You know the champ Steven that you find in Meteor Cave (in Pokemon Emerald only). I went to battle him today and I'v notice him saying "the crisis in the space center in Sootopolis"

Has anyone else noticed that?

I speak to him some times, and he doesn't say anything like that. Are you sure you didn't drop it in water? Or have any other damage come to the cartridge? Maybe he got a bonking on the head.

I'm positive no GS no other cheating devices, I did drop it on the floor by accident though

I'm sure that mistake was noticed before, and it doesn't have to do anything with cheating, it's just a mistake.

You don't change text by cheating, you improve your game. There's no cheat that's like 'Change so and so's TEXT!! wow!!! Don't you just wanna do that?!'

It might have been because you dropped it on the floor. How high was it from?

It must of been a Translation error is what I though the first time I've seen it which was today (I think this only works the first time you battle him)

oh, that well i noticed it and hey it was a mistake,well GF is well group of humans so they may had make a mistake, and besides theres a article in the internet that says so, and even though you drop it in the floor the gameboy will get damage not the game

Translation error, nothing more. NoA probably mixed up a few names or brought in spelling mistakes that weren't found in the quality check.
It has nothing to do with a cartridge dropping on the floor, as even then the game text won't be changed.
