Could Mukkuru possibly be a pre-evo of Murkrow?

I'm not sure if they say this kind of stuff when they reveal a new Pokemon, but could it be? I mean, the name sounds similar (I know its just the Japanese name) and its got some black... Not that Murkrow needs a pre-evo, because its stats are terrible as is. What it could really use is an evolution. Like the one I sprited.

If I remebered correctly that mukkuru is that small, brown bird.
But whatever that thing is it's not a pre-evo of murkrow despite the name.

You duders know pokemon have diffrent names in japan right? Murkrows name is if i recall Yamikarasu.
That and Mukkuru does not have anything in common with Murkrow except they are both birds.

Why would a silver starling bird whose number is officially #10 in the Shinou Dex, evolve into a Murkrow? It's obviously a Pokemon you catch in the beginning of the game and is totally new.

Definately not. It's pretty obvious that it's the "Normal/Flying Pokemon that always appears at the start of the game". That's been proven beyond a doubt. Espeacially after seeing it's PokeDex Number.

Omg what am I thinking. Murkrow is a weak pokemon, how can I call it strong pokemon. Well.. the movesets for Murkrow are good but the stats are totally down.

Yes I agree, Mukkuru is not the pre evo of Murkrow. It doesn't really look like Murkrow aside from the bits of black on it. It is cute though. ^^ I also agree that Murkrow does need a cool evolution.

Also, just because Mukkuru sounds like Murkrow doesn’t make it valid. Murkrow is the English name while Mukkuru is the Japanese name. If you take Murkrow’s Japanese name, Yamikarasu, you will see that there is no similarity between the two names.

Murkrow IS the worst Dark type in the game though...and that's just sad.

What would you do if you found out that Murkrow had a pre -evo. I will explode, I'm happy that Sneasel has an Evo because my Sneasel gets knocked out quickly also. And its not by its "Super Effictive Moves" ether.

I would either cry or go into a berserk rage. Pokémon do not need weaker versions of themselves, especially Pokémon as weak as Murkrow.

I agree,and I think it's spelled Shino,i think it's a Remake Pidgey/Tailow.
