Download Pokemon Episodes or movies

Incase anyone is interested you can download all pokemon episodes and movies. Through a program called MIRC. Once you get MIRC connect to any atomic chat server. Example is scifi.atomicchat.net

Join chat room called #free_pokemon

You can download all episodes or movies from peer to peer by typing trigger words that connect you directly to peoples computers and allow you to queue files for download. IF you need any help just msg an op.

There are many different versions of MIRC, most are just different in appearence. You can download a basic version at http://www.mirc.com/get.html
Choose a username and etc. in the options window.

To connect to the correct server. Go into your status window and type

/server scifi.atomicchat.net

Connecting to any atomicchat.net server will allow you do join #free_pokemon, all servers are linked. A server list can be found here

Go to channels folder or list channels, both have icons on top bar

Channels folder allows you to add #free_pokemon to a list so that you can select it ot join fast or autojoin when you connect

List Channels allows you to search for channels, for instance if you type pokemon and list you will probally find a number of channels with the word pokemon in it, including #free_pokemon and then you can join by clicking.



Once you reach the room: Heres some tips how to download

Type !list

That will cause any user who is running a file server to respond with there trigger and some server stats.

Here is an example:

-Notice- [x] jkcity = [Fserve Active] - Triggers:[/ctcp jkcity Sleepy Snorlax & /ctcp jkcity Digimon] - Sends:[1/1] - Queues:[6/5] - Upload Speed:[28.9kB/s] - Message:[all Pokemon (english) episodes + movies (except 5) here. <> only a few season 1 digimon so far] - SysReset 2.53

To get access to the file server type

/ctcp jkcity Sleepy Snorlax

You will get a dialog and just accept. Now Type

dir this gives you a list of files to download

To download type

get filename example get pokemon_ep_1.avi

Your download might start, pending your acceptance, or without, depending on settings for mirc, customize for yourself.

Or file might be queued which means you are in line to get it. You can queue more then one file sometimes, it depends on that servers setting.

Other commands to know to use in server

dir lists files and folders of your current location in file server
cd opens a folder example cd folder1 , then type dir to see contents
cd.. goes back a folder
sends shows status of current files being sent, % done etc.
get allows you to get a file or queue one up
queues allows you to see the current list of queues

IF you need anyhelp, just msg an op. Enjoy

ok, i've gotten into the server and whatever, but whenever i try to get the file i want it always says 'invalid, use this form', what's that about?

oh, sorry.
i've gotten into #free_pokemon and tried two different people to download the episodes, but when i typed in 'get (episode name)' it always says it's invalid, and to use the form get < filename.ext >. When i try that it doesn't work. so what do i have to do?

Try highlighting the episode name and then typeing get "space" then pasteing the episode name. Try that.

but when i went in there again i realized that when i asked for a list, it gave me a list of the seasons, like they were files i had to open before i could choose an episode.... so how would i open them?
