfect sword. He was then hired by a town that had serious trouble with a banished warlock. He arrived there, only to be caught in a village attack by the same man, the evil one was carrying a strange wand of arcane magic, Dox was knocked out by one of his soldiers and woke up as a pokemon!

Other: Dox carries around a sword as his main weapon when combat arises and has an innate sense that kicks in when in battle, it allows him to forsee enemy blows better, and reinforces his quick thinking.

RP sample: "ugh..", Dox weakly moaned. It had at least been a few hours scince the attack, and Dox felt very strange. "Wha... what happened.....AAAAAGH!" Dox was shocked at himself. The first thing he noticed when he woke was the huge tail looming behind him, he then noticed he had short legs and was standing on all fours! "I... I'm a Pokemon!!" Dox's surprise revealed one word in his mind, RUN! So off Dox went into the dark woods ahead of him, through the unusual stillness of the night...

Apart from all the commotion, Oraith was still mad. But he decided it was best to follow the sound, His Magic powers ready, and his book open. He looked around as he walked slowly. Hearing the tiniest sound would make him turn around and say, "Stay back! I'm warning you!"

A white light rushed toward Oraith. He turned around just in time. "Magic Seal!" he called. A Light blue barrier came around him and it absorbed the magic that was heading toward Oraith. "I should be more careful," He said to himself. "Or I might turn into a pokemon...."

Oraith continuued down the dark street, his Cuff-Link and shirt making a dim light around him. He saw people being turned into pokemon, but Oraith didn't know where it was coming from.

Looks like someone else is fighting back, too. Asahi crouched in an alleyway, his single blue eye glinting as he saw Oraith create a barrier about himself. The alchemist twirled a vial of red liquid briefly between his fingers before suddenly casting it at several soldiers who dashed by. A fiery explosion instantly burst to life as the object shattered upon the ground, shards of glass being flung to all sides. I may make mistakes when alchemizing. But, one thing I can always do is make a good explosion--whether I mean to or not.

Asahi lightly tapped the side of his head, murmuring, "Eye, don't give out on me now." A faint, orange glow briefly glimmered behind the bandages that covered the male's face as the artificial eye activated. Rather than focusing upon physical forms, Asahi's left eye now saw various energies, moving in a panic about the village. "Now, to find the largest energy source . . . That should be Devidan--or at least the object that gives him so much power." Asahi's fake eye widened. There! The center of the village!

Slipping a ring with an alchemized stone upon one finger, Asahi dashed from the alley, attempting to disregard the chaos about him. I should have figured Devidan would be there. Attacking from the center seems to be his favorite mode of operation. Suddenly, Asahi dropped downward, narrowly avoiding the slice of a soldier's spearhead. Snatching a pale, blue potion from his his side, the alchemist smashed it onto the ground at the soldier's feet before suddenly springing back. Sticking his tongue out in a manner too immature for his years, Asahi chirped, "Sorry I can't stay to chat. Got other business to take care of."

The soldier said nothing, merely making a last, angry swipe at Asahi as ice rose from the potion and began to engulf him. Catching the man's hand before the freezing effects were able to reach it, Asahi added, "That reminds me." He lightly nicked the man's hand with the jewel of his ring, catching a little blood on the gem's surface.

"Thanks!" Asahi called over his shoulder, trying not to trip as he resumed his journey through the streets. Turning, the male dodged a transformed Pidgey before finding himself halting as he gazed pityingly at a beached Seaking. I probably have some water potion that can-- Asahi shook his head to clear his thoughts. No. Devidan is my goal. I don't know when my next chance will be, especially since this is one of the last free villages in the area. Asahi drew a slice in his arm with the gem of his ring, the blood dripping inside the ring to where it could be stored and mix with the other man's blood.

"If I didn't think this might be one of my last chances, I probably wouldn't consider using my secret weapon . . . "

Oraith sheilded his eyes as Asahi's potion made pieces of glass fly everywhere. "Hey, who are you?" Oraith called, but it was too late. Asahi had already run off in Devidan's direction and Oraith couldn't stop him. More of Devidan's soldiers joined the onslaught, and Oraith began to think if he was ever going to make it out of here alive.

"White Missle!" shouted Oraith, as a missle like projectile made its way out of his hand. It hit many soldiers in its path, turning into a cloud of smoke and vanishing when it was through. Deciding to follow Asahi, Oraith made his way through more soldiers, using an invisible spell so the soldiers couldn't see him.

Oraith wasn't too good at this spell, let alone using it on himself. He only had thirty seconds to catch up with Asahi until the spell wore off.

Just when everyone was starting to warm up to me...the warlock himself had finally caught up to me. My heart began to beat faster as I tried to think of a way out of this; if that was possible. Come to think of it, was there another place that hadn't been attacked? No, there wasn't. I guess my luck had finally run out...

Lightheaded, I looked around the village for any means of escape. The way I had come was the way that Devidan had come, so soldiers had blocked that area off... In the opposite direction, some guy a little older than me and some guy younger than me were fighting off the soldiers; so going that way would mean getting caught in the fray; I didn't want that. Maybe the best thing was to duck behind my wooden sale stand and pretend that I didn't exist. But then again, there was another girl close to my stand; she would attract attention back over here and I would be discovered!

"Hey! You! B-blonde girl! Come over here behind the stand and get out of there!" I yelled, motioning her with my hand up from underneath the stand.

The commotion down on the road made it impossible for Knepen to stay asleep...Sometimes he would sleep all day, but not now. He would peek over the edge of the rooftop, grumbling to himself.

Seeing as people down below were being turned into Pokémon, and even the girl from the farm was headed towards what seemed to be a king and his men... No, not a king. A warlock.

"What the heck is that?" Knepen grumbled, almost as if it were the least of his concerns. His partner, the Ghastly, faded into solidity beside him. Neither of them bothered to look at eachother; They only watched from above behind squinting eyes.
"That's Devidan...Haven't you been listening to anyone?"
"No, I don't believe I have. Guess I just don't need to."
"Lazy blighter."

The two stared awhile, and soon the other cat-types and ghostlies joined to see from the nice seat above the roads. For now, they would not be seen on their little pharmacy rooftop. But who knows how long that will last...

OOC: Alright, I've decided to post again... I would have yesterday, but PC was goofing up. So yeah...

----------

Säde kept running past the streets toward the soldiers that laid in the distance. They all seemed to not to hurt anyone, but merely picked them up and dragged them away. One of them grabbed a little girl.

"You! You let her go!" said Säde. She pulled out a whip. Säde used to use whips all the time when she was a girl and got very good with it. But she never used it to harm, only to grab onto things that she couldn't.

So the farm girl snapped the whip. The soldier just sat there and laugh. He thought that Säde meant to hurt him. He stopped laughing when the soldier had his sword stolen, held in the tangle of the leather rope.

"What the-!" said the soldier, as his sword flew away.

Säde pulled the blade out of its sheath and pointed it at the black armored man in front of him. Afraid and scared, the soldier just ran toward his master by horse. Säde couldn't catch up to him in time or as fast. So the farm girl snapped her whip again and grabbed on the soldier's arm. He was thrown off the horse, and also let go of the girl when his arm was caught. Stumbling the soldier ran up to Säde, pulling out another blade hidden on him. It wasn't as long as the sword Säde held, but it could be lighter and thus faster. It seemed that they were going to spar.

The soldier leapt forward first. He was a little slow because he had that suit on and Säde was fast because she had nothing except citizen clothing on, but one hit from him and she was over. And where to hit him? Head from toe, he was covered. Even if she did hit him, would it scratch? She had to try though.

Säde ran as fast as she could, pulled back the sword as far as she could and bashed at the soldier. Sparks flew into the night sky. She stood there behind the soldier and Säde looked quickly back at the soldier. The soldier's armor had a large gash in it, but his flesh was spared.

'How can I defeat him?' thought Säde.

"Given up yet?" said the soldier, pointing his sword at Säde. He raised his arms up to hit Säde on the head. Then Säde came up with an idea. Whether it worked or not, she had no time to think of it and did it. She stabbed him in the sights of the helmet. At first the sword was hard to push in, but after a moment a crack was heard and slid right in. Säde felt ill as blood flowed through the hole.

She let go of the sword and the limp body of the soldier came falling down. Screaming still came from the city streets, but not human screams, which seemed to make Säde feel sad - it seemed like they were losing. And then, when she didn't even think it was possible, she saw him coming down her alleyway.

Pointed and jagged like a demon, Devidan came rushing at her. Though he seemed odd looking as Säde could see right through him. A fake shell of Devidan came and stood in front of Säde.

"No! Don't harm that sweet girl!" said a familiar and yet sickening voice. Säde looked over and saw Baethan running over with a musket in one had and a rapier in the other.

"Baethan!" said Säde, as she watched the handsome man deliver a pellet through Devidan's chest. Nothing happened. "I don't think that's the real Devidan, Baethan," said Säde, "I think it's a shell or something."

The shell Devidan lifted a Pythagora Wand and pointed it at Säde. It glowed an eery purple. "I'll protect you, Säde!" said Baethan as he stood in front of his future wife. A purple beam hit the noble and a loud unearthly noise came up. Säde closed her eyes as the flash hit Baethan.

As she opened her eyes she looked down and saw a small Vulpix looking at himself. "Baethan?!"

The shell of Devidan pointed the Pythagora wand at Säde. The warlock then made the same spell at Säde. It hit her the same way as Baethan. When it hit she ached all over. She felt like she was in an odd dream as her brain shrank to fit her new skull. As she stopped aching and her head not in fog, she looked around. She was small as everything was quite big compared to her. Säde looked at herself in a puddle and saw a Chikorita staring back.

Amidst the fray, Asahi thought he heard a voice call to him. Seconds later, a flash of light briefly shone behind him as the same voice called the name of an attack. As the alchemist turned, however, he saw no one there. The situation being what it was, Asahi swiftly dismissed his thoughts of the voice and resumed his search for Devidan. The center of the village was close.

Running down one of the village's main streets, Asahi's human eye caught sight of Devidan's transparent likeness transforming several humans into their Pokemon counterparts. Memories of past battles flickered through Asahi's mind as he watched the act being performed, and a brief sadness passed through his mind. Turning away from the scene, Asahi slipped the glove from his hand as he resumed running--dodging soldiers, villagers, and Pokemon alike in the same wordless manner.

As the sight of Asahi's fake eye began to fade, the male came to a sudden halt. A strange smile crossed his features at the sight that lay before him. I wonder if this is the end for me . . . Or if fate will again grant me a grace that should not have been. Either way, here I am now. And here and now I must act. The smile continued to play faintly about Asahi's mouth as he murmured, "I'm just glad my eye held out as long as it did." The smile vanished.

Moving behind the edge of a wall and drawing several alchemic stones and potions from his belt, Asahi's storm blue eye focused on the solid, imposing figure of Devidan that arose less than ten yards from him. Unshouldering his bow and quiver of arrows, Asahi poured a drop from a vial onto one of the arrows. Already alchemized for accuracy and endurance, the arrow was given an additional effect once it struck its target. After notching the arrow to the bowstring, Asahi's mind focused upon his single goal as he drew the string back. On his right hand, a crest drawn in blood glowed dimly as unnatural strength held the bowstring taught. Beneath the bandage that covered the left side of his face, the fake eye again activated, though with considerable effort--trying to find the center of energies of Asahi's target.

As he knelt in silence, Asahi's real eye narrowed slightly in concentration. I probably should have prepared an invisibility potion for this arrow. But, seems too late for that now . . . If this arrow strikes the Pythagora Wand's gem, it will explode with a light energy that should hopefully disrupt the Wand's--and perhaps Devidan's--dark energies long enough for me to fight Devidan more evenly. Asahi almost laughed aloud. Then maybe Devidan will only be ten times stronger than me. Ah, well. Now or never. Asahi released the bowstring. The arrow flew.

Topaz found herself standing rooted to that spot in a state of shock. So, he was really here...the evil warlock...

"Hey! You! B-blonde girl! Come over here behind the stand and get out of there!"

The yell scraped off a layer of her shock, Topaz's startling blue eyes seeing the waved hand gesture for her to hurry. Topaz moved her body into action, and was soon by the other girl, hiding behind the stand. She caught her breath, and gently shook her head. Now was not the time to be dumfounded by this new realization.

Topaz looked to the girl before her, and gave a generous nod.

"Thank you," she said queitly, though it was pointless, since there were a lot of commotion to cover said words. Her fair skin seemed to pale even more as she remember something--she had left Mink all alone! But she knew she couldn't try to get to her know--she'd just be caught. "Mink, don't do anything stupid..." Topaz said under her breath, dearly hoping that her sister at home would have some sense and hide herself...

Devidan kept attacking the citizens, turning and changing them into Pokemon. The Warlock wasn't getting most of them, unfortunately for him.

"I must attack more quickly," said the warlock to himself. And then he had it. "I'll just make myself multiply." So Devidan cast a spell upon himself and made shells of his former self. They were transparent, but still took the same form of the dark king. Soon after they were created, the shells broke out into the city.

Devidan still stood in the village square. He watched as some of the citizens fought. Some were staying alive, hanging onto the belief that they would be able to defeat Devidan, and yet others were slaughtered or turned into Pokemon, whichever came first.

Then Devidan heard a feather fly toward him. The arrow hit the Pythagora Wand, but it seemed to bounce off it.

Looking at the arrow's trail, he saw where it came from. There in the distance was Asahi. The warlock was furious that such a man would try to hurt him, and so Devidan galloped over to Asahi. When he got there, Asahi was placed in a sealed aura, making him not being able to move.

"I want to at least see the face that wants to harm me, no?" said Devidan. "I should just kill you," he raised the Pythagora Wand, "but I'll make you suffer instead." Soon Devidan cast the spell that he had been using the most this night.

The boy's eye twitched. Watching all these people act so helplessly wad begun to sicken him. Without a look back to his companions, Knepen jumped off the rooftop of their warehouse. In unison, the other pharmacy residents would gasp as he landed crouched with a hand down on the dirty ground. His companions' startled calls rose as he stood, dusted himself off, as if it mattered, and gave a peace sign to the 'noisy one'.
"Knepen! What the hell do you think you are doing? Get back up here!"
"Goin' to see what my zodiac is. I'll be back."
"WHAT?"
The young thief spun away, saluting as he headed in the very direction of the Devidan casting that...obviously overused spell...on Asahi. With a hand in his pockets, he'd walk with a nonchalant wobble, whistling as he went. What he wanted was quite... unusual for a person.

He stopped a few feet from the warlock's midst, tapping a toe. As the kid spoke, he got this bored, or maybe angry, expression.
"Yo, wrinkles. How many fools does it take to start an uproar?"
Expectant of a negative response, he waited...

As Devidan turned toward him, Asahi's artificial hand raised itself before him in a defensive position. Even if I run now, Devidan is on horseback, and his troops are everywhere. I doubt I would get far. His left hand now hanging low to the ground at his side, Asahi subtly opened a vial of potion and poured its contents onto the ground. The liquid slipped invisibly forward as Devidan approached, his posture beneath his armor indicating that he was a little more than irritated. Suddenly, Asahi snatched another potion from his side before just as quickly finding himself frozen with some type of aura or spell. There was nowhere to run to and no opportunity to fight. A faint smile played about Asahi's lips as his greyish blue eye stared unyieldingly toward Devidan, the purplish glow from the Wand playing upon his features. So, teacher . . . I wonder if this was how you felt.

A dark light burst from the Pythagora Wand, striking Asahi and casting him to the ground as the sealing aura was released shortly afterward. Pain instantly coursed through Asahi's body, dulled only by the dazed state he found himself in. For a moment, Asahi found himself unable to firmly grasp any thought or idea as his mind fell into a blur of confusion. Then . . . a voice.

Asahi's consciousness dimly returned to reality as his eyes opened. A boy stood a short distance from Devidan, his expression almost irritated as he impudently addressed the dark king. Despite the lingering pain, Asahi almost smiled. So far, I've seen at least two people who aren't afraid of Devidan. Wonder how many of us there are, anyway. At this point, the alchemist paused as though remembering something. Lifting his head from the ground, he used the opportunity to gather his remaining strength and activate his fake eye. Gazing at the energies that surrounded Devidan, an almost childish satisfaction passed through his mind. I guess this wasn't a complete waste of time after all. Seems my tracking potion worked. Even if the vapors rising from that potion are invisible to the naked eye, I can see the energies and track it with my other creations. The eye deactivated as Asahi's head returned to the ground. Water can't wash that residue away. Only another potion made specifically to counter it can. And, if all goes well, Devidan won't even know that residue is on him.

His real eye half-open, Asahi lay still, watching the scene between Devidan and Knepen play out.

"You're welcome," I told the fair girl beside me while trying to catch my breath. For one of the few times in my life, I felt as if I was in a hopeless situation with no way out. Submitting myself to Devidan would be low and disgusting, even for me. The clatter that I could hear beyond my wooden haven was fierce and sent chills down my spine. Hopefully that guy and that boy were fighting a successful battle; even though I doubted it. Not like I wanted them to lose or anything! It was just a predictable situation.

As I crouched by the fair girl who I had invited over into my small haven, I began to wonder if those other two had known that they're chances at winning were small. If they did, why the hell did they jump out in the first place? Though I had been in this village for only a day, I felt no motivation to defend it, yet there was nothing else to lose. Maybe the girl next to me knew something about this village...

"Hey um.....this might be kind of late to think of this now, but we can't stay behind this stand forever. Got any attack, defense, or sure escape strategy or something?"

Anyway, let's get this going!

----------

Säde just stared at her new figure. She had never even thought of how it would be to become a Pokemon. She was scared also; it was all new to her. Crates that seemed to just be some odd old box was now instead looked like a small house. Säde started to walk, but fell down. It was awkward walking on all four legs. She slowly walked over to her forced fiance who was also looking at himself.

"I'm hideous!" he exclaimed. "Look at me! I'm a dog! No..."

"Shut up you idiot," said Säde. "At least we're both alive."

Baethan looked at Säde. His fox eyes widened as he saw Säde as a chikorita. "So I guess all my steam was for nought," said the vulpix. "Well, I care not of what you do, Säde, but as for me, I'm leaving. If you stick around here, you're going to get caught." The noble began to leave.

Säde spoke up and said, "Wait! You can't just leave. What about the other people? Don't you care about them?"

Baethan turned back toward Säde. "They should have left the village. And besides, what can we do as Pokemon?"

"Many things," said Säde. "Pokemon have powers that humans can't control. Let's fight back. It's the only thing we can do."

"Seems useless to me," said Baethan, walking over toward Säde, "but if you think so then let's do it."

The two ran off toward the middle of the city. As they past by the other streets, they saw other people getting turned into Pokemon much like Baethan and Säde were.

"Why don't you take care of those people, Baethan?" said Säde, trying to get her fiance out of her sight.

"Huh? But how?" said the vulpix.

"Just believe in yourself," said Säde. "You can do it."

Baethan nodded and went off to help the people. Säde on the other hand went off to harm Devidan. 'I can't let him hurt father or mother,' thought Säde. 'I can't let that happen.'

In the square Säde saw Asahi and Knepen near Devidan. Asahi was on the ground and Knepen was displaying some sort of anger toward Devidan. She ran up toward the three and past some other people that were turned into Pokemon.

'I know him,' thought Säde. She was referring to Knepen. 'He's always at the pharmacy. But I don't know his name...'

~*~*~*~*~

Devidan didn't notice Asahi's potion, just as Asahi hoped for. Suddenly the warlock turned to the voice that taunted him.

"Who dares talk to me in such a way?"

There stood Knepen. His clothes were dirty and tattered as usual. Devidan thought that this individual shouldn't be in his sights. "How disgusting. I should take care of you as well, just like him. Prepare for yourself to change."

Nina awoke to Zangoose crying in a corner and loud noises coming from outside. Darn!Nina thought. I must have fallen asleep! And with Devidan coming... She looked over at Zangoose.

"Zan! Zan!"

Nina picked him up. "You thought I was dead? Geez..." He poked her head. "Yeah, yeah, I hear the screeming. Wheres the riot?" The Zangoose bonked her on the head. "Oww!" Then she noticed the fire outside her window. Not to mention the soldiers. Her eyes widened. "He's... here?"

"ZANGOOOOOSE!!!"

"But he wasen't supposed to come till next week!" She started to worry. "You can't rely on him for anything, can you? Lets get out of here!" She picked up her backpack and hurried outside. Where am I supposed to go? I have to protect Zangoose! Ninja time! While dodging soldiers, Nina took out a Kurin. She decided to mow down any soldier in her way. After slicing about ten, she almost reached the forest. Am.. I safe? Home free? Too bad she dident notice Devidan...

"AAAAAAAUUUGH!!!!" Nina screamed as the pain of a million daggers hit her. She fell to her knees. "Run... Zangoose..." She smiled at her pokemon with tears in her eyes and blood dripping from her mouth. The soldiers surounded her. "Wait! Don't kill her, master Devidan might want her..." One soldier said. Nina felt her eyes close as she fell unconsious.

When Nina woke up, she was leaned against a tree. Zangoose was leaned against a tree diagonal from hers. Nina grunted when she tried to stand. She felt... strange. Not weak, but diffrent. She put her hand to her forehead. "Oww!" Claws? Scense when have I had claws? And ears... and black fur?!? What?!?!?

Zangoose looked up at her. "Ah! Good, Nina. Your awake." He poked at a bug crawling up the tree.

"Wh-what? I can... understand you..." Nina studdered as she pinched him.

"Ow! I'm real, I'm real! Just don't pinch me again, your claws are sharp." Zigzagoon told her. "So, as you can tell, your a pokemon now. A really nice one, at that. A sneasel. You ok?"

Nina relised she was shaking. "Yeah, I'm ok." She turned away from him to look at the sky. "So, a sneasel?" Nina slashed at the air. I can still use ninja weapons and techniques... She turned back to him. "Yes, I am ok! I could get used to this, I guess."

Zangoose smiled as well. "Good! This is perfect, then!"

Nina closed her new red eyes. "Yes." She whispered to herself.

"Oh?" The peasant boy piped, briefly eyeing the currently inhuman Asahi. A half-moon smirk, like that of the Cheshire Cat's from Alice in Wonderland, grew onto his face as he looked back over at Devidan, or rather, his wand.

"Nice wand. I'll have it for myself some day... Though I wonder." He tapped his cheek with an index finger, crossing the other arm over so as to mock the sense of inquiry a nobleman would take on. "Is a fate so pathetic as to simply change into something of different shape such a big deal compared to my demise?" As he brought his hand down, his Ghastly partner would fade into view beside Asahi. The Pokémon looked a tad bit anxious; worried, so to speak. "Knepen, what are you doing??"
"Butt out, Noisy!" He called back, a harsh yet realistic tone. "You and I both know that anything cast by this old crone..."
"Kne--"
"...Is a waste of everyone's time!"

He was totally asking for it this time.

"Prepare for yourself to change."

As Devidan spoke these words, Asahi's now-catlike ears pricked up, the silver ring that hung from his right ear shimmering briefly. His energy drained from both the battle and the Wand, however, Asahi remained unable to stand despite his efforts. Still unafraid, the boy continued to challenge Devidan as the transformed alchemist watched in silence. He's quite the kid. I hope he knows what he's doing . . .

Moments later, a Ghastly materialized beside Asahi and called to the boy, his expression containing what concern a Ghastly's features could. Asahi's Pokemon ears again twitched as he tilted his head toward the ghost type. I can understand what the Ghastly is saying. I suppose this means I really have transformed into a Pokemon . . . Asahi returned his single-eyed gaze to the boy who was now offering nothing less than a blatant insult to the dark wizard that towered above him. So, his name his Knepen. He smiled. Maybe what he's doing wouldn't be considered smart by most standards, but there's something I like about that kid anyway. Heh. I guess it's since neither of us are quite 'normal'.

Only as Asahi began to struggle to his feet did he fully realize he had been lying on his side. Then, as the male began to grow unsteady, his tail automatically flicked to one side to balance him. I . . . have a tail? Asahi paused for a moment, consciously swinging his tail to and fro and testing his control of it. After several seconds of swinging his tail about, Asahi's attention suddenly returned to the present. Wha? Oh. I suppose I can practice moving my tail in circles later. For the moment, I have to assume Knepen is moving toward a specific goal, and I don't want to interfere with that goal if possible. So, I'll only act if it's necessary. Besides, it feels like my right--what is it now, paw?--plans to fall off soon.

"No. Not at all. My talent lies with artistry--not cunning plans of any sort. Unless we just...charge while his back is turned?"

Topaz really did not know, but she knew they would be discovered either way they went about it.
Hmm...go out in a bang, or be discovered hiding? Tough choice. Topaz willed her heart to stop hammering in her chest, and consider their position more. She once again looked to the girl, wondering if she would add to the 'plan', or deject it entirely.

"rrrrummmbbblee", I guess the ruckuss has started again, Dox thought, I really wish I could help, but I don't properely know how to use this strange pokemon's powers yet... So Dox just kept running, and suddenly had the instinctive to run up a tree. He did it smoothly, At the top he had an amazing view. "heh, heh, I guess being raised by wild pokemon has its perks..." Dox muttered. "HOLY CHEESE!!!" before Dox, was probably the most horrifing sight he had ever seen. The entire village was in chaos, he saw pokemon scrambling everywhere. The remaining
humans were still fighting, but to no avail... They seemed to be fighting the evil one, but it was as if he was every where... I have to get out of here!, Dox thought. So he ran down the tree and deeper into the woods. a few yards in, Dox heard a low moaning. "wha?", Dox followed the noise, until he saw a flash of white, he hid behind a tree. "whoa...", in front of Dox, was a small pond reflecting the full moon and the stars. Next to it, was an incredibly glorious ninetales. But before Dox could think, the beautiful creature let out a howl that could pierce the sky itself...

Oh yeah! Before I go on, if you haven't already, try to meet at the town square. That way I can change everyone into Pokemon. It's inevitable. Even if you've already been turned into a Pokemon go there. Something will happen. So yeah, I wish to move on so...

----------

Säde kept watching the warlock. 'Does he know that I'm here?' thought the newly changed Chikorita. 'It doesn't matter, I have to try to stop him.'

She leapt onto a crate that was in front of her. "Devidan! I shall stop you with your own foolishness!" Devidan looked over, his horned helmet shining the flame that erupted from his attack. Säde thought about what a Chikorita does for its attacks.

'A Vine Whip would work,' she thought. 'I'll try that.'

She tried to wiggle her buds on her neck. Soon she could see her two front vines coming out. Then Säde stretched her vines toward Devidan. Then a Houndour popped up. "Hey! Don't hurt my master!"

"Oh!" said Säde. "I'm sorry, but he is hurting everyone."

"Well!" said the Houndour, taking Säde's comment personally for some reason. The black dog flew an ember at her. The embers caught on Säde. She cringed from the pain that came with it.

"Ow! Hey!" Säde instinctively swung her leaf and shot a Razor Leaf at the Houndour. The Houndour took the hit. He twitched a little but not enough to make him put a guard down. It seemed that this was going to be a hard battle.

"So you don't really care what happens?" said Devidan, staring at the local thief. "Then I'll do your wish." He cast upon Knepen the Pokemon curse, which Devidan loved to watch. But the warlock wondered about something as all of this went on. 'What will happen after I leave? Oh well, they can't be that smart or that strong to defeat me...'

"All of your punishments are final!" Devidan spoke. "And soon this land will be mine. Those who fight me are my enemies and those who sit are mine to control!"

After its scream, Dox decided to bravely approach the Ninetales, out of shock of another persons approach, it fled instantly. "hmmmm... oh well, I guess it was just shy." Dox said to himself, he decided to take a look in the reflecting pool. "GAH, Man this day is just full of surprises!" In the pool Dox saw himself, or who he was presuming to be... He was a light blue and yellow squirrel with a huge tail, with what looked to be some kind of spikes on them, he was of course also very small and on four legs.

heh, so I'm a squirrel huh? I wonder what powers it has... Dox thought, "grr, I feel so useless! Okay, scince I'm here I might as well try to learn some new fighting techniques." Dox said out loud, he closed his eyes... He saw a storm, it was a strangely calm one, Dox was on a hill above a cloudy mist, the oddly un-thundery thunder storm was on top of him. Suddenly, a lightning bolt came out of nowhere and struck Dox directly, he immediately flashed back to the real world, a large blue bolt came out of him and struck a huge stone in front of him.

The rock was completely dismantled. "Whoa... Did I do that?" Dox thought aloud. Realizing there was no other way that the rock could have fell apart before him, he tried the lightning attack again. It was much easier the second time, he instantly felt that lightning surge through him again, focused on a target and.... "THUNDERBOLT!!!" Dox struck the already broken rock, leaving only dust in the lightnings powerful wake. "Alright, I'm ready." Or am I? Dox pushed the bleak thought away and decided "I can't just sit here while innocent people are being hurt!" With Dox's own words and thoughts, he felt a new surge of confidence within him. So the new Pachirissu mercenary sprinted back to the cursed village, where hope still shined....

As with every casting from Devidan's wand, a flash emitted from within its threshold. Dirt from the unkempt road lifted, as if something hit ground in a slide from the mere pressure. All that was felt was only that which was felt by those others transformed. Only, confusion and surprise were unadressed subjects for this one.

A hazy buzz stirred in his head, threatening him with the adrenaline gained only in times of need. The need to think fast. The urge to adapt quickly and dispose of that which threatened his home. He could only check himself quickly before the light dimmed, before time wasted. The rushing hum instantly switched to a loud scream; Something that sounded wild, angry, surreal. Control was no longer an option.

Out of the dust leapt a new figure, screaming along the remnants of Devidan's spell, the colorless haze and stinking smoke. There was no time between the former transformation and the moment that Knepen, only finishing deformation, landed on the warlock's head. Snaps and pops sounded as new bones aligned themselves and reshaped.
The eyes had changed as well; dilated, voicing absolute insanity.

No sooner did the minimized thief land on Devidan's face that teeth, still sharpening mind you, sank into the man's nose. Claws extended, gripping both sides of the man's head. It was apparent by now that Knepen was certainly one of those he normally hung around; a cat-type. Meowth to be specific.

The final bone popped back into place, in the jaw, and his maw would tighten around the cartilage at the bridge of the "dreaded" warlock's nose. Not only inhuman, but Inhumane features increased. Moonstricken eyes narrowed. Claws dragged and dug at the man's cheekbones. All the while, catlike curses vibrated from his furry complex.

The Ghastly beside Asahi stared at the situation, paralyzed by the sudden chain of events. It was too fast for him to cope with. To him, Knepen was unlike himself completely. If he had a spine, he surely would be feeling tingles along there. The purple-blue flames about him swirled out of existance. It felt as if he had lost his only friend to the depths of complete insanity.

Like father like son, I suppose?

Slam!

Asahi's head rammed directly into the Houndour's side--sending both him and the canine reeling backward. Twisting with a natural catlike grace, Asahi regained his feet before staggering slightly. Woah. Had no idea that would hurt my head so much. Whatever Pokemon I am, I think I want a thicker skull . . . Never expected I'd want one of those. After shaking his head briefly to clear his mind and steady himself, the psychic type viewed the results of his attack before turning toward a slightly-singed Chikorita.

"I'm no expert, but grass-types are at a bit of a disadvantage against fire-types, aren't they?" Rather than being chiding or critical, Asahi's question was a geniune one--naive, but honest. Come to think of it, I don't know what Pokemon I am yet. Maybe I should ask-- Asahi's thoughts were interrupted as a series of indescribable sounds erupted from the newly-transformed Meowth that clung to Devidan's face. Turning from the Meowth to the Ghastly, and finally back to the Meowth, Asahi murmured, "That's . . . Knepen, isn't it?" For a moment, the lavender Pokemon's face was bemused. Is he supposed to be doing that? Suddenly, Asahi's features grew more serious as another thought occured to him. Devidan can't be too happy about that. I don't mind someone attacking Devidan. But, I do mind Devidan attacking someone. What should I do . . . ?

Good Gracious... Sorry I never got around to posting my bloody profile. xx; I A) Broke my glasses and B) went one a random spur of the moment five-hour-three-day vaction and C) School starts tomorow. >> Course this is no real excuse so I'll post profile first then I need guidance Skitty, as to how you want me to enter this.

Mrew. I'll probably add more to his personal description and to his history later, I'm quite exausted from shopping. ^^;

PROFILE

Name: Koji Himara

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Social Status: Ninja/technologically gifted (see other)

Pokemon Spirit: Raichu

Description: Koji stands about five foot seven, short but cunning, his body is lean and well built while still ridiculously skinny. His jet-black hair rests on his shoulders, a nice section of the hair drifting into his eyes. Throughtout the mop of straight as spagetti hair are a mixture of blue highlights that have no intention of making themselves known. His eyes match the highlights, a deep empty blue that seems to pierce into the hearts of people he makes eye contact without him really meaning to do so. As he says, 'I can't control how freaky my eyes are. Get over it.' For clothing, he tends to wear a loose fitting green red or blue tunic over a pair of loose brown/black pants. He also wears a black headband around his head that often converts to a ponytail holder. It bears the insignia of his village (but NOT in a Naruto like style. See other)As far as "special items" goes, Koji owns a small blue sapphire gem in the shape of a raindrop (Similar to a Mystic Water but a deeper blue) on a hemp-like twine necklace and he never takes it off even when he showers, relaxes in a hot spring or sleeps. Someone else touching it would result in disaster, meaning Koji would more than likely connect a fist to the wrong-doer's face. For equipment, Koji still has a Shuriken pouch on his belt and a kunai holster on his leg but hardly finds the need to use them thanks to the rodent on his shoulder. He also carries a knapsack his mother made for him on his shoulder in a sling like mannor.

Personality: Koji is mostly a happy-go-lucky guy who always seems to iritate the hell out of some people while making another's day. He can lighten even the darkest of moods and enjoys every second of it. However... like any person, Koji can slip into the darkest of moods in a matter of seconds, ripping to shreds (emotionally of course) anyone that comes near him when he's in such a mood. However, these rarely occur, the only times ever really noted being when the stone around his neck was mocked or a person of a low IQ tried to snatch the object. For ninety nine precent of the time, Koji is your average ball of fluffy happiness, always ready to joke but serious when it counts.

History: Well, he can't tell you about his ninja-upbringing, then he'd have to kill you. (Rather, Koji's past is a big part of his character and it wouldn't be fair to ruin the small character plot by spoiling his early childhood. xp) What he can say is the following:

He was born and raised in a secret ninja village in the north. Because of the almost year round (aside from a mild summer) freezing temperatures, the transformations have hardly effected his area. However, the stories have trailed up the frozen tundra til they reached his village. The brave high-ranking ninja warriors left in search of the answer... and none returned. Because of the growing concern and rumours, Koji and a few others left the village, this time hoping to not only find the mysterious transformations and find out what's causing them but to also find and return the lost warriors.

Other:

The tunic/headband has a design on it, let me kick my scanner and scan it in. -.- it doesn't really like me.

By technologically gifted, I mean, since I doubt there's much technology in this roleplay, that Koji can break into any prison cell, any house or room and if there is any 21st century or beyond technology... don't let Koji near it. He'll hack into it with no regards to who may be watching him.

Koji also has a pet Pichu that he recieved from a childhood friend. Its own little profile ish below. ^^

Sonee the Pichu
Sonee was given to Koji by the girl who lived next door to him in his home village as an egg after he told the girl he was leaving in search of the cause of the poke-to-human transformations. It hatched a few days later and in honor of his friend, she was named "Sonee" the shortened name of his friend (Sonechka) and attached to Koji almost immediatly.

She is a bright and bubbly infant pokemon that will do anything to get her hands on a tomato or some ketchup, often mistaking that bottle of wine on the counter for a bottle of her favorite delicacy. She enjoys long naps in Koji's knapsack and does not like being licked by anything. Be it a growlithe, skitty or worse, a lickitung, she refuses to allow anything that touches her with...a tounge... to escape unzaped even though it rebounds and hurts her. In her child-like mind, it's worth the pain to watch them in pain.

RP Sample: Because of time issues, this rp sample has nothing to do with this SPECIFIC character. It's of another. (Mika, in a Team Rocket Simulation program if you want to know.) >>; please say ish okay or.. I guess I could type a full poke rp sample... it'll just delay me posting longer. ^^; I also apologize in advance for the violence of the sample. >>; It's not anything R rated, it's more of a PG, Pg-13. ^^;;;

“Do it again. Your time was unacceptable.”

System rebooting...
Starting simulation X7862...
Times attempted: 4.

Her hands moved through her hair, tiredly pushing away the sweat coated locks from her eyes as the computer refreshed the now battered simulation before she tightened her grip on the full sized katana in her hands. In this “This World” it was as real as a kitchen knife but in “That World” it was nothing more than a plastic toy sword. In “This World” the sun was gone and the walls were coated in slime and gunk. There were no comforting streetlights, just erie glows from the reactors in town.

This simulation was in the slums.

---

Her information told her that a wanted criminal was in District 6 and she was supposed to apprehend him without elimating him. The first few times through this damn simulation, that had been her only fault. She’d killed him. Whooptie do, a criminal was off the street so why the hell did anybody really care if he or she was dead or not? Why, because of lawyers, or at least that’s what Rai-sempai had told her earlier. He’d said, with much exaggeration according to Mira, that Giovanni's Company cover-up of Team Rocket could get cancelled forever an ever if they got sued and the person suing won.

But that didn’t ease her nerves any

The pathetic enemies she encountered on her run towards the pub, which is where her enemy supposedly was, were sliced to ribbons without even a blink from the eleven year old. These weaklings hardly deserved the death she was giving them and even though they were but holograms, she seemed to be enjoying every computer animated scream and cry a little too much…

She moved without thought, quickly eliminating anything, and by anything I include townsfolks, that dared to try and stop her little rampage. Once inside the pub however, her motions changed to that of a sleek well thought out motion set. Swinging to the right, she caught the teen who was programmed to jump her when she entered and quickly tossed him out the window, not bothering to kill him.

Pressing her sword into the supposed high ranking body guards, she quickly made short work of them and turned towards the boss head, slashing her blade to the side to rid it of the nasty looking blood and guts, “You’ve got to the count of three to surrender or your head is mine.”

Taking one look at his comrades, the man groveled, falling to his knees and begging for his pathetic worthless life. Her first instinct was to slice him up slowly, manically, forcing the worst type of pain she could upon him.

But because she waited ten friggen seconds, the computer saw it as her way of noting that she was going to spare the boss and dissolved the program.

Simulation X7862 completed
System shutting dowm

She breathed heavily, slipping to her knees when the rough jerk back into the real world hit her like a few dozen clips of bullets. Her precious sword was now back to its plasticy-ness and in the corner, far away from the disheveled mess in the middle of the now neon blue room that couldn’t seem to start breathing normally.

OOC: Hey, hey, hey! Darkralts, don't take control of Vexen unless you have my permission first. I would like you to edit your post to change it. Anyway, I have plans for her. So yeah...

And we'll be waiting for your post Mikachu. Just hurry, you know, if you can...

Säde shockingly jumped from her spot as she watched Asahi knock the Houndour down. As the Houndour fell, Säde looked at the Espeon as he said something about fire types being stronger than her. Then he wondered about if Knepen's name was indeed Knepen.

Säde stood next to Asahi. "I don't know about his name, but he's always around that old pharmacy next to my home." Then the Chikorita wondered about her home. How was her father and mother? Were they changed into Pokemon? Or did they flee? Whatever the case, she looked as Knepen scratched away at the warlock's face. It seemed to be doing something.

Then Devidan said, in an irritated voice, "Get off me!!" The Pythagora Wand was being raised by his hand. It seemed that Devidan was going to kill Knepen.

"I'll help!" said Säde as she whipped onto the Dark King's arm. It seemed to sustain Devidan's movement for the moment.

As Säde's Vine Whip wound itself about Devidan's arm, Asahi sprang forward and bit the loose skin at the back of Knepen's neck as a mother cat might do to her kitten. Using Devidan as a launching point, Asahi leaped back, hopefully dragging Knepen with him. Unwilling to release the Meowth for the moment, Asahi called to Säde from around his mouthful of fur, "You can let go now. Don't risk Devidan grabbing your Vine Whip." Asahi's tail whipped unconsciously to and fro as he watched the dark king carefully. That was a little too close. And what about the boy? Thinking about it, his actions seem inconsistent with his personality before the transformation. The Espeon was still for a moment as he recalled the changes his parents' had undergone after their transformation to Pokemon.

After a moment, Asahi turned toward the Ghastly who had earlier addressed Knepen. "Ghastly, you know this boy--Knepen--right? Is he like this often?"

The cat's body went ragdoll-limp as Asahi pulled him off the man's face. His eyes were still wide open and, though he appeared unable to respond, began licking the human blood off the fur of his chin. He then began to cough repeatedly....Or was that a chuckle? Does the taste of blood satisfy the insane kid? Whatever it was, his Ghastly friend didn't like it.

'Noisy' would stare at the Meowth's hazy actions, responding to the Espeon in a half-mumble. "No, he's never done anything this..." A brief glance into Knepen's eyes would remind him of the word. "...Insane. Ah! Come to think of it, his father..." Before he could finish his sentance, Knepen would deliver a quick swipe across the Espeon's sternum.

Still licking his lips, he finally closed his eyes. A grizly expression--almost unidentifiable--plastered to his face as he continued 'laughing'. He wasn't so limp anymore, though his back was arched as if in pain, or something along those lines. As that happened, he began licking his claws as well. The Ghastly gaped--even moreso than before. Apparently, the warlock's being there was nothing compared to his own partner going crazy.
