I can't seem to upload a custom avatar. Any help would be appreciated

I would assume you're uploading an avatar at the right size. Do you get an error?

It usually says Unable to save or Invalid URL. And yes my avatars are proportional.

can you upload the image to this thread? if so, all you'd need to do then is point the avatar to the uploaded directory. If that doesn't sound like something you'd want to do or it's not possible because you don't have the avatar on your computer, post the URL to the avatar here and we'll take a look at it. perhaps the server in which the avatar lives doesn't allow people to reference it's pictures off-site.

Actually Kwesi, I'm assuming this person's filename needs its file system permissions changed, so you'll need to CHMOD avatar111_2.gif or avatar111_3.gif if their of them exist in the customavatars directory. This is not relevant to any other user who cannot access FTP.

I agree with Wolt. I don't think it's in my control. Because all my pics worked as avatars before PC was shutdown for a week last month.
