My favorite personally is probably Crystal. The only reason I didn't choose Sapphire is because of the lack of Pokémon. You couldn't get Eevee on there! T-T But that doesn't mean it's a bad game.

i happen to like Ru/Sa the most. More complicated = usually better imho. Plus you can get more than the 202 Pokemon with the remakes coming out now. Really i don't play the real game that much but rather to think about a Pokemon team with the new features from Ru/Sa. These new features creat more balances in the game along with new possibilities in battle.

My favourite is Crystal, too many good times with that game, I even have Mew and Celebi on it (through gameshark)

Pokémon Crystal, now maybe if R/S would have Kanto & Johto things could of been different.
