View Full Version : Need a host for my topsites
Koroku

My VPS... can't take them. The topsites max out the server connections and make it blow up.
Would anyone be willing to host the JKNTop50? Please? :)

How much bandwidth does it take...?
And what's to say it won't kill my shared server? x-x;

I'm looking at a good ~10GB of bandwidth at the least.

I get 100 GB of bandwidth, and I'm barely using 10 MB right now.

lol they say you get that much, and you do, but if your using more resources, meaning cpu wise, they will cut you off. and if you have a site using 300GB bw, your most likely using some cpu usage, unless you just have a ton of media and a few people are using all the bw.

Topsites are really resource heavy, which is why I was looking elsewhere...
But actually, I think the VPS may be able to do it. It's been stable for awhile now, after we did the upgrade. :)

Glad to hear it ;D It's strange that you had the problem though.
And all the buttons are showing ?? now. Did you not upload the numbered ones?

According to the server statistics, it's barely even using up ANY CPU usage at all. It's not like he hosts any humongous sites or web sites that rack in hits, such as Pokeuniverse, BME StudioZ and Super Mario Bros. Z.
And as for Koroku, if your VPS can handle it, then it's good to hear. ^^;

I turned off the numbers ones for now to keep resource usage low.

Might also wanna add no-cache headers on to your page as well. :);
