Legendary aggrupations do exist... Pink Floyd, one of them? Delirious screams of psychedelia, progressive symphonies, hurricanes of laser-lit cigarretes, smashing beds and flying pigs, a perfect formula to give birth to sacred beasts of prog rock, fathers of a monstrous machine that ultimately got out or their control, sadly enough to then say... Discuss?
Oh, I forgot to say... Mentioning your dad or his shelf full of dustly long-playing records is strictly prohibited!

Those guys are geniusesses _0_ Right now, I'm working on "The Wall" with my band as a schoolproject. I've listened to almost all their albums. I'm saying almost, because I don't like much the early Syd stuff and haven't listened much to it. But overall it's great:D AND! I'm going to see Roger Waters on May 5:D

The 'early Syd stuff' is awesome! The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is the daddy of psychedelia, along with Sgt Pepper's by The Beatles (Both albums ironically recorded at the same time) Songs like Astronomy Domine, Interstellar Overdrive and Matilda Mother are great examples of what the psychedelic rock should be...
My favourite album is Animals, as underrated as it is. Dogs is a sample of the finest progressive rock in earth, along with Sheep and Pigs. The concept of the album is also magnific too, the society as Waters saw it~

These guys were absolute geniuses. You can listen to their albums all day and never get tired of them and it's just absolutely breathtaking and refreshing after a day full of Floyd.

They're brilliant. I filched my Dad's collection to spite him, and oh my god, it was love at first...listen? No, they're a great band.

Pink Floyd would be one of my favourite bands.
I've listened to, in no particular order. Dark Side of the Moon. The Wall. Wish you were Here. Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Meddle.
A band that never falls below excellence.

Shame that the most simple PF song became the most popular. :/
But anyway, The Wall is magnificent in its entirety. A perfect rock opera. Too bad it tore the group apart. D:

I never really got too much into them, but Pink floyd was one of the most influential bands of all time.
And Pink floyd has the two most inventive guitarists of that time period.

I love Pink Floydd, although my parents really don't like him at all, I may of only heard a few of his songs, but I like him.
Did you know he did this kind of playback thing when if you listen to it backwards there is a secret message? XD
I found it on this site.
