Yeah, April is a good time for the US. I would have to wait for September/October, it usually comes in Australia around the same time as the UK. But I can't wait for the game to come out.

yeah, i made those myself:D on the site (Pokemon.com) there's a little asterisk by "FUTABA TOWN" say all names are tentative, which means thats it may change, so then i thought that i'd put the translation of futaba in which is "sprout/bud"
so i literally assumed to think it'd be Sprout Town or Bud Town but i thought Sprout sounded better.

If they stick to this release date that would be great, but any later than this i think will be a real pain. For me April doesnt seem right i actually think that they might release it earlier and April is just a cober up. But that just a theory. . . which i hope comes true.

I wonder if my Japanese Pearl's going to be compatible with my US FireRed, it said on Serebii that most Pokemon from different region games can go on D/P via the foriegn dex thing from Pal Park, I hope it doesn't mean only those Pokemon that are listed on the site can go on due to the foriegn dex feature and not the ones not listed there. That would mean only my Pikachu would go on there....... :(

NO. The names aren't in "full English", the person clearly nicknamed his Pokémon. How their name appears in any game further on depends on whether they're nicknamed or not.

I dont like having permanent nicknames when you trade, while were on the subject. I know its about respecting that persons decision and blah blah, but theres a name rater! I think you should be able to change it regardless of whether its traded or not, then when you trade it back, the OT can change it back to the whay he/she had it

you know what's REALLY strange? i just preordered my copy of Pokemon Pearl @ Amazon, and usually, when you select faster shipping, you are charged several bucks more.

being the impatient person that i am, i just went along and originally put in in 1-2 days shipping and went along with paying an extra 10 bucks more than standard for shipping. that's when i looked at the "Estimated Shipping Day"... it said April 23rd.

i then went to the next priority shipping option (which is 5 bucks more than standard) and it said April 24th. this was fishy, so i looked at free shipping... the 26th. then i looked at Standard, which is a flat 5 dollar fee, and the Estimated Day was the 22nd. maybe i am misunderstanding the Shipping Day with Arrival Day, but either way, the Standard Shipping Option (3-5 days i beleive) would get here either before, or on the same day.

Alright...

1. Shipping Day isn't always the same as Arrival Day. It could take time for them to mark the games & ship them.

2. My guess: a lot of people signed up for the faster shipping methods already, so your order would take longer to be processed since there's such a long list. However, few people signed up for the standard shipping, so your order would be shipped out fast.
