All right, per request of my friend, I was asked to see if there were any suggestions for her current problem. On her account here at Pokécommunity, she forgot her password during Pokécommunity's downtime. She sent for a password retrieval mail and such, but it never came - even after a week went past... she has checked her junk mail and tried this multiple times. She was wondering if there was any way to regain her account... such as an administrator resetting her password themselves and e-mailing her the new password..

or, if that's not possible, w hat should she do?

Well, I know that it has been done before so I sure the highers will accomodate your friend. Your friend just needs to contact the staff. Maybe suggest to your friends to do as others before have, and start a new account post here and get the staff to help them. I am sure that might work, or maybe the staff will send her e-mail again.

The only problem with manually resetting and e-mailing the password out is that we can't be absolutely sure it's her who receives it. But if you give me her username and e-mail, and if the e-mail matches the one registered with the account, I'll reset the password and send it. Otherwise she'll have to either keep trying to retrieve it via the system or register a new account.

Certainly. You can even talk to her on her AIM account if you want further proof.

Her username is Sike Saner and her e-mail is: jrt54@sbcglobal.net

well, it seems that it's her e-mail that has the problem with accepting Pokécommunity e-mails. So she just made a new account very similar to her old one to use, as it seems she'll be unable to use her old one again.

Thanks for the assistance, and my apologies about double-posting.
