Backfire
When a FIRE monster(s) on your side of the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Manticore of Darkness (Fire)
During the End Phase of the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard, send 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged Beast-Type Monster Card from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

So if you have Backfire out and you do the Manticore loop (Have one in hand to revive one that got destroyed that turn. Then send one in hand to revive one in grave. Then send one on field to revive the one that was in hand... rinse and repeat.)

Have I come up with an OTK or.... does the "send one beast" not trigger the "When a pyro is DESTROYED and sent to the graveyard."

Bingo. I think the only OTKs that we can get from Manticore right now ALL involve Card of Safe Return. Examples:
