Shared Story: Within the shadow of time

Shared Stories are things Shadow and I have worked with for a long time. They're script fanfictions done by the both of us (and they're made and qualify for this forum, for Rolling Pichu's information). Basically, Shadow and I work on this story alone. Feel free to comment, though!

- Shadow Inc. Underground , Year 2007 -
Shadow: "I'm rather bored, sitting here, doing nothing. Is there anyone who doesn't know me nowadays, Kenneth?"
Kenneth: "Not a chance. We introduced ourselves when Ash, May, Max and Brock were around, and now that twerp is hanging out with some new girl."
Shadow laughs.
Shadow: "Hah. But I think Ash knows how to deal with me one way or another."
Kenneth: "If only they didn't know us..."
Shadow: "That's it! We have a working time machine, right?"
Kenneth: "We were just part of Team Rocket back when they didn't know us! Are you crazy!?"
Shadow laughs at Kenneth, then sighs.
Shadow: "Did you know... that I had prepared for the day I'd see myself in the future for a long time? This base has been here for longer than we've used it for our operations!"
Kenneth stares.
Shadow: "It can't be helped. This is when my thoughts will come into reality. I'm going through the time machine to the year 2004! Oh, and send the Super Awesome Grunt Unit through the time machine later, so we can perform our underground operations!"
Shadow: "Oh, and you too."

- Viridian City lake, Year 2004 -
Ash: "So Misty, I guess this is where we say goodbye?"
Misty: "You're not going to miss me."
Togepi chirps.
Brock: "C'mon, don't think like that. We'll eventually see each other again."
Two strange figures appear in front of them.
Shadow (present day): "Well well, if it isn't Ash Ketchum."
Ash and company stare at Shadow.
Ash: "Who are you, old man?"
Shadow: "Old... man... huh."
Shadow grabs Ash by his collar and throws him into the water.
Pikachu: "PI-PI-PI!"
Pikachu attempts to thundershock Shadow. The electricity bounces off.
Misty: "What?"
Shadow: "Electricity-proof. Sorry, but..."
Shadow gets a crane and catches Pikachu with it.
Ash: "Pikachu!"

Team Rocket stares from behind the bush.
Jessie: "Look at that guy! He's ripping us off!"
James: "He's got, like, every little gadget we've tried and failed!"
Meowth: "We will NOT let some newbie take Pikachu from us!"
Jessie: "He's right! NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY takes Pikachu without our say-so!"
James: "I'm feeling the urge to leap and recite the motto..."
They jump out of the bush in front of everyone.
Jessie: "Prepare for some copyright trouble!"
James: "We'll file our patents on the double!"
Jessie: "To protect the world from common rights!"
James: "To back this up we'll give you some bites!"
Jessie: "To denounce the evils of human morale!"
James: "To extend our reach, that we shall!"
Jessie: "Jessie!"
James: "And James!"
Jessie: "Team Rocket, blasts off at the speed of light!"
James: "Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
Meowth: "And don't forget me!"
Wobbuffet: "Wo-WOOOOOOBB!"

[Shadow]

Shadow glares at Team Rocket, an eye twitching.
Shadow: "Always as annoying, I see... To think you outranked me at this time. Well, I had just joined..."
Jessie: "What are you talking about? Are you a member of Team Rocket?"
Shadow: "I was, once. And I don't have the time for you three. NIDOKING! Hyper Beam!"
Nidoking jumps out of its Pokeball on command, instantly charging a ball of energy in its mouth before firing it in beam form square at the three Rocket members, sending them flying through the air, as per usual. Shadow chuckles as he watches before feeling a small tap on his leg, prompting him and Nidoking to look down. Brock's Forretress was at his feet and beginning to glow.
Shadow: "AIEEE! Darn you Team Rocket! Darn your distractions I say!"
There's a large explosion as Forretress sets off its signature move, sending Shadow and Nidoking flying into the woods, Pikachu sailing into Ash's hands, who frees the rat from its trap. Pikachu squeals happily as it hugs its trainer.

Shadow and Nidoking are stopped mid-air by a strange force once they are out of sight from the twerp crew.
Rocket Shadow: "So I'm this pathetic in the future?"
Kirlia: "Kirl!"
Shadow and his Pokemon plummet to the ground as Kirlia lets go of his psychic hold on the pair. Shadow huffs as he wipes the ash from and remnants of his machine off of him.
Shadow: "Let's see you take him..."

Ash: "Look, it's a Team Rocket guy!"
Misty: "This kid looks like the guy we saw before."
Brock: "Nah, this guy's smaller. Maybe a little brother?"
Rocket Shadow: "I'M AN ONLY CHILD!"

Shadow: "Now that is a lie."

Rocket Shadow: "And also... Prepare for--"
Ash: "We heard the motto more than once."
Rocket Shadow: "Right. Kirlia!"
Kirlia glows, and levitates Pikachu, and it flails while in the air.
Ash: "Hey! Let go!"
Rocket Shadow: "Hypnosis!"
Pikachu stops flailing.
Rocket Shadow: "You are mine now!"
He grabs Pikachu and runs off.
Ash: "Get back here!"

Shadow: "Good work not warding off the crowd."
Rocket Shadow: "Quiet, you couldn't have done any better - you didn't escape the Forretress, after all."
Shadow: "C'mon, let's run off!"

[Shadow]

Shadow smirks and tosses a Pokeball behind them, his Venomoth emerging.
Shadow: "Stun spore!"
Venomoth flaps its wings, sending an orange cloud of dust into the air that Ash and friends shortly run into, causing them all to collapse, paralyzed, as Shadow and his younger self make their escape.
Shadow: "That better enough? Venomoth, teleport me to the base."
Rocket Shadow: "Kirlia, you too."
Both Shadows, their Pokemon and Pikachu disappear before Ash can recover.

Ash: "What was that Pokemon? I haven't seen anything like it in Kanto or Johto..."
Ash flips open his Pokedex, which has not been destroyed multiple times by Shadow, yet...
Pokedex: "Kirlia, the emotion Pokemon. A rare breed, found primarily in the Hoenn region. No further information."
Misty: "Hoenn? That trainer must be from far away..."
Brock: "Or rich enough to import such a Pokemon. Who knows what other strong Pokemon he has...?"

Both Shadows arrive in the newly built base, Rocket Shadow locking Pikachu in an electric proof cage. The present day Shadow sits in the chair made especially for the evil lord, the young one glaring at him for taking his seat.
Shadow: "So why hasn't that thing evolved still? I've forgotten..."
Rocket Shadow: "Why do you care about my Kirlia?"
Shadow: "No reason... Say, you might remember, what did you do with that stone Sabrina gave you long ago?"
Rocket Shadow: "How... Don't mention her!!"
Shadow chuckles and flips on the computer next to him.
Shadow: "Now to calculate what else to change to give me the best possible future..."

[Haruki Hanai]

Shadow: "So, one thing we can do is cover our tracks. As far as I know, our cousin Mont--"
Rocket Shadow: "Don't mention him!"
Shadow: "-- and the other twin and little brother..."
Rocket Shadow: "Geez, you forget much about me, don't you? Er, you in the past, moreso. Those two haven't finished schooling yet!"
Shadow: "Okay then, Monta--"
Rocket Shadow screams.
Shadow: "I also remember how I came up with Shadow Inc."
Rocket Shadow: "Hey! I just came up with that!"
Shadow: "By looking at me in the future."
Rocket Shadow: "Hush, you're confusing me now."
Shadow: "Anyway, if you were to power up your Pokémon now, right in front of me, I'd probably have them in my belt now."
Kenneth walks in.
Shadow: "Oh, Kenneth, have you finished talking to your younger self too?"
Kenneth: "It's weird talking to someone who's me, and getting ready to abandon Team Rocket."
Rocket Shadow: "Wait, how do you--"

- Viridian City Lake -
Ash: "Where could they be?"
Misty: "They couldn'tve gotten far. It's only been..."
Brock: "Uh guys, we've been paralysed for ten minutes. They could be anywhere by now."
They all stand there. Ash decides to yell.
Ash: "PIKACHUUUUUU!"
A woman with red hair, hers tied back, wearing a rather large dress, approaches them.
Woman: "Ohh, did you say you were looking for your little Pikachu?"
A man with blue hair, a necktie and a blue top approaches.
Man: "Don't worry! We'll help you look for them!"
Brock: "I'm sorry, but do I kn--"
Man: "SO! LET'S LOOK FOR PIKACHU!"
Woman: "Follow me, twer-- er, kids! We'll find that little rat!"
Misty: "Um..."
A camera watches them.

- Underground headquarters -
Shadow: "These guys are persistent! Do they even know where they're going?"
Rocket Shadow: "Interesting. Those morons shouldn't even be called 'Team Rocket'! Do they have an intuition of sorts to find us?"
Shadow: "Don't worry about that. I'll find some other place to do my operations in for this time. I even brought one of my favorite little devices. And hence, it's time to play a little game..."
Both: "Mwahahaha!"[/font]

Umm.... I'm afraid to tell a mod that I don't like their story much, but... this is possibly the most despicable piece of trash on the market, and it stinks.

Heh- was that what you thought I'd say?

Well, I can't say I like script-fics much, as they do nothing for anyone's writing ability and aren't really the best ones for action-format. This fic really would benefit from being written out as an actual story, or being changed into a sprite comic. Something like that. Anyway, I can only say that if you wish to improve your writing, you could try improving the battle scenes, or spacing out the lines a bit more. (Not only does this make everything a little less confusing, but it makes your fic seem longer!) You could also try putting the "Stage Directions" in italics, to make it look a bit more proffesional.
