Mauville Gym (Emerald)

Hey guys im new here and need a tip for Pokemon emerald, ive got to the electric gym in Mauville and carnt beat him, i have a lvl 24 marshstomp, lvl 22 swellow, lvl 25 loudred, lvl 22 aron and lvl 21 machuhita.

Machuhita is the most effective but dies in 2 shots, aron can beat electrike, voltorb selfdestructs and takes out loudred.

I have problem beating magnemite but is machuhita gets a vital throw he takes a good chunk off, when i get to the last pokemon he kicks ass i can nowhere near beat it.

Ive looked all over for a rock pokemon such as Geodude but carnt find one.

So what team did you use to beat him and where can i find a goood rock pokemon

Level up Marshtomp to get a Ground type move. Mud Shot is your best bet, which he should have got at L16.

Yes, Toothy is right. Use your Marshstomp, and you should have an easy battle.
