The main reason why they changed the names was cause the Japanese names couldn't be pronounced by a few people.XD
Then,Coronis went and gave them english names,and when Chuangyi translated,they also gave the chars their own names.
Yes,its really confusing on which name to use.
Maybe we just use the names we like,no?XD

Similiar problem with Green and Blue. I can understand that the names were switched because Green was never released outside Japan, but it's still confusing. (Even more confusing for me...Red is really named "Ash" in German and Green is "Gary"...><;;;;;;;)

Well, my bubbe just gave me .2 grand (That's $200 to you who can'tfigure it out) and I plan to spend it on what other than Pokemon Adventures. Via Grimsg, I plan to get volumes 17 and 18, to add with my 19 and 20. Soon, when 21's been published by Chuang Yi, I'll order that one with volume 16, as well as when 22 comes out (That is, IF there is a volume 22), I'll get volume 15, thus completing my Pokemon Adventure volume adquisition goal: To get all of R/S. I have been playing my Emerald game more than any other Pokemon game, and I've been using Smogon's (A pokemon competetive battling site) movesets to create Pokemon that kill everything - such as my Choice Banding Metagross, or my Hynosising Milotic. This tells me that I pay most attention to the Hoenn part of Pokemon gaming, and thus, I am most interested in the Pokemon Adventures R/S volumes. Plus, as a bonus, Angie/Shelly is hot. :D

Oh, and Grimsg, if you're reading this, don't send anything to me yet...

Well, to answer your questions, Ruby was hurt while fighting the legendaries and the team leaders (I think), and Rayquaza left after calming down the two legendaries (but I guess this chapter has no better name for it, and is just continuing on from what happened before, I think).

Also, Pokemon Ranger is cool (almost finished with the game), and the two new legendaries for D/P are really cool looking (they look more vicious than most Pokemon).

I've just noticed something, (to change the sob-ject(get it?)) Gold's eyes are gold, Silver's are sliver, Ruby's eyes are, well... ruby! But, the RGBYs aren't! Does anyone know why? (look at book 15's cover BTW)

They have corresponding colors. Red has red eyes, Blue has blue eyes and Green has green eyes. I think only Yellow doesn't have corresponding colors.

It's probably to make the characters to be a bit more special and another reason for having colors for names. Eitherway, it's fine for me and the eye thing doesn't really matter... although I'm still concerned with Emerald's design and Yellow's new design...>>

Yeah, it does make the characters look SPECIAL (but wouldn't it be hard to make the eye color stand out for the people of basically the same color-Green and Emerald, Blue and Sapphire, Red and Ruby).

Emerald does look weird (first time I saw him, I thought, "His hair looks like anttenas."-they were huge!), Yellow looked better in the Yellow and G/S/C sagas, and Silver looks really creepy.
