Can anyone help me? I've been using Diamond for almost a week and had no problems. Then today, I tried to play and an error message came up saying something along the lines of the .sav file being fatal. Anyone know what I can do to get that file working again?

Outside-15-25% (ugh)

So, that's my only problem, I think I'll wait until I get a real copy, or for the next update on No$GBA.

Hey guys,
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/9392/gbabv2.pngChange youre emulation options into this,and it wil be fast if you play Pokemon Ranger on no$GBA it wil be very fast with this emulation options.
Pearl:about 60%.
Diamond:I think same as Pearl.
Ranger:70% or 65% and sometimes 75%.

Shiv
May 1st, 2007, 04:49 PM
okay, use Unlimited Disaster at 10%. NDS Cart backup media should be FLASH 256kb.

Now if you really want it to be superfast but are ready to lose sound quality then do the following:-

Sound Output Mode to Digital Mono.
Sound Desired Sample Rate to Low.
Multiboot Normal/Burst Delays to Fast/Fast.

Enjoy! It works at like 1000% for me in places reaching a minimum of like 70%.

This (see post for URL) should explain, Nintendo finds nothing wrong with having a second copy via a rom if the one you own crashes.

I had a problem occur, on the way to Celestic, the screen became blank, I was wondering if anyone else had this trouble?
You are half-right. You must not have read the whole thing, but I'll post it here for you.

There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition that if you have one lawful copy of a copyrighted work, you are entitled to have a second copy of the copyrighted work even if that second copy is an infringing copy. The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game to ensure he or she has one in the event of damage or destruction of the authentic. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet.

So, yes, you can replace a damaged game with a ROM; however, I'm guessing 99% of the ROM downloaders do not get them for that reason. Your argument is true, but flawed once logic is introduced. Nice try. Also, I think if you have a rebuttal, this should be split off into another topic, or we need to continue it in PM. It's become it's own separate topic inside this one. It might be a bit distracting.

Does anyone know if there's anyway to recover my save file when it says it is "fatal"?

YourNobody
May 1st, 2007, 10:47 PM
Anytime something says "fatal" in generally means beyond hope. Just start a new game. The emulation isn't perfect at this point, so some errors are bound to happen. That's just how it is.

Anyway, I can't get passed the first fight. It just freezes after I beat the bird Pokémon. Anyone know what's wrong?

Note: I would post an image, but I don't have 15 posts. People should know what I'm talking about, though.

Edit: Nevermind. I found out it was because I didn't have sound on.

Q: When I try to deposit, the game freezes.
A: It seems that when you have an important number of pokemons, you won't be able to access your PC anymore, so catch only what you need and really want.

Well before you save you need to apply this IPS patch to the rom: http://www.sor-gts.de/files/lgc-pkmd.ips

I'm pretty sure the 'cheats' part of No$GBA doesn't work yet...however: it takes some fooling around with to get it right but yes, you can cheat. You need to find the Freeware - No$GBA > VBA Battery Converter and Pokemon Save Editor (English version I'm guessin). Paste this link into your URL address and it gives you a step-by-step process. Happy hacking! The bolded parts you'll have to replace with http/ and com

nice guide really works thanks

Semele
May 7th, 2007, 11:25 AM
cynthia, linking to other forums is against the rules. You could just quote that post here.

Okay, I figured this out.

1. Go to your NO$GBA BATTERY folder and copy your save file somewhere else in order to back it up in case you mess up.

2. Open NO$GBA.ini in notepad, scroll down to the line:
SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed
and change it to:
SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed

3. Open No$GBA (make sure your save type in NO$GBA is FLASH 512 kbytes) and continue your game. Save the game, and then quit NO$GBA. Check the size of your save file in the BATTERY folder. It should be over 500kb.

3. Use the follow program to convert your save file, it will remove the first 76 bytes of your save:
Freeware - No$GBA > VBA Battery Converter (http://www.angelfire.com/games6/battery/) | KermEd@Gmail.com
To use it, click the "Configure" button and set the directory to where your new big save file is. In the empty text box named "New .sav File" enter a name for the new file you will make. Now select your Pokemon save and press convert file. It will create a new save file with the name you typed in.

4. Download the Pokemon save editor:
RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting (http://rapidshare.com/files/27882633/pokesav_038b_english_translation_0.3.exe.html)
Open your new converted save file (the one you made in step 3) with it, and when you are done cheating your ass off, click save. Now take the new save file you just cheated with, and put it in your NO$GBA save folder. Now name it the same name of your original pokemon save, so that NO$GBA will load it when you play the game. That's all. Now I shall enjoy my 99 of every TM, and I had a sex change just for the hell of it.

Lastly, once you use your hacked save in NO$GBA and save, you will not be able to hack it again right away. Once you have used your hacked save in NO$GBA and saved, you must use the NO$GBA>VBA converter, then hack.

This is pretty cool. With a partially working emulator, we can at least see how the game is working. I wonder if it can be hacked now... Because previously we couldn't hack it because we wouldn't be able to see what was changing, so there was no point, but now we can see.

Hey, I had the exact same problem. There really is no way to fix it entirely, the best thing you can do is fill up the box that has too many pokemon in it, so that when you catch a pokemon it automatically goes to the next box; then you can access the new box and it won't freeze, and you'll be able to move your pokemon; however you won't be able to access the old box. I hope you didn't put anything important in that box. I deposited my trained Buizel and never got it back :(.

One of my friends at school said his brother managed to get the wifi working for no$gba, just wondering if anyone else had managed this yet?

ALSO

What about the cheats for no$gba? I put an action replay code in the cheat box, ticked action replay v3 (left raw unchecked) and clicked ok, i then selected my cheat and clicked ok. I followed the instructions for the cheat from the cheat thread, but nothing happened. Have i done something wrong, or has no$gba got a different cheat system?

This may not belong here, and if it doesn't please move it. I don't intend any infractions.

Anyway, I read at DGEmu that if you have a certain number of pokemon, and try to access your PC, the game will freeze. Unfortunatly, it doesn't list what the actual number is. If anyone knows could they tell me? I've just started emulating Pearl on No$GBA and want an idea of when I should stop catching.

I think I posted earlier in this thread about this. I don't know the exact number, but I'm almost positive you don't have to stop catching. What you do is, once you get a few Pokemon in a box (I'd stop before you get halfway full because you never know, but it would be interesting to test...) use the 'Move' option to distribute them evenly throughout other boxes. What I found is that you can have a ton of Pokemon as long as there aren't too many per box. I beat my game so I won't be testing the limitations on this soon, but I hope that helped.

My game runs faster with the 'unlimited mhz disaster 50%' setting than 10% or 100%. Maybe my pc can't handle the 10% setting. No$ says 60% but in most buildings, it feels very close to 100. Feels alot faster outside too. With this speed the game is playable, except for the fact i cant save. :P

Are the bios and/or firmware even necessary? I only have no$ and it runs well. except for the saving.

Yes it is still playable, it is because the new version don't require patched roms, so you can save and load just of your original rom

Just download the rom again unrar it with the same name as you're patched version and you van load your game

Ok. I've been readin all 14 pages tryin to see if I can get No$GBA to go any faster haha. I have a 2.8 Ghz Processor, 2GB of ram, and a 256MB GeForce graphics card.. and the emulator still lags quite a bit. So I'm guessin that you have to have one hell of a computer to run this at normal playable speed at this stage of emulation?

I got a new ideas for any of the numbers, 1 and 5 are the fastest.

1. You need a fast cpu and a lot of memory.
2. Wait for the next verson for a better speed.
3. Using a bike or unlimted disater 10% (if you has fast computer) helps since the player walks slow.
4. Scan your pc if there any of the virus.
5. If you have a bad video card, get a good video card if you want.

I have a feeling that I know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask anyway:

Wi-fi's over the internet, right? If it is, can you still trade Pokemon with a computer version of the two games, or is it restricted to the proper, Nintendo DS only?

Well, no, since it's designed to run on the DS, it has to detect a component in the DS and use it. Since this is an emulator, it just doesn't have that certain component, and so Wi-Fi Connection in-game cannot be used. I'm hoping someone can develop a plugin or something so you're able to use your internet connection to connect, but until then, you need to use a flash card and play it on your real DS.

Okay, I've looked everywhere and have seen everyones problems except for mine. XD So apparently I'm the only one with the computer restarting deal. I get to play alittle bit, usually to where you first meet the professor by the lake then whole computer restarts. At first I thought it was just the computer so I tried another one and it still does it. Oh and I've replaced everything thinking it was a bad emulator or rom and such. Still does it... :S I've tried both P/D and same thing, but Blue Rescue Team works, and Pokemon Ranger works perfectly. Just not these. I thought it had something to do with the bios but not sure how all that works. :/ So if anyones has any ideas I'm pretty much desperate now, so I'd be much appreciated. Thanks

I might add that the D/P Emulation is far from flawless yet, which results in missing graphics and very slow emulation of the actual games.

http://i16.tinypic.com/303ek2q.pnghttp://i18.tinypic.com/3yc9kib.png

And before anyone asks, eNDryptS, the DS Bios/Firmware, and of course the D/P ROMs are illegal, which is why you will not get a link to them here.
If you ask for either of them, you will receive an instant Warning.

I have download both on No$Gba Emulator!

I would just like to say that there's another DS emulator (other than no$GBA or whatever it was called) that works too. It's called iDeaS and you don't have to do any crazy stuff for it like you do the other one. Just download the application and ROMs and open the ROMs using the emulator and it works fine. It's still pretty slow but simpler if you ask me. I'm not sure about saving using the emulator though. But anyways, I'm just letting you know about this option as it's what I did since I could get the other emulator to play the ROMs properly.

I don't believe the iDeaS loads the graphics correctly, when I played it sprites and tiles didn't load correctly and the DeSmume doesn't load the rom yet.

NOTE! To ones that lag!
People who have a No$Gba and it goes really slow...Make sure you have the settings right, if that is not the problem then it is the RAM speed on your computer that is, if you have slow RAM then you will have a slow emulator. Just wait for future versions of the No$Gba.

Really?? That's weird, I haven't had any problems with it at all. Only that battery saves don't work, but save states work and that's just as good. I haven't had any problems with the graphics or sprites or anything, just that it's pretty slow, 'course I'm using a slow computer in the first place so that could be it. Pokemon Diamond - in towns
Advance wars dual strike - the battles

After almost a week of experimenting and playing with the nocash options, I traced the problem. I haven't replied early beacause i had to go to school. I found out that sounds must be on when playing juz like you said. Thanks!

I also found a way to increase the speed of the ROM but just a lil bit. Increase the resolution size of your computer to the highest (i think its increase since you are increasing the size of the graphics). Emulation will increase by 10%-20%. in my computer (which is slow) i had a 50%-90% emulation outside. Hope i helped.

@Rageman:
How did you emulate the game at 100%?

@everyone with a slow emulator.

look you can change all the options you want but the big thing that makes it so slow is your computer. on my old pc, it ran at bout 70%-90%. if i was lucky. even worse when i put Vista on.(NO VISTA) now that i upgraded, it run at bout 300%-350%. still NO VISTA.

Note this from the No$ site:

No$gba v2.4b basic DS Wifi emulation (*), and full GBA e-Reader emulation
No$gba v2.4c some final details (mainly GUI and e-Reader related)
(*) no$gba/wifi can send/receive packets, commercial programs are still getting stuck somewhere in transmission. For example, with pictochat, slave machine(s) are realizing when a master machine is creating a chat room, but the slaves aren't sending response packets to the master. Probably due to some still undiscovered status/control bits. I've added a bunch of new info about wifi hardware in no$gba help text (debug version). Additional info on the missing bits and bytes would be very welcome!

So, Soon enough, we will be able to emulate wifi(2.4d or 2.5)

Rather than doing the entire setup myself I found myself a complete package, with the 2 patched ROMs and the working emulator. You need to know where to find, indeed ;)

Anyway, I'm playing on my laptop and without the whole Mhz-10% I'm running at 85-100% outside and 100-120% in battle/buildings. Even saving works perfect, I'm one happy guy right now.

Is your sound enabled? If it isn't your game will ALWAYS crash after a battle.

The main thing to do if you want to speed up things is turn the sound to Low (11kHz) and emulation speed to Ultimate Mhz Disaster - 10%. 20% is very little thought, no idea if it will help a lot. My 2yo laptop can play with high setting around 100% so a powerful computer should work excellent.

@Brane: Please read previous posts.
@salmjak: the problem is in your computer. i fyou have a slow one, it will be slow no matter what you do. in my old computer i emulate at 80% speed outside but in my new computer i can emulate for up to 200% outside. unbelievable? he he he.

for my previous problem, i have already solved it. when your emulator freezes when using the pc, just open the move pokemon option and change box. the deposit option should probably be running normally now.

You can link using NO$GBA however, I am not sure if you can link between two games. I have tried linking with a Diamond and Pearl ROM but I only get to use one ROM at a time. You can't link using the VBALink style. Simply Right-click on the games screen and choose link. A new emulator will be attached to the emulator and you can now use the two of them. It goes VERY SLOOOOW when linking two DS ROMs. If anyone knows how to link between two games in the NO$GBA, please tell.

The only problem is that the game freezes when I select to continue my saved game. If I rename/delete the savegame or set it to Flash 256K it lets me play the game. Anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem?

If your emulator laggs. Go to emulator settings and make sure your NDS Cartridge memory is 512K. Go to Emulation speed, If you want put it to Unlimited 10%MHZ. Or Realtime.(doesnt make much of a difference anyways.) Anyways, Close the options box and save setting. not only these are ways to solve the lagg problem. It also solves the save problem.

If this still doesnt work, Close some programs that you arent using, or Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE. That's winodws task manager. You can only gain acess to that on a computer's administrators user account. Go to windows Task Manager, see if there are any programs that says NOT RESPONDING. Close those programs. Then click process. Scroll to the left to find memory usage Press the button twice. to see The highest number is on top.
Close the programs that is taking up the most memory on your computer unless the username says system or network.

That should work. If your still getting lag problems. you need a new computer, because your computer does not have enough memory for the emulator to run properly. (512MB is reccomended) Or go play at a library or grandmas house. No$GBA uses ALOT of memory. 80,00K at the very least. Don't run too many programs while playing on your emulator.
That's it.

By the way, does any1 have any information on the Wi-Fi feature? because im dying to play competitively. and It's impossible to complete the pokedex without online communication.

BlueLucario I think 512MB of ram is a bit low for a system requirement, cause that's what I have. In the beginning the game runs pretty fast... a bit too fast :P But once I'm in my room the speed drops down dramatically to 50-60% and outside it's about 40%. It's very frustrating. All I have running is Norton Internet Security, do you think that's the problem?

I also noticed that No$Gba needs a lot of CPU power. Am I right?

Yes, you are right. No$Gba needs aLOT of RAM. Go to windows task manager. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE(That is if you are on a computer administrator account.Some computers will open this feature by pressing the button) Click on Process tab.Then scroll to the Right and click memory usage click on it twice. so the program with the highest memory usage goes on top of the list. If norton uses the most memory usage( Anti-Virus/Secutiy Software tend to hog all memory.) Then close it. It's not reccomended. So if your going to shut down norton, I recommend Disconnecting from the internet so you wont get any registry files(aka Spyware/Adware) Which will slow down the computer even more the point where it crashes. Spyware can still get into your computer even if you are not downloading anything.

Did you say that when you started the game the game lags when you start off in your room? Did you save? and kept your save file or do you have to start a new game? did you change the setting of your emulator? Go to NDS Cartridge memory(Can't remember the name) Select 512KB. And make sure your emulation speed is either Realtime or unlimited 10%MHz. If that doent work you need to patch the game.

Hope this helps.

Freeing RAM and CPU is not really going to help. NO$GBA never uses any more than 90MB of RAM when playing DP, and maybe another 80MB of swap.

On top of that the fastest I can get it to go (no sound, monochrome, everything unneeded disabled) is 90% when in a 3D part, otherwise it can go about 900%. My computer is reasonable fast (3.2Ghz) and when NO$GBA is running only about 60% of my CPU cycles are being used.

What this means is that no matter how hard you try, its not going to run full speed. To put it simply the emulator is still not optimised enough to do it no matter how fast your computer is, as its not using 100% CPU anyway. Until a newer version don't expect to get it running full speed.

You need to change the emulator settings

Go to emulation-----> Emulation settings

I'll give you the settings i made for the emulator.

Emulation Speed-----> 16.78MHz Realtime, Auto

Reset/Startup Entry point--------> Start Cartridge Directly

Video Output--------> 24bit True Color

GBA mode-----> VGA (poppy bright)

GBA Cartridge backup media-------> Auto

NDS Cartridge backup media---------> FLASH 512KBytes(Do this or the game wont save)

Solar sensor level------> Bright Sunlight.

Sound Output level------> Digital Mono(fast)

sound Desired Sample rate-------> High (44kHz)(Best)

multiboot port----> None/disabled

Multiboot Normal/Burst Delays------> Medium/Medium(stable)

Number of Emulated Gameboys.------> 1

Link Gamepaks------> Gamepacks in all GBAs

Link cable type-------> automatic

Those are the settings I made with my emulator. I reccomend you change these settings and KEEP IT THAT WAY. If you play around with the emulation settings too much you'll mess up the game. And rollback your save data.

If your concerned about the save Data. Don't play around with the emulations settings. If you do your save data will get roll backed. meaning you claimed to have beaten roark then saved, but when you load your save file you end up where you last saved, like before you got your starter. before saving with roark even if you saved after that. It's less likely to crash.

I have another 2 questions. How do you make it go faster? It's super slow when you go outside. And how do you save?

Simple, Do either realtime. or unlimited 10% on your emulations speed. If that still doesnt work the problem is the programs running on your computer. Close all the programs, internet explorer usually. takes up the most memory. If you think you have no programs running and you're still lagging. Go to windows task mamager. (press ctrl+alt+delete) or right click your task bar, and select task manager. Click on the Process Tab. Scroll to the right and click, memory usage column twice, so the program using the most memory is on top. Go to the bottom of the task manager and see your CPU Usage. If it's high than 75% (75% usually goes to 100)you need to close some programs. Find the program with the most memory usage(That does NOT Have the name SYSTEM.) Right click that program, and click End Process tree. You will see a Warning Dialog Box. Click Yes.

OR

Find NO$GBA.EXE right click it. Find Priority, and set it to High. (And I mean HISH, nothing higher than that.)

to make it go faster change it to %10 in emulator speed. It'll go lke in the 80's outsid and %130 inside

From time to time it will still lag. but usually it's

If you have any memory hogging programs on the task manager, process tab that says SYSTEM. I wouldnt reccomend Closing it. but try it anyway, if your really too freaked out to do it, give me the name of the program thats using too much memory. then I will tell you whether or not to close it.

LOL, Funny. I had that problem last night. It's very simple to fix it. If you had No$GBA 2.4f, this shouldnt be much of a problem to fix. All you need to do is encrypt the rom. Not patch it, you need to encrypt it.

I'm probsbly not allowed to link you directly, but I suggest you google. And Look up EnDryptS. . thw website should be green. Scroll down to look for the program. Download the zip file, and unzip the compressed file. Then unzip the compressed file in the folder you unzipped. Then Extract the EnDryptS zip sile to the same folder the rom is located. Execute the program, then it will automatically search for a rom in it's folder. Then you will have the option of encrypting it. Encrypt the rom. Open the emulator up again and SET IT TO REALTIME EMULATION SPEED. If you don't you'll just see a black screen.

If you have a compressed version of the rom, I suggest you extract the rom somewhere and encrypt that rom, Another copy of the rom won't really affect the save file, as long as the save file and the rom names are the same.

Oh you also need. If you have just downloaded the emulator.

ndsbios7/ndsbios9 firmware.bin(Don't move it or copy/paste it it won;t work. Just as soon as you open the rom look for an extension eith the name NO$GBA.(I forgot the extension name. and rename it to firmware.bin.)

I 4got to mention that your NDS memory settings are 512KB. nothing else

NO$GBA 2.4f can play that and also DSEMUME0.6 ok?

when i first used them, I also I used DSmuME emulator. THast one didnt work either.

NO$GBA 2.4F works fine with pokemon D/P you just need to encrypt the rom.

um, if you have NDS why play on emulators?
And if you don't have NDS then why not get one?

I try to change the "Reset/Startup Entry Point" from "Start Cartridge directly" to "GBA BIOS (Nintendo Logo)" When I reset the emulator. I get this message saying "The ROM image has crashed." I can't fix that...

I have a problem using the pc storage system. I try using the "move" option and can move the stored pokemon from box to box but can't move any of my party pokemon into the box. Any tips on how to fix this?

I suggest you redownload the newest version. It works completey fine unless you have Windows 90 or something. Even with win98 it works

This meaning everyone at least try iDeaS

Ok, I downloaded both the newest update of no$gba (which i have been using) and IDeaS. Here's the problems I got from those: the new no$gba only goes to the load game screen. When I hit A to load the game, it goes black, like it is loading it and then nothing happens. THe IDeaS won't allow me to open my saved game from no$gba, a game I've been playing for months now. Any ideas to remedy these?

The new No$gba version won't load our saved games properly. only sometimes.

It seems like that save files either don't work or become unstable when you update No$gba. Your best bet is to start a new game.

Hi everyone I was wondering if you can help me

Pokemon D/P plays well for me

I downloaded Pokemon Ranger and the speed and gameplay is fine, its just the images are all transparent and I can only see the outline of the characters

Does anyone know what settings I can toggle to fix this problem, or can it even be fixed?

Thanks

I think it is just like that, by the way Pokemon Ranger on the computer is REALLY hard, i mean twisting and turning your mouse takes forever to master

well this problem is solved in the latest version of No$gba. Pokemon Ranger is now officially fully playable, no more transparent pokemon and characters, works great at normal speed :) Hard to play with a mouse, but still playable :D
Wish I could say the same about Diamond and Pearl :( *Still too slow to play :( *

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY LOAD YOUR GAME:

Go to Options>Emulation Setup and make sure the settings are this:

EMULATION SPEED, LCD REFRESH:
Unlimited MHz-Disaster, 10%

RESET/STARTUP ENTRYPOINT:
Start Cartridge directly

VIDEO OUTPUT:
24bit True Color

GBA MODE:
VGA (poppy bright)

GBA CARTRIDGE BACKUP MEDIA:
EEPROM 8KBytes

NDS CARTRIDGE BACKUP MEDIA:
Flash 512KBytes

SOLAR SENSOR LEVEL:
Bright Sunlight

SOUND OUTPUT MODE:
Digital Mono (fast)

SOUND DESIRED SAMPLE RATE:
Low (10kHz) (fast)

MULTIBOOT PORT:
None/Disabled

MULTIBOOT NORMAL/BURSTDELAYS:
Medium/Medium (stable)

NUMBER OF EMULATED GAMEBOYS:
1

LINK GAMEPAKS:
Master only (Single Gamepak)

LINK CABLE TYPE:
Automatic

When that's done, go back to Options>Save Options. Now, save your game then go File>Reset Cartridge. The game will load up, and if you did it right, your saved game should load.

NOTE: FOR THIS TO WORK YOU HAVE TO START A WHOLE NEW GAME.

Enjoi!

If i put it on Unlimited MHz-Disaster, 10%
The game goes 2 as fast as normal

The music goes superspeed you walk superspeed everything...
Is that a must?

OK
I did all the options
Saved my game with Options -> Save
Then i did File> Reset cartridge
Game wont load, just again new game

It appears that this thread is unnecessary. If you have no$GBA 2.5c+, then you can run DP from the off.

Go to emulator-zone dot com and grab the version of no$ that is there.

The only setting I had to change was save type, or something of the like, and I changed it to the largest value. (The one with 512 at the end)

Reset the cart, and you're good to go.

Remember, no$ can't run from .zips, like VBA, so unzip all your DPage first.

Did you start your game over? You might also have to delete your old .SAV file, so I suggest you do that. THEN try again.

MAJOR UPDATE: No$gba v2.6 is released!
No$gba now with 3d rendering!
I downloaded the latest version and it's faster now...

Unfortunately, No$gba is no longer freeware.. you have to donate in order to obtain it now.
visit http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm for more information.
Once a newer version is available, the old version becomes freeware..

I chose those above settings and saved the options and reset the game cartridge and I've still had no luck with loading my game.

Just be to clear, I do go to file, and then save snapshot correct? When I try and load the snapshot it says the rom-image has crashed.

Anyway, if somebody could help me out that would be great.

Edit: I never even thought to save from the in-game options menu, brilliant, it works now. However, if there's a way to increase the speed (although from what I've gathered it's not possible yet) then please let me know. With the exception of battles (which run around 200-300%) everything is about 3/4 speed.

Why don't you try No$GBA 2.5??? It's much better and more faster. That's the one I'm using. And to let it save, I remembered a tut in Youtube in No$GBA to make it save in D/P..... Btw, Au Revoir...

I'm using 2.6 and it's fine now.

I also found my tut on youtube (sorry if this is giving hints).

Okay, I'm having some problems with No$GBA. I downloaded v2.5 and got it to where it will run really fast, but won't let me write a snapshot or make an ingame save. 2.6 WILL let me save, but it runs at about 40%-50%. Any ideas on how to help me out?

I just needed NO$GBA and the Pokémon Pearl ROM to make it work. No bios or firmware or whatever. It's really slow tho,

No$GBA 2.6 comes with a brand new 3D renderer. It's allows you to play D/P at a full 100%, but it is quite glitchy:

http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/8682/deletesw6.png

In 2.6 you can switch between the two, so you just have to decide whether you want smooth gameplay or smooth graphics.
