Contest ideas wanted.

well PPN is once again thinking about running a contest with prizes to be NDS', Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Pearl games.. as well as some other smaller prizes..

What I'd like from you is suggestions on what kind of contest we should run.. (our last contest was a trivia based one and did fairly well)

so post your suggestions and ideas.. then we'll put the best of them in a poll for all to vote on..

The contest could possibly run for 12 weeks, making a final pool of twelve finalists

Of course to show creativeness, you could do a fakemon contest! The most creative, well-balanced, and original Pokemon would win with runners up, honorable mentions, and stuff like that. I know a couple of people have fakemon they'd like to show off, so this could be a good idea people would participate in :3

I tend to agree there as well where in a trivia (like last time) or a caption contest, anyone can enter / participate equally.

We may run this contest with BMG and perhaps PokeBeach if he's still in good standing with Nintendo/Pokemon USA. A proposal is being worked up right now to send to both Nintendo and Pokemon USA for sponsorship of this contest. Wish us luck.

Oh. In that case I'd like to be a judge. I'm not very creative at stuff like that, so I think I'm better suited judging, if you'll let me of course

We'll be picking judges from the staff of the involved sites and hopefully a rep from Pokemon USA.

What we DO need is some image suggestions (post them in this topic) that we can present to the Nintendo and PokeUSA people as well as any 'rules' you think we need to have.

So far the sites who will be running this large contest are: PPN, BulbaGarden, and PokeBeach (maybe) with the actual contest running at www.pokeleague.net (http://www.pokeleague.net/) once we get the format down and an interface built. We will duplicate the contest here at PC as well so there will be many places to enter.

I know this sounds sad but on neopets they're used to be this guess that picture and it was like blury and you would have to guess what it is..We could do that here get a picture of a pokemon put it in a blure so noone can really notice what it is and if more then one person gets it put all the names that got it right in a hat and whichever is drawn wins.

wow i like the what is this pic (blurred) and the fakemon ideas.. i have some dp guides left over and may hold a small contest to give em away.. maybe i'll even get a couple boxes of cards or a game cart or 2 as well.. i'll have to see what PPN can do.
