So, since I haven't had a sprite thread since like...September, and since I've been completing some half-finished things of mine lately, I figured it was time to make a new thread.

My newest stuff:

Little unnamed Dragon/Fire pokemon (doesn't look like much of a dragon now, but it becomes more dragon-like as it evolves).

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/nepryne/icons/kitsunote.gif
Kitsunote, a sound-based fox-like spirit. Lives inside things such as wooden flutes.

Some older stuff:

Green Mew "revamp", though I did so much editing to it that I'm not even sure if it counts as a revamp anymore.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/nepryne/icons/vibrava_yellow.gif http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/nepryne/icons/quilavarb_6.gif
Yellow-style Vibrava and Red/Blue style Quilava. Some favorites of mine. :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/nepryne/icons/fuwante_anim.gif
Animated Fuwante/Drifloon, who is...kinda the wrong color, but it still looks good in that kind of blue anyways.

No bigger pixel art pieces to show at the moment - I'm already having enough problems between my connection and photobucket at the moment, and I don't feel like digging for the links. Maybe later, though.

((Can I use Kitsunote? I need a few Sound-Pokémon... ^^))

Try making the part of Kitsunote's tail where oit comes from the flute more round... it looks somehow square-ish now, IMO.

Try shading the lava thingy in the unnamed fakemon's back a little more... look at Macgargo or Slugma, that'll help you to shade it. And give its feet some shades too. ^^

Sure, you can use it! I just realized that I can't find the info I put on the original sketch of that right now, but it wouldn't be too hard to come up with something (or find the sketchbook...).

Hm, I think I see what you're talking about for the tail...and the stuff on the unnamed one's back is supposed to be fur of some sort. :) That and the feet were giving me problems, but I planned on going back to that sprite soon to tweak things on it anyways (though it is nice to know what all could use fixing).

That is some good work. One question though, how do you do it? The reason why I am asking is because i have been wanting to do my own ones for a while now and can't find a decent help sheets in which to do it on. I love the Mew sprite. Could I add it to my signature please? Full credit will be given.

I LOVE the dragon/fire fakemon and the devamps, but the mew looks like quasimoto o.O;

How I personally do it is that often I'll have some kind of drawing underneath, whether it's something that I quickly scrawled out in a program just to use as a guide, or a full-blown sketch that I scanned in and shrunk down so I can pixel it over (which is what I did in the Kitsunote's case). It also takes a bit of practice and just being careful with watching where you put the pixels.

I also tend to use programs with layers in them (such as photoshop or the GIMP), though that's not needed; they just tend to make things a bit easier.

Sure, you can use it there. :)

Haha. XD Well, it is the Green version's Mew, which originally looked like 10x as deformed.

Cute! I like the little Fuwante animated sprite!
You're off to a good start! I look forward to more. ^_^

And more shall be had. :]

Something I've been working on for the past few nights - I figured if I had an old-styled quilava, why not make an old-styled typhlosion as well (since I absolutely love typhlosion)?

And here's the result.

Oooh, very nice. :B

As Seeg said, the Typhlosion looks like a plushie. XD

Kitsunote, the animated Drifloon, and the unnamed dragon/fire one are especially excellent.
