You can use any tiles you want. If you want, you the ROM base I put up. Or use FR or Emerald. Anything is good. You just have to know how to map dude.

yh really i searched for legendry screen shots traced them ,en placed them in a new background and gave it a finishing!

Treecko, I've been working on my maps, and here's what I've come up with:
I still say that the maps are pretty empty. Aqua City for example, is not so good. Make one, just one more map for me and put alot into it. Make sure you have some water and flowers in it. It doesn't have to be big, just nice. Concentrate on putting details in your map. That's all it needs really, just more tiles. Not new tiles, just more being used.

Okay, I think (or at least hope) I've finally made a map that you'll accept. It's called Riverside City (http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n229/DGO_12_25/Pokemon%20Games/Maps/RiversideCity.png). The currents are the river that flows through. There's a whole route that's a river, and it eventually leads to this city. When you leave to the right, it goes out to the sea.

I am restarting it. It was originally a hack of Ruby, but I decided to change it to FireRed, due to the fact that whoever you choose, your rival will be the same. (In case you didn't know, Jenifer is supposed to be your rival no matter what. And because of that, you will be able to shoose from 2 different costumes of Daniel.)

Dear Treecko!
I was thinking if we can make a remake of Gold whit D/P graphcs.
I have started it yesterday when i got premisson to use D/P tiles From GreenCharizard.
It will be hack of Ruby.
If we can we will work it whit group(you know what i mean right?)
so...i will post some screens later;P
Why Gold though? It looks like there are nice remakes are going on for all Gold, Silver, and Crystal. And especially Gold. Why not do different things, it would suck doing trying to do something that has already been done. But show me the screens you said, and we'll see.

Anyway, I could make you some South Park themed tiles if you want Furanki. (They will not have the construction paper look, though.)

I have writen confirmation of that I am in charge of the people who sign up to G/S/C work, rom hacking or helping me with my G/S/C hacks, or hack.

If you sign up for a G/S/C place in this group, I have the right to accept/decline you without reason, of course I need expert/good rom hackers that can hack G/S/C, mostly I could name a few decent rom hackers, You need sprites, maps, and screenshots of past proof to eneter, maybe less depending on the situation or the person.

What if you just want more experience of Gold hacking?
Sure, i'll let you join for a period of time I see fit, then I will ask you to stay or leave depending on how much work you have contributed, but I will check this thread a few times a day to see if any of you want to join this group on the G/S/C end of the spectrum.

As of now, I am in charge of the Gold/Silver/Crystal side of this group, I will make sure we all get treated fairly in which the members of the group should do and that we will get some decent work up to show the rest of the Gold hackers.

Are story takes place years after the young trainer from pallet town concord the four regions (Pokemon yellow, fr, lg etc) and after the ancient Pokemon were calmed (pk ruby, emerald etc). After the evils of old were disbanded (tem rocket, ruby etc). The world is now in peace or is it. Deep from within the Pokemon world the news rings with the tale of a new found land. Its glistering treasures have excited researcher across the world. There digs have uncovered unimaginable wealth of knowledge. They speak of its untouched nature filled with Pokemon from all regions. However the world police corps has received a message and a call has been put out to all the regions. Something has taken control of the island and help is needed. You young trainer have answered that call. Can you Save this new found land or will it overcome you????????????????????????????????????????????

Game play

When the game begins you arrive at the first site. Instead of it being the usual towns the town have become dig sites. At these dig sites there are small camps pf trainers who have answered the call as well and researchers. Also instead of the usual gym leaders there are still gyms and leaders but they are called dig masters and they run the dig site. At they first site you receive a Pokemon from a kind researcher and from there on it is up to you to collect the dig symbols and fight your way to the elite 4. Meanwhile you try to foil the plans of a new team who have awakened a new evil (Pokemon)

I know I am not part of this group or anything but I find your storyline bland, so basically you want to explore Johto with Silver, it seems kinda easy to do. Also in G/S/C, it never said Silver won any gym matches on the gym signs in the gyms, so what about that?

Well, Treecko, since the thread got closed before I could say a word... Well, I wouldn't like to see you walking out of the rom hacking scene. I don't really know why you had so much problems (but I can guess it's all related to "offset overwriting")

Luckily, you are still pretty young, and that is an advantage. Maybe in a few years, you'll be more calm, and you'd have learned to do things with more care. Take it from someone who was almost the same as you a few years ago (when I never comprehended how to hack Gold, and just gave up). If you still are interested in game making, then, we'll see you again, I'm sure...

I don't think the group will die unless everyone quits. Even though I stopped M/S, that doesn't mean that a great group has to break apart. They might make a few hacks of their own, maybe.

Ok I know im not apart of GP but I thought of an idea but don't got the skill to put it in progress. Its called Pokemon: The original story=D.

Storyline:
Basicly it is the original story of pokemon where you start of as ash and make your way to the top.You do meat brock and his dad and play a role in all of his journeys. You do meat meat all the normal characters(Brock, Misty, May ect.) but instead of them following you they journey with you at there own pace(like brock getting to route 1 before you do or May meeting you after she goes shopping). So you don't have to go through all the trouble of scripting them following you. After you beat the elite four(after travelling through Kanto-Hoenn) You become the champion and you are at the match between you and Gary. Then all of a sudden you see mew appear!!!! Then the screen becomes light and you can make up some ending=D. My ending was kinda stupid. After you see mew you end up in your bed and your mom's waking you up. Then up realize its just a dream, as you go downstairs Mew appears at your bedroom window.

I know its not such a great idea and it would take alot of work to create it but its my best.

I am a mrmber.... or was havent posted in a looonnnggg time, treecko knows bits n pieces about my hack , its basicly your a kid living in Uk london , sorrounded by gangs n thugs n stuff your in a gang called , P.I.F , ( might change that later) and you gota go around wipe out other gangs, beat the league , win gym badges the normal stuff, ive done a few maps , my mapping skils are .... well........ not to bad but not to good ,

Ok, with everything he has to do, Treecko hasn't been around lately. I can't edit you into the first post but I can accept members.

~Pearlone: Accepted, maps are nice but don't use stuff in excess like small bushes are hedgerows. Also waterfalls tend not to pop up randomly in the middle of maps xD. Sprites, very good, except the colours you use, don't use bright ones, use dull ones. Great potential.

~Aquila: Sorry, try and make the grass paths in square blocks rather than random. Try that and show me again. Sprites are quite nice.

~44tim44: Accepted, I'd like to see you attempt a big, challenging map, but it's good.

~Pachel22: Sorry, I don't think your maps are quite there yet. Don't use rocks like that, there has to be some sort of separator. Try and do a town and study how Nintendo map.
