Magneton or manectric

Magneton or manectric....which electric pokemon is better to have in my squad?

I'd say Magneton as it doesn't take as much damage and apart from that their stats are quite similar. So Magneton is a bit better.

um, magneton... coz i *think* it has levitate? and it is less effected by rock moves... it looks betta, it's spd gut..
manectric coz it is an evolved form..?

Magneton. Manectric is a stupid UU poke, it sucks. Maggy has also a part Steel type, which is better. So ... yeah.

Ummm, no. Magneton does not have Levititate. If it did, it would be an awesome Poke since it has a 4x weakness to Ground. Magneton is also an evolved form of Magnemite. Manectric is a low class Electric-type that should be avoided.

yeah i think its ability is sturdy or magnet pull anyway its better when raised right it has impressive defense and sp. def along with good sp.atk the things it lacks in is speed and atk

Magneton. Always, always Magneton over Manetric. There's no contest. Offense-wise, a Magneton's Thundershock will be just as effective as Manetric's Spark, even when both are at similar levels. (Metaphorically.)

Actually, if you ask me, it depends more on your team, since Manectric can act as a mini-Raikou of sorts.

Good lord, you're right... I was thinking about the Trading Cards... Whoops. Either way, I still think Magneton is better since it's got amazing SAtk.

A 15 point difference is LARGE.
A 35 point difference is EVEN LARGER.
Paralysis solves any speed problems, though. Thunderwave.

Then, Thunderbolt. Yummy damage.

The only thing about Magneton that sucks is that it's movepool is sooooooooooooooooooo limited. It can only learn Electric-type special attacks, other than Hidden Power. But I assume this is ingame, so maybe I should tip my scales more in favor of Manetric. At least Manetric can learn Crunch (through breeding).
