My Team Is

Blaziken

Sky Uppercut
Overheat
Swords Dance
Rock Slide

Don't use attacking moves of the same kind. It's a waiste of a slot

Metagross

Explosion
Earthquake
Agility
Meteor Mash

Standard Agiligross, very nice

Ludicolo

Rain Dance
Giga Drain/Surf/Ice Beam/Thunder Punch/Leech seed
Giga Drain/Surf/Ice Beam/Leech seed
Giga Drain/Surf/Ice Beam/Leech seed

Special Sweep. Leech Seed+Leftovers is VERY nice. You can also use Leech Seed, Toxic, Surf, Giga Drain/Synthesis/Ice Beam but ingame the first set is better

Gardevoir

Psychic
Calm Mind
Thunder Bolt
Hypnosis

very nice

Flygon

Earthquake
Fire Blast
Rock Slide/Toxic
Screech

I need another pokemon member I was thinking of
Heracross/Gyarados/Milotic/Salamence/Rayquaza/Ninjask

Gyarados and Salamence cover your team nicely. Use sala with Dragon Dance/Aerial Ace or Return/Earthquake/Fire Blast and use gyara with the same moveset but taunt in the last slot.

Not much to rate without natures and possibly EVs

Thanks but I don't breed pokemon so my Salamence doesn't have Dragon Dance I was leaning to Rayquaza or Heracross are those good choices?

August 10th, 2006, 11:21 PM
Heracross is a fine choice with

Heracross@Leftovers
Nature:Adamant(+Atk,-Sp.Atk)/Jolly(+Spd, -Sp.Atk)/Careful(+Sp.Def, -Sp.Atk)
~Megahorn
~Brick Break
~Rest
~Sleep talk

or the stronger

Heracross@Choice Band
Nature: Adamant(+Atk,-Sp.Atk)/Jolly(+Spd, -Sp.Atk)
~Megahorn
~Rock Slide
~Facade/Focus Punch
~Brick Break/Focus Punch

Focus Punch is for if you predict your opponent to switch but isn't good in game

Don't use rayquaza as it is an uber and your team doesnt need an uber

Mullet

Well if you don't want to get DD Mence then use CB Mence.

Salamence@Choice Band
Adamant Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Brick Break / Fire Blast / Flamethrower

Hope I helped.

So I think Salamence Rayquaza and Heracross are very good choices but of those three who should I pick and why and what good it'll do to my team?

Machamp is cool too if you want to use him.

Machamp @ Choice Band
Trait: Guts
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Cross Chop
- Rock Slide
- Facade
- Earthquake

or

Machamp @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Cross Chop
- Facade / Rock Slide

or

Machamp @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Cross Chop
- Bulk Up
- Earthquake / Facade
- Rock Slide

Many choices for the game. Machamp is fun to use in-game.

Sorry, but I don't have Machamp the pokemon that I have in my game are
Blaziken Flygon Metagross Gardevoir Ludicolo I only had 5 pokemon but now I've been training a Rayquaza Salamence Heracross and they are very strong and have helped my team especially Rayquaza but he is an uber besides that Heracross has been preety useful and Salamence has destroyed my opponets about 3 to 5 pokemon before it dies so does Rayquaza but it does it more easily but Heracross is a team player. But who should It be?

Heracross- Team Player/Sweeper/Destroyer
Salamence- Easily Destroys Opponents
Rayquaza - Easily and Quckly Destroyes Opponenets
Ninjask- Baton Passer

Please Pick Wisely.

Lord Mike

I have found that Sleep Talk is better on CB Champ so you can have a sleep absorber.

I'm sorry but I can't get Machamp please stick with Heracross/Salamence/Rayquaza and tell me which will be good on my team and don't saybecause Rayquaza is a uber that he shouldn't be used

No I was just making that point to him.

Also ubers (like Rayquaza) are sometimes frowed upon.

If you aren't going to go with our suggestions, then don't ask in the first place.

I said that I can't get a Machamp in my Emerald version.
So I said No but what I want is you guys to tell me whch of these four is the best to be on my team

Heracross- Team Player/Sweeper/Destroyer
Salamence- Easily Destroys Opponents
Rayquaza - Easily and Quckly Destroyes Opponenets/
Beautifly - Annoyer/Team Player/HP Stealer

Now which do you think should be on my team?
And E4 protecter I don't breed pokemon so I can't get a Salamence with Dragon Dance

Rayquaza is either reserved by trainers who use it when having uber battles, or it is used by trainers that aren't skilled enough to use something else.

Salamence, as it was stated before, is your best option.

Beautifly is lol.

Blazevoir
August 11th, 2006, 02:49 AM
I'll go with Salamence the reason I put Rayquaza is because it is Salamence but with higher stats and a wider movepool and has Dragon Dance naturally and is super strong anyway what does lol mean? And even though I'm going with Salamence with Dragon Dance(because I don't breed) should I still go with it even though Rayquaza is stronger and has a wider movepool and learns Dragon Dance without breeding?

shanecdavis
August 11th, 2006, 02:58 AM
First of all, you should reconsider the whole "I don't breed" thing. It will only make you a better trainer with better Pokemon. If you want to use Rayquaza that bad, go ahead and use it. It is your game. Also, Mullet already offered you an alternative to DDmence. It is CBmence:

Well if you don't want to get DD Mence then use CB Mence.

Salamence@Choice Band
Adamant Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Brick Break / Fire Blast / Flamethrower

Hope I helped.

BTW - LOL is "laugh out loud". Beautifly is one of the crappiest Pokes you can have on your team.

lol... What is so hard about breeding... "I don't breed" wtf is that supposed to mean, then don't breed but don't come crying to us when people call you a noob for using rayquaza

I know. I felt that it needed more emphasis since he wasn't going to breed for Dragon Dance.

Wow. I never thought of that shanecdavis. now I will breed! and my last member will be Salamence but I don't have a Salamence yet but can I just get a male Bagon and a Female Gyarados
That knows Hydro pump and Dragon dance and breed? Or do I need a Male Salamence and A Female Gyarados?

That I totally agree with.

No, Bagon must be female. The easiest way is getting a male Altaria. It learns Dragon Dance at Lv40. Then you breed male Altaria with female Bagon to get baby Bagon that knows Dragon Dance. Personally, I would breed a Bagon for good IVs and use the set that Mullet suggested. That is the set that I use.

Blazevoir
August 11th, 2006, 05:01 AM
I think breeding with Gyarados is better since it has hydro pump and d.dance

shanecdavis
August 11th, 2006, 05:04 AM
Ummmm, no Hydro Pump on Salamence please. The purpose of Dragon Dance is to increase PHYSICAL attacks. Earthquake, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace, and Brick Break. Fire Blast is often used to take down Steel-types that could otherwise wall Salamence.

Blazevoir
August 11th, 2006, 02:59 PM
it is for the rock pokemon

shanecdavis
August 11th, 2006, 07:44 PM
Again, bad idea. Earthquake is for Rock Pokes, with the exception of Aerodactyl, who goes down to Rock Slide.

White Lotus

Please listen to shanecdavis - he knows whats he's talking about. Also if you want to save the Aerial Ace <tm> you can breed that on too. It'll probably be good practice since you're new to breeding to learn about chains.

1)Find a male Swellow and raise him to lv.38 - he'll learn Aerial Ace

2)Breed him with a female Swablu/Alteria - until you get a male swablu<it will have Aerial Ace>.

3)Level this Swablu until it becomes an Alteria and reaches lv.40 and learns Dragon Dance.<It now has Aerial Ace + Dragon Dance>

4)Breed him with a female Bagon untill you get babies with both moves.

Then if you're feeling froggy you can give breeding for IV's a chance but 1 step at a time. Also when you're breeding moves it's a good idea to always adjust them so they are the bottom most moves in your slots. It has to do with passing em on but just always make sure the moves you want are at the bottom. It should look like this

- Misc.....
- Misc.....
- Aerial Ace
- Dragon Dance
