IM "Actual" Contact List Size?

Everyone has like a billion of names and contacts in their MSN, AIM or whatever Instant Messenger contact list. Everytime you talk with someone new, you add them almost immediately. However, how many of them do you talk with on the minimum of a weekly basis?

How many contacts are there on your list and yet you don't even know why they're there? ;D

Number of people on my contact list(I trimmed it a few weeks ago): 87

Number of people I talk to on a regular basis (at least once a week): 12, maybe.

The overall list used to be up somewhere in the hundreds before I trimmed it down. XD

I had to recently cull about 100 addresses because they were no longer in use or they had or wanted nothing more to do with me.

On a regular basis I probably talk to two or three out of them. It changes as things arrive.

I have 22 contacts in total for MSN. And I really only talk to 4 of those people on a regular basis. XD I already cut down my list from in the 30s to what it is now. I'm probably going to have to cut it down again.

For AIM...well, I don't really sign into AIM anymore. Most people on my contact list there annoy me.

Haha, on MSN, my total contact list is 187. I should really clean that out sometime. ><;

Of those people, I talk to four on a regular basis. XD

I also have 145 AIM contacts... and I talk to all of two on a semi-regular basis. I think a clean-up really is in order, ugh.

I have 74 contacts on my MSN contacts list right now, but I used to have about 115. I did a big cut a few months ago, because have the people never even came online anymore. D;

Out of 74 people, I talk to about 6 of them regularly. Or at least I try to.

I have 196 people on my AIM list, and I talk weekly to say ... 10-15 of them.

I have a lot less contacts on MSN (not sure how many), since I only add people there who I talk to really.

I've about 49 contacts. Whom I only chat to 9 most of the time, sometimes I find myself struggling between 12 convos. :x

I have 33, Used to have loads more, but I delete often. And, out of all, I only really talk to about one a day. I'm just online if someone needs me..not for interest much.

On MSN I have... 172. I did a big clean out not that long ago and deleted over 100 of them. Out of them, I talk to about... 12 weekly. Five daily.

And on AIM I have 52, but I talk to two people on that. Mainly because I don't know who the other 50 are. XD

I have 105 addies on MSN but 2 of them are me! I need to delete some people.

I talk to about 6 - 10 contacts daily.

EDIT: OKay, I've just cleared 43 contacts so now... 62 contacts

I have 40 contacts on MSN at the moment, I normally try to keep it down to 30 maximum and delete people that never come online, have never IMed me or only added me for help on PC.

Of them, I speak to 19 at least once a week. I speak to 11 every day, or at least everyday we're online at the same time.

As I typed this I've just deleted 5 contacts that I haven't spoken to in a few months. So, 35 now.

I have 50 overall. That includes a few accidental duplicate accounts and some people's multiple accounts... oh, and me. Don't ask.

Out of those, I talk to Matt daily, and sometimes other people. It depends on who's on and if they talk to me. I'm very shy when it comes to starting convos, so I'm not the one to start them. ^^;
If I had to guess, I'd say five weekly? o_o;

I don't add people, people add me. ;D I personally don't care who's on my list, it's not like it's too terribly big right now.

As for AIM, I don't use it enough to be bothered to count. If I get on AIM, I only talk to one person, or it's to transfer files. Not many people added me on it either, so it doesn't matter.

At this pont, i really only use AIM, and have 83 contacts there, but really only talk to like 7 or 8 of them on a regular basis.

Most of my friends are in college and or there's a time zone conflict so I miss them being online. :/

Well, on my AIM buddy list, I have about 320... I talk to 2% of them perhaps.

I don't know about my AIM buddy list, and I'm definetely not signing on to look, but let's just say I don't really like anyone but 2 people on my AIM list. Which is why I don't go on AIM.

Anyway. On my MSN contacts list, I've got 44 contacts, 11 of them are blocked people I keep to see when they're online and offline, 12 I never talk to at all, and out of 21 others, I only talk to 7 regularly.

Well, since MSN craps out on me a lot, I hardly talk to anyone on there anymore. But I talk to about 4 of those people regularly. On AIM I talk to about 8 regularly, since most are from school.
