Well, Hacking Groups are mainly for helping people with their hacks, I'm not working on anything--yet. I want you to keep in mind that I shall come out with a hack, when I learn to script. Right now it's to get a Hacking Group up to help out with those other hacks, for now it's flipboi's but anyone who wants to join. It'd be cool to have a music maker in the group, but EmberOrange is finally back (yay) and I understand that you've gots work to do. Good luck to you as well my friend. Okay, nathanok, you said you don't do scripting or spriting. So with that proof of work you showed me, the mapping was plain, it didn't appeal to me much, and I noticed that you had a mix up with one of tiles, not major, but still. Besides mapping, you did some scripting in there, but basic text script, which anyone with a basic knowledge of scripting can do. Besides that, I saw nothing else changed. No title screen, no text changes, no palette or tile changes. I opened up the IPSed ROM in AdvanceMap, it really showed that you did it in a day. I'm sorry, nathanok, you just aren't what I'm looking for. Apply again once you have better proof.

You guys should use PokeScript. it's WAY easier then ScriptEd.

You have to find your own offsets with ScriptEd, but PokeScript finds them for you, plus the varible system is easier.

Overall, great for new scripters.

Hexposure and Translhextion. I seriously know how to change pokedex data, evolution data, edit moves. I'm awesome at it. Of course it is just G/S/C only. Still learning advance. So, if you want to put me in Hex Editing for G/S you can.

@foofatron:Alright, well I believe you with the Hex Editing, what with Chimchar as a starter option, and inserting new Pokemon. I am not looking for mappers if you've read the first post, so your maps mean nothing. And if you can only really apply proof of work after showing releasing a beta of Iolite, then I can't actually accept you as everything (and you do conclude that you've done EVERYTHING in your ROMHack?)

You've got two options Foofatron
1. Apply once Iolite has been released (a Beta of course) to be considered later
2. Give me a pre-release of Iolite through PM in order to be considered for application immediately

Hm, I'm liking the OW Sprite. And I guess you can do basic text scripts, but those aren't hard. Can you do anything else in scripting? Again, you haven't showed proof of work for everything, as you said you could do, so I'd need a pre-release of Iolite.

First of all, I'm not making a ROMHack, so your ideas won't be going to me. Now, on to business:

Did you use Dexter to make that PokeDex entry?

No.You must follow the steps.

1. Open Advance Text
2. Open Rom
3. Go to Search Button
4. Open Your Rom in VBA and Look at exsiting you want to get rid of.
5. Type in the first few words should show up.
6. Type where you want to put the dex entries for example I called mine pokedex entries on the bottom write the name of the Monster the dex entry id for.
7. Hit Write to INI

Thats for the definitoin in the pokemon dex.For the wieght and stuff you use dextor.

Oh.. well there's a program called Dexter that lets you change a bunch of stuff in the PokeDex entry including Height and weight, as well as the actual entry text.

It doesn't let you change the entary.It just lets you view it.Hopefully in the next verson they will make that compadibilty.

Yeah I taught Foofatron how to edit dex entries, I tryed to used dexter and I could change it but only if I knew the hex for it but I didn't, so I went into advance text.

@Furanki: Congrats, you're in for Pokemon Spriting, I'm not a fan of your trainer sprites.

@Foofatron: I'm not sure you really wanted to give me an advance version of Green Charizard's DP Premake ROMHack, did you? Because first of all, it's Green Charizard's and I have no proof you made the music. Second of all, the music in the starting town was the music you get when you ride in Mr. Briney's boat to go from Petalburg>Dewford or Dewfor>Slateport.

Okay, I'm about to update you. So Dex Editing as well as OW Spriting. Tell me when you think you're a good scripter. I think scripting will be heavily watched because we don't want amateur or fake scripters to ruin someone's game.

Hm, it's one of your better sprites, at least it's somewhat 3D. It's the most original Fakemon I've seen, since, you said it yourself, no evos or pre-evos for legendaries. It's alright, I guess, which is big considering I don't like Fakemon.
