Hi There,

I wonder if someone could explain what "between turns" means. For instance, when the "Dark Tyranitar" card says: "put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's defending pokemon between turns" does it mean that 1 damage counter gets put on the defending pokemon after each player has made their moves (i.e. 2 damage counters after both players have taken their turns), or does it mean that it only happens once any time between when a player takes their turn and the next time the same player takes their turn (i.e. 1 damage counter after both players have taken their turns).

I appreciate your attention and expertise,

'Between Turns' quite literally means between the turns of both players.

So using your example, of Dark TTar:
- Player 1 Ends turn.
- Dark TTar's Pokepower places a damage counter on opponents (player 2s) Pokemon if it meets the requirements (ie benched basics)
- Player 2 Begins turn
- Player 2 Ends turn
- Dark TTar's Pokepower places a damage counter on opponents if it meets the requirements
- Player 1 Begins turn

It works the same as the poison/burn markers.
Between turns means after EACH player's turn.
