Help with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon codes?

Okay, so I'm playing the ROM of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon on VisualBoyAdvance, but when I put codes in, such as Codebreaker or Gameshark, it keeps giving me the same error message:

'Invalid CBA Code. Format is XXXXXXXX YYYY.'

or

'Invalid Gameshark Code. Format is XXXXXYYYYY.' (or something like that.)

Does anyone know of any codes for that specific game that will work on the VBA? 8D; I'm on a Mac, by the way, so I don't know if anybody gets what I'm talking about..
