I'm getting Pearl coz Pakuria Has only ONE WEAKNESS! *Dragon* while Diagura has two Dragon and (forgot)..

Yeah, I also prefer Dairuga to Parukia but the exclusives on Pearl are very tempting. I think they're more important though than the legendary that's obtainable. Besides my brother is getting the opposite of whatever I get so we can always switch over the exclusives that we want / don't want. So I think I'm gonna go with Pearl.

Its the other way round. Parukia is Dragon/water, Diaruga on the other hand is Dragon/Steel.

I'll get Diamond if I had the money to buy a DS, because diamond is my birthstone and the Diamond exclusive is better IMO. But with enough money I'll buy both.

no, Diaruga is only weak to ground, while Parukia is only weak to dragon. steel types are resistant to both ice AND dragon.

the only advantage i can see between the two is that diaruga has more hp and has qualitative resistances, while parukia has a little more speed and has a wider range for attack effectiveness.

i go for parukia.

For a DS game, I think the worst they can rip you off is around 50 bucks.

But I have my bets that they'll be around $39.99 or maybe even $45.00.

yes but having purchased both doesn't solve the problem. you still have the pokemon on two different cartridges, and unless you plan on purchasing ANOTHER DS, i don't see how buying BOTH cartridges will solve the problem of not having ALL the pokemon, or at least the pokemon you want to try out. if the plan is to try out the different pokemon on both cartridges over WiFi... well, geez, that sorta defeats the purpose doesn't it? rather than purchase another cartridge for nearly $50, you can get a WiFi usb for about $30, and there you go, there's no need for both anymore. you can trade over WiFi as long as your DS doesn't run out of power.

and umm, yes, DS games when first released are like $45 bucks max, but i can only imagine D/P will be about $50 considering the production class it is in. either way, just going into a Gamestop (at least around here), R/S/E are $25 used, which i find is rediculous because GBA is an older format. R/S/E was actually $39.99 when it was first released, and that's for the GBA. there haven't been much (or any for that matter) DS games that are so global and technical in its WiFi gameplay as D/P, and that'll surely affect the pricing of them.

I cant wait till it comes out only 50 more days to go and I just remembered I can get pearl on my birthday (July 7) and then I will have both games and I cant get a ton of level 100s on both because I have over 30 level 100s on my fire red

I'm deffinately getting Diamond when they both come out.
Then after I beat the game, I'll probably pick up a copy of Pearl so I can trade back and forth to get the version exclusives and build up my team and such. :) I'm SO EXCITED!! ..I can't wait. xD

I actually voted Diamond, while I meant to vote Pearl. Whoops. I'm getting both at the same time anyways.

Point being, I'm gonna play Pearl first because I want Muumage and Bunyatto more than Donkarasu and Sukatanku.

I'm pretty split even when it comes to Dialga and Palkia. I really think they're both equally as cool.

Probably getting both but I prefer Diamond. I love all the exclusive pokemon and Pearl''s are the weird looking ones (Who LIKES bunyatto?). The only thing I don't like about it is Dialga , I wish the pokemon were the other way around (Palkia with diamond's pokemon , and vice versa) .

I got Diamond version and play it very early, April 22! That game is really great than other old version! 'Cuz it has 3D models! But and still 2D too... I have a PKMN: Diamond Target Reservation Card for that game, I keep it, I never throw it away. But one problem, PKMN Diamond & Pearl Nintendo Official Player's Guide doesn't have Pokedex! Grr! I want to know what they leave and new technicals! Well, I'll wait for The Ultimate National PKMN, May, 27. I really need it!

Heh, I got Pearl because my younger sister got Diamond. Although I do envy the fact that she can catch Murkrow and Stunky but that's what trades are for I guess. I'm happy I can get most other Pokemon without trading. I also have a strange tendency to bypass the first title out of the Pokemon games. (ie Blue over Red, Silver over Gold, Sapphire over Ruby)

I got diamond. Why? Well, I like Diaruga better. He just looks cooler overall. Palkia on the other hand is more of a defense type which I don't like. Plus, the pokemon that you can catch only in Diamond are way better then the pokemon you can only catch in Pearl.
