Your maps are fairly good. I have one small nit-pick in the seventh screenshot. The flower patch does not look good square.

Anyway, the story sounds a bit bland, though. Try adding some things to spice it up.

having those 3 pokemon as starters is quite unbalanced. heck, i'd love to start of with a jolteon or a flareon, but it leaves flareon at a major disadvantage. well... it depends how you use flareon. if people were smart enough to focus on its sp defense and attack, then it definitely has a chance against both.

awesome idea.

but seriously, you should consider coming up with a new name for the hack. XD try something else... maybe something that refers to the absence of needing stones to get them. or maybe something that refers to the connection between the 5 eeveelutions. or maybe just something as simple a name that refers to just Eevee. maybe you might want to focus the storyline about how so many people are interested in eevee and its reaction to certain stimuli. if you went down this path, you could transform the current storyline into something more meaningful, not just for you, but for whoever is playing the hack.

all i can think of is something like Pokemon Elements, or Pokemon Godai (japanese for "five great").

I think Samson's on to something. Pokemon Elements does sound good for this hack, Godai is okay I guess, if this were a Japanese hack. But yeah, the name shouldn't be Eeveelutions. It gives too much away. Usually the poke names for games have absolutely nothing to do with the game, except for the player's name. I mean, Pokemon Red or Blue didn't have anything to do with those colors. Well... back then the games were tinted red or blue if you played it on a GBC. Going off topic... Yeah, change the name. I like the sound of Elements.

this hack is cool, ill be keeping an eye on this one, i only have one problem, its with the starters, i think it should be you recieve an eevee and your rival recieves some other random pokemon that you cant get, normally i wouldnt have a problem with the starters, but i'm a fan of raising a pokemon from its lowest evolution because they're stronger that way, but its your hack, you do want you want, good luck, ill be looking forward to the first beta!!!

Yes, but as long as the thread's name is Pokemon Eeveelutions, the banner needs that name so that people who read the banner know which hack we're talking about. When the thread name gets changed, I'll remake that banner with the name Elements.

Hey, the new screenshots look pretty good! My only problems are:

1. The grass looks like Cabbage o.o
2. The X-Rocket members should have maybe a little more features to their uniforms, to distinguish them from regular Team Rocket members.

For some reason, the main trainer reminds me of a pizza delivery guy. e_e

Umm... I don't know if it's my ROM but everythings buggy. The tileset is just black and the room layouts are weird. I'm gonna get a new ROM and hope for the best... I really hope this is just a ROM problem.

Good... I was getting frustrated! :) Did your ROM increase in size or anything? That happens sometimes with tileset changes and makes the patch bad. Make another patch and apply it to a clean ROM to properly test it. Hope this one works!

Oh and I managed to go through the darkness to find... Getting the starters was really well done. Good job on that. May I make a suggestion? Some of your grammar's off. I'd fix it in the next beta. And "Do you want the FIRE Pokemon FLAREON?ANDER?" Seems like some text was left over from the original. Just a heads up. I'll test when a new patch is up.

Ok, i'm writing this from my brother's PC. I have some good news and some bad news.

The Bad news is my laptop won't boot up and i can announce that the HD has died, so all my work *POOF*. Gone.

I can't explain but the Red mixing in with the black wouldn't really suit, but that's just an opinion keep it.

I got to play the beta and i noticed there are a lot of bugs:

The sign on the first route says Granite Town. The first town is Ashview.

The movement position for the table in your house is messed up.

The Guy in Dusky Woods has his text cut off.

I´m playing it right now, and I´ve found something: In your house, if you go to the one square under your dad you can´t go there, but you CAN walk over the desk^^
And: I took Vaporeon, and in my first battle it gained 210 exp. It´s just about 15 exp away from the next lvl (lvl 7, not 6^^)
Is it supposed to be like that? And is Vaporeon supposed to learn Water Gun on lvl 6?
AND: in the near of Outkast see ther´s a girl on a tree (maybe a climber^^)
AND: The first market (in that town where Oak live) looks like Glitch city^^ (and you can´t go out)

Now I´m too tired to play the beginning again, but I will look tomorrow if I find some errors or glitches. (not meant to be mean, just want to help^^)

BUT: I like the starters (BUT you could put Espeon and Umbreon in too)

That´s all I want to say, except by: The game´s great^^

Hehe, I think i'll need to post another beta now, but i won't. I want to make some progress now on elements, so if you want to continue, there's a ledge in your hometown that you can walk through (It was put there so i could test the game).

Ive used a walktroughwalls code, since i couldn't find the above mentioned ledge.

Sad thing is, you have no pokeballs&pokedex from oak, since the shop is buggy. So you have to do with the 1 pokeball you find in the forest......

Some NPC's still name the forest "Viridian Forest" and when in front of your home town gym, it says:"Viridian Gym, closed"

EDIT:
- It seems that the shop after the forest is also glitchy, might as well use some codes for pokeballs then.....
- Ghost gym pokemon have the same Rock/Ground pokemon moveset as Brock's pokemon. Also, some dialogue says he is Brock instead of TJ.
- A boy who shows you the mountain has a lot of messed up dialogue.

That's because you haven't given the parcel to the professor. Which you can't since the mart is glitchy (You can get in, but you can't get out)

Find a Walk Through Walls cheat and use it.
