Hey guys, I have some ideas for a new Pokémon game, with a few twists.
Characters:
Crimson (default): The "hero" of the game, 17 years old. Moving to Persimmon Village from the poorer parts of Medlar City, Crimson lost his mother in an alleged car accident at a young age, bitter ever since. However, his father, the Pokémon Academy Superintendent, decides to allow him to begin a journey as a Pokémon trainer (Crimson's only dream).
Indigo (default): The heroine of the game, 17 years old. A Persimmon Village bred happy-go-lucky clutz. The former valedictorian of the Pokémon academy, Indigo was the most popular girl at the school, however, has had her eye on Crimson ever since he had entered the town. Saddened by his bitterness, she always tries to help him out.
Jade (default): The rival of Crimson, 17 years old. The self-proclaimed "greatest Pokémon expert" to ever grace the country of Shikoku, however, has not set out on his journey yet, as he is extremely lazy.
Professor Gekkeiju (Laurel in English): The resident professor in Medlar City, she currently is the girlfriend of Crimson's dad. Thus, Crimson finds her to be a nuisance. However, she has a kind heart, and hopes to snap Crimson out of his lifetime funk.
Features:
-13 Gym Leaders
-Tournament Style Preliminaries before each Gym Battle/Elite 5 member
-New Type: Light
-108 new Pokémon (rounding the number to 601 Pokémon)
-Several new evolutions
-New Storyline with new evil teams (team Yin/team Yang)
Changes/Additions from earlier games
-Some attacks become Light-type (i.e. Wish, Doubleslap)
-Some Pokémon become Light-type instead of Normal (i.e. Chansey family, Clef-line, Puff-line)
-New attacks for old Pokémon (i.e. Nidoran family learns Attract naturally, Gorebyss learns Mirror Coat, Charizard learns Seismic Toss, etc.)
-Time System (Dawn, Morning, Afternoon, Dusk, Night)
-Date System (certain things and Pokémon appear on different days)
-New hold items
-Return of Pokémon Contests
-Return of Battle Frontier
-Pokéblocks/Pokébread replaced with "Pokésnacks"
-Return of "Bait" to Safari Zone
-150 TMS (continuing from D/P TMs)
-Move Tutors
-ALL 493 Original Pokémon (although Legendaries will be EXTRAORDINARILY hard to obtain)
-New Pokémon-specific hold items (i.e. Mewtwo's Cyber Armor from the Movie)
-New Berries
-Different Evolutionary Methods for those who had location-specific evos in D/P (Magneton, Eevee)
-NPCs in-game to help with evolutionary trading
-Extra Abilities for Breeding and Out-of-Battle effects
-Return of the attack classification from D/P
-ALL Pokémon will have Male/Female sprites that are different (albeit slightly) (except for genderless & single gender Pokémon)
-Your character TALKS!
-Bicycle can shift gear between Mach & Acro, also Skateboard available
Tell me any and all suggestions!
