I have in my No$GBA folder: the BATTERY and SLOT folders, biosnds7.rom and biosnds9.rom,
eNDryptS Advanced, firmware, etc. And I also copy the eNDryptS Advanced file to my Diamond folder and patch my game or whatever. But its still not working! Am I need to do something else or what?

I love this thread. I was gonna use this exact technique to play my Pokemon ranger rom but I got a new game for Christmas.

btw, if any of you get up to the part where the legendary pokemon goes crazy and the world is shown in 3d, I'd like the screencaps of the towns in the 3d views. I thought it was the coolest part of the game as I had never seen the Pokemon world like that ever.

Set the save mode to "256K Flash". I don't actually have the program right now, so I can't tell you exactly how to do it, but it'll be in one of the menus.

Save states don't appear to work, but if you can save in game and the game works nearly 100%, then you can save and load the save in game.

Edit: Just learnt how to load an ingame save

1. Make a copy of your "firmware.bin" file or rename it firmware2.bin
2. Now copy "NO$GBA.INP" and call it "firmware.bin"
3. Start no$gba 2.4a with a rom, change the settings to "Start Cartridge Directly" and have the save type as "FLASH 256kb"
4. Options > Save Options to save the settings. Close the No$Gba2.4a and open it up with a DP rom and now in-game saving should work.

It sounds more like your pc. If you're using a laptop, you can set the battery setting to maximum battery performance which would greatly improve the running rate of the rom and emulator. If you use a desktop, there have been settings posted as to how to obtain a lower lag rate. MMM if you want, just try and download another rom and see how it runs. It couldn't hurt.

All I had to do was download NO$GBA version 2.6 and the D/P rom, and then change my settings. Right now it works perfectly, but I don't know it if it'll slow down later in the game. Right now, I'm just training for the first gym. I can't post any links, since I'm fairly new, but if you search for Babyluigibro on YouTube, you should be able to see the settings needed to run the game correctly.

To use cheats on NO$GBA, you have to use the Enable code. I know I most emulators you don't need them, but this one does.

i completed pokemon diamond on no$gba!! (using cheats though... obviously) i didnt cheat to get every pokemon though, just incase you thought i was a big cheater!
this cheat worked fine

Wild Pokemon Level 100
Press L+R and then go to the items menu. When u are there there should b a stack of 493 heart scales, hold L when going into the grass, the number of heartscales you have depends on what pokemon you catch.. E.g. if you wanted to catch a Mew you would have to toss loads away until you are left with 151 heartscales..

i also used pokesav, you can find tutorials on google for that. :D
to use cheats just go to the utilities menu in game, then press cheats, add a cheat, type the code u want in, tick ACTIONREPLAY DS then click ok
it should come up on the main cheats menu, to activate it simply double click it so that a tick apears next to the cheat.

I have No$gba v2.6a and with this version runs at normal speed and you can save easily and load up again also you enter any ActionReplay and Codebreaker code.

All I got to say is well done to the German or whatever country the developer is from because he has made a DS emulator better than iDeaS and other rivals.

i had the same problem, but then i tried v2.5c. Works perfect, doesn't like run as fast as v2.6a but heh who cares at least it's possible to save. Try v2.5c. I'm not allowed to tell you where to get it, donate to no$gba or use your imagination.

Thanks, but I still get the same error, even with the v2.5c. Although the graphics and speed are better then with the 2.6 :S

Ive been using v2.5c to play for awhile now but it just pretty slow compared with 2.6. When i go to play on v2.6 it says your save file has been Corrupted and Deleted even though i know my save is perfectly fine. Any ideas?

Hai guyz, I'm new here. I really only joined so I could ask for a summary of this thread. Basically, I started playing Pokemon Pearl earlier today. I was using No$GBA 2.6a, and I quickly fell into the communication error problem. I have tried to download another Pearl rom, but for some reason it treats it as if it were the old ROM. Is there a way I can fix this Pearl ROM?

If not, I am currently downloading a rom of Diamond, and would like to know how to solve the problem before I start playing. I know this would have been covered already, but the earlier pages just confused me.

You need sound turned on. It's a weird bug. Even having it low quality will fix the problem. Without sound turned on, it freezes at the end of any battle.
