"A virtuoso (from Italian virtuoso, late Latin virtuosus, latin virtus meaning: skill, manliness, excellence) is an individual who possesses outstanding technical ability at singing or playing a musical instrument."

Who do you believe to be the best at his place on rock? There are many to mention, but just post your favorites.

In my opinion:

Voice: Lou Gramm(Foreigner), Freddie Mercury
Guitar: Jeemee Hen Dricks, Jimmy Page(Led Zeppelin), Eric Johnson(Member of the G3), Steve Howe(Yes)
Percussion: John "Bonzo" Bonham(Led Zeppelin)
Bass: Roscoe Beck(Please, not Beck, ROSCOE Beck.)
Piano/Keyboards: KEITH EMERSON (from ELP) He's actually the daddy of all keyboardists, you know.

You can add as many more instruments as you wish, and know.

I like to believe you know how to behave in these kind of threads, so I won't bother to remind you. ^^

Have fun discussing!

I definitely have to agree with you there on Freddy Mercury, his voice is so awe-inspiring.

Voice: Tom Chaplin (Keane), Freddy Mercury
Guitar: Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young (AC/DC)
Drums: Keith Moon (The Who)
