I walk to school since it's very near where I live. I sometimes get a ride with the car when the weather's poor or my dad's going to work at the same time. So yeah. n_n

By something really gross, known as the bus system, which is highly ineffective... if my parents can drive me, then it only takes 15 minutes without traffic jam, but they have to work. By bus, it takes me anywhere from 45 minutes at least up to 1 hour though... because I have to bus to a transit station before I can bus directly to the university. Ugh. The time of standing out in the freezing cold of winter is also hideous. As much as I like snow, I don't like to stand in a pile of it without all the thicker clothing I wear when I'm all prepared to jump into a pile of snow~

Nyu, bike for me. The only time I don't go by bike is in the winters when there's a lot of snow and/or ice on the roads, in those cases I either hitch a ride with my one of my parents or just plain walk. I really prefer the bike, though, as it only takes 10 to 15 minutes for me to get from my home to school, about the same as by car. Walking takes about half an hour to 45 minutes depending on my pace and the bus connections are terrible where I live so yish, no bus for me.

It's near impossible to walk to my school. Since that would take at least 3 or 4 hours. Yes, it's that far from my house. I remember when one of my seniors rode a bike to school from somewhere near my area. It took her 2 hours only. XD

So, I take the school bus, which is great with me cause' its real quiet every morning. Since mostly everyone sleeps, we all get on the bus at about.. 6-6.30am every school day. XD If I oversleep (which is rare. I'm forced to wake up at 5am.), then, my father will unwillingly drive me to school. Or I can catch the public bus if there's enough time, I've yet to do that, however. It would take 1 hour on the public bus, of course counting the distance between the bus stop and my from school. XD

I walk. It's within a nice walking distance, and my parents are hardly up when I leave for school. In fact, it'd take quite a bit to drive there too, so I might as well walk.

I like to walk. It's good exercise, and I've always liked walking to school better than a bus anyway. You don't have to worry about catching a bus or a ride; if you leave late, you only have to worry about running to get to school on time.
The only time I hate it is when I have a heavy backpack like today. It's even more of a pain. It's days like today where I wish we didn't live on a hill.

I walk because my school is only 5-10 minutes away. XD The traffic lights always keep me back though ._. it takes like 5 minutes for the traffic likes to go red to stop the cars and allow me to cross. XD

On Monday to Thursday I have this thing at my school called Early Morning Band which takes place before school, so I have to wake up at like 6:30. o_O; My mom takes me in on those days. Then on Friday I don't have band so I really could take the bus, but it's my only day to sleep later! xD So I always miss the bus and my mom takes me in. But she doesn't mind, of course.

I'm supposed to take the school bus both ways, but my mom is never ready in time to drive me to the bus stop and I'm too lazy to wake up 20 minutes earlier to walk there myself so she just drives me to school.

I catch the bus home, though since it's a 30 minute drive. And then from the bus stop to my house, I walk a good 15-20 minutes. :\ I don't mind, except on cold days since I'm ALWAYS walking into the wind and that sucks. ;_;'

I had to do something like that last year. 25 minutes of walking in addition to public transportation, and I hated it. One reason why I dislike living in a house--away from city services.

I still use public transportation, but since I recently moved into an apartment, and a bus stop is like almost right outside, I don't have to walk much anymore. 5 minutes walking max.

Exactly the same here, its only like a 2-3 minute walk up a hill though, so I don't mind, I'm like the first home from my school, cause I live in the same village as the school, and everyone else lives in nearby towns and stuff.

I currently live on a university campus, and none of my classes are more than 15 minutes away by walking...so yeah, I do a lot of walking to get to my classes. Sometimes I'll take one of the shuttle buses, but those don't go to all the places I need to go - and I've been riding them less and less this semester anyways, especially since the one time I could use them the most is also the same time that all the drivers stop going to where I need to go for a while (in order to go off-line and allow someone else to start).

Besides, I could use the exercise.
