Pokemon - Finity Islands

Ok, let me clear up a few things first. A year or so ago I joined a fantastic community RPG set in the Orange Island's. It quickly became my all time favorite, but sadly it came to a slow death. So now after much waiting for it to be revived I have decided to make a new one.

Pokemon - Finity Islands

The Islands: Consisting of five major Islands all interconnected by a seris of underwater caves and water ways. and a few smaller Islands settleling around each Island. The Islands are as follows ;
Finite Isle - The lagest of the five Isle's as it is 4 miles wide and 5 miles long, It is the center of Trade and Social Gathering. Also the home of an Unindexed Gym(Meaning a Gym whom's badge is just for show)
Sile Chain Isle - Not much smaller than Finite, this Isle meassures 2 miles wide and 4 miles long. Some Finity Isle Experts say that this Isle is actualy the largest considering its vast chain of under water caves(Most of witch are unexplored and off limits to all Islander's.) The rest of the Isle is covered in dense forest.
Transveral Isle - The second hotest social spot of the Finity Island's. This is the first stop for tourist's as it is where The S.S. Copper drops off its load of passengers twice a year. It is also the center of transportation between Islands, and the only spot for hotels within the finity Islands.
Cranny and Tablet Isle - The most noteable tourist attraction are these two Islands, in witch are abundent in wild pokemon, and cave mazes. Guided tours are taken troughout the forests and caves of These Islands, but they have been mapped out and deemed safe for anyone to wander alone in. The Water that seperates these two Islands are a hot spot for swiming.

Story - Being that this is a community RP there isnt truely a solid story. Instead you are to build your own stories based off realionships and personal issues. Once everyone is well met and has a solid base story for themselves, the full interwined story will begin as follows. A mysterious precesence has been recently decovevered on Sile Chain Isle, and It has attarcted quite alot of attention from pokemon athorities. Although Islanders are unaware of what's going on, suspsion's rise as Security is increased, and the fate of the finity Islands as well as the entire world lie's in the mystery of the presence.

Apperence - A thirteen year old kid. Average height. Skinny. Blue Eyes. Black hair.
Personality - Kind of quiet, yet open to friends.
History - Sort of a new trainer.
Origin - From Fallarber Town, Hoenn Region
Reason/Popouse - Came on a vacation.
Pokemon - Torchic, Lotad.
RP Sample - As the shady trainer approached me, I called out my Pokemon. "Go, Bulbasaur!" The trainer sent out a Bagon. The bagon looked like it was trained with much discipline. No way Bulbasaur could win, but I gave it my best shot. "Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur shot out two vines from under his bulb. The vines constricted the Bagon, but it shot out flames directly at Bulbasaur. My prediction was correct, Bulbasaur had been knocked out by the immense flames.

She usualy wears a white trench coat with a blue tank top and skirt.

Personality -Quiet, but kind hearted when you get her trust.
History -Rain grew up in Viridian City Kanto, no one is entirely sure who her parents are, though she grew up with the Kanto champion Lance.
Orgin - She is a newcomer, no one is entirely sure why she came to the islands.
Reason/Popouse - Anyone's guess, though there is a rumor that she came to escape a war.
Pokemon - Salamence (Ruby), Dragonite (Serena), Blaziken (Hera), Milotic (Mystic), Kingdra (Queenie), Flygon (Rina). All are female, Ruby is technicaly a Shiny pokemon, but is Black and Gold, and also has a dark secret.
RP Sample -

Rain looks out at the sea over the railing of her boat the Seacliff with a sigh.

"Such a beautiful day," she says. "The sea has its own mystic quality to it, its almost intoxicating."

Ruby nudges her slightly, and Rain smiles, petting the mighty dragon on the head.

"It'll be okay, old friend," she says with a smile. "Assuming the war dosen't follow us to where we're going, then again, we do need a vacation."

Ruby nods, and the boat travels on through the sea, heading towards its next destination.)

Name: Brian Cardullo

Age:21

Apperence: A tall and burly man with a mane of dark red hair streaming down his back, tied off into a ponytail. He bears a rough, scarcely trimmed goatee surrounding his mouth. Dark brown eyes full of compassion and a gentle look decorate his face. A slight bulge protrudes from his belly.

Personality: A calm and carefree person, Brian is frequently appraoched for advice from many due to his "wisdom", or so people believe he possess. He is hard-working and honorable, never lieing and turning the other cheeck to wrong doers. His trust can be difficult to gain, but is also easily shattered.

History: The son of an extreme gym leader, his overbearing father as pushed him away from being a pokemon trainer and more towards living out his carefree life, doing as he pleases. He is acompanied by his faithfull friends Dratini, Cubone and Mudkip where ever he goes. He left home at 17 to assume the life of a wanderer, going where ever he pleases with no worries.

Orgin: Traveling to Cranny and Tablet Island.
Reason/Popouse: Going to Cranny & Tablet Island to start a new life of being a small stall owner and being with his few friends.

Pokemon: Dratini, Cubone and Mudkip.

RP Sample:
"The sun was just begining to rise above the mountain top, the sea shimmering a bright, scarlet red. Brian walked through the woods of Cranny & Tablet Isle looking for berries to feed his pokemon and stock his stall for the day. He reached down to grab a few Pecha berries when he was suddenly attacked by a Beedrill!
'Dratini, go!' He tossed a pokeball into the air and a small serpent-like creature appeared in a bright flash. 'Dratini, use Slam!' He jumped at the Beedrill which was able to dogde the attack with his agile body, then strike back with Poison Sting! Dratini took a direct hit and was severely poisoned. 'Try Flamethrower!' A stream of fire shot from Dratini's mouth, striking the Beedrill and knocking it out for the time being.
Bending over, Brian retrieved the Pecha Berry and fed it to Dratini to help his poisoning. 'Good job, friend. Good job.' He patted Dratini on the head and the two continued their stroll through the woods as the sunlight began to shine through the tree tops, illuminating the path before them.'

Age - 16
Apperence - Short blonde uncombed hair. Deep blue eyes, and light skin. Standing in the dark his blue eyes can be seen to almost give off a dim glow.
Personality - Rather quiet, and emotinaly distant. Curtis is quick witted and has a Strong caring heart. Yet he seems to not show his true feelings or say what he's really thinking. He always knows more than he lets on, and can easily judge a persons character and past just by looking into there eyes. It is these qualities that have earned him the title of Finity Gym Leader. But due to his lack of communitcation and usual seperation form people he can be precived as "The Bad Guy"
History - At the age of six both of his parent's disappeared, leaving him alone in Pallet town with no where to go. Prof. Oak quickly took him in, and began to teach him everything he knew about pokemon, and battling. Oak's sercet meetings left him pretty much alone at the lab for day's at a time. It was in these day's that he learned the most about life, pokemon, and the many mysteries that inhabbit the world. Uppon reaching the age of 11 Curtis set off on his venture to learn all he could about pokemon. In three years time he had traveled and beaten four sets of gyms. But it wasn't until he was 15 untill he moved to the Finity Islands to take up a Gym Leader spot, for the elite group of trainers. Still today even at his young age he is a leading pokemon reasearcher.

Age - Twelve

Apperence - Zak has aan average height and light skin. He wears a dark T-shirt and white shorts along with a red backpack. Zak has dark eyes and always wears a blue hat to hide his light hair.

Personality - Zak is a friendly person but can get very impatient when people start ignoring him.

History - Born in the busy Goldenrod City in Johto, Zak lived a boring city life training his Pokemon. Bored, he eventually left and went to Finite Isalnd because his grandparent`s lived there.

Orgin - New Comer

Reason/Popouse - To catch new Pokemon and have experiences

RP Sample- ` Pikachu use Thunderbolt` Zak shouted as his Pikachu tried to shock his opponent`s Squirtle. It hit directly and the squirtle quickly fainted.
Zak shaked hand`s with his opponent before retreating his Pikachu in his PokeBall.

Zak was on a boat heading for Finite Island. He turned his head towards the front of the boat and in the horizon saw his destination. Only a few more min utes and he would be there.

As the wind slowly blew across my face, my mind raced with thought's. Most of witch included the passengers on the S.S. Copper. It had been quite some time since the last group left, and I did have a small yerning to meet new faces. Possibly even find someone to recive my badge. I laughed at that thought. My head tilted sideways as I was peering off the east coast of Sile Chain Isle. There it was, the ship of the century. In just a few hours new people and pokemon alike would be amounst us once again. Tilting my head back down, I began to walk back to Transversal Isle.

Rain is at the helm of her boat the Seacliff, staring at the harbor of Sile Chain Isle, while most trainers had come on the S.S Copper, Rain had come to avoid an ensuing war in Kanto, and she didnt' want to risk the ship being attacked, and innocent people hurt because of her. Maybe if I'm lucky the Elite didn't follow me this far, she thinks, as the boat pulls up to the docks.

Brian sat snoozing on the deck, a straw hat pulled over his face with the sun shining down upon me. His Dratini was at his side, sleeping peacefully while Mudkip was taking a swim in the ocean and Cubone was chatting with a nearby Pikachu. A loud screech woke Brian. Startled, he bolted upright only to discover he was nearing Transversal Island.
"Might as well go grab my things..." He started below deck to where he left his bag. Approaching it, he lazily hoisted it over his shoulder and climbed back on deck and began to call his pokemon. One by one he returned them to their pokeball and then silently gazed out to see as the S.S Copper neared the port. 'I guess my new life starts now. No more going home.' he thought to himself...

Geting near close to running along Sile Chain Isle's coast, I reached for a pokeball and called out Dragonite. As it expelled from it's Goldish pokeball I hoped on it's back and signaled it to take to the air. It quickled minunvered up and at about 100 feet up it took a glorious dive down to where it was just skiming the water's. I smiled, as I always did when I was with my pokemon. For the breif moment I felt as if my life was more meaningfull and loving then it really was. But then reality kicked back in as I turned my head to see a ship heading to the Island. Strange... Thats not the Copper? A weird vibe went down my spine as though I felt the ship.. or it's passengers where running from somthing. I shook it off and looked ahead as my Dragonite zoomed off into the sky, and toward Transversal Isle.

Relax Rain, you came here for vacation, not to continue the war... crap, they couldn't have followed me this far, she thinks, and her blood runs cold as she notices the Dragonite, one of her enemies had a Dragonite, but she then relaxes as she sees that its someone else other than the red-haired Dragon Champion Lance. I really need this vacation, I'm freaking out about nothing, she thinks, as she docks her boat, and walks out onto the island, taking in a breath of air. I wonder what's to do around here, she thinks, and starts walking around the island.

The sun shined brightly as the boat was about to dock into Finite Island.
He walked off the boat and and onto the clean sand. In the distance he saw his grandparent`s home.It was easily distinguised from everything else because it was made of black brick.

He walked to the small old house, he knocked on the hard wooden door and out come his grandparents. he looked at them and realized they had long scars on the face and legs. Zak walked in saying nothing.

I crossed the gangplank and disembarked the S.S Copper, sucking in a deep breath of relief, realizing I no longer had to deal with my irksome father. I decided to take a stroll through the town and get aquintated with my new home. After chatting with a few of the locals, I found a spot where I could start my new business, whatever that might be, then decided to catch the next boat to Cranny & Tablet Isle to find a home. I lazily walked to docks and found a seaman who agreed to take me across the sea.

RP sample-

It is my third battle today. I am choosing now which three Pokemon I should choose. I knew I was going to use Enpeturo, of course, but what others should I choose? Mantine and Lobre are worn out, I used them in the other battles. I guess I will use....Floatsel and....Toritodon.

I went out into the Colosseum and heard the crowd roaring. The person I was battling (a young kid, 12, no, 10 years old at the most) Had a freightineng look on his face, like he was about to give in.

Suddenenly he threw his GreatBall out and said,"Come on out, Ampharos!" I said,"Okay! Let's do it, Floatsel!" the kid looked amazed. His expression was saying to me, 'Wow! where did you get that it looks so cool! I wish I could have one just like it!' I ordered Floatsel," Let's hit his Ampharos with a hydro pump." the kid said," Let it hit you Ampharos! It won't effect much!" I said under my breath, "Perfect...." Then I said aloud," C'mon lets go on with a sing attack!" "You've gotta dodge it!" the Ampharos dodged it and I said,"Now! Attack with a slash!" Floatsel wen't at it at top speed and directly hit Ampharos.... a critical hit. Ampharos crashed into the ground then it fainted. The kid said,"Okay Ampharos return. You did a good job!" I said,"Okay let's come in the PokeBall now you did good." The kid sent out a Marowak next, so I decided to send out my Toritodon, I thought it was a good choice.

I ordered,"Use a magnitude!" this was a strong magnitude. The strongest one I have seen in all of my life. It was calculated to be a magnitude 14! The floor cracked and from all of that both Pokemon fainted. The ref said that we must discontinue the battle. I said," But it must go on!"

I sent out my Floatsel and he sent out his last Pokemon-Chimecho."Hah! This will end soon!",I said. "Chimecho! Use sing then attack with psyhic until it faints!" I let it happen but I could take out Chimecho in one hit with Empeturo. Floatsel fainted and I sent out Enpeturo. He was amazad,once again. I told Empeturo to use steel headbut. He was too slow and got hit with a direct screech. Of course he got confused! He kept on hurting himself and soon fainted. Leaving the kid a winner.

Dragonite Flew high above Transversal occasinaly taking small dives so I could better see the new arivials. I didn't see many, but I did happen to see Field. He was among the many people that I didn't like to much. We didn't have much history together but we knew each other since my arival. Wind blew across my face as I turned my head to see someone I didn't quite know. He was a big man with long red hair. That vibe again? I got the sence that he to was running from some thing. I shook my head, and Dragonite took another plundge downward right next to the boat that the red haired man was about to board. After just barly touching the water Dragonite Tilted skyward and rose off once again. This time we where high enough to just barely make out the out line of all 5 Islands. Being up this high made me notice that I hadn't seen the boat I first saw off the Coast of Sile Chain. With a sigh I signaled Dragonite to take off once again to the restrited Isle.

I looked up to see a strang man riding on a Dragonite's back, flying up into the sky as if the try and reach the heavens. I smiled briefly then boarded the boat. Finding a bench, I released my pokemon and began napping as the boat began to slowly head towards Cranny & Tablet Isle. I could hear Dratini and Cubone arguing about something while Mudkip dove into the sea. Smiling again, I dozed off into a realm of dreams and fantasy.

Rain removes a pokeball from her belt, and tosses it. "Go, Ruby!" She says, and her black and gold Salamence is released in a burst of light. Rain climbs on the dragon's back, and gives her a pat on the head. "Well, might as well take some time to explore our new surroundings, Ruby, fly!" She commands, and the dragon spreads her wings, and they take off. There's that guy with his Dragonite again, I wonder who he is, she thinks.

Exameing the horrizen I saw a girl on a salmerance, and the boat not to far behind. Dragonite sped forward and swooped arounrd the flying Slamerance in a playfull fashion. I looked into the girls eyes, and was almost in shook at the colors of her salmerance, but I showed no signs of emotion. "This area is off limit's to all public." I stated in a firm manor. "Im going to have to ask you to leave."

"My appologies sir, I'm vacationing here from Kanto," Rain says, showing her identification, which shows her as a Lieutenent in the Kanto Anti-Elite Resistance. "I just don't know my way around these islands yet, that's all. I'm Rain Skylark, and this is my Salamence Ruby."

Ruby is looking a little nervously at the Dragonite, unsure of what to make of the dragon pokemon.

"Rain, and Ruby is it?" My Dragonite slowly began to circle the flying duo. Ignoring the Id, I went on. "This Island is strictly off limits to the Public." As her head followed me the vibe came over me again. I paused for abput five seconds before shaking it off again. "I suguest you get back in your boat and move along to Transversal Isle. There are sign's along the way." I took another pause. "If your caught on or by this Island again, the consecuenes will be much more sereve." Dragonite sped ahead and quickly jolted around facing the girl on my signal. "Welcome to Finity Island's." Dragonite backfliped upward and sped off into the distance back toward Transversal.

"Well, he was polite," Rain says sarcasitcaly, and Ruby nods in agreement. "Well, might as well take his advice, lets go Ruby," she says, and they return to their boat, and go off towards Transversal island. However, I gotta wonder, he was deffinately hiding something, but what? she thinks as they follow the signs to the island. I'm probably just being paranoid, 2 years fighting the Elite 4, and the war is starting to come out into the open, she thinks, looking at a photo of a younger girl. Yellow, what have you gotten yourself into?

As Dragonite flew ocasinaly taking a few playfull turns and dives I be gan to dig into my memory. That girl... I felt I had seen her before. Today just hadn't been my day. First these vibes, now this dejavu crap. I let out a sigh as Dragonite flew over Transversal. It swooped and dived playfully as it always did when I rode it's back. it had little to no clue how much its playfull additude helped me everyday.

I really do need this vacation, at least the Elite 4 haven't made any moves to attack me yet, Rain thinks. The last thing I need is to deal with one of their armies, on my own, she says, looking out at the ocean, Ruby flies overhead, looking worriedly at her trainer.

Rain's been nervous ever since we left Kanto, she thinks. This war has taken its toll on her, but she needs to be more carefull, or she'll start rushing into things before thinking about them.

(You'll find that there's more things different about Ruby than just her coloring, for example, she can speak perfect english, which is part of the before mentioned dark secret.)

I stood on the edge of the bow as the S.S. Copper approached it's destination. A person who looked my age came to me. He noticed the two pokeballs hanging from my belt. "I see you're a trainer. 'ow about a battle?" I nodded. The trainer sent out a Squirtle. Having seen his first pokemon was a water type, I sent out my Lotad. Squirtle used a bubblebeam. It barely hurt Lotad. Lotad used absorb. It healed Lotad for the little damage the bubble caused. Squirtle lowered it's head and used a skull bash. I commanded Lotad to get out of the way, but he was not fast enough. Lotad was in critical condition. I told Lotad to use another absorb. Being that Lotad was my newest Pokemon, he ignored my order and jumped off the boat! Squirtle jumped in after it. They began to battle underwater. I couldn't see what was happening. Lotad floated to the top of the water, having been knocked out by the Squirtle. The trainer and I called back our Pokemon. "Pathetic." he murmured as he walked away. I vowed that the next time I saw him, I would not let him win.

Upon reaching Cranny & Tablet Isle, I walked off the man's boat, paying him a meager tip as I left. I asked him about a hotel and he pointed me in the right direction. I purchased a room for the week, having no home of my own. The room only cost me 350poke, so things are good. I left my bags in the room and headed out in search of a berry forest. Calling out my pokemon, I instructed them to keep an eye out for berries. 'Hopefully they wont eat all of them', I thought to myself, smiling.

Peering down at the crowd, the thoughts of the vibe entered my mind once again. Are they all running from somthing? No... But will they? I took a breth of air and saw the boat from Sile Chain heading toward's Transversal. Turning my head to the left I saw the boat the red haired man boarded docked on Cranny Isle. A school of remoraid could be seen swiming along in the clear waters below me. The sight of them reminded me of what a beautiful day it was. My head turned toward the direction the wind blew. I saw a crowd gathering down by one of the information koist's. They where most likly hearing about the history and rules of the Islands, as well as the go to spot's, in witch included my gym. I smiled at the thought of some hot shot trainer attemting to get my badge. In my time here not one person had been able to get it. Even if they did it would be usless to them. They probroly havn't even heard legends of the Union.

Rain docks her boat at the island, Ruby lands next to her. Lets hope we can at least do some relaxing, before anything else happens, she thinks, and goes over to an information Kiosk after recalling Ruby. There's a gym on Finite island, huh? she thinks, remembering back to the Gyms in Kanto. This might be interesting to check out later, she thinks, and continues on her way.

The sun was begining to set and my pack was getting heavy. 'I've done good today...' I thought to myself. 'Oran, Stirus, Peacha, Cheri, Rawst and Leppa... Yeah, this will be good for my first day. Lots of berries trainers need to keep their pokemon in battle.' I tossed Dratini a couple of Pinap Berries I had picked, and gave Cubone some Bulk Berries and Mudkip a few Cheri; those were their favourites. Suddenly a flock of Spearow attacked me! 'Now I've done it... Thou hath no fury like angered Spearow...' I said. I quickly jumped into action, going from my carefree state into a hyped up, battle ready trainer. "Alright, lets go! Dratini, use Tunderwave on the few to left! Mudkip, Water Gun to the right and Cubone, Skull Bash right down the middle!" I was filled with a feeling of ectasy seeing my friends battle so valiently against the hoard of angered Spearow. One by one my foes fell. They didn't stand a chance against my teams power. After all had fallen, I decided I'd catch one to add to my. Tossing the pokeball at the last to fall, he was quickly captured and became another one of my friends. I headed home, the sun at my back. Me and my pokemon took a well deserved rest, for tomorrow we'd start our new life and business.

As Dragonite flew over the waters between Transversal and Cranny Isle, I noticed a flock of angered Spearow swooping violently from the sky into Cranny's Forest. with a hand motion Dragonite quit playing around and zoomed off to the sky just above the spearow. I watched closly carfull not to get involved once I saw the Red haired man. He knew what he was doing to my surprize. He seemed like a very skillfull trainer, but somthing about him told me he did not want to accept that. I smiled as I saw he caught one of the spearow, not exactly because I was glad for him, but it would be intresting seeing him try to train it. Pokemon caught round these parts take alot of convicing to do what there told. I believe it has somthing to do with there protected enviroment, who would like to be captured if your already in paradice?

Rain leaves the island, this time she is headed for Finite island, accompanying her is a girl around her age with long blue hair, and wearing a red jumpsuit.

"Rain, your getting a little paranoid about this whole thing," the girl says, placing a hand on Rain's shoulder.

"We fight a war for two years, and in a matter of one day, the whole Kanto region knows about it," Rain grumbles. "What if the Elite know we're here and sent an agent, or worse, an army after us?" She points out. "I don't want any more blood spilled on my acount."

The sun was geting to the far west in the sky, and I decided to head in. After all There would probroly be a big swarm of people at the gym tomorow. Dragonite tilted it's wings back and flew off at high speed skiming the water as it made it's way to finite isle. I smiled as the wind impacted my face and the fading sun shone its ray's on my face. Just before reaching finite's beach draonite lifted off the water as to not hit the oncoming sand. It flew low between the buildings and lifted up at high speed's to avoid contact with two wandering girls. It flew about 20 feet ahead of them before reaching the roof of my gym. I jumped off its and landed on the roof, and Dragonite took off yet again for an evening of fun. The Sun behind my siloueted my body as I over looked the Island before I tured around and walked inside my gym.

A few minutes later, the doors to the gym open, and Rain Skylark walks in, once again alone. I wonder what I should expect from the Gym Leader, all the leaders in Kanto had a set type, and sometimes strategy, but I don't know about here, she thinks, looking around. "Hello? I'm here to compete for a badge."

Allready? I thought to my self as I walked down the stairs into the traning hall. The hall was all white with closed doors leading to seperate room's, and two glowing torches at the entrance. There was two sets of stairs on both sides of the hall leading up to a top floor, where most of the badge battles took place. I took a look at the challenger. "It's you..." I walked up to her, and with a stern voice again(Unlike the one I used before) "I'm sorry, but the gym is closed at the moment."

"Then may I ask when it will be open again?" She asks. How do I keep running into this guy? she wonders to herself. "You might want to try locking the front door if its closed," she points out. "And yes its me, though I have to wonder why we keep running into each other like this, its getting weird."

Name - Hiker
Age -25
Apperence - Portly man, almost always with a smile on his shaggy-bearded face. Wears hiking boots, cargo pants, and a safari vest.
Personality - Funloving. Loves his pokemon companions, and can be serious if extremely neccessary.
History - Hiker was born into a family of mountaineers. His love of nature began when he was on a hike with his father. He met a Scyther on that trip, and befriended him instantly. Scyther and Hiker traveled across the lands, meeting new pokemon, discovering new mountain trails, and soaking up all the nature that they could throughout their journey. When Hiker returned to his home to show his father the pokemon companions he had befriended on his journey, he arrived to see the forest ravaged, his family gone, replaced with a factory for Team Rocket research. Hiker, in a mad fit of rage attacked the Rocket facility with his pokemon, failing miserably. Hiker had lost his family, and his best friend Scyther seemed to be missing among the heep of metal and scrap. Hiker had lost all hope, and went to the nearby village. There, he learned that Team Rocket had killed his family. Hiker again traveled to the facility, this time with other trainers to try once more the impossible task set before him. Things seemed grim, until from the metal, Scyther, now Scizor, emerged, and Team Rocket was defeated.
Now, Hiker continues doing what he loves, hiking, and journeying throughout the lands, with his family's memory deeply imbedded in his mind.

Origin - Coming to the island for vacation.
Reason/Popouse - Hiker is coming to the island to get away from his old home, and to travel in the forests of the Finity Islands.

"Well buddy, we're almost there!" Hiker spoke in his gruff voice to his companion and best friend, Scizor, "land is just ahead. Ah the forests look so dense and beautiful! I can't wait buddy!"
"Scizor! Scizor!" the Pokemon agreed happily.
"Attention all passengers," a voice said over the the intercom, "we will be reaching land momentarily, so please make your way to the boarding terminal. The SS Copper thanks you once again for choosing us, and please have a safe and exciting journey!"
"Oh I sure hope it is an exciting journey old pal! We wouldn't have it any other way now would we?" Hiker chuckled.
Once again, Scizor's grin beamed.

"Sure thing, just don't expect an easy victory," Rain says, opening one side of her trench coat which shows all 8 of the Kanto badges. I remeber I had to track Giovanni down for a month just to get his badge, she thinks, shaking her head at the memory. "Go, Hera!" She says, tossing her pokeball, and letting out her Blaziken.

"Your not in Kanto anymore girl. I took a few steps back and randomly tossed one of the two pokeballs in my pocket out. It was and all Black ball that gave off a bluish glow. I knew it to be Gangar. Sure enough, gangar poped out ready for battle. "Gangar, why don't you show Rain how we battle in this gym." It smiled and its eyes turned blue. Slowly all the walls seemed to dissappear into a darkness, and gave the feeling of floating. The only part of Gangar that could be see where its glowing blue eyes. "Much better, pal."

Stepping off the boat, Hiker immediately saw a crowd of people running towards a large building. "Hm, wonder what's going on there," Hiker said, more to himself than Scizor, "wanna go check it out?"
With a nod, Scizor began walking towards the building.
"The sign reads: Gym," Hiker told his friend, "maybe there's a battle inside. Wanna go watch buddy?"
"Scizor!" agreed the pokemon, his smile almost as bright as the sun shining off of his red armor.

A Gengar? Not the first time I've faced one, Rain thinks. "I hate to break it to you, but your looking at a girl who faces the Elite 4 almost on a daily basis, and this isn't the first time I've beaten a Gengar, however, this is rather impressive. Now Hera, what do you say we shed some light on this situation, first use Bulk Up and Focus Energy in combination, and then wait," she says, and Hera glows golden, then stands still, waiting for any further orders.

"Wow! I guess there is a battle. Excuse me, miss," Hiker said to a nearby woman, "what's going on here?"
"Well Zerro is about to show this trainer who is the master of the gym."
"Zerro?" Hiker asked dumbfoundedly.
Gasps arose from crowd in disbelief.
"Is it something I said?" Hiker asked Scizor.
"How can you not know Zerro!" the same woman berated.

Elite 4? The dejavu was back. I know her? No... I had a puzzled look on my face but I quickly shook it off. "My Gangar is rather differnt from most." As I spoke Gangar closed its eyes making it invisable. "You see most are rather strong." Wind swooped by Hera first on the left side, and seconds later on the right. "Most of them are also rather quickwitted." Gangar's laugh echoed throughout the darkness. "But you see... Mine is so much more." Gangar was following my words like I was comanding him through my speech. His eyes opened as I finished my sentence revealing the blue glow. But as my smile widened more sets of bluish eyes started poping p around the the room. "Huant them Gangar...'s."

After Gengar's amazing move, the crowds attention was back on the battle, and away from Hiker's foolishness.
"Man, Scizor, that Zerro guy is pretty good, if that IS Zerro."
Scizor agreed, with a look of excitement in his eyes.

"Impressive, even Agatha couldn't have done better," Rain says with a slight grin. "But every strategy has a weakness, its all a matter of finding it. Hera, concentrate your Ki energy, and find the real Gengar!" Rain commands, and Hera closes her eyes, and focuses her energy, trying to figure out where the opponent is. If this dosen't work, I can always try and attack, Rain thinks.

The way she is battleing... It seem's soo... Fimilar. "Gangar's, Shadowball then teleport position's!" About 50 Shadow balls raced toward Hera, every single one hiting. But my goal was not to damage her with the Shadowball, witch explained why none of them did. But my the real attack was coming from behind. Gangar slashed the back of hera and jumped off teleporting to another postion amounst the rest of the blue eye's. "Concentraion is only for the weak minded. It's those that are fully aware that will emegre victorious." I was unaware of Hera's state after the critical hit, so I waited for the next move.

"This Curtis guy sure is somethin ain't he, pal?" Hiker asked Scizor, who was too busy staring blankly at the battle, "buddy?" Hiker asked again, but Scizor was too captivated by the battle to respond.
Thoughts raced through Scizor's mind, how long had it been since he had been in battle? Months perhaps?
Scizor was not fond of battle, but on this occasion, for some unknown reason, he felt the urge to fight.
"Scizor?" Hiker pleaded, trying to get his companion's attention.
But Scizor kept staring.

"But who is the bigger fool, the fool, or the fool who follows him?" Rain asks, and in the split second that it took for the attack to hit, Flare blasts the Gengar with an Overheat attack. "A warriors greatest strength is not physical, but how well she has trained herself mentally brute force and suprise tactics won't work against me. You just made a mistake, Hera, use Flamethrower!" Rain commands, and Hera sends a blast of fire at the spot that Gengar was teleporting to. "And since the teleportation is still in mid-transition, you have no way to call it off."

(And if I may say so, Slash is a normal attack and wouldn't be as effective against Hera, who is Fire/Fighting.)

I was amazed at her knowledge, and then things started connecting. She battle's like Lance... "If you think a flamethrower will do us in... Your wrong Gangar and all his copies where kneling as though they were hurt. "Dead Wrong." With thoughs words Gangar began to laugh again. "Switch up your positions Gangar." It closed its eyes anlong with it's copies and pranced weightless lessly before opening it's eyes simutaniously with its copies. "All of you! Use Toxic!"

(BTW I have seen miricals done with Slashes Crit. hit rate lol :p)

Rain is still unnerved. "Hera, Mirror Move!" she commands, and Hera crosses her arms, and a reflective shield appears, the Toxic attacks it it, only to be deflected back at the Gengar. Ironic that I lost the Kanto League 2 years ago because of that combo, she thinks to herself, remembering her battle against Dr. O, who later turned out to be Professor Oak, when she first competed in the Kanto League.

(I'm aware of how Mirror move works in the game or show, this is more based off of the Manga.)

Hiker gave up trying to gain Scizor's attention, and instead diverted his attention to the battle. "Hm, guess it is quite a battle, but why would Scizor be so fixed on it?" Hiker wondered, but the though disappeared as he heard a loud voice, and one of the people in the crowd greeted the boy who just entered as "Zak".
"This must be some battle for so many people to come here," Hiker thought to himself.

"You just don't give up, do you?" Gangar closed it's eyes and easily dodged the slowly reflected attaked, all other copies did the same. "End this game Gangar's." The Gangar sourounded Hera, and used hypnosis. The attack was unaviodable, given the current state. "Now thunder."

I woke up in a cold sweat, my body trembling. 'Not again... these damn nightmares... why..?' I thought to myself. I got up and dressed myself. I grabbed Dratini's pokeball and called him out, "C'mon, lets go for a little walk." I caught a boat to Finite Isle to scope out the scenes. Upon paying the boater, I soon learned a gym battle was going, so I decided I might as well check it out since there was nothing better to do. As me and Dratini entered, the eerie silence of the spectators told us this was an intense battle. Climbing the stairs, I saw two young people battling it out, the blond boy using a Gengar and the young women with a Blaziken. I watched intently, not wanting to miss a moment of this climactic battle.

The moment that the thunder attacks reached the spot where Hera was standing, Rain had already recalled the Fire pokemon, and floating in its place was her Flygon Rina, who absorbs the attacks, and shruggs them off. "In my line of buisness, finishing a battle can mean life or death, and while those stakes aren't present here, I can still use my experience to fight back, after all, where's the fun in giving up, when the battle's just getting started. Rina, attack with Earthquake!" Rain commands, and the arena floor begins shaking as Rina lets out a roar.

Gangar levitated up. And was about to use another move before I called out to him. "Stop!" Gangar was confused. "Those words..." I muttered to myself. "Gangar shake this Illusion off." The room returned to its normal state for the two of us, and Gangars copies disappeared. I walked in front of gangar before I relized that our battle had drawn quite the crowd. "You know Lance don't you?" Upon taking in the surroundings after the question I noticed that it had gotten dark outside.

"Hey! That battle was awesome!" protested the crowd after seeing that the fighting had ceased.
"Boy that sure was some fight, I hope it finished, eh Scizor?" Hiker said to his pokemon, but Scizor was gone.
"What has got into him today!" Hiker said angerly as he began looking through the crowd to find his friend.

Rain's tough demeanor falters at the mention of Lance, a small tear runs down her cheek. "Yes, I know him, or at least I thought I did. He was my best friend while growing up, but then one day, something happened," Rain says with a sigh. "He found a Dratini in the forest one day, it was badly hurt by the Pollution from a nearby construction project, something in him changed that day, and the Lance I knew, even fell in love with, died. In his place is what exists now, a dragon trainer manipulated by his own emotions, his own anger towards humans and pollution, an eco-terrorist" Rain says. "He might've once been my friend, but he and the Elite 4 must be stopped, before the Genocide begins."

A little taken aback by the openess of Rain I responded, "Oh." I took a look the crowd that had gathered. "Free buffet for everyone." I announced pointing up stairs suddenly rembering that the Tourist party hosted at the gym was what most likly attarcted the crowd to begin with. I turned to Rain recalling my Gangar. "Feelings are also for the weak minded." I turned around and began to walk out the door's. "We can finish this later. I can't waste anymore time playing games with you."

Hiker ran up to the girl and Curtis, not noticing the emotions both had on their faces.
"Hi, sorry to interrupt, but have either of you seen a Scizor? He's about yay-high, and he's got red armor. He looks like every other Scizor. He's not a bad pokemon! He just ran off and I don't know why!" Hiker asked, getting worried about his friend.
"I don't know whats gotten into him."

Hearing their conversation, I took pity on them... 'Why the hell would someone go ahead and tell of their dark past to a total stranger, and even worse, in front of a crowd? And "Feelings are for the weak-minded?" Who is this joke trying to fool...' I thought to myself. I shook my head, my mane of hair swaying behind me as I turned and began to walk out of the gym. "Dratini, lets get back to the hotel."

"Feelings aren't a sign of weakness!" Rain shouts at the retreating Gym Leader. "Only a heartless snob shows no feeling, and its that foolishness that won't get you far as a trainer. Being a trainer is more than just winning or losing, its about caring for your pokemon, its about love!" She says, recalling her Flygon, and running after him. "Until you learn that, we will never battle again," she says, and leaves the gym in an angry fury.

"Check around, he can't be far." I firmly stated before backing out of the gym's door away from the crowd.Rain came running after, and I responded to her satements in as firm a manor as ever. "So be it, your loss. But I'll have you know you can't run from the truth. Sooner or later life cathces up to you."

I walked under the rising moon with thoughts racing through my head. What the hell was she talking about? I turned onto a dark street so get further away from all the excitment. She was running... But does that mean all my other feelings where right to? I jumped on a ledge and then onto a higher one untill I reached the top of a house roof. I laid back stareing at the sky with my feet dangling. Maybe..

"Well, I've had enough excitement for one day..." I said softy. "Time to get some sleep. I'll need it to start up my business tomorrow, but, I'm sure I'll be fine." I said smiling. Crossing the sea one last time for the night, I walked to the hotel room and crawled into bed for the night. "I really need to buy my own boat..." I said chuckling.

"Scizor!" Hiker continued calling out. He eventually stepped outside, hoping Scizor was there, and he was. But Scizor was acting strangely, attacking a trainer and his small Machamp.
"Scizor! Stop it!" Hiker exclaimed, but Scizor shot him an angry glare before flying up to the roof tops and fleeing.

The nerve of some people, even the Elite 4 realize that pokemon should be raised with love and respect, well, Bruno is questionable, but if you want your pokemon to respect you as a trainer, it is the best way to go, she thinks, looking at the Luxury Ball that holds Ruby. Ever since Lance changed, my only friends have been my pokemon, I'd give anything to have that guy spend a day in my shoes, and learn what its really like to live away from all this fanfare and glory, to be a soldier in a never-ending war, she thinks, and sees Hiker and his Scizor, watching it fly above the rooftops. "This is bad," she says, going over to Hiker. "Do you need any help?"

[Hiker]

"Sure do ma'am, my Scizor's been acting up lately, and now he's off to the roof tops and attacking innocent pokemon and people!" Hiker replied to the offer of help.
"We need to get up there and give him chase before he can hurt anyone else."Grabbing a pokeball from his belt, Hiker released Charmeleon. "Charmeleon, go find Scizor!" Hiker said to the fire breathing lizard.
"Charmeleon!" the pokemon replied.

"Go Ruby," Rain says, tossing the Luxury Ball she was carrying, and lets out her black and gold Salamence, Rain climbs onto her back. "You can come along with me," Rain says. "I'm Rain Skylark, by the way," she says. We have to be carefull, Scizor is potentialy dangerous, we have to make sure that we can take it down before too many innocent people are attacked, she thinks.

Anytime now Dragonite... I thought right before Dragonite backfliped into veiw. I smiled at the sight of him. "Did'ja have fun buddy?" he playfully nudged me as if a yes. "It's that time again." I said my smile fading before I hoped on it's back. With a quick circle Dragonite was off toward Sile Chain. We landed near the center of the Island right next to a cave. "Wait here." Dragonite sat in obedience, as I walked into the cave. I was about five mins in before I called out. "Zazuzee's... I'm here." A low growl could be heard, and the outline of a creature could be seen in the darkness. "All right... Feed..." A vine extended from the darkness and wraped around my ankle. It began to draw the life force out of me slowly. It was carefull to leave me just enough to live and then it backed away. I slowly limped out of the cave before colasping on Dragonite whom flew me back to my home. Just as we have been doing.

"Thanks a bunch ma'am," Hiker said as he climbed onto the powerful dragon. "my name's Hiker, pleasure to meet you."
The two flew around for awhile until they spotted Scizor on a small alcove, prepared to pounce two trainers battling their low leveled Oddish and Growlithe.
"Scizor! Return!" Hiker shouted as he aimed his poke ball towards Scizor, but the powerful pokemon shot the pokeball out of Hiker's hand with pin missle, a move that Scizor mastered in his Scyther days.
"Agh! What has got into you buddy! Don't make me fight you!" Hiker argued as he motioned to Charmeleon.

"Lets try a warning shot, Ruby, use Hyper Beam!" Rain commands, and Ruby sends a massive blast at Scizor, barely grazing him, but any sane pokemon, or human for that matter, would back down after seeing a blast like that. I doubt that Scizor will heed the warning, but its worth a try, Rain thinks, of course she hadn't ever really faced a Scizor before. If worse comes to worse, I can use Hera, she thinks.

[Hiker]

Scizor, angered at the hyper beam, flies incredibly fast at the dragon, hitting it directly with a steel wing.
"Charmeloen! Use ember!" Hiker screamed, "Rain, it'd be best to use a fire type if you have one, that's the only weakness Scizor has ever had, he's one resiliant pokemon."
Charmeleon's ember barely hit Scizor, but it threw his charge off course, causing the metallic bug pokemon to miss the direct attack on Salamence. Scizor's focus was now completely on Charmeleon, and he launched a quick attack combined with metal claw directly towards the lizard.

"I'm a dragon trainer, Hiker, a smart dragon trainer always has a fire pokemon, go Hera!" She shouts, and throws a pokeball, letting out her Blaziken. "Now, use Overheat!" She commands, and Hera sends a massive blast of fire at Scizor. Though when you think about it, Charizard would've worked better with the team, but Blaziken is just as good, she thinks.

[Hiker]

Scizor sees the massive fire attack coming directly towards him.
"Wow! That's one powerful Blaziken!" Hiker exclaims.
Overheat directly hits Scizor, knocking him from his feet, but slowly regains footing. Scizor then fires a pin missle back towards Blaziken, Salamence, Charmeleon, Rain, and Hiker before flying off.
"Well it looks like he wants to have a game of tag," Hiker says.

"Then lets do this Kanto style go Rina and Serena!" She says, tossing an Ultra Ball and a Timer Ball, letting out a Flygon and a Dragonite. "And just in case he tries for the ocean, go Queenie and Mystic!" She finishes up, releasing a Kingdra and a Mylotic into the water. "These pokemon have stood by me ever since I began my journey, so we've been through a lot together, especialy Ruby here," she says, patting her Salamence on the head.

[Hiker]

"Wow, your a fine trainer ma'am. I'm not sure how much I can help, but my pokemon will try their hardest. Mudkip!Chinchou! Head to the water, cut off Scizor's escape. Shellgon, Charmeleon, and Nuzleaf, try to cut him off on the ground."
Though confused as of why they were attacking their friend Scizor, the pokemon willingly obeyed their friend's wishes and went on their way.
"Alright, let's do this."

"Alright, we've done stuff like this before, do a basic sweep of the island, and if you encounter the enemy, activate your tracking devices so we can get an idea of where to head," she says, sounding more like a military commander than anything, then shakes it off as all of her pokemon but Ruby go off in their seperate directions to search for the Scizor. "Tell me Hiker, what do you think could've set this off in your Scizor?"

"I'm not sure ma'am, after watching that battle of yours, he just went into a trance and took off just as it ended. He's never been a fighter, although he can fight with the best of em, he just doesn't like to fight." Hiker explained.
"I don't understand why he would take off like this, he's always been so funloving."

"Okay, and could you please just call me Rain, ma'am makes me feel old," Rain says, and her watch starts beeping, she checks it and nods. "Serena found him, he's at the southern end of the island," she says, and nods to Ruby, who makes a sharp turn south. I guess I should feel a little guilty about this, but if my battle caused it, I have to end this too, she thinks and sighs.

[Hiker]

"Alright ma....I mean Rain." Hiker says as the dragon takes south.
"There he is," Hiker says, pointing to Scizor, who stands ready to do battle with the oncoming pokemon. "Scizor, this is your last chance, return NOW!" Hiker screams. Scizor once again knocks the pokeball aside, but this time with a steel wing that almost hits Hiker.
"Well then buddy, I didn't want it to come to this, but we're gonna have to fight. Charmeleon! Ember!"

[DragonQueenRachel]

"Serena, Ruby, Hyper Beam!" Rain commands, and the two dragon pokemon combine their Hyper Beam attacks, and aim for the Scizor. This is going to be brutal, but he leaves me with no choice, she thinks, watching the attacks try to hit the Scizor. That is the waay of war, you must make sacrifices to come out ahead of the enemy.

[Hiker]

Scizor sees the hyper beams coming but stands his ground, taking the shots in full, falling to the ground.
"That's gotta be it," Hiker says as he walks up to Scizor's fainted body. "Scizor, retu..." Hiker begins to saw before Scizor sweeps him from his feet and fires back a hyper beam of his own, but directed towards Charmeleon. Completely caught off guard, Charmeleon is sent hurtling towards the ocea, taking a fall and sinking to the bottom of the deep.

The water suddenly bursts up as Rain's Milotic surfaces, her body wrapped around the unconsious Charmeleon, and deposits him on dry land.

"Good work Mystic," Rain says, and the Milotic nods.

Hera comes into view, Rina follows closely, and Queenie surfaces soon after.

"Alright Hera, lets use another Overheat attack!" Rain commands, and the Blaziken blasts Scizor again.

[Hiker]

This time, Scizor foresees the attack coming, and uses double team and quick attack in succession, rushing several copies of himself at Blaziken lightning fast. The real Scizor leaps over Blaziken and attacks Mudkip and Chinchou, who are watching over Charmeleon.
"I don't think he wants to fight your pokemon! He wants to fight mine for some reason!" Hiker explained.
It had to be true, for Scizor quickly rushed to Shellgon, knocking it off it's feet with a steel wing.

Meanwhile, Charmeleons tail flame was almost completely extinguished, and Scizor had made short work of Mudkip, Chinchou, and Pupitar.

"All of you, return!" Hiker shouted, but before he could do it, Scizor attacked him, stealing all the pokeballs and throwing them into the ocean.
Hiker surveyed the situation, and came to the conclusion that he only had one pokemon still standing.
"Nuzleaf....hide."

[Zerro]

Dragonite carfully and slowly flys back toward Finite Isle as I laid unconsous on his back. He had a concerned look on his face, but was used to this flight back as we have been doing it every week for quite some time. He flew over the two trainers from before, now battling a sizor. Ignoring, he flew me to the top of the gym, and under a covering right before my house. He genly laid down with me on my on it's back. A couple min's later Alakazam walked out, and peered down at Dragonite, then me. Telepathicly he spoke to me in my dreams. "Rest my friend. Rest and you will be fine. We have much to speak of when you awake.'

At the mention of that, a thought hit Rain. "I think I know why he's doing this," she says. "He wants to prove that he's better than your other pokemon, I can't believe I didn't see it before," she says, slapping her forhead, and motions to her pokemon to stand down. "If that's true, then there's nothing I can do, I'm sorry."

[Hiker]

"But why would he want to do this, Scizor never has wanted to fight. Why the sudden want!" Hiker pondered. "Scizor! STOP IT NOW!" But Scizor would have none of it, as he charged as quickly as possible to Hiker. Hiker expected to be hit hard, but Nuzleaf was there to intercept quickly. "Nuzleaf..let's show him who's boss."

[DragonQueenRachel]

Rain shrugs. "I don't know, the closest thing thing thats ever happened to me to this was when I first caught Hera, back when she was just a Torchic, I guess she thought I wasn't training her as much as the other pokemon, so she tried to attack Ruby," Rain says. "But this is probably a completely different situation, so it is kind of doubtful that the reasoning is the same."

[Hiker]

Scizor charged poor Nuzleaf faster than Hiker could comprehend, not giving him a chance to tell Nuzleaf to dodge. Scizor hit the mark directly with a metallic claw, knocking Nuzleaf out cold.

Now Scizor had nothing to stand between him and Hiker.

"Come on pal, this isn't like you, why are you doing this!" Hiker protested, but was blinded by a light that began to encompass Charmeleon, Mudkip, and Chinchou.

"Charmeleon?" Hiker gasped.

As I slept under Dragonite's protective wing, I dreamt of the past; today and the day's before. The word's I had spoken today 'Feelings are for the weak minded' rang through my head. They all left me... I saw myself running through a feild that was raining blood, bodies of everyone I used to know laid beside me as I came to a hualt. There was a look of fear that I cold see on my face, though I did not know why. Why did the king choose me? The image of warring pokemon was visable in the background. The king of Tree's mustent die... My range of veiw was moved as I droped to my knees, aparently dead. When my body hit the ground the rain stoped, the sun came out, and the warring stoped. Then I woke up. The Sun was just barly on the east horriozen. Dragonite smiled and nudged on my head till I smiled back.

[Hiker]

Scizor came charging now towards Hiker, and his life flashed before his eyes. "Don't do this buddy!" Hiker screamed once more to no avail. "Not this way!"
But Scizor was caught off guard as Charmeleon flew by and grabbed Scizor before dropping him.
"Charmeleon? Flying??" Hiker thought to himself before realizing that his Charmeleon had evolved into it's final form, Charizard.
"Charizard!" Hiker screamed, half in disbelief, half in excitement, "let's see if this works...FLAMETHROWER!"

Charizard dug deep inside himself, and bellowed out a massive channel of flame, right into Scizor, and it hit it's mark perfectly.

Finally, Scizor succumbed, and fainted.

"They evolved..." Rain says in realization. "Interesting that they would evolve right at this moment," she says with a smile. "Well, that was intereseting," she says with a shrug, patting Ruby on the head as her pokemon watch. As long as Hiker has faith in his pokemon, he should be fine in any battle, win or lose, she thinks, but still looks a little worried.

The sun shone through my window waking me for my first day of my new life. I rolled over, wishing the sun would creep back down behind the horizon. After a few more minutes of sleep, I climbed out of bed and began to dress myself. After finishing up and eating a quick breakfast I gathered my bag and pokeballs and headed out to Transversal Island. Crossing the sea again, I headed to the spot where I decided I'd set up my stall. I casually placed my berries in crates one by one, and after inspecting my work, decided to take a nap. "Cubone, Mudkip, Spearow, Dratini come on out!" My friends emerged in a bright flash and I began to give them instructions. "Dratini, watch over Spearow, would you? And Mudkip and Cubone, watch the stall. Just use Water Gun on me if a customer comes by." I said smiling. Laying back, I began to nap. Hopefully my first customer would come by soon.

[Hiker]

Hiker stared amazed at Charizard.
"You evolved for me?" Hiker said, holding back tears, tears of joy, and of sadness for his best friend Scizor. Hiker reached for his poke balls to return his pokemon, but he remembered that they were tossed into the sea. "Could things get any worse..." Hiker thought to himself as he walked over to his injured pokemon. He would have to stay with them until they all healed. Luckily, Scizor had not thrown his pokeball into the ocean, and Hiker put away the crazed Pokemon.
"Thanks again for the help Rain." Hiker began, but as he turned around, noticed that she was gone.

"I need some excerice after last night." I said to myself slowly limping inside I changed into some swiming trunks. I smiled as if nothing happened last night. "Ill be back, kay?" It was retorical so I walked out anyway surpassing Dragonite. I slid down a pole next to the gym ignoring the pain in my body. I began to run toward the beach. A quick trip to Transversal should be good. I hoped in the water and began to swim, again ignoring the pain that streamed through my body. After about five miniutes I reached Transversal's Shore. Damn Im geting slow... I continued to walk on with a smile on my face. As soon as I was out in the public though I returned to my normal stern state. In the distance I saw the red haired man again, seemed to have a small stall open to. But as I reached it, I found he was sleeping. "Uh... Excuse me?"

I woke with a start, having been drenched by Mudkip. Mudkip and Cubone began to laught histarically while Dratini and Spearow contrinued their training. With a smirk on my face, I said to Mudkip, "One day, old friend, I'm gonna get you back." Turning to face my first customer, I saw it was that young kid from the gym.
"So, it's my heartless friend, eh? Here to lecture me too on how only the weak-minded have emotions? Well in that case, I reckon everyone is weak-minded.." I said with a smile. "You need anything?"

Rain had sort of regreted leaving Hiker after all of that, but she had to take a look at something.

Namely, she had observed a large gathering of ice and dragon pokemon farther out to sea, this wasn't a good sign, the Elite 4 had found her.

She traveled back to Transversal island, looking worried. This is bad, I didn't want the war to follow me to the islands, there goes my nice relaxing vacation, she says, and sees Curtis nearby. Oh come on, how can I keep seing this guy? And plus after last night, I don't know what I think about him, she thinks, and shakes her head, there where more important things she had to think about.

"Ya your real funny..." I looked down at the berries. "Did the big boy pick those all by himself?" I sarcasticly questioned. I had the feeling that this man to was running from somthing, as much as I wanted to try to befriend him I couldn't pull myself to do it. "I'll take a bag full of berries." I looked up at him. "Hope thats not to hard for you."

"Tough talk for someone the size of a pin." I said grinning. "And if you must know, my pokemon helped me pick these. They've got a much better nose for picking out the ripest berries." I explained to him with a wink. "Lets see.... an assortment of berries? 20 berries, give or take... I think about 300poke seems fair. Roughly 15poke each. That alright with you?" I asked him.

He still has yet to learn, I guess I won't be battling him anytime soon, oh well, maybe I should go to Johto or Hoenn next time, Rain thinks. Though, maybe I should warn him about the possible threat from the Elite that is arriving, she thinks to herself, but shrugs. I doubt he would care though, or maybe write it off as paranoia, like everyone else does.

I snatched the bag from him, and handed over 300poke. "Pleasure doing bussness with you..." I restrained my self from saying anything mean and I walked off. I saw Rain after plucking a few berries in my mouth. It wasn't long before I noticed I was limping again, but as soon as I noticed I poped back up ignoring the pain as best I could hoping no one had seen. I slowly walked toward her plucking a couple more berries into my mouth.

"Pleasure doing business, hope to see you soon!" I yelled out. I casually tossed Spearow a couple of berries. "Drown him with kindness, and he'll be fighting by my side in no time." I said softly, smiling. Noticing the young women in the distance, I yelled out, "Hey, silver, need some berries? I've got lots of ripe ones for sale!"

"Fancy seeing you here," Rain says to Curtis. What the heck am I thinking? I should call back to headquarters for support, not going to some self-centered Gym Leader, she thinks, mentally slaping herself.

"I got the groceries you asked for, Rain," the girl from yesterday says, carrying a bag of groceries up to Rain. "Oh, and headquarters called, they can't send any support if the Elite launch an attack on the islands."

I hate my life, Rain thinks, and calls back to Brian. "Maybe in a minute."

[Zerro]

I stoped and looked at Rain, then out to sea. She's worried... "I dont have time to chat..." I said rolling my eyes and walking past her. I stoped and looked at her again, then back at the sea this time noticing Dragon pokemon. There worring her... Could what she be saying be true... Shes running from them..?"You see unlike some people," I said pulling out a goldish pokeball with dragonite wings on it. "I have work to do." I pressed it's button and withn seconds Dragoninte was above. "Maybe later, huh?" I said not expecting an answer as I hoped on Dragonite and pointed out to where the pokemon where, and he took off.

"Really, well guess what, so do I, Ruby, transform!" Rain shouts.

"Right here?" The girl asks. "But..."

"This isn't the time to argue, we need to get out there!" Rain snaps.

"S-sorry," Ruby says, and a glow envelopes her, and when it fades, in her place is Rain's Salamence.

Rain climbs on the Dragon's back, and they fly off towards where the Dragon pokemon are congregated. "I'm not letting you do my job for me," she shouts to Curtis. "Let me formerly introduce myself, I am Lt. Rain Skylark of the Kanto Anti-Elite 4 Militia!"

It all made since now... From the report the union gave me... That meant, she deffinately couldn't come to this confrontion. She wouldn't understand... I was unaware of how Ruby was called out so fast but it didn't matter. "Sorry Rain. This job isnt for you." Dragonite spun around in front of her(It's eyes now glowing blue.)and tackled Ruby dead on. I called out Gengar, to grab Rain and fly her back to the Island. Whom obdeintly knocked Rain off Ruby and held on tightly to her, and began to take her toward the Isle. "Don't waist time Dragonite. Thunder." The supercharged blue bolt hit Ruby dead on whom began to fall to the Ocean. "Take me to Lance Dragonite. I need to have a word with him."

"Eh, oh well, there goes a potential customer..." Just then, Cubone jumped up onto the stall and grabbed a handful of berries and started running around with them. Getting up, I playfully began to chase him around the stall. "Just you wait! I'm gonna catch you, Cubone!" I said laughing. Soon, Dratini and even Spearow joined in the game, stealing my berries and running off with them. Even Mudkip joined the merriment! I spent the next hhour or so playfully chasing them around. After awhile, I became too tired to chase them anymore, and ordered my friends to return the berries. I gave them a few berries each, and again, returned to my nap. I had a few customers here and then, and made some poke. Things seemed to be doing well.

OOC: I may not be back for the night, so if you need my character for anything, go ahead and use him. Just try to keep his personality the way it has been. =p

Ruby, I'm sorry, I let my own personal mission get in the way of what's realy important, my friends, Rain thinks, placing her hand on the weakened dragon pokemon's head, and concentrates, Ruby glows for a moment, is fully healed. "Come Ruby, we're going back to the island."

"But, what about..." Ruby starts.

"Don't worry about them, he can learn it on his own," Rain replies, and Ruby nods, and they head back to the island.

Zak reached the gym and walked in or at least tried, the door was locked.
He waited a while before leaving. Zak left Finite Island on the back of his Charizard and flew to Tranversal Island. It probably had a boat to the Granny and Tablet Islands.

When Zak eventually reached the Tranversal Island he passed a stand selling berries and realised how hungry he was.
`What berries do you sell?` he asked the sleeping man.

I woke and drowsily explained to the young kid, "I've got Oran, Sitrus, Pecha, Cheri, Rawst and Leppa.. Anything in particular..? Or just grab a handful for ya?" Turning slightly to the left, I noticed his Charizard, a mighty pokemon indeed. I noticed a faint arua surronding it, telling me it was somehow... different from other pokemon... "Thats great looking Charizard there... Powerful wings, a huge flame burning brightly on it's tail, and eyes that seem to know everything that goes on in the universe... I'm assuming you raised it from a Charmander, eh?"

[Hiker]

Hiker noticed that his Mudkip was almost coming to. His hopes soared, knowing that he was that much closer to being able to recall his pokemon.
"Charizard, watch over them, I think I see a vendor not far from here." Hiker explained and Charizard nodded in agreement.
Hiker walked over to the berry vendor, waiting in line with another trainer who had a Charizard, and picked some oran berries to buy. "How much will these cost sir?" Hiker said reaching into his wallet.

Personality - Shy, quiet, she likes to talk if she knows you real well.
History - Her parents lived on the Isle all their lives, Jae was raised on the island and left when she turned 12 to travel around the other regions and battled in gyms.

Reason/Popouse - She trains on the isle and raises her pokemon and takes care of the wild ones as well.

Jae was training with her newly evovled Flygon. She was riding on flygon's back over the water surface laughing, "this is so much fun! I can do this all day!" Jae called happily as flygon twirled through the air.

Finally they landed back on solid ground, Jae wiped her face with a towel and handed flygon an apple and she sat down on the bare ground and munched on one staring out at the open waters, "Oh flygon, how i wish i could go back to Kanto and Johto....." She said in a dreamily voice her mind wandering off as a wild poochyena walked over to her and leaped onto her lap.

Jae giggled, "But, i would miss being on the Isle with all the natives and all this peacfulness......." She said turning to flygon. Flygon stared at her in its own world and continued munching on the apple.

Halfway back to the island, Rain realizes something. If he's going after Lance, he can't do a thing, only a trainer equal in power can, a trainer with the gifts of the Viridian Forest, and I doubt that he qualifies, myself on the other hand, I can defeat Lance, but it'll be hard, she thinks. "Ruby, turn around, we've gotta help him."

"Why? He dosen't want our help," the dragon points out.

"Yes, but he's going to need it," Rain says, and they turn around, heading back towards where the dragons are congregated.

[Hiker]

After purchasing the Oran Berries for 500 poke, Hiker returned to his pokemon, to find a mysterious figure standing next to them, but his pokemon seemingly calm.
"Hey! Who are you!" Hiker screamed.
"A friend, I do not wish you any harm. I come bearing a warning. This island has many mysteries, ones that you will not survive with your team of low leveled pokemon." The stranger replied.
Hiker was angered at the comment, but saw the truth behind it. "Your right.. but who are you? Do you know why my Scizor is acting like he is?"
"Like I said before, there are mysteries on this island," the stanger said.
"But!" Hiker began to say, but as he reopened his eyes from a blink, he realized that he had all 6 pokeballs strapped securely to his waist, and that he was in front of a pokecenter. "What in the world.." he asked himself.

BIC: Flying ahead I reached the Dragon brigage, and Dragonite spun to a stop in front of lance. None of the pokemon or people moved but I had yet to realize this. "You wouldn't happen to be trying to come to my Island's would you?" I questioned with a smirk. I didn't wait for a reply before I continued to talk. "What would the union think of you coming here? You and I both know they enforce rules rather strictly." I stared at him stareing at the Islands blankly. I took a look around and saw all the others doing the same. A small brezze blew by, and that's when I noticed it had not effected them. Not even the tiniest hair moved. "Lance?" I asked with a puzzled look. He or whatever it was turned it's head to me, and after a moment it spoke it a very low wisper.
"Zazuuuuu." Once the thing appearing to be lanced finished speaking, it dissappeared, along with all the others. I shook my head, and signaled Dragonite to fly back thinking to myself, What's going on. Could the king of trees be regaining strength?

If he's flying back, then it might've been nothing, I really am just getting paranoid, Rain thinks, and once again has Ruby turn around. Maybe I should consult a psychiatrist, after all, war plays funny tricks on the mind, she sighs, looking out at the ocean. Though, there are times I start to wonder if I'm fighting on the right side, the Elite might have a point, but if we're going to rescue the human race from itself, we have to do more than fight a war against them, when its all over, we must learn from our past mistakes, maybe the Elite 4 could teach us a thing or two about the problems facing both humans and pokemon alike..

"What was that all about?" Hiker asked himself as he walked up to Nurse Joy and healed his Pokemon.

Once the healing was complete, Hiker took a walk to the beach and pondered what had occured. "So apparently my pokemon won't cut it here...well then I guess I need some training..." Hiker set off, looking for any trainer to battle in hopes of survival on this island.

Running out of berries, I decided I might as well close up shop for the day. I did well for my first day, and I was in no hurry. I figured I'd walk down the beach where me and my pokemon could train. Training in the sand always was more difficult, and therefoe, more rewarding. I slowly headed to the beach, admiring the sights around me. I still couldn't stop thinking about the kid's Charizard... there was something strang about him... a sort of... divine feeling...

[Hiker]

Hiker had just about given up looking for a competitor when he spotted a man walking along the beach carrying a sack of berries and counting his money.
Hiker called out, "Hey! You there! Are ya a trainer buddy?" Hiker noticed the look on the man's face, obviously deep in thought. "Up for a friendly fight?"

[Ghostka]

"Hm... sure... why not? How about... a two-on-two battle? Maybe a wager of... 300poke? And just a warning... as young as my pokemon look, they're no push-overs." I said grinning.

[Hiker]

"200 poke eh. Alright sounds good to me." Hiker agrees as he looks through his wallet. I'll assure you that my pokemon will fight their hardest as well." Hiker assures as he reaches for a pokeball on his waist, "Shellgon. Go!"

Shellgon forms in a beam of light. The shelled dragon prepares for battle.

Rain and Ruby (in human form) happened to be walking by at that moment, and notices that the battle is starting. Its that Hiker guy from last night, this might be interesting to watch, she thinks, and they take a seat nearby. I wonder who this other guy is, and what pokemon he has, it might be fun to watch.

I wonder what pokemon they'll start with, Ruby thinks, remembering the incident with Hiker's Scizor last night.

"A Pupitar, eh? I guess starting with Mudkip couldn't hurt... GO, Mudkip!" I tossed the ball into the air, my little friend appearing in a bright flash. "Just as a warning, my pokemon were trained to fight in the sands. This wont be as easy as you think... Alright, let's start off with a Water Gun!" Mudkip shot a stream of water from his mouth, flying towards Pupitar with full force.

[Hiker]

"Shellgon! Dodge that!" with the command, Shellgon leapt to the side, almost rolling out of the way, "good job! Now hit it with a headbutt!"

Shellgon regained footing, and charged towards Mudkip head first.

"Mudkip, use Bide!" Digging in, he braced himself for the worse. His muscles tightened, his teeth clentched, Mudkip took a direct blow, sailing backwards. "Good, now return the power and follow that with Ice Beam!" Mudkip quickly climbed to his feet and began to charge full force, readying his Ice Beam to strike soon after impact...

"Good job Shellgon, now charge into Mudkip, and once your momentum is forward, use protect!" Hiker screamed.

Shellgon began running towards Mudkip, and once it could not halt it's momentum, it enabled protect, just as Mudkip's ice beam hit.

The beam knocked Shellgon directly off course, and would have surely done worse if it werent for the protect.

"Alright, Mudkip, Shellgon is airborn, hop near it and use Slam to send him sailing into the sea!" Knowing this plan before, Mudkip took my words to the 'T' and leaped forward towards the helpless Shellgon. He quickly twisted his body to strike with the full force of his Slam attack.

[Hiker]

"Shellgon! Dragonbreath!" Hiker screamed, but it was too late at Shellgon hurtled into the ocean.
"Shellgon! Come on buddy! Your still in this thing!" Hiker urged, as Shellgon reemerged from the ocean. Reduce his speed with a scary face and then use focus energy!"

"Alright, Mudkip, lets end this. While he is charging up, strike with Blizzard!" The air arround me began to grow frigid, snow was falling, even in this tropical paradise. The wind began to pick up and the freezing air was blasted at Shellgon. The two pokemon soon became lost in ths storm. Even though I couldn't see my Mudkip, I knew the fire in his eyes shone through the intense Blizzard.

[Hiker]

"Shellgon, return." Hiker grimly said, knowing that the dragon had been bested in the blizzard, "a good strategy, but it won't save you this time." Hiker reached for his pokeballs, instinctively for Scizor, his most powerful pokemon, but thought better of it, knowing that Scizor had been reckless, and didn't want to take the risk. "Chinchou, go!"

Chinchou emerged from the pokeball, emitting lightning from it's fish form.

"Chinchou, use thundershock on Mudkip!" With that, a powerful thundershock headed towards Mudkip.

Ruby turns her head when the Shelgon falls into the ocean, and then is defeated by the Blizzard attack.

It just goes to show you that no pokemon is invincible, even Mewtwo, considerably one of the most powerful pokemon in existence, has a weakness somewhere, Rain thinks. Lets see how the rest of this battle plays out, she thinks, and looks at Ruby with a nod.

"Damnit... if only I let Mudkip evolve.." I said, smiling.. "Oh well... Mudkip, use Mud-slap on yourself!" Quickly digging into the sand, Mudkip covered himself with mud to try and negegate the Thundershock. Not enough. Mudkip was struck hard, too hard to stand. Falling over, I ran to his side and lifted him in my arms. Walking back to my place, I set him down and fed him an Oran. "Good job, Mudkip... You did good." I said with a smile. Returning him to his pokeball, I tossed another up. My oldest friend Dratini was in the battle, pumped up and ready to go. "Alright, Dratini, it's been awhile, but lets go! Dragon Dance!" In a strange dance, Dratini's Speed and Special Attack rose in an exponential amount. He would be unstoppable now... A grin was on my face as I awaited my young oppenents next move...

[Hiker]

"Chinchou, start up a hail storm!" Hiker shouted, and hail began to fall, knicking Dratini, not doing much damage with each hit, but in the long run, it would wear him down, especially since Dratini was susceptible to ice. "Good job Chinchou, now use shock wave!" The unavoidable electric attack (read the move description lol) hurdled toward Dratini.

OOC: Just remember, Hail hurts ALL none Ice-types. Chinchou is water and electric. :)

"Alright, we know we wont evade this... But it wont do much!" I turned to the young trainer. "Dragon pokemon... amazing creatures, aren't they? Resistant to most all special attacks, vulnerable only to Ice and Dragon moves..." I said smiling... "Lets tough this one out and strike back with Dragon Rage!" The ball of light and shock flew towards Dratini. Without worry, it struck him, doing only minimal damage. As the hail began to pelt Dratini, he charged at Chinchou, all his anger and his rage would be in his next attack.... "DRAGON RAGE! GO, DRATINI!"

[Hiker]

"Chinchou! Use mist!"
Mist shrouded Chinchou as it lept away, into the ocean, only to reappear behind Dratini, "now! Use Ice Beam!"

Chinchou prepared for the finishing move, but Scizor emerged from the pokeball and clipped Chinchou from the air, knocking it out.

"Scizor!!! Return this instant!" this time, Scizor obeyed and returned. Hiker rushed over to Chinchou, hoping to recover him, "are you ok buddy?" Hiker asked.

OOC: Hey guys I have to go for tonight, you can still use my character, he is just nursing Chinchou back, and trying to figure out more why Scizor is acting strange. If anyone has a good reason for Scizors attitude, please use it =)

"I guess, this match is a draw." I grabbed my berry bag and knelt down beside the injured Chinchou, slowly feeding him a few Oran Berries. "I wish I knew something about your Scizor, but if they are anything like Scythers, then they are just as bad tempered... Here, take these, give him one every 30 minutes or so, and your Chinchou will be fine." I handed the kid some Orans and started to walk away. "Let's go Dratini." He playfully leaped after me and we walked down the beach, away from the crowd that grew to watch the battle.

Thoughts raced through my head, about the mirages that where out at sea, but they hualted as a hail stone knicked me in the head. I turned my head to see two trainer's battleing, one of them including the big red head. Dragonite flew in close and used sunny day stoping the hail storm. "Battleing on this public beach is against the law ya' know." I said in my usual stern tone. "Some people are actualy trying to enjoy there day at the beach." I saw the red head look around, to see if there was in fact other people on the beach. "You can find battle room's at the pokemon center, in the battle guild, or my gym." Dragonite began to rise. "Please, try not to do this again."
Dragonite began to fly back to the gym, and my thoughts continued to race. If the king's die, then all the pokemon will go mad... But the mirage...

Zak bought 11 berries just before the stand closed. Bored he decided to watch the man battling another guy with blonde hair. It turned out to be a draw and people were starting to leave . Before leaving he ran up and asked the berry seller

I was just swimming around with my pokemon when I saw a huge boom. I thought what has happend? Usually things are calm around here. Could the world be changing before my eyes?I said,"Okay everyone dive!" All my pokemon listened and within moments there was a water show in front of my eyes. It was amazing. They went al least 19 feet out of the water. I was sure someone on the island was going to see it.

A small group of us have raided Cerise Island, Rain thinks, using a Golbat's Supersonic attack to view a scene on the uncharted Cerise Island. Blaine, Yellow, Green, and Bill? This explains why the Elite have failed to make an actual attack on these islands, their armies have been attacking Kanto cities, and now the battle is beginning, what's next, is the Rocket Triad going to appear? She thinks, and shrugs it off, letting the Golbat rest on her shoulder. "I should be over there too, Yellow's in danger."

"Rain, I know your worried for your sister, but our place is here right now," Ruby says, placing a hand on Rain's shoulder.

"You're right," Rain says.

Jae was sitting on the soft sand with flygon zooming across the water surface its tail cutting through the water sending sparkles of water to the air, like sparkles of light. "fly!!!!!!" Flygon cried pulling out of its dive finally learning the attack aerial lace.

Jae whistled clapping Cranny Isle was her home and she was at peace at long last. She looked around at the people and the tourists and laid flat on the sand her hands tucked behind her head staring at the clear skies.

'With these word's I swear,' Voices from past memories entered my head as I walked inside my home on top of thhe gym. 'to honor, serve and protect,' I looked around seeing Alakazam meditating in the corner. 'at all cost's, may they be big or small.' I ploped down in my back facing the corner and slide down the wall. 'life or death,' Thought's of lonilyness entered my head again. Things will always be the same for me... 'disregarding all else,' I took a sigh and closed my eyes exausted from not only the lack of sleep, but also energy, and spoke the final line from memory. "The kings of Pokemon."

OOC: Just wondering, who is the blonde haired guy, cause I'm lost. If it's supposed to be me, i have brown hair, sorry I didn't state it before.

BIC: "Scizor, why are you doing this," Hiker thought to himself.

Just then he remembered the strangers warning of how his weak pokemon will not survive this island. Perhaps Scizor was a foreshadowing of this.

Perhaps the stranger had caused Scizor to act this way, perhaps the stranger was telling him something. Either way, Hiker had to make a choice. A choice between his current team, or his team that had carried him throughout the perils of Johto.

Turning to the Charizard trainer, "Yea, the gym is in Finite... And the leader is that little punk on the Dragonite." I resumed walking the down the beach untill the chattering of the people were nothing but a distant memory. Stopping, I let out my pokemon. "Alright, lets do some training! Spearow, use Peck on Cubone!" Dratini, Slam on Mudkip!" For a few hours I did this. I had to train them in both physical and mental strength. The sun slowly began to fall beneath the horizon as I trained.
