Story Mode Complete

Who here has finished story mode? (All 48 pokemon pure, story complete) Who here has gotten Ho-Oh?

I managed to finish it awhile back and traded all the pokemon back to my Pokemon Ruby save. :classic:

A bonus disc also landed itself on my lap and now I have Jirachi too :)


Right now I'm training a group of lev 50 pokemon to use in colloseum battle modes.

Yup I'm done with it and I have Ho-oh, too. I have traded all the Pokemon to my Ruby as well. I am probably going to restart my Story mode so that I can attempt to get the Pokemon at different genders.

I Started Over Because My Team Sucked(I beat the Game By Using Lots Of Full Restores)But Before I Did I Transfered My Female Tyranitar Over To My Shappire.

Yeah, after you beat Shadow Leader you can beat the leader again if you beat the trainers before him as well as him again. (When I say the trainers before him, I mean the trainers in the Tower colosseum that you fight before him)

I beat story mode and purified, now getting through mt. battle in colosseum mode to get ho-oh.

I beat story mode, purifying all 48 shadow Pokemon and trading them to Sapphire. I haven't got Ho-oh yet, but I will soon. I'm doing the story mode Mt. Battle right now and I finished the first two areas. I'm only taking it one area per day. Sunday I beat Area 1, Monday I beat Area 2, and today I took a break. Tommarow I'm going for Area 3.

I caught all 48 shadow pokemon, but I only have 25 purified. Man, I hate having to go through all that purification.

Yes, that is very evil. my pockets have been emptied of all cash because I spent it all on scents

Yeah, those scents are expensive. and most of the time they rean't nearly worth the money paid for them.

actually, on a few of my pokemon, it got rid of a bubble of shadow energy every time I used the scents... then I remembered: there are pokemon that have DOUBLE negative aginst it... so now, I'm finding the pokemon that like scents, and getting them off my list first

Then yours apparently have personalitis that approve of the scents. I'm unfortunate enough to have personalities that don't approve of the scents. so i have to do it the hard way. (sigh) whoe is me. :(

I ended up with a bashful Tyranitar... I purified with a pokeflute... cause the Shadow meter did not like anything I did to it...

That skarmory is the most evil it wont stay in the ultra ball for anything good thing I just caught it.

Skarmory is the scurge of Colloseum, To put it simply. he's the most troubhle to catch. beating this game is really hard in certain ways. And the difficulty may vary from person to person depending solely on the personality of the pokemon caught.

Hey sparks.. what method of purifying does Bashful like best? I know you have the guide. while you are at it, can you check Bold as well?

Bashful likes cologne massage best and bold like being included in the party best. (I also have the guide book.)

...... I tried the scent method with tyranitar.... didn't work.. and I've got a resistant Bold Ledian that is waiting for the meter to empty.. actually, I only have 24 purified...

I found that pokemon that usually come from high ranking Cipher members are usually harder to purify. That may be why your tyranitar is giving you such trouble.

behold the all mighty time flute.. anyways, if that was true, why was Houndoom so dang easy for me and sparks? put him in battle a few dosen times, and that was all that was needed.

Thats why you use a time flute on him to make it easier. Plus my tyranitar is purfied by day care and is already purified woth no effort from me.

But houndoom didn't come from a Cipher admin, nor from the final two bosses. They where who I meant by high ranking. Though I also found that the higher the level, the more difficult they are as well. That is why I'm working with my lower levels first.

*looks at shadow togetic* so what does that make togetic? came from the final final final boss, and was only at lvl 20.. that was pathetic, I won it all with groudon, and watched as togetic nearly murderd itself with Shadow rush...

By final two, I meant at realgam tower. I don't really consider the copier a high ranking cipher member.

I did.. considering he looked exactly like the hero charecter... and he was stated in the guide as one of the best.. so what about Deep King and the Shuckle?

Deep king has a hard shuckle to purify. Also where can you find the smeargle in the snagem hideout.

well mrukrow I know belongs to someone in teh shadow pokemon lab. And i know that togetic can't be caught until you've caught all the other ones first. I don't remember where forretress is though. Let me check the book... it's also in the lab.

If you restart your game, you will have to capture and purify all 48 Pokemon again. You can only trade if you have beat the game, and if you start a new game, then the ability to trade is no longer there.

Is it possible to trade pokemon from Colosseum to Ruby? I am just curious.
