I've been trying to put up my own website and I'm using PHPbb for the forums there, the only problem is I can't figure out how to set it up...I already downloaded the program and stuf...but I can't figure out how to set the actual website up (not even my little brother, who knows a lot more about internet software than me, was able to help me)

So.. you can't figure out what to do with the phpBB next? Just go into the Installation documentation. I don't remember exactly, but I think it's somewhere under "Documentation/Installation.html" in the unzipped folder. ^_^; It should also be on the main website.

=X I don't like the phpBB admin section, personally. But whatever. ^_^;

You need these Requirements to run PHPBBs.
- PHP 4.0 or higher
- MySQL, MSSQL, or any compatable database. (MySQL Recommended)

1. Upload all files. CHMOD config.php 777 (Upload PHP Files ASCI Mode and upload image files in Binary Mode.)
2. Point your browser to http://www.yourwebsite.com/yourforumdirectory/install.php
3. Follow all the directions on the screen.
4. You are done! You can change the forums settings by clicking the admin link at the bottom of the page.
