Is Diamond & Pearl good?
it hasn't been released in the UK but I was thinking of getting it when its comes out.
Oh and is it worth buying a DS for?

it's good, but not worth buying a DS. look at the other games that are on the DS. if you are interested in any of them, then that certaintly gives you more of a reason to play the DS. also, if you're new to gameplay over WiFi, then i'd suggest you get for handheld gaming, whenever you're not home.
the Wii, however, is well worth the buy. if you want something worth it's pay, you should definitely look into a Wii.

^Apparently not a fan of Pokemon...
If you like Pokemon, GET IT. It's well worth it, and more than worth going on eBay and getting a used DS ($100 US or less by now, I think)...but I don't think ANY one game is worth getting a new DS Lite...

i'm a fan of pokemon, but i think paying 150+ bucks to play one game is quite unnecessary. however, if there are plenty of NDS games that you have some interest in, then i say it's more worth it. maybe it's just my age and my financially-concerned mind, but wasting that much money on a system with only a few good games seems silly.
also, the Wii will have Battle Revolution, and though it'll be like Pokemon Stadium, it has so many more components to it than the DS games, and you'll still get an idea of all the new pokemon.

Neither do I, but as I said, you can find a used DS on eBay for well under $100 nowadays (I got one for under $50 with ease). It's no DS Lite, but it'll do, and I think THAT'S more than worthwhile.
