Type: Rock-Water
Dex Entrie: Crocosil lie submerged in rivers, so that the stones on their backs look like stepping stones. When suitable prey try to cross the river, crocosil can catch them with their pointed teeth.

And... Crocosil is a fossil Pokémon! That means that there is only one Crocosil in the game. The fossil is located in the deep and spooky Wisteria Catacombs. It's called " Ancient Teeth ". Have a look:

^^ This isn't the other fossil, btw. Much, much more common. I'm sure you'll be fairly annoyed at finding these by the time you finish the game. It's not a beaver or gopher, but 'early mammal' is sort of close. It's not exactly hairless either, the hair is just covered up. And those could possibly be it's teeth you see...

As you've seen, a lot of work has been put into the game. We've all been working full speed, and the next demo is almost done!
I won't be releasing any new fakes for a while, as all of my time is now going into completing the families and back sprites for the fakes that will feature in the demo. You'll be able to see everything soon though!

Now, about the demo, I'm going to tell you guys what's in it. The demo will feature 1 city and 1 route. Elloish City will be the city that you can go in. Route 702 is where you start the game, in the demo. You can pick to play as a boy or as a girl. ^^ You will be able to battle Pokemon, catch wild Pokemon, battle trainers, talk to the community, learn new things, and of course, you'll be able to have fun! ~Nevermore~ is about to show you guys things that are amazing!

Jingol
Normal
Jingol are common pokemon that live in vast burrows underground. They curl up into a ball to avoid harm from predatory birds such as Falcaw, the thick scales on their backs and head protecting them from sharp beaks and claws.

Jingol is the ratata of the Geor reigon! It's very common and found all through the game. It's based on a curious creature called a pangolin and will evolve into something much less cute...

Yeah! Thanks again for all of your support. About the catchable Pokémon in the game, they will be roddents, birds, and bugs. And as I said, you start on Route 702, which is the second route of the whole region. On that route, there are some lasses and youngsters. They all have Pokémon.

Of course paint is the only real possibility for spriting fakemon, but it's basically impossible to attempt someting sugimori-ish in paint.

Well, thanks for explaining all that, guys. ^^ You are all really nice. Now, today we are revealing "something"... What is that "something"? It's screenshots with a new character... Is it time for the Hot Flash?

[Hot Flash]

As you guys know, in every Pokémon games, there is an evil team. Well, in Pokémon Gale, instead of having an evil team, we have the government. The government of the Geor Region (GRG) is the huge problem in the game. They want to stop the legendairy Pokémon by catching it and make it faint - for ever. The GRG is a team that has few special members in it. View bellow for details.

• Leader: Melody
• Staff: Kamelia, Charles, & Patrick
• Grunts: Thomas, Adam, Hilary, Sophia, Carlie, Jack, Dorian, & Zoe.

The team has 3 bases all around the Geor Region. Their locations are bellow.

• Glamourich Museum Basement
• Consecrated Hollow
• Royaline Government Building

In the Glamourich Museum Basement, you will battle one of the staff, Kamelia. She is not hard to battle if you have well-trained Pokémon on your team. In the Consecrated Hollow, which is located in Lunar Town, you will battle a boy known as Charles. He is way tougher than Kamelia. Be sure to have strong Pokémon like Screegle. And last but not the least, in Royaline Shipyard, you will battle the last staff, Patrick. That guy is really, really tough if you don't have the right Pokémon to battle with. Is that it? Not at all. After that battle, the leader, Melody, will come and battle you. She is quite hard to beat. Like in Patrick's case, if you don't have the right Pokémon to battle with, you'll have a lot of trouble. Also, before arriving at all of those members, you'll have to battle several Grunts which are: Thomas, Adam, Hilary, Sophia, Carlie, Jack, Dorian, & Zoe. They are all easy to beat, if you're well-prepared.

Flameguru, we noticed that too. It will be change, soon. It's just that for now, we are focusing on hard things to do. But thanks anyway, man. And Celebi_XD, thanks once again. Royaline City is almost done... Only few more thing to add and take off. :3 It's amazing, I think. So be sure to check the thread really, really soon.

Also, ~Nevermore~ did some awesome new sprites... As well as concepts. She is doing an excellent job. What I can tell now is that soon enough, something huge will appear in this thread. With a lot of information regarding the whole's story. But now, let's go back to Royaline City. It's not the time to reveal it... But, what can I say is that in that city, there's something really important. And as you guys probably know, there's one of the GRG's bases in the city. Because of that, soon enough, when you guys will see the city, you will learn many new things about the game. From thelegendairy Pokemon, to the evil legendairy trio. Of course, we will not reveal them yet. But, we will give interesting clues that may help all of those Pokemon's discoveries... Right now, I'm still working on it. It's one of the hardest cities to make. Mostly because it's really, really, really big. Bigger than Glamourich City... And now, second Hot Flash of the day.

Now, for the demo. Since 6:00 AM, I was working on it. As I said the other day that it will feature 1 city and 1 route. It didn't changed. I'll give information right away.

• The demo starts when you choose if you're a boy or a girl. You choose your name. And then, Alder's daughter, which is Marley, will offer you 1 of 3 Pokemon which are: Herbycow, Firerox, or Pliadore. By the way, Novoni (One of our contributors) remade them. They look awesome! As for them, they will be release at the same time as Royaline City and the whole bunch of information regarding the game.

• You start your adventure on Route 702, which is the second route of the whole game. In the grass, you will battle early Pokemon: birds, bugs, and roddents. On the route, you will battle trainers: Youngsters and Lasses. They have weak Pokemon; so it's going to be really easy.

• When you arrive in Elloish City, you will have the time to heal your Pokemon in the Pokemon Center. After, you may have a quick look at the city. There are few houses and the Pokemon Trainer School, where you can learn many things about the world of Pokemon. After the visit to the Trainer School, you will see someone. And that someone is your rival. He/She will have 2 Pokemon on his/her team. One starter and one early Pokemon. After you battle him/her, the demo is over.

^^ I hope that you guys will enjoy the future demo, which will be released really soon. And... Not again? But yes, tonight, and now I say tonigh, screenshots of Royaline will appear... :3 Watch the thread. No joke...

Anyone who likes big tough pokemon will like the next one to be released. I'm not releasing a shadow yet, just some info. I's big, near impossible to attack physically, has a nasty bite and high attack and defense. It learns mostly high power physical moves, but could be halted by flames...
It won't be catchable in the wild but it's prevo will...

Starting up with... Yes, Royaline City.

Royaline City:

Royaline City is one of the largest cities in the region. Its the capital of Geor. The city is on the coast. Because of that, it became a regional port. I must say that it's not a huge port, since there's not many boats, neither shipyards. However, the city features many things like: A Pokémon Gym, A Contest Departement, A Fish Shop, Hydra's house, and the Government Building. All those places are important. Also, there's the Coraline Boat, which is a boat that takes you to Neosula Island and... something else. You'll come to Royaline City a lot of time during your adventure. Sometimes, it will be for fun and sometimes, it will be for missions. The city is just a wonderful place to hang out.

Fish Shop:

The fish shop is a cute little place where people come to buy real Pokémon. Those Pokémon are fishes, which are water-type. There are various choices. The cheapest Pokémon to buy is Magikarp, eventually. The Pokémon that's really expensive is... Were not going to tell now!

Government Building:

About the Government Building, were not going to show you the inside, yet. It's a surprise! But what we can tell its that its a really special place where the government do their plans to catch the legendary Pokémon. And of course, your mission is to stop the members of the evil government team. The other day, I posted some information regarding the team.

Royaline City Gym:

The 7th gym of the region. What's great in that gym is that its a cistern, at the same time. A cistern is a place where the water is scarce. So I thought it was a quite good area. To arrive to the gym leader, you must go through doors. But... You must battle every trainers in the gym, first. After that you battle them, Hydra will finally be reachable. And yes, the gym leader, Hydra, owns Water-Type Pokémon. They are really tough. None of the Pokémon that she owns have been reveald to the public, yet. However, she owns one and only Pokémon from a previous generation: Qwilfish. She (Yes, her Quilfish is a female) is not Hydra's powerhouse, though. - Now, you must have Electric or Grass-Type Pokémon to finish her quick.

After the league, when Hydra will be in her house, she will give you a Pokémon that can't be find in the wild.

Pokemon: Snaprise
Type: Steel
Dex Entry: Snaprise are pokemon that are particularly good at ambush. Once they have bitten onto something, it is lmost impossible to open their jaws again. Physically attacking a Snaprise is almost impossible due to most of it being covered in sharp spikes, but the wheels on it's legs are a weak spot, as if they are broken the pokemon will be unable to move.

Type: Grass-Ground
Dex Entrie: Spinifex's cute appearance tempts many unwary travelers to try and stroke its leafy coat. This is a mistake, however, as hidden in the leaves are tiny needle-like spikes that stick into anything that brushes against them. Newborn spinifex have rough wood masks, but after a few weeks they polish them to a shine by rubbing against rocks.

By the way, Spinifex is based on a plant called spinifex. That plant is a type of lush looking waist high grass that grows all over the outback and looks perfect for grazing, but is completely useless. It's totally inedible and the tips of the stalks have sharp needle things in them; walking through spinifex is really painful, aparently.

I kind of agree with Houndoomed here. Unless you give a suggestion on how to correct something, you shouldn't criticize it. And, if you just want to say they suck, it makes you look like an (donkey), and also makes you look stupid. Not to mention it's just plain rude. Personally, I can understand you guys's reactions, but there are people like this on every forum. Trust me, I should know. Every so often someone spams up the Pokemon board at the Nintendo forums with these kinds of pointless and hateful messages. It just goes to show how useless and immature they really are. Oh, and maybe they're compensating for something. (Kind of like those really small people with monster trucks, or lord Farquad with his really tall castle. First of all, if it bothers you, don't even come in this thread. As I said, long ago, I will not release Battle System screenshots. And as Nevermore said, she will not release the starters' evolutions, until the demo. That's our right, and we're aloud to do whatever we want. Second of all, plain screenshots are plain screenshots. Do you remember when CoroCoro released Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl screenshots? Of course. And did you whine by saying " Ehhhh... Plain screenshots.... "

And you see, I chose to upload the demo as a RAR file because I wanted to. If you need Win RAR, then go get Win RAR. And of course, I'm not going to upload a demo as a ZIP file just for one person, sadly.

I would like it if Vav could come bacvk too. I mean, with the exception of that one guy we all flamed, we all pretty much love this game, as well as Vav himself. Also, he's a great guy. Actually, yes, it is script. It is the most basic form of code, and it runs everything with a computer chip, from a Mac to a PC to a calculator. It's called binary. Unfortunately, I couldn't possibly interpret it out of context. (The 1's and 0's are translated to higher forms of code, usually into hexidecimal, and then into actual code, like what you see in the script editor of RMXP)

Just because Vav's not posting anymore doesn't mean the game is dead. It most certainly isn't, everyone is still working on it full pelt, and we've been busy thinking up more features to make the game interesting.
Just like the real games, there'll be fun little sideplots and diversions you can do to pass the time, and maybe get something useful.

red one looks like a fox thing with his butt towards us and head slighty looking at us

blue one looks also looks like a fox or ferret thing with a long flexible body

am i any where close to the real thing?

Heh, not really. The closest thing is the long flexible body, and the fire one being a fox (but you can tell that from it's prevo anyway). Nice tries though! Anyone else have suggestions?

^^ You won't have to wait long. The geor dex is nearing completion, and has almost 300 pokemon in it. We've had to take out most of the old pokemon otherwise finding places for them all would be rediculous, but the ones that remain are important to the geor dex.
