View Full Version : The Argente Academy [PG-16]
April 2nd, 2007, 02:03 PM
OOC: Hello everyone! It's time for my first RP here! Basically, we'll all be playing students, with possibly a few teachers at a pokemon trainer's academy. So, if you'd be interested in playing a teacher in one of the subjects, please message me with a fitting profile, and we can work something out. If we don't have enough teachers, I can "NPC" Some of them. So without further delay, here's the introduction!
The Argente Academy in Kanto is located deep in the mountain ranges seperating it from Jhoto, the facility itself located in a broad plateau on the edge of a canyon, taking advantage of the temperate weather, and varied surroundings. Here, many students come to learn from the core skills of being pokemon-compitent, for a suprisingly low tuition, allowing nearly anyone to enroll in the massive facility. Instead of strict years, every teacher grades students individually on performance in each subject, and pass them only when they've reached satisfactory compitence. The teaching staff are varied, but all are renown experts in their specific fields, resulting in a stunning faculty all around. The head of the academy is a somewhat mysteriors propreitor, going by the name of Dami Rose. Recently things have gotten much worse, with increasing accidents, and rising tensions between the various faculty and staff in teaching and management of the facilty, and it seems that the Academy is teetering on the edge of anarchy. Moreover, there have been rumors of the reborn Tean Rocket taking interest in the Academy. Like most Academies of this type, the curriculum is divided into a few loosely overlapping subjects, as shown here.
Battle Tactics - This class taught by the Pokemon Vetran Robert Price. He has short grey hair with a tinge of brown left, and hazel eyes, with a cheerful demeanor most of the time. From basic to master level battle tactics, Mr. Price teaches the students the basic mechanics of a pokemon battle, tactics, strategy, and finally, specialist styles.
Breeding ((Open)) This course involves the basics of pokemon geniology, reaching through, and eventually cultivating in the advanced husbandry of pokemon species. This course also doubles as a basic care course, such as nutrition, healthy excersize of the body and mind, and even grooming for various body types.
Pokemon Training - This couse is taught by the lovely Brandi Taylor, a young, and lovely woman with brown hair bleached into a bright blonde against brown eyes. Rather than strict battle, or pure understanding of your pokemon, this class focuses on the actual training of your pokemon, varying from simple, to highly advanced and unique techniques to better our pokemon. This is also physical education, for both trainer and pokemon.
Mythology - This course taught by Merjay Yerhace will teach you all about the legends surrounding pokemon, both the so called "legendary" pokemon, and otherwise, and also doubles as a philosify course, so far as pokemon are concerned.
Survival As most trainers prefer a vagrant lifestyle of wandering, this is your basic survival course in any type of wilderness. Taught by the somewhat odd Leon Valentine, you'll learn everything from emergency first aid, to traversing, and obviously, surviving in nearly any type of environment.
Psychology- This course is taught by Professor Ryouga Hibiki, a middle-aged man with shaggy black hair and slightly reddish eyes. He carries a very calm demeanor, and his Pokemon Companion is an Alakazam. This couse will really get you inside your Pokemon's head and take your bonding to a whole new level!
History ((Open)) This course is a required one, but dreaded by most students. While uninteresting to most, this course will teach you all about the infamous history pokemon have made through the past, including the history of the elite, gym leaders, and various teams.
Gym Leader Training Course - This advanced course is also taught by the Pokemon Vetran Robert Price, a former Gym Leader himself. This course is highly restrictive and will only let the best of the best in. You will learn how to be a Gym Leader here, of course.

Fallen Angel_Messiah Of Black Roses: Leon Valentine
Fallen Angel_Messiah Of Black Roses

Name: AJ Valentine
Appearance: AJ is average height and weight, he is Hispanic male which means his skin tone is dark, a tannish kind of tone. He has snowy white hair, that almost looks like platinum. His hair is in a short ponytail, about six or seven inches. His eyes are a angelic baby blue that seem to scream ' Oh my god! It's an Angel!' but his eyes are pretty deceiving. AJ has a medium type face, Not to tense, yet not to 'Cute' it's the whole pretty boy thing, with a great sense of 'I can kick your ass! And it's plastered on my face!' AJ wears a cross pendant right around his neck, it is a shining silver that just seems to kick out at you. AJ's main attire consists of a tight black undershirt made out of generic material, nothing real special. He wears a somewhat small dark crimson red combat vest with flames on the topper sleeves, on the back of the vest it reads in bold white letters ' Made In Heaven' and over that he wears a large white trench coat that has a cross on the back that is black and also the title, 'Fallen Angel'. He wears tight black pants, a nice leather texture. He also wears black combat boots, they have an iron sole in each shoe for more efficient walking. He has black fingerless gloves, they aren't fuzzy, just real padded. He is muscular, but not in the way that muscles are bulging everywhere and it looks like your kind of on steroids... AJ has a gold stud in his left ear ( Not Gay!)
Personality: Despite AJ's Appearance... He's a real nice guy! AJ plays the 'Good Cop, Every survivor counts. Doesn't matter what happens to me' card. He also tries to make sure that no one has to get hurt in a bad situation and this will also go for the bad guy, he has tried to keep this trait ever since learning that a long line of murderers and crooks were his descendants, he will try to make everything right and make up for his descendants sins. He is an overall nice guy but does get fed up pretty easily by annoying people, he has a very great level of sarcasm and has the greatest comebacks for when he is insulted, which would seem out of character for a guy like him. He has a pretty decent sense of justice, and not to mention the fact that he loves adventure.AJ isn't someone you really want to anger, but to anger him you have to actually try since it takes alot to actually anger him. Considering getting fed up and actually getting angered are totally different. He is serious and strict in battle but will also have a sense of humor to lighten up all the tense moments, this makes him a good companion. Even when your on his nerves he will try to help you out, but as said before he is not good to be around when angry. And that is pretty much AJ, the 'good cop who wants everyone to be safe'.
Rioru (Lucario's Pre vo)
Survial Expert Teacher
Name: Leon Valentine
Appearance: A tall sturdy Hispanic man, though he is mostly caucasian. He has slightly highlighted blond hair, his hair is short and slicked back. Leaving no bangs. He has dark crimson eyes, almost glowing. But his eyes aren't very visible because he wears shades, EVERYWHERE. His nose is balanced well with his face, which is pretty tensed up. Not Pudgy at all, his teeth are pretty bleached; so when ever he smiles it's almost tedious. He is well muscled, not to much but not scrawny. He wears a black leather shirt and shiney black leather pants, he has long black combat boots.
Personality: Cool, calm and collective. Always good in a situation, but will give off the feeling of suspicion sometimes. He doesn't yell much but can still scare a student with his stare and smile combo. He is very intelligent, but doesn't let on to anything. You can never really tell what he is thinking or feeling, a wild card. But he might suprise you, so watch out.

reserve me a spot please.
April 2nd, 2007, 06:07 PM
Name: Mike Anone
Appearance: Mike is a tall and skinny male with tanned skin. Long brown hair that sometimes can be seen in a ponytail other wise his hair will cover his brown eyes. Long black pants that are being held up by a large belt that holds each one of Mike's pokeballs. A white long sleeve button shirt covers Mike's upper body and an open black sweater vest with the Argente Academy's school logo on the upper right hand side. A white book/travel bag can be seen hanging from Mike's side.
Personality: Mike is a lay back kind of student. Never really too serious until it is time to battle or for some kind of test. He likes to tell a few jokes every once in a while but like battle he knows the time for jokes. He is an honest person that has a sense of moral direction but can lose his temper when he is around people that can be called stupid. Mike is determine and will to see things to the end. In some situations Mike would be a bit scared and not feel like doing it but knows the eventually he knows he has to stand up to situation.
Pokemon: Char (Charizard) Beedrill, Staryu, Nido (Nidorino)
I also PM you to ask to NPC a teacher.

I'd also like to reserve a spot if that's possible. If not, I'll try to get a template up by tonight.
April 2nd, 2007, 07:30 PM
Name: Cain Ritham
Appearance: Cain's pigmentation is pale yet he still retains some tan. His eyes usually put him off for people thinking he is an albino. Cain doesn’t watch his weight yet his body build up is still Slim. Cain brushes his teeth every day so you can see them white but still have some plack on them. Cain's head however is usualy covered with a black cap that has the team rocket logo on it. This usualy takes up the entire top of his head.
Cain of course is seen wearing a black hoody that he bought when he started training. Underneath this is a white tank top that he washes every week. But only takes it off then. His pants are light jeans that get darker down to the ends of his legs. The belt Cain wears is a simple brown belt. The buckle is silver in color yet Cain doesn’t know if it is real silver. Down towards his feet he wears black socks with stripes on the top of them. His shoes are white sneakers with grey soles. The shoes have traces of blue in random places.
Personality: Cain's personality is complex. When seen by strangers Cain will occasionally be shy to them and not show his face. He doesn’t care what other people think so he ignores any insults directed at him. When asked a very hard question it would take him longer then normal to answer it. This usually annoys people who want to ask him simple questions. In his free time Cain spends it by battling. This is his main hobby and timewaster. He is seen training with his pokemon or battling other pokemon.
When in a battle Cain's personality would shift. He would try in any way to win. This would mean he would start shouting and getting riled up. This usually works since he trains with his pokemon a lot. A few times however he will lose. When this happens Cain will do anything to request a rematch. He hates losing more then anything at all.
Pokemon: Crockanaw (male)

Alrighty, here is the teacher profile again Saki-chan
~Name: Merjay Yerhace (Jay)
~Class: Mythology and Pokemon Coordination
- Height: 5 feet 10 inches
- Weight: 145 lbs.
- Hair: Almost always wet, his jet black hair is kept spiked.
- Eyes: Dark brown with a few flecks of indigo
Jay prefers to hold himself in a confident manner, and looks at who ever he is talking to straight in the eye. Jay is almost always found with his spiky, jet black hair, wet as if he had just showered. Stray stands of hair fall over his face in long silky strands, slightly obscuring his emerald green eyes. A few flecks of indigo are splashed about in his eye, almost like a work of art. Below his eyes is his smooth, suntanned face and average sized neck. His chest is partially built up, evidence of the long hours he used to spend working out. Semi built up arms give way to average length fingers, and always neatly trimmed finer nails. He has relatively average legs, and surprisingly small feet for his age, a size 7.
Jay’s usual attire consists of semi baggy snow camouflage pants that seem to always stay away from his legs, as if they were a different magnetism. Scuffed red and black running shoes are always found, usually untied, on his small feet. He wears a Black T-shirt that advertises the name of his favorite TV show, Battlestar Galactica. Last, a hooded red, sleeveless jacket is always clad to him, never zipped up. Jay prefers to dress in his own style, instead of what’s in.
~Personality: Whatever happened in Jay’s past, it doesn’t show now. Jay is almost always making jokes, chatting with students, or flirting with cute girls. He typically has a bright outlook on life, and enjoys finer things such as Lattes and Scuba Diving. He always speaks in a sturdy voice that never falters, and never cowers from an opponent. Jay’s one true fault is that he has zero to no patience. He will burst at any little thing, unless he can help it. Over the years he has taken courses to help with it, but they have done no help. Jay also likes to laugh, and have a good time, but he knows when it’s time to buckle down and get to work. His confidence is most likely from his past as a Pokemon Coordinator, seeing as how he won the title of Master Coordinator twice, he has no problem being in front of people.
+ Going to the beach
+ Watching Battlestar Galactica
+ Playing Video Games
+ Working Out
+ Cute Girls
+ Apple Juice
- Most vegetables
- Being told what to do
- Waking up
- Muscles atrophying
-Floatzel- Male: Floatzel was Jay’s first Pokemon. Jay’s father worked at the docks at Paficlog town, and one day Jay had gone with him to work. After a long days work, Jay’s father took him out in a boat. While out on the waves, Jay fell overboard and began to sink down to the ocean floor, and wouldn’t be here if a feisty young Buizel hadn’t helped him up. Ever since Jay has felt a special bond with his first Pokemon, and is eternally grateful.
-Ambipom- Female: Ambipom was Jay’s second Pokemon. One day after work his father brought home a Pokemon egg and gave it to Jay. Jay spent countless hours tending to it, and one day it hatched into a subdued Aipom.
-Typhlosion- Female: Jay’s official starter Pokemon. Even though Jay had two Pokemon by the time he started his journey, his parents insisted that he take along a starter Pokemon as well. The minute that Jay set eyes on the insubordinate young Cyndaquil, he knew it was the one. Today Typhlosion still doesn’t like to obey orders, but feels a deep loyalty to Jay.
-Pachirisu- Male: Jay had no intention of capturing Pachirisu when he took it in after it was caught in a terrible forest fire. When it was time to let Pachirisu go, Jay couldn’t find it in his heart to send back out into the wild.
-Garchomp- Male: Jay’s first encounter with Garchomp was… less then comfortable. His friends had dared him to poke a young Gible, and in doing so he secretly tied their destiny together, even though Jay came out of it with a sprained ankle and countless bruises.
-Glaceon- Female: Glaceon is Jay’s newest Pokemon, just recently evolved. Jay was visiting Sinnoh on break one day, when a stray Eevee followed him everywhere. Finally, after about 3 days, Jay took the hint and captured the young Eevee. It evolved soon after.

Coould ya reserve me a spot? I'll put up a sign up after i get some sleep.
April 3rd, 2007, 08:49 AM
Name: Genji Saotome
Appearance: Genji has short blonde hair, but has a long bang that perpetually covers his left eye. He has fair skin as well as blue eyes. He has an indifferent expression on his face most of the time. He hairs a black shirt with a heart gram on it most of the time. He has skin tight jeans and white converse sneakers(Yes people he’s an “emo” kid). He has a tattoo of Rayquaza on his right arm and is kind of muscular. He wears a necklace with a golden heart locket that can’t be opened all the time as well as a biker studded leather arm band.
Personality: Genji is incredibly indifferent most of the time. In terms of his pokemon he will always care, but in terms of everything else he could careless. Despite this, he is an excellent strategist with an IQ of over 300. He is incredibly lazy a large portion of the time and can be some what useless in situations even if he knows exactly what to do. He doesn’t ever care unless it benefits him or his pokemon.
Gary was Genji's first pokemon. As a Squirtle, both of them bonded and have a similar personality. With his lazy demeanor and intellect he is closet to Genji. He chooses to play chess or Go over battling. Even though he is strong, he chooses to help direct the other pokemon in battle over Battle himself.
Kaze was caught as a Sneasel that Genji found as him and Gary began their journey in Kanto. Kaze was attacked by some Fearow and was badly injured. Genji, though thought it was troublesome, nursed him abck to help and Kaze refused to leave them alone. Kaze can be compared to a hyper toddler and loves to be active(much to the dismay of Genji). He is very strong and very agile.
Aiden was captured by accident. Aiden had stolen some food from Genji and his two pokemon and they chased Aiden for two days to get it back. Genji threw a pokeball without hesitation (very out of charecter) anhd caught it. Aiden is exactly liek Kaze and the two of them are playmates. Aiden is kind of obbessed with contests and hopes one day Genji will enter him in one...
Kaozumi was caught as a Gengar to prove he could capture a stage 2. His sister, Jenny, teased him about his pokemon when he was passing through Olivine to visit her. He looked around the city and saw a wild already injured Gengar. He had Kaze attack it with a small Shadow Ball to knock it out and took it to the Pokemon center. Kaozumi isn't exactly as strong as moist Gengar and, unlike any ghost pokemon, can be attacked by type oif attack. He is mildly cowardly and often hiudes behind Gary.
Phil was captured by Genji, Gary, Aiden and Kaze in Olivine. On their same stay at his sister Jenny's, Genji captured a Prinlup. He found it as a Piplup all alone and sad and Aiden, Kaze, and Gary palyed with it. They started to paly fight and it evolved. It wanted to join the team so it wasn't a normal captured but a capture is stilla capture. Phil is alot like Gary int he sense of intellect. He also is the voice of reason within the team.

Would you mind reserving me a spot? This rp looks interesting, but I don't have time to type up a profile at the moment. (I should, however, be able to type one up sometime tonight.)
I'd really appreciate it. :3
Name: Hanako "Hana" Oshiro
Description: Overall, Hanako is your typical 'girl next-door' when it comes to appearance. Her features are all fairly average, and yet, there is a certain charm to her that is hard to overlook. Her face is round, her eyes dark and almond-shaped, and her lips small and pouty. She is almost always seen with a smile on her face, and always seems to have a bounce in her step, making her one of those people that you want to hate, yet can't really bring yourself to.(Not that there aren't exceptions.) Her hair is long, straight, jet-black, and is typically held in either a high ponytail or a low, messy bun, depending on what her mood is.
Being a girl who holds her appearance as a very high priority, her attire is very feminine: It is hardly uncommon to see her in loose, flowing skirts or anything of that nature. In fact, it's very rare to see her in anything else.
Personality: Rather befitting to her appearance, Hanako's personality is also very typical of the 'girl next-door' stereotype. Overall, she is very mature for her age, and very kind as well: She is almost never seen without a smile on her face, and always wants to see others happy. She is always willing to help others and is very loyal to her friends, making quite well-liked overall. And, although she tries to be humble and will tell you otherwise, she is very passionate and driven in her goals(Which include becoming a renowned Pokemon breeder, above all else.), being one to always try her best and to always try to keep positive, no matter how bleak a situation may be.
That being said, she is not without her flaws: Although she is generally very patient with her family and friends, she possesses a ferocious temper and always feels that she is right. Due to this, she doesn't take critiques very well and is known to get very angry when someone points out that she is wrong, and will sometimes go out of her way to prove herself. She also has an overwhelming desire to keep everyone's good side, which, while on it's own wouldn't be a bad thing, turns quite negative since the desire can be so intense that she is willing to sacrifice her own happiness for someone else, and willing to do things that could potentially harm her or get her into trouble. To add on to that, her optimism, which would also be a positive trait on it's own, is flawed in that Hanako tends to be too idealistic, thinking that everything can and will be as it should be, when that is clearly not always the case.
Brief Summary: Despite constant bickering between the two, Steven, being Hanako's first Pokemon, deeply cares for his trainer. Being around Hanaki almost his entire life, he feels very obligated towards his trainer, and takes battling for her very seriously. Often almost too seriously, in fact: Even when outside of battle, although he typically means well, he can be downright overprotective of her at times and will challenge anyone and anything he sees as a possible threat. (Which, due to his skeptic and abrasive nature, seems to be just about everything, much to his trainer's dismay.) Since he tends to be very rash, this is often leads to embarrassment on his part. He isn't a complete oaf, however, as he does have his good qualities: He can be very sharp-witted, passionate and, with his pessimistic nature, is often able to see things for what they are: Something his trainer often cannot. He is currently the strongest member of Hanako's team, although he wants to be a more offensive battler while his genetics seem to suggest he should be otherwise.
Brief Summary: The first Pokemon that Hanako ever caught in the wild, Stephanie(Or Stephan, as he prefers to be called.) could be described as the quiet one of the group. Always seeming a bit distant, is constantly thinking and observing the things around him, but rarely gets involved with anything unless persuaded to do so by his trainer. (And even then, he tries to have has little involvement as possible.) Despite his constant denial of it, he is also very arrogant(Without much reason to be, either, considering that he is currently the weakest member of Hanako's team.), which, along with his constantly aloof attitude, makes him rather disliked amongst those that run into him. (Steven in particular wasn't too fond of him at first, though it seems that through their time together, they have formed some kind of respect for each other.)
Due to this, he is extremely difficult to anger, causing even more frustration to those who dislike him, as he won't bother to return any possible challenges or threats. That being said, all of his restraint and nonchalant attitude goes out the window when it comes to two things: The questioning of masculinity, and those he deems as 'fools'. Perhaps the most notable of these 'fools' is Charlie, who conveniently combines the two things he loathes in such a way that makes him practically explode in frustration. Once in a fight with Charlie, he is nearly impossible to calm down unless the two are separated, much to the chagrin of Hanako, who originally intended to breed the two.
Species: Gengar(Is a 'low-level' and has only recently been captured, so don't worry about it being over-powered. Though I can change it if you really want.)
The newest member of Hanako's team, Charlie is the object of much disdain amongst anyone she runs into, and with good reason: She has a 'magnificent' and 'wonderful' talent for finding out how to push peoples(And Pokemon)'s buttons. You've got something that drives you off the edge? Chances are, Charlie will find out about it, and exploit it for all it's worth. She finds making others angry incredibly enjoyable, and could easily be described as a sadist, and as an added bonus, she holds humans in extremely low regard, often describing them as things such 'evolution gone wrong' or 'bigot Mankey wannabes', to name a few.
Needless to say, she's not very easy to get along with: Just about everyone who knows her has some reason or other to hate her, something she actually takes pride in. Seeing how Hanako originally intended to keep Charlie for breeding purposes, this is quite inconvenient, to say the least. In fact, it has become so inconvenient that Hanako has recently been debating with herself whether or not to release the Ghost Pokemon, and although the trainer hasn't specifically said anything about it, Charlie has been sensing that something is wrong, 'causing more tension between the two than usual.
I hope this is alright. :/

I'd like to reserve a spot in this, if that's alright. I'm working on my character sheet right now, and I can have it done after dinner. Hopefully it's not too late to sign up?
April 4th, 2007, 01:48 AM
I'd just like to ask before you review my sign-up; what is the age limit for being a student? My character is seventeen, since I'm the most familiar with that age, but wasn't sure how old the senior students of the academy were.
Age: Seventeen (17)
Appearance: Meiling’s main attire involves a long ceremonial dress, decorated with detailed patterns across the front, sides and back of the garment. The dress opens from the neckline, extending across both arms and reaches further down covering her torso and legs. The dress parts across the front of her torso before being tied together by a supporting cummerbund across the waist. The dress then continues down and over her legs before completely covering her feet.
Each sleeve of the robe is extended across both arms and reach just short of her fingertips. The hemline of each arm is layered against the sleeves of her inner dress and comes just short of each hand’s palm. The inner dress itself provides a thin undercoat for cushioning against the over dress and for general support.
Thin floral patterns decorate the ends of the dress’s hemlines and sleeves, and are stitched directly into the material. The main body of the dress is of a faded maroon colour, while its floral patterns are stitched using thin white thread.
Underneath her dress’s waist, Meiling also sports a pair of tight knee-long pants that cover her groin and upper thighs. The pants are also of a white colour, matching her inner dress top.
Furthermore, Meiling often adorns small slip-on shoes that reach just above her ankle bone. These are often hidden from view underneath of her initial cover dresses and undergarments.
She also sports two metal bangles on each arm and has made the point of never removing them. Each bangle spans 8.5 centimetres wide and are gold in colour.
Personality: Meiling, during her childhood, began as a very obedient and kind loving person. She would smile and laugh and play without care. Her bright and innocent mood brought a calm, gentle and stimulating atmosphere that would affect those around her, wherever she went. She cared deeply for her family and was also very friendly to those who were unrelated. Her innocent, caring and happy nature was what inspired her family to make the most of their days and nights together.
As she begun her education in Argente Academy, her personality had also begun to develop. She retained her innocence and was often very happy at school, but after attending the institution for several years, she had also begun to develop personal traits that were not as inspiring. As she continued her education, her self-esteem grew and she became much more confident. She also adopted a stubborn attitude when it came to discussions and arguments, and would often get into confrontations with those who opposed her point of view. During her time at school, Meiling also developed a constant and unnecessary application of sarcasm, which she often employed in obvious situations. However, despite her rather brash and sometimes uncivilised behaviour, Meiling still held a very kind loving and happy attitude underneath all of the fluff. Her developing personality was strongly influenced by the superiority complex that many of her friends had adopted during their earlier years in school.
Dragonair (Female): Being Meiling's very first Pokemon, Dragonair is her strongest and most reliable partner in her party. Evolving from her pre-evolution, Dratini, Dragonair has become much more domineering in her relationship with her trainer, to the extent of criticising her partner and often disobeying commands. Head strong and stubborn, Dragonair is often caught up in confrontations and arguments, involving the challenging of her personal opinions. However, despite her several shortcomings and less than inspiring personality, Dragonair has proven to her trainer that she is capable of looking after herself when the situation arises. She is also quite formidable in battle, but will often become distracted, in favour of proving her point when challenged.
Clamperl (Male): Clamperl is Meiling's second Pokemon, and much like Dragonair, is often unreliable in battle in relation to his general attitude. Much unlike Dragonair however, Clamperl is very laid back and tends to waver off any insults or challenges that are presented to him, regardless of how simple or complex they may be. He also often states that he does not enjoy wasting time in terms of exerting energy during battles or in helping the group when needed. He is very self-centred and many of his actions, or lack of actions, are made with the intent of only assiting himself. His battling ability however, when triggered, can become extremely unpredictable and in some cases, dangerous to his opponents, himself, and even his trainer, Meiling. This is mainly due to his lack of control in initiating attacks, as his main strength is in utilising defensive techniques.

Okay! I'm finished, and the forums are back up, so I'll post this now!
Name: Kat Tachikawa
Personality: Kat is a bubbly young girl. She loves everyone and everything, and, while some may find this annoying, for most it is a breath of fresh air. She has many friends and is very popular. Kat knows how to cheer people up, and rarely ever has a frown on her face. However, occasionally something so extreme will happen, and it takes her quite a while to recover from these things.
Meowth (#52): Meowth is a rather carefree Pokemon. He’s very calm, and would much rather sunbathe than participate in a battle any day. Despite this, he is very loyal to Kat and always obeys her when it comes time to fight. Meowth is Kat’s original Pokemon, and he’s never in his PokeBall, always preferring his owner’s bony shoulder to a confined space.
Geodude (#74): The polar opposite of Meowth, Geodude enjoys a good scuffle. He’s always the first out of his PokeBall come battle time, and he’s a vicious fighter to the end. Geodude is also very particular about things - he must have his way, and it must be perfect, or he is unable to function. Though small for his age, he’s quite heavy, even for a Geodude. Kat is unable to lift him an inch, so he must settle for the small PokeBall he lives in.
Gastly (#92): Gastly, like others of his kind, is very mischevious. He is perhaps the most protective of Kat, and utilizes the pointy teeth, which would otherwise be used for show. He was given to Kat as a present, and thus, feels very close to her, knowing not of the wild, or of any other master. He almost always gets his way when he wants it, especially since he will use force when necessary. His cruel nature aside, he likes his teammates, and works well with either of them if it comes time for a 2-on-2. Gastly is like a child, and detests change, so no one is quite sure how he would react if Kat got another Pokemon.

Got room for one more? This guy was my first serious Pokemon RP character, by the by.
Name: Mark Elusion
Appearance: Mark isn't too tall, but he sure isn't short for his age either. His hair is a light blondish color, and reaches to his shoulder blades in the back. It is constantly unkempt, hence his "borrowing" of the popular "baseball cap" fashion statement worn by some of the top trainers in Kanto. His happens to be a plain, ordinary red, without any design. Mark's eyes are a bright blue, but they're constantly hidden behind the coke-bottle glasses he wears. His face is not without blemish, since he has a slight amount of acne covering his face. Mark wears a bright red T-Shirt on most days, again without design, though he occasionally substitutes a long-sleeved shirt or adds a jacket as the weather requires. He constantly wears the same blue jeans with the same tear at the base of one knee and grass stain embedded in the other no matter how many people tell him to change them.
Personality: Where to begin with Mark? To start, it might be a good idea to point out that Mark is a self-described "hot-blooded intellectual", though his friends have taken to playfully describing him as a "hot-headed nerd". He's definitely a scholar, and is far and away one of the more studious students at the academy, though his common sense is sometimes lacking and his survival skills are horrible. Mark is a stereotypic nerd in most respects, and his chosen area of, well, nerdiness, happens to be Pokemon battling. Mark is often seen bragging about his discoveries of how techniques affect each other, and has stated multiple times that well-applied attacks and a cool head are the key to winning in battle. Since he holds this belief, it is quite ironic that Mark is, in fact, a hothead, flying into a temper or challenging another student, or even a teacher, to battle regardless of their position or the slightness of their offense. He is metaphorically and literally short-sighted, rarely taking the time to see both sides of the issue.
Info: Insanity was Mark's starter, so she knows him best. She's a bit of a flirt, and she often attacks opponents after softening them up with attract. She also shares Mark's temper, but often he's the target- she gets annoyed with his constant bickering. Her favorite food is onigiri.
Info: Mark's second Pokemon, Boss is an agressive, tough-guy Pokemon. His style of battling is first firing a wave of various powders at the opponent, then crashing into them with a hard-nosed tackle or other physical strike. Unlike most Butterfree, Boss has retained the use of the attack string shot, which he often uses in order to coat Mark's glasses. Indeed, that was the very reason he kept it.
Info: Mark's latest Pokemon, and a gift from his scientist father, a worker at Silph, who obtained the Pokemon as a present from a worker in Cinnabar that he helped repair the equipment of. Nautilus isn't often disturbed, and usually comes into battle sleeping. More often then not, however, when he wakes up he'll blast his way into battle with powerful water attacks and subtle stat-raising and lowering moves.

Name: Zensou “Tony” Toniyama (Surname First, goes by his nickname of Tony)

His hair is jet-black and is tied tight upwards into a short ponytail, with a longer one going down his neck to hang in front of his chest. He has a white visor that covers his face that has a black symbol resembling a pokeball. He has a waist backpack on that has eight parts, two in front, back, and two on each side. He keeps extra pokeballs for capturing in his two right pouches, berries in the right-back pouch, his badge case in the left-back pouch. He keeps his TMs and HMs in the left pouches. The undershirt is short sleeved and the sleeves poke out of the cut-off sleeves of his overshirt, and he has black gloves with the fingertips cut off.

He is a nice person, and cares for his pokemon. He's always happy after winning a battle though, and he always enjoys other’s company. Tony likes to train his pokemon sometimes, and takes a defeat as a message for him to train his pokemon more so he can defeat the trainer who beat him. He is a sort of a philosopher, and also believing in moral nihilism. Even though he doesn't believe in right or wrong, he can generally tell if something is evil, and normally tends to stop it if he can.

OOC: Well this looks amusing. I'd like to try my hand =)
Kinda rushed and bareboned, since it's late and I'm tired. I might spruce it up a bit when I wake up =/
Name: Francisco Augustine Delahoyan Nikolaisenheimer III
Appearance: Francisco is...oddly dressed. He has light brown hair, styled in a mullet formation. His eyes, slow moving, shine a bright green. His left eye, due to a strange medical condition, is permanently stuck looking to the left. This leads to a very awkward, unchangeable facial expression. Fransisco isn't very popular because of it. His body is clad in a green t-shirt, and large blue suspenders. He also wears dark brown, well-shined shoes, and thick yellow gloves around his hands.
Personality: Fransisco has always been a bit slow. Slow to move, slow to learn, slow to think. He's generally a friendly person, but his slow nature makes him something of an annoyance to the "in" crowd, and not many people bother talking to him consistently. Those who do sometimes wish they didn't. He has an immense obsession with cute and fuzzy objects, and this may be why his pokemon are always of the cute and fuzzy, and sometimes useless, variety. For reasons unknown, he insists that his Clefairy is actually a Charmander in disguise.
April 5th, 2007, 08:42 PM
Name: Stan Berglar
Appearance: Stan is a tall, big boy who is about 6 Feet of just pure fearsomeness, having a chubby shaped body, unshaved face and brown eyes that are always gleaming with hate. With this, he always carries a grin that only someone so full of their self would hold. He wears a black leather jacket that looks like it had better days, ripped and faded. Underneath this, he wears a green t-shirt with darker green lines going across it horizontally. With this he wears an old brown belt with torn old brown pants and harsh brown construction boots.
Personality: Stan is mean and unpopular in school. He tends to display violent tendencies, always picking fights at school and forcing those to make Pokemon Battles. It is by this that he is portrayed as a bully as he picks on everyone for no reason. In reality, he knows what he is doing is wrong and that's why he acts this way. Childish, mean, and rude, he will use dirty tricks or any other method to win in a fight; however, he is a force to be reckoned with. Sarcastic and crude, it's hard to really be friends with him, as a matter of fact; he wouldn't care if he makes none. A true jerk as some would say.
History: Stan is a super senior, others say he is a drop-out. In either case, he is a bad egg, and like most bad eggs he doesn't care about school or being nice for that matter. Most of the teachers don't like him and that goes for the students as well and who could blame them? He's the school's bully and a mean one at that picking on poor kids, the shame. Don't get Stan wrong though, he used to be a nice kid. A good Kid. A nice and quiet kid that used to like school, no, who am I kidding? He just has a miserable life and wants to share it with everyone else who attends at his school, isn't that sweet? Sharing is one of the best virtues a person could have and Stan expresses it dearly. Though he is a tough, mean kid, and though this may be extremely far-fetched, Stan does day dream about being a ballet dancer, didn't I tell you it was going to be far-fetched?
Personality: Mean, rude and likes to bully just like his owner.
Bio: Don is Stan's first Pokemon obtained as a small Gible. It is also Stan's favorite Pokemon since he thinks he is very cool looking. The two share a bond of friendship and love to pick on the weak.
Personality: Conan is very simple and well, is overroll very stupid. It just goes along with whatever Don and Stan does and forgets commands very easily. Though it is very powerful and probably Stan's most strongest Pokemon it, unfortunately for Stan, has no brains behind it making it just a brute force in general.
Bio: Stan caught it at the Safari Zone in Fuchia City using Don (The big cheater!). Conan, at the time, was eating some grass and had no idea what was going on and was captured soon after. Later on, he was named "Conan" as in "Conan the Destroyer" which is Stan's favorite movie.

Moves: Poison sting. double kick, horn attack, Counter
History: Nidoran was Kenta's first catch. He caught it while running to the registrastions for the academy.

okay, since someoneis being lazy about signing up, i'll start the roleplay now. anyway wooper14 feel free to join but i can't make any garuntees about the gym leading class, it's up to Robert.
Tammy yawned as she sat up in her bed, brushing her bleached blonde hair out of her eyes, the short curls glowing agianst the morning sunlight. she blinked her wide deep brown eyes and yawned expansvely while reaching over her head. she blinked several more times, scratching one bleached curl just above her ear, wondering what was wrong as she looked over at the clock. "AAAAAAH! I'm LATE!" she exclaimed with a blood-curdeling screech and shot off to get dressed in time for her first class.
Ms. Taylor sat calmly at her desk, going through her papers. She looked at the clock and sighed lightly, looking at her class which was only partially full. She didn't bother scolding students for being late to her class, but rather kept them longer, and didn't begin until everyone was accounted for. if they were late for other classes though that was up to the teachers of those classes, usually punishment enough...

MIke was in the canteen finishing his breakfest. He had woke up early today because he didn't want to wait in line behind some of the annoying people of the school. Mike doesn't really like stayding in line to begin so he did himself a favor by waking up early.
Mike finish eating his breakfest by sticking a strip of bacon into his month. He chew the strip and looked at his watch. He saw that it was almost time for his first period class but he was in no hurry. If worse comes to worse them Mike would just float over the other students using his Staryu to speed to class. Still Mike had no intention to do so right now.
Mike then got out of his seat and walked out of the canteen. As he enter the hallway he heard a loud scream. Mike smiled and said, "Somebody is going to be late to class." He then kept on walking.

ooc: going on the assumption that everyone is approved, I'll post.
The sun shone bright through the tinted window in Tony's room. The bright rays of the sun woke Tony up and he slowly sat up, yawning before he began looking around. He looked at his clock, which had been continuously beeping for an hour to wake him up."Oh dang, it's time to go already. Guess I got to get ready," Tony said lazily and threw his covers off. He stood up and got dressed, got his pokeballs, and left out the door on his way to class.
Once Tony got to his class he sat down in his desk and instantly put his head down, resting on his chin. 'Hmm, I guess it won't be so bad. Pokemon Training could be valueable if I want to evolve Quilava and Aron,' The teen though as he layed his head down lazily on his desk, waiting for class to begin.
April 8th, 2007, 08:29 PM
"What a drag..." I had thought to myself as I waited in line at the Canteen for breakfast. "I suppose I should have gotten up a bit ealier. Aiden I told you to wake me up." I looked at the purple monkey on my shoulder who was smiling as usual. Gary was at my side arms crossed witht he same annoyed expression I had.
"This is so pointless." I said as the line moved so slowly. I poked a guy standing infornt of me triking him to get out of line. I did it to people until I got to the front. "It's suprisng how the mind works." We got a lunch of waffles and sausage. We sat down and m y pokemon shared ion my breakfast.
"Well, let's get to class." I said finishing upa nd wiping my mouth. We walked out of the canteen and walked down the hall. "I swear if I'm late, I'm leaving this place..."

Leon chuckled quietly to himself as he checked his new dull chrome watch, " Class doesn't start for a little while... I wonder if there are any hot teachers this year..." The survival teacher mused to himself, scratching his chin.
Leon was a particulary new teacher, this being the only real good opening and the only job that involved torture he could find on short notice, this was his own private joke of course. But then again...
Leon tried to think how he would scare his students on their first day, he had to be crafty and clever, not to mention sinister. Leon sighed and walked into his little abode in the class area, he picked up a canister containing coffee and sipped quietly on it, thinking.
OOC: Posting before Akio's Char would've been in Lunchroom
AJ had woken up early, he was a morning person and he had been first to breakfast. " I wonder if this is real sausage..." He mumbled amused to himself as he poked at the greasy peice of meat. He lost attention with the sausage and moved on to his coffee, he took a big long gulp and licked his lips, it was savory.
AJ threw the sausage away and went into the halls, to get to his first class, he had probally spent WAY to long in the cafeteria, he merley shrugged to himself and walked on.
AJ quickly saw that there was a man in front of him, the man had long brown hair and black pants, white shirt on. He looked maybe 17, maybe. AJ decided to aquaint himself, " Hello, nice morning, isn't it?" He asked the man in a friendly manner.
April 9th, 2007, 03:49 AM
The Argente Academy, 7:00 A.M.
"Sshh! They might hear us!"
"Yes, I know that we aren't supposed to be in here, but that doesn't really matter as long as we don't get caught!"
"I said be quiet! Insanity, can't you calm down long enough for me to explain WHY we're here?"
The small, purple, monkeylike Pokemon nodded, scampering from the floor to her trainer's shoulder. The trainer himself was about thirteen, and apparently had gotten out of bed without bothering to brush his hair, as evidenced by the frizzy bits visible underneath his hat. Both he and the Pokemon were doing their best to keep quiet at this point, as they were attempting to hide behind a large vending machine in the teacher's lounge.
"You know Mr. Valentine, the guy who teaches survival class?" Mark asked, stroking Insanity's fur absentmindedly, "They say that he comes here every morning at three minutes after seven exactly and drinks an entire pot of coffee. I want to catch it on film and run a photo in the school paper." he explained, pointing to the camera attached to his belt next to his other two Pokeballs.
"Aipom, Ai-pom?" Insanity asked, tilting her head to the side.
"No, we won't get in trouble- provided you keep quiet!" Mark hissed.
"Did you say something young man?"
Mark twirled around to face an old man, probably a janitor, carrying a large broom. "Come out here son, you have some explaining to-" the man began, right before falling backward in surprise as Mark vaulted over his head and raced out the door. "Damned reporters!" he muttered.
Same location, breakfast.
Mark groaned as he collapsed into a chair in the canteen. "Geez, what a day," he complained, "Chased by janitors, sneaking into lounges for nothing, and for what? A picture of some old guy's face that I took by accident!" He pulled the picture in question from the front of his camera, which had been used to develop it, and scanned it. It was a lovely close-up of the decrepit janitor screaming at the top of his lungs. His mouth was wide open, revealing a very rotten set of teeth. Mark rolled his eyes, and placed the photo in his back pocket. He turned to finish breakfast- and the bell rang!
Cursing under his breath, Mark shoved a piece of toast into his mouth before grabbing his backpack and scrambling for the hallway. He could make it, he wouldn't be as punctual as usual, that was all. He flew through the hallway, papers flying unnoticed from his backpack, and was halfway to the door when the bell rang again. "NOOOOOO!" he screamed, leaping for the door. Fortunately for Mark, the eight to ten years he had spent fighting everyone who came anywhere close to insulting him had increased his muscle mass dramatically. Unfortunately, his all-or-nothing leap was a bit too much, and he hurtled into the door without any control over his direction, hammering it open. "Gah!" he yelled, collapsing onto the floor, his shoulder aching, to the laughter of much of the class.
April 9th, 2007, 11:09 AM
Sunlight entered forcefully through the window of the blonde, dancing across the porcelain skin of her cheeks. Her face wrinkled into a look of disapproval before her beautiful blue eyes fluttered open. Soft, downy fur bristled against her face as the Meowth next to her stretched, then returned to a relaxed position.
The girl smiled and scratched under the Pokemon's chin, prompting him to yawn. Upon seeing the Meowth yawn, Kat yawned as well. She swung her legs around, placing her feet on the cold, hard floor. A chill ran up her spine. She stood and stumbled awkwardly towards the bathroom, her pajama pants dragging on the hardwood floor.
Smearing a blob of greenish toothpaste, she began her morning routine; first the teeth, then the face, then the clothes, hair, and makeup. It hadn't failed her yet. Straightening her otherwise wavy hair, she donned the bandanna, the finishing touch to her spunky outfit. By this time, her feline companion had finished waking up, and was sitting patiently on the bed.
"Ha, c'mon, Meowth. My shoulder's ready." With the approval of his trainer, Meowth jumped onto the blonde's bony shoulder, claws digging in lightly to keep his balance. Kat slipped her key into her side bag after locking the door, and headed down to breakfast.
Selecting a healthy portion of fruit for herself, she threw in a small bit of meat for Meowth. Every so often, she'd give him a little treat, though it wasn't good for him. She couldn't help it, he had been a loyal companion. Plus, it couldn't hurt--she used him in battle enough that he worked it off, and then some. Kat sat at a nearby table, nibbling at a slice of apple while Meowth finished his bacon. When both had finished their breakfast, she loaded her tray onto the tray return and headed down the hall.
"What do you think, Meowth? Ready for some Pokemon Training?" The cat let out a small mewl in response. Kat grinned. "Doesn't matter, you know you're staying a Meowth. Neither of us want you to evolve." She pinched Meowth's cheek lightly. He licked her face in return, his sandpaper tongue scraping across her cheek.
When they reached the door, Kat took her seat, Meowth sitting in her lap, as they waited for the lecture to begin.

Meiling sat in her place within the walls of the canteen, preparing her meal before the school day begun. Another student and trainer was the only other occupant of the large room where food and beverages were served. Leaning back against her seat, her long robe scraping against the tiled floor without a sound, the dark-haired brunette peered over to the boy who had just fed himself his last strip of bacon. Seeing him quickly get up, Meiling returned her focus to her meal until she heard the sound of fading footsteps echo behind her.
“I didn’t realise people got up this early,” she muttered, looking back to the entrance from which the boy had left, “well, I guess the juniors don’t get much sleep. That’s a shame…”
Holding the edges of her final piece of toast she had acquired from the canteen line, Meiling prepared to finish her breakfast when another student, a male, entered the cafeteria. Watching the boy, the traditionally dressed teenager soon realised who he was and where she had seen him before.
Valentine…it’s surprising to see him up this early in the morning… she thought casually, her eyes pressed so that her face resembled that of a person who did not attain much sleep. He’s usually late to all of our classes…oh well.
Again, without so much of a hint of hesitation, Meiling ignored her classmate and returned to finishing her now stale morning meal. It had only been minutes from which the boy known as Valentine left the cafeteria, when another took his place. This time, like the first, it was a boy she had not seen before, most likely another freshman or junior grade student. A camera sat tightly against his belt, resting against two compressed Pokeballs. He was definitely a student, but she found no use for him in carrying a camera. He was most probably a member of the school press, and a new one at that, judging by his age and demeanour.
Becoming frustrated in herself for being so easily distracted, Meiling quickly returned to her meal and bit, chew, and swallowed her last piece of toast. Standing in her place, she picked up what was left of her uneaten meal and returned the tray to where the trash was kept. The boy handling the camera still sat in his place a distance away, as she returned to her seat with her morning tea. By this time however, she no longer cared, as her tea was very hot and difficult to handle.
“Well, it’s been a somewhat strange and quiet morning,” she began, as she took her first drink of tea, before looking around the almost deserted cafeteria. “Hmm, I better get to my first lec-”
The sound of a bell tolled in the air, disrupting her mid sentence. Scowling, Meiling placed down her tea and got up to leave. The boy she had seen earlier with the camera, also looked slightly surprised at the sound of the bell, and had just downed a single piece of toast before racing out of the cold morning canteen.
Maybe I should hurry too… she thought, folding her arms so that each was concealed within the other’s sleeve. I might even be in his class this year…

AJ heard the bell and cursed under his breath, he started into a sprint down the hallway, trying hard to reach his first class of the school day "Pokemon Training" As it was called, a halfway decent class. AJ didn't care for the teacher though...
AJ reached the right door, it was a great ordeal to open the door properly, or was AJ thinking way to much into the whole situation, he shrugged to himself as he reached for the knob of the plain wooden door.
He swiftly opened the door and walked into the bland classroom and went to find a seat. He sat next to a boy, looked to be around thirteen or fourteen, he had blond hair hidden in a dull baseball cap and a camera around his waist, AJ raised an eyebrow. " Hey kid, Why do you have that camera. Are you a reporter or something?" AJ asked the kid and then spoke up again, " By the way, I'm AJ Valentine. What's your name?" He asked.
And with Leon...
Leon licked his lips, grabbing any caffene left over and letting it slide down his throat. He needed every last drop to put up with the brats at the academy, he had finally devised his scare for his new students. An Obstacle course. He chuckled evilly to himself as he gazed at the montrosity of obstacles.
Tire walks, monkey bars, jumping a pitfall, going below barbwire, climbing a twenty foot wall and to finish it off.. Jump from the top over another pitfall. He wouldn't make them do it though, just a scare. Unless they pissed him off.

OOC: Whoa I forgot to check this roleplay. Anyway AJ my character is going to sit next to you
Cain ran when the bell sounded. He was halfway through breakfast when he reaslised he was almost late for his first class.
Cain was sprinting down a long hallway. An orange was stuck in his mouth. After dipositing it into a garbage can he continued. After looking on his right. The he saw it. Pokemon training was his first class. His own pokemon was in its pokeball. He didnt have enough time to do anything special with it.
Cain made it to the class in the nick of time. He was surprised how fast me managed to run through the halls. But he noticed that the halls were still somewhat transversable when you are almost late.
Cain sat down next to a seventeen year old Hispanic teen who was already talking to another person on his other side. Cain patiently waited for the class to start hoping it would soon.

OOC: Am I the History teacher? And who plays Robert?
IC: coming soon
April 10th, 2007, 10:57 AM
Mark stared at the seventeen year old who was talking to him as if he was a monster from another planet. "Yes. As a matter of fact, I am a proffesional reporter. How-do-you-do." he replied with mock seriousness before leaping to his feet and removing the Pokeballs attached to his belt from their resting places. "No I'm not a reporter, idiot! The last thing I need is some smug seventeen year old who thinks he's so cool to come up and patronize me. 'Are you a reporter, kid'? Why, I'll-"
Mark fell to the ground hard, his face stinging, as Insanity swiped her tail across his face, ending his litany of insults. "Jeez, Insanity, do you have to be so touchy?"
The small purple monkey, still frowning, glared at him intensely, before delivering a series of chattering sounds that made the color drain from Mark's face. Without saying another word, Mark covered her mouth and stood up. "If she ever says something like that again," he remarked to no one in particular, "She's going to be washing that mouth of hers out with soap."
Insanity just glared even more intensely, if that was possible, before leaping to Mark's belt and activating her Pokeball, which transformed her into red light before sucking her in. Mark turned back to the teenager. "Sorry my temper got the better of me. My name's Mark, and I'm a photographer for the school paper. I really didn't mean to snap like that- it's just that sometimes I get really mad and boom, I snap! I mean, it isn't like it happens that often, but it gets me into fights all the time, and it's kind of annoying, and I think I'll shut up now." he said, slamming his own mouth closed before he started rambling about something incredibly stupid.
April 10th, 2007, 12:10 PM
I took out my mp3 player and began to have play some music compeltely bored. Aiden took it away and put it in my bag and took out some school books and notebooks. "I can't stand when you---" I kept my mouth shut and jsut sat at my desk as my purple monkey stood on my shoulder.
Aiden began to juggle some of my pens. "I bet you can do about seven in about eight minutes." Suddenly Gary and Kaozumi pupped out of their pokeballs. Kaozumi, my incredibly scared and reserved Gengar hid behind my desk nervously. "Dear Buddha, why did I have to catch the neutoric Gengar..." I thought to myself.

(OOC: Sorry, meant to post this last night, but the server was down or something... Anyway, it's not perfect, but it'll do. )
"Ah, there we go! Picture perfect for school!"
Shooting an approving glance at the mirror before turning on her heel, the cheerful teen headed towards her small dorm room kitchen with the intent to make breakfast. Well, if you could call pouring milk and cereal into a bowl 'making breakfast', anyway. The trainer seemed pleased with herself nonetheless, and, after setting out three other bowls, grabbed three Pokeballs, smiling as she sent out her Pokemon. Today was going to be a good day, she could feel it. She was sure her Pokemon could as well. Until she saw their faces, anyway.
Upon being sent out, it became all-too-clear that they weren't nearly as fond of the morning hours as their trainer was. They all merely seemed to stare blankly at each other, then at their surroundings, before each beginning to eat their food with little to no gusto. Hanako sighed, head hung low as she ate her own food in silence. She didn't know why she had gotten her hopes up: It was like this almost every morning. Why should today be any different?
A small smile re-manifested itself, however as she noticed foreign, yet oddly comfortable calmness of the moment."Wow, I can't believe they're not fighting yet..."
Hanako's smile quickly disappaited as quickly as it had come, and was replaced by a frown when she heard laughter, which was abruptly stopped by a well-aimed glob of milk-sodden Pokefood that had come from Stephanie's direction. The Kirlia looked quite pleased with himself as he sat back down, using a nearby paper towel to wipe off the remains of what he'd been hit with earlier. The Gengar, on the other hand, had a look on her face that was almost murderous in nature, and rather frightening to say the least. How Stephanie managed to remain unphased was beyond Hanako, but it was quite evident from the ever-deepening scowl on Charlie's face that the trainer should intervene before things got any worse.
The look Steven was giving her was more than enough comfirmation of that, as he appeared to be getting increasingly more uncomfortable by the moment, to the point where he was figeting in his seat. Not wanting things to get any messier(Both literally and figureatively.), the trainer stepped in, grabbing two Pokeballs from her belt before standing up and shooting a stern, disapproving glance to the two troublemakers.
"Alright, guys, do I have to call you back, or are you going to get along?"
A cackle on Charlie's behalf and the glare she recieved from Stephanie upon uttering it was more than enough as an answer, and with an audible sigh, Hanako called the two back into their balls. The teen then sat down and rested her face in her hands, clearly exasperated by the whole ordeal. Steven merely gave her an apologetic look, knowing just as well as his trainer that for anything to get any better, this daily routine of sorts would have to change. How, exactly, was beyond both of them, however. The only solution Hanako could think of was getting rid of Charlie, but...
The girl frowned at the thought. No, there had to be a better solution than that. If she couldn't find it, then she wasn't fit to be a trainer. She would find the solution, no matter what it was or how long it took.
Knowing that now was not the time, however, the teen shook herself from her thoughts and stood up from her seat to finish getting ready for school. She frowned briefly as she glanced at the mess from earlier, but then remembered that she had recently taught Steven how to clean up messes around the house. Granted, he wasn't perfect at it, but at least it was better than leaving milk and soggy Pokefood on the floor until she got home.
The teen smiled sweetly at the Lombre as she knelt down and lowered herself to his eye-level.
"Say, Steven, would you mind cleaning up this mess? I'd do it myself, but I'm kind of in a hurry..."
The Pokemon merely grumbled something incoherent in response, but walked away to do as he was told anyway. Hanako was sure to give his head a soft pat before getting her things ready.
Half an hour later, in class
Hanako smiled at nothing in particular as she sat down at a nearby desk, prepared for whatever it was the teacher planned to do. Whenever the teacher got there, anyway. Apparently, he was late to his own class.
The teen mentally rolled her eyes at the thought, but couldn't really say that she minded too much. Afterall, Pokemon Training had to be one of her least favorite subjects. Her relatively poor progress over the years was more than enough proof of that. Of course, she wasn't bothered to much by it: Battling wasn't really her thing anyway.
Which reminded her... unlike herself, Steven did like battling... he would probably want to observe things. Figuring that it was the least she could do for making him clean that morning, the teen grabbed her Pokeball and released the frog-like Pokemon, who was still looking pretty miffed. Hanako let out a small giggle and pat his head.
"Sorry, buddy. I'll make it up to you, I promise."
The Lombre merely grumbled something, but seemed to take note of her promise before sitting on his trainer's lap like a small child. Hanako smirked.
Still waiting for the teacher to show up, Hanako couldn't help but notice two students-a senior and a freshman, it seemed- talking to each other. The freshman, it seemed, had a bit of a temper, which made her a bit nervous... though for the moment, it had seemed that he had calmed down. He didn't seem too bad of a person, actually... but Hanako couldn't help but notice that Steven had tensed up, and decided it would be best to keep somewhat of a distance. At least while her little 'protector' was out of his Pokeball, anyway: She didn't exactly feel like getting into trouble on the first day of school.

'Wow, this class is pretty boring. I bet survival will be a whole lot better,' Tony thought to himself as he took a pokeball from one of his pack's pouches. He pressed the center button and the pokeball expanded, before Tony held it up facing the desk and it popped open. When the white light vanished, there stood a Ralts sitting on top of Tony's desk.
Tony whispered quietly to his Ralts, "Well, even if it is boring here, I still have you. You're always fun." Tony was ignoring all of the people talking in front of him, only paying attention to himself and his Ralts. The teen soon took out another pokeball, doing the same thing he did with the last one. This time there was an Aron that came out.
"I guess this class is OK. I mean, it will help me to evolve you and get you stronger. For now though, you can stay in your pokeball Aron, your time will come eventually," Tony said and held up Aron's pokeball. A red beam of light shot out from the pokeball, and Aron soon vanished along with the light into the pokeball. "Right now, you can stay out Ralts. I'm bored without anyone here, so you can keep me company." Tony said and smiled at his Ralts.

AJ stared at the thirteen year old child, Mark. He seemed to be an interesting one, a little touchy and has a mouthing off type mouth filled to the brim with sarcasm, he would make an interesting student to the teachers allright.
This made AJ smile slightly, a little humorous. And then, the kid was obviously rambling about his anger, but something in it had caught his ear.
" On the newspaper staff? You? Didn't know a freshman could get on the newspaper staff. That's pretty cool." AJ said sleekly to the kid, what he said was true, when he had been a freshman you had to be fourteen or fifteen to qualify for the newspaper staff.
AJ turned around a took a look around, the only ones to really catch his eyes were, some girl with a lombre on her lap. "Big Baby" AJ mumbled smirking. But there was also a boy with a ralts on his table, a boy right next to AJ and a boy with a gengar behind his seat, interesting bunch.

Mike walked into his first period class which was pokemon training. This was one of the classes that MIke perfer to be in since it is more hands on with his pokemon. Mike only has four pokemon and they can't evolve anymore unless by stone but he was saving up money for them. His Staryu needs a water stone while Nido needed a moon stone. Both stones rare and expensive. Still Mike thought that until he can get his hands on some stones that it be better to train his pokemon so they be powerful by the time the evolve.
Mike walked calmly into the classroom and notice a few other students were in there. The professor was already in there about to prepare class. Mike took a seat next to a girl with a meowth that Mike knew at Kat. He found it kind of funny that the girl's name was cat and her pokemon of choice was a cat type pokemon. He just gave her a friendly nod before the professor started talking. Mike was debating on which pokemon to use in today's class.

Cain just noticed other people started to release their pokemon. So Cain decided to do the same. He only had one. It was his Crocanaw.
After releasing the large Crocodile it sat in his lap and started to sleep.
Typical. Well I did wake it up.
Cain started petting the blue crocodile's head. Hoping that class would start soon. Or else this would be a long day
Meanwhile Cain took his watch out of his pocket. He noticed that the teacher was probably late for class since it had already started. Cain looked around trying to see if there was a teacher like figure somewhere in the room.

OOC: Bleh... sorry for the inactiveness, I've got loads of school at the moment
IC: Jay stretched as he walked into his classroom. Even though he didn't have any classes for a few periods, he decided he might get there early and surprise the students for once. He soon regretted the idea as time went by, "How boring..." he muttered to himself as he looked out his window and to the beautiful day outside.”All this fresh air and I decide to come to class early..." he sighed.
Casting a swift glance at the clock, Jay stood up and wrote the class name and his name on the board. "There... now I have that out of the way..." Jay exclaimed to the nearby table.

OOC: not sure what to do here... I'll guess I'll start...
Beep! Beep! Andrew's alarm clock sounded. Andrew read 6:00. It was time to get ready to go start teaching after a summers break. Andrew is the 'History' teacher. Most students don't like his class, but he doesn't either. He immediatly got up and stepped in the shower. He got out quickly, and put on a suit to 'dress up' on the first day of school. Andrew fastened the tie, and went to get his plans for each class. He shoved the already wrinkled plans in his folder, and left for the school. Andrew wanted to be a 'cool' teacher, so he rarely gave homework. He walked into the teacher's lounge, and got a Coke-a-Cola so he could stay awake. The morning bell eventually rang, and Andrew left for his first period of class. He noticed that the students were taking there time to come, so he left the room and went to the 'Gym Leader Training Course' to see what Robert Pryce thought about Andrew being a teacher's aid/tutor.

I hope that I'm not to late...... am I?
Appearance: Dakotz is not quite six fee tall, but you wouldn't know that by looking at him. His very slim figure makes him look almost too lanky and sometimes is very clumsy. Other than that he has a small puff of black hair on his head and brown skin from living on the Orange islands. He wears a white zippered hooded sweatshirt, which is almost always open, and wears a t-shirt with the letters FP printed in bold blue on top of the black shirt. Also he wears a pair of jeans which are slightly baggy to make up for the lack of muscle. His trade mark is that he never will not wear a hooded sweatshirt and jeans, even in the summer. This he did back on the islands and sees no reason to stop now.
Personality: Kinda laid back, and will trick you out of anything if you're not careful. However, he will be there to back you up if needed. That is unless, you need some quick cash, the you're in a bind. Dakotz is almost perpetually broke, since he spends his money on many different things. Before he came to the academy he would make frequent stops to the Pokemart and order a lot of Tm's and such. partially why his Pokemon know such diverse moves.
Linoon(aka Judge)- Double Team, Slash, Shadow ball, Ice beam
Info- Judge was Dakotz's first Pokemon. It a strange twist of events, it was actually Judge who fund Dakotz one night. the little pokemon back then was starving after being brought to the islands by a freighter or some sort of vessel by accident and didn't know what to eat. Dakotz took him i and they became fast friends. also is that fact that Dakotz doesn't actually carry a pokeball for his linoon, since like ashes pikachu, it's hates them.
Squirtle (Kyle)- Bite, Water Pulse, Rapid Spin, Iron Tail
Info- Kyle was Dakotz's third pokemon.they found each other during a quick night swim that he took out in the sea. Dakotz rescued him from a raging Sharpedo with the help of Jolteon and Judge. The odd thing about squirtle is that even though he has been trianng much and should evolve, it refuses to become a Wartortle for some reason or anouther
Jolteon- Quick attack, Thunderbolt, Agility, Shock Wave
Info- there's always an odd man out, and this time it's Jolteon. The only Pokemon not named on the team, the only Pokemon actually caught with a pokeball, and the only Pokemon to be mistreated. Actualy jolteon was caught as an Eevee , but soon afterwordswas n an accident. as with his Linoon, Dakotz let Eevee out of the pokeball at all times, but then ona routine visit to go look at the latest imports inside the pokemart, Dakotz accidentaly knocked over a shelf and a thunderstone flew through the air and hit Eevee directly on the head, cuasing the mutagentic evolution into jolteon very prematurely. That and he was burried under boxes and crates full of antidotes. And this wasn't the only time something bad happened to him. Another time was how he was actually forgotten inside a pokeball and left in Dakotz's bed room when Dakotz left for the academy. it was a four days before they actually noticed the pokemon's absence, and Jolteon had to be transfered via the pc. Which is why jolteon refuses to even go near pokeball's nowdays.
(Tell me if this is too powerful....)

Mark looked at the older student. "Well, the newspaper staff was a bit short this year, and they needed someone with prior photography experience. Hence, my presence on it. I don't really get much choice in what gets written, but occasionally if I bring back a really funny picture..." Mark paused for effect as he reached into his pocket and removed the photo of the screaming janitor "Like this one, they'll run it in the paper anyway, or write a gag story about it, or something."
It was about at that point that Mark leapt to his feet and dodged behind his older classmate. "Crap! He's on to me!" he muttered under his breath, watching the janitor through a window on the classroom door as the old man made his way down the hall, broom at the ready.
"Phew, that was close!" Mark breathed, after what seemed like an eternity, the janitor finished mopping the hall and left.
"Aipom!" agreed Insanity from her perch on Mark's shoulder.
"Wha- when did you get out!" Mark exclaimed, whirling to face his Pokemon.
Insanity simply shrugged.

AJ simply nodded toward Mark, it must've been a thrill for him to get on the paper like that, AJ would've been thrilled at his age as well. AJ then started to get confused as Mark hid behind him and muttered the words that AJ hated when a freshman said them. "Close Call."
AJ sighed deeply and faced the thirteen year old adolescence, attempting to put on his best Cop face, pretty convincing actually. " What did you do? First day and you've already messed up? Come on, thats pathetic!" AJ lectured the younger student, only by about five inches towering over the boy, the boy was obviously hotheaded which probably made things a bit harder. But then again, if AJ remembered correctly. He himself had been the "Class Clown" or " Ultimate Prankster" up to about fourteen and had gotten into trouble a little too much back then, he wasn't a strict crusty though, he still had his moments.
" Anyway, better tell me about it. Better then having a teacher find out, especitly my Uncle... Leon, the guy that acts like he has a bee up his..." AJ was cut short by what sounded like the lesson starting.

Name: Zyph Daichi
Age: 16, turning 17 on May 27th.
Appearance: Zyph is 6'1". He has medium length White hair and light tan skin. He commonly wears a black un-buttoned collared shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, and blue jeans. He wears two wristbands. One of them is black and the other is red. His shoes are black and worn. He has a scar on his back from an incident that will be explained later.
Hometown: Oreburgh city. His parents struck it rich in the coal mining industry, thus they were able to afford to send him all the way south to Kanto to attend the Argente Academy. The tuition wasn't the problem. The cost of transportation to the Kanto region is what costs the big bucks.
Personality: Zyph is typically caring and funny. He likes to joke around, however, he's very honest. Brutally honest. Not the extent of him being rude, but he's calls things as he sees them. He can turn cold and reclusive when terrible things happen. He is very loving toward his Pokemon and treats them like his best friends. When in battle he is very strategic, but he tends to not be very competitive. His favorite subject is Battle Tactics, seconded by Breeding.
-When Zyph was just 7 years old, he was down in his fathers mine shaft playing a game of "explorer." However, by a bizarre and unfortunate turn of events, an earthquake occurred. And old story had told of a Pokemon that brought destruction lurked in the mine, and just before the earthquake, this Pokemon appeared. This scared Zyph so that he hid under a bulldozer. When the earthquake occurred, a massive boulder fell from the roof of the mine and crushed the bulldozer that Zyph was under. However, the Pokemon that had appeared saved Zyph, leaving him with only a gash on his back. This Pokemon was Absol. Since that day, Absol and Zyph were friends, and when Zyph turned 10 and started his journey, Absol was his first Pokemon.
-When Zyph obtained his first Gym badge, his father gave him a Riolu as a gift. Through love and friendship, the Riolu evolved into a Lucario, which he nicknamed Ruka.
-On his family's annual fishing trip to Lake Acuity, Zyph caught a Feebass. He parents urged him to throw it back, stating that it was hideous, but Zyph kept it for a pet. His uncle who lived in Lillycove had sent him a box of assorted Pokeblocks for the trip. While Pokeblocks are meant for Pokemon, Zyph likes to eat them too. The only ones he doesn't like are the blue ones, as they are too dry. So, he experimented by feeding the blue ones to his new "pet" Feebass. Lo' and behold, Feebass evolved shortly after, breaking his tank and causing quite a mess. Zyph has had a Milotic ever since.
-Oreburgh City's Coal Badge
I really hope it isn't too late to join. This sounds like a lot of fun!

OOC: I'm going to assume that it's okay that I joined late. I'm feeling really creative right now, and I also don't want this RP to die. It has an amazing premise.
It had been a long day. First there was the 8 hour boat ride to Vermilion City, then the 3 hour bus ride from Vermillion City to Pewter City, then another 2 hour bus ride from Pewter City to the Argente Academy. Zyph had barely slept since he woke up this morning at 4:30AM. Now his Poketch read 6:38PM. He glanced out the window at the massive white-silver building. The letters AA were embossed on the front. Zyph was a late starter at the academy. He was coming to the school as a 3rd year. His first two years of school had been spent at the Jubilife Trainer’s School. When his parents learned of this “high quality school” in Kanto, however, they signed him up without asking him. Zyph was forced to leave his friends behind.
Zyph was the only one on the bus, next to his Absol. Absol didn’t have a Pokeball, nor did he want one. He was curled up on the seat next to Zyph, sound asleep. If only Zyph was as relaxed as Absol. The bus lurched to a stop at the loading zone in front of the school, and Absol instantly snapped to attention. Zyph stood up, grabbed his bag, and walked off the bus, politely saying thank you to the bus driver and handing him a 3000 tip. The bus driver was amazed that a kid could tip that much, as most people would be, but Zyph came from a rich family, and had grown used to this reaction. Absol bounded off the bus, running up along side Zyph.
Zyph walked through the massive silver and white front gates, which was adorned the letters AA. On the inside and to the right of the entrance was the front desk. He was told in his acceptance letter to hand his admissions ticket to the person at the front desk when he got to the Academy. The lady at the front desk had green curly hair and was wearing a blue business casual blouse and a medium length skirt. She smiled at him at first, but then she noticed Absol. Her smile instantly vanished and was replaced by a look of nervousness. She turned back to Zyph and asked, “C-can I help you?”
“Err… hi,” Zyph said. “I was supposed to give this to you,” he said holding out the admission ticket.
“I see,” said the lady with a slight quiver in her voice. She looked up and down the ticket. “Zyph Daichi, of Oreburgh City. Now tell me, Zyph, which kind of Pokemon did you bring with you, so that I may give you the appropriate dormitory?”
“Well, I have Absol here,” Zyph replied; at this the lady sighed nervously. Zyph pointed to his belt, “And I also have a Lucario and a Milotic.”
"Oh dear, you have a Milotic?”
“Err… yes ma’am.”
“I’m afraid we don’t have any more dorms that can accommodate such a Pokemon. You see, each Pokemon has its own specific needs, something that you’ll learn about here at this academy. A Milotic is a rather large aquatic Pokemon, and it needs a lot of room to swim if you want it to be happy. While you could just keep your Pokemon in its Pokeball, here at the Argente Academy we strive to supply the best conditions for your Pokemon. Your Pokemon will need time to roam around and relax. Unfortunately we gave our last room with a pool to a student with a Gyarados just last week. We have a rec-pool here at the academy, and from time to time situations like yours arise, so we allow you to keep your Pokemon at the rec-pool each night. We have a top notch caretaker here at the academy to make sure that your Milotic will be alright. However, before class each morning you will have to make an extra trip to the pool and pick up your Milotic, and in the evening before you go to bed you will have to drop off your Milotic at the pool. We hope this won’t be too much of an inconvenience.”
“Oh… that’s alright, I guess.”
"If it’s any consolation, there are a few 4th year students who have rooms with pools in them that will be graduating at the end of this year. Next year you will be guaranteed an appropriate room.”
“Well, that’s good to know.”
“Okay,” the lady turned to her PC and started typing something. She then stuck a plastic rectangle into a machine next to the computer. Zyph heard a whirring noise. The plastic rectangle was then spat back out of the machine, this time with a metal chip attached to it. “This is your room key,” the lady said, handing it to him. “You’re in room #48, a boulder room. You’ll find plenty of space for your Absol and Lucario to sleep and roam around in. And here is your schedule,” the lady handed him a piece of paper straight from the printer. Zyph’s first class was “Pokemon Training.”
“Thank you,” Zyph said as he started to walk away.
“Just one more thing I’d like to ask you, Zyph,” the lady at the front desk said before he could get too far. “Why isn’t your Absol in its Pokeball?”
“Oh, well, he doesn’t have one. And he refuses to go into one. Is that a problem?”
“Well, no. Actually, it’s not so rare that Pokemon don’t like their Pokeballs. It’s just… Oh, never mind…. Well, you best be getting to your room. Dinner already started down in the canteen area, so if you get done un-packing in time, there may be some left.”
Zyph glanced down at his Pokètch. 6:57PM. “Well, thank you again,” Zyph said to the lady, and he waved goodbye and walked to the end of the entrance hall, out into the twilight, and over to the dormitory building, his Absol tagging along behind.
When he entered the dorms, he passed a boy with an Aipom on his shoulder and a camera on his belt. The boy appeared to be in a hurry, and he didn’t even notice Zyph or Absol. No one else was around. They must be at dinner, Zyph thought. Zyph and Absol entered the elevator and pushed the button for the fourth floor. The elevator lurched as it started to climb upward. *DING-DONG* The elevator stopped at Zyph’s floor, and Zyph and Absol started looking for room #48. It was quite a ways away. Each room was particularly large, apparently so they cold accommodate the each student’s Pokemon as well. Zyph eventually found his room, and he stuck his key card into the door and opened it. Inside there was a small kitchen, a queen sized bed, and bathroom, a closet, and another door. Zyph curiously opened the door, and saw that there was a large room covered with boulders. Absol immediately climbed on top of the highest one and laid down on it. Zyph couldn’t help but smile.
Zyph was extremely tired. He hadn’t slept in a while, but he still had some things to do before he could even think about sleep. He released Ruka, his Lucario, from her Pokeball. Ruka instantly checked out her surroundings. She was tired as well. None of the boulders in the room looked appealing to her to sleep on, so she karate chopped the one next to her and made it flat. Ruka laid down on the newly flattened rock, gave Zyph a warm nod, and fell asleep. Zyph turned down the lights in the room and closed the door, whispering, “Goodnight,” to his Pokemon.
Zyph wasn’t particularly hungry, so he decided to skip dinner and go to the rec-pool to drop off Milotic. As he was walking in the general direction of the pool (his only clue as to where the pool was was a vague sign in the middle of the dorm commons), he passed the canteen. Being sort of shy, he decided not to peer through the window, let alone go in. He kept on walking until he finally reached the pool area. He walked inside. The brisk smell of water hit his nose. He heard the echo-y chatter of people and Pokemon alike. He saw many types of Pokemon splashing in the pool, along with some of their trainers. He noticed a man in a life-guard tower watching over the whole spectacle. He went over to the man and asked, “Excuse me? Are you the caretaker?”
“Whoa, what are you, some sort of new dude?” the man replied.
“Yes, I am. I was told by the lady at the front desk that I can leave my Pokemon here over night. May I?”
“No problem, bro. What type of Pokemon is it?”
“Whoa! A Milotic? Haven’t seen one of those since my trip to Dewford Town in Hoenn. Gnarly waves they got there, if you know what I’m sayin’. Alright, just release it into that pool over there. I’ll keep watch, and make sure nothing happens to it.”
“Thanks a lot!”
Zyph walked over to an empty pool, about the size of the boulder room in his dorm. He took Milotic’s Pokeball from his belt and released him into the pool. A few other students in the pool area stopped to watch. A few of them had never seen a Milotic before. Was this student new?
Zyph returned to his dorm room where he finished un-packing his clothes. He had a Ragecandybar in his backpack, along with a bottle of water, both of which he ate and drank. Zyph brushed his teeth, stripped down to just his t-shirt and boxers, set his alarm clock to 6:30 AM sharp, and went to sleep, ready for his time at the Argente Academy.

Name: Rouen Strent
Appearance: Rouen has short brown hair, usually styled into small spikes all over his head. He is about 5"7 with light blue eyes and a small nose. Rouen is usually seen in his white t-shirt embroided with a blue pokeball, his baggy blue jeans and his white trainers
Hometown: Rouen Lives in the Johto region, in the town of Redstem. Redstem is a small, peaceful town in between New Bark and Cherrygrove. His dad was an Archaeologist and earned a fair amount from his findings and his museum exhibitions. However, due to the fact fossils won't come to you, Rouen's dad was usually away. So, it was Rouen's mother who waved him goodbye as he left on his journey.
Personality: Rouen is serious when it comes to his education and important topics. However, he likes to joke whenever he can, just to please the people around him. He is a keen swimmer, but he knows when it comes to other sports, he should stick to the pool. Rouen is intelligent and sometimes a little too witty; but overall his kind and relaxed nature see him through.
Poliwag has been with Rouen since the age of three, when Rouen noticed a strange creature near his garden pond, he toddled off to investigate. It was a wild poliwag who began to playfully squirt Rouen with water. Poliwag lived with Rouen until the age of ten. Rouen was supposed to be receiving his pokemon from Professor Elm, but he could not leave Pow behind. Readily Pow jumped into Rouen's pokeball and they set off together. Pow shares Rouen's personality traits, they make the perfect team.
Rouen did stop by Elm's lab on his tenth birthday, it was there he chose a small cyndaquil who was shy but powerful. During their time together, Rush evolved into a Quilava in the midst of an intense gymbattle. Rush is relaxed and quite reserved, but in battle he has amazing energy and spirit.
A very young bird which rouen captured during his journey through Illex Forest. It was late night when the fog settled in and Rouen was completely distraught. he was tired, out of supplies and not far from a mental breakdown wen two red eyes beamed through the darkness a revealed the path. hoot was already perched on his now usual spot on Rouen's shoulder. Hoot is unintentionally funny. He is a happy-go-lucky sort of pokemon with not a in the world- until it comes to battling. Hoot will pour his heart and soul into a pokemon battle and when he is not battling, he is cheering on the sidelines.
Badges- The cascade badge (Rouen met Misty at Cherrygrove city, where she was visiting an old friend.)
Hive badge- Pow took extreme damage in this battle, so it was left for Rush to step in. It was during the final round against Bugsy's scyther that Rush evolved into a Quilava.
Up to speed: After leaving Illex forest, Rouen found himself in the City of Goldenrod. Rouen decided to take on the City's Leader- Whitney. Rouen's pokemon were completely crushed. It was there on the bench outside Goldenrod's gym that Rouen made a decision. he realised that there was so much more to being a trainer than just catching pokemon, training and battling. There was tactics, friendships and knowledge. He needed to learn more to be the best he could be. So he stood up, a lump of excitement in this throat; he would go to the Argente Academy, the elite trainer school, not to far from New Bark town. He remembered his parents' promise to support him in whatever he did. So he phoned his Mother and arranged the deatails. He took the train from Goldenrod to Cherrygrove and walked home.
This is where we begin.....
IC: "Was your Breakfast okay honey?" Wendy Strent asked her son, a warm smile on her face.
"Yes thanks" replied Rouen, with a tone of gratitude.
"Well, I guess we should get going then?" inquired Rouen's mother. Rouen nodded, he shouldered his bag and stood up. Wendy grabbed her handbag and handed Rouen some lunch, folded neatly in a napkin. Rouen took the food gratefully and placed it carefully in his drawstring bag.
"Have you got everything?" asked Rouen's mother. Rouen took another glance inside his bag,
"Yep, it's all here!" he smiled. Rouen and his mum proceeded to the door of the house. They steeped out into the fresh morning air and Rouen's mother closed the door behind them.
Fifteen minutes of walking later, Rouen and his mother were in New Bark town talking to Professor elm and his aide by a small red lifeboat.
"Argente Academy!" chuckled Elm, "then again, i always knew you had the smarts." Rouen glanced at the ground his cheeks a light red.
"Are we going to do this or not?" snapped the aide "I have a mountain a research i need to get through!" The aide had abandoned his typical labcoat and spectacles for sunglasses, beach shorts and a t-shirt. He did not look too pleased.
"Kidding! Kidding!" professor Elm exclaimed, his side almost splitting with laughter. "You can't get lifeboat to the academy! Rouen's dad is flying him by helicopter!" The aide let out a sarcastic laugh and lurched off back to the lab. It was at he same moment when a great wind swept over the water and a thunderous noise boomed. Suddenly, over the top of the mountains came a huge black helicopter. It whirled down gently and eventually stopped on the edge of the lake. The helicopter had no doors and in the pilot set sat Rouen's Dad. He turned and smiled
"Ready to go?" Rouen nodded, and made his way to the helicopter. "Wendy, Professor Elm." Dirk Strent acknowledged the other two.
"Stay safe honey, you too Dirk. Rouen, are you sure you have everything, your books, bag, lunch and pokemon?" Wendy had a great smile across her face, she was not in the least bit sad. This was not because she wanted Rouen gone, but she was used to being on her own now. She had a tearful goodbye when Rouen's dad used to leave, and she sobbed for hours when Rouen left at the age of ten. But, wendy grew used to the idea of her family never staying in one place, so she never cried, just smiled.
"Check, check, check and check!" said Rouen, glancing at himself and in his bag. "I'm ready!"
"Then go for it dear!" beamed Rouen's mother, "make some new friends, learn some new things and have some fun!" Rouen nodded once again, he was a little too embarrassed to say anything.
"Study hard and feed your mind!" laughed professor Elm, "Good luck to you Rouen."
"Thanks." Rouen said gratefully and he walked round the helicopter and got in. He buckled up and his dad started the blades.
"See you all later!" Dirk shouted, but his voice became drowned out by the helicopters whir. Suddenly, there was lift off, the helicopter rose in circles. Rouen leaned cautiously out of the doorway and waved at his mother and the professor. Soon there were too small to see so he pulled back inside the helicopter and sank into his seat. He turned to his Dad, dirk Strent was a middle aged man of about 6 foot, his hair was fuzzy and brown, and his chin was stubbly. Dirk had brilliant green eyes which Rouen envied.
"So buddy how you been?" asked Rouen's dad in his gruff voice.
"Good thanks. I've got three badges, you know that. But i caught a Hoothoot in Illex forest. I Made it to Goldenrod but Whitney obliterated me. That's when i chose to go to the Academy."
"Hmmm, a Hoothoot?"
"Yeah, his name is Hoot."
"How original!" laughed Rouen's Dad. "But yeah, I heard Whitney has a mighty Miltank, I'm sure you did the best you could."
"Sure did, but I have so much to learn before i can even think of a rematch. Anyways, how have you been?"
"You know me, I'm always doing fine. I have a big project on at the moment. Very interesting. Very Exciting. Not to mention mysterious!" Dirk's eyes were burning with his passion of archeology, they always did when he talked of new projects.
"Sounds awesome! So how come you had time to fly me to the Academy?"
"That's because..." a huge smiled spread from cheek to cheek on dirk's face. "The project is based all around the academy!"
"No way!" laughed Rouen.
"It's all true!" nodded Dirk, "But don't worry, you won't be seeing me too much. You can still have friends." Rouen smiled, his Dad was one of the coolest people he knew. Dirk was the real action man type. Never a dull moment with him around. Yet, his Dad doubted his "coolness" and was quite concerned about Rouen's friends not liking him. Rouen's thoughts were shattered as the helicopter touched down. Rouen stared up at the large iron gates, with AA in curly letters emblazoned across it. Rouen jumped out of the helicopter and shouldered his bag.
"Good luck and have fun!" His smiled as he started the blades once more. Rouen waved as the helicopter spiraled up and flew over the academy into the distance. Rouen couldn't contain himself, he ran, through the gates, across the vast front lawns and into the main building.
Once inside, Rouen looked for the front desk where he had to hand in his admissions ticket. He saw the desk to the right of the entrance and walked hastily over.
"Hello young man!" smiled the receptionist. She had straight green hair, she was wearing a grey pinstriped jacket.
"Hi there!" said Rouen, returning the smile. "I have my admission ticket right here." He slipped a blue piece of paper from his pocket and placed it on the desk.
"Ah yes, Rouen Strent, first year student. What pokemon have you brought with you?"
"I have my Poliwag, Quilava and my Hoothoot." said Rouen, nodding to Hoot who had released himself as usual and was perched on Rouen's right shoulder.
"Hmmm, we have a dorm with a bird house, but the rec-pool is now full too...How about, a dorm with a birdhouse and a big bath- for your poliwag?"
"Yeah! That'll be fine." laughed Rouen. The woman typed into her PC and handed a silver rectangle over the desk.
"Room number #49 A tree room, a nice comfortable grass patch for your Quilava, loads of room for your Hoothoot and of course, the bath for your poliwag."
"My pokemon hate their pokeballs, is it OK to let them roam free?"
"Shouldn't be a problem, just don't let them get too far away from you!" the receptionist winked at Rouen. "Here, i have your new timetable." The woman handed over a piece of warm paper, the ink still fresh. Rouen looked down to see his first class was "Pokemon Training."
"Thankyou Ma'am" smiled Rouen and he left the entrance hall. He crossed another vast lawn to the dorms. It was deserted, no one in sight. Rouen took the elevator to the fourth floor, he walked past many rooms until he saw room #49. He slid the card key into the door and turned the handle.
Inside Rouen's room was a kitchen, bathroom, a closet, queen sized bed and another door. Rouen swung the door open and was gazing into a huge room with a giant tree full of brilliant green leaves growing in the centre. Rouen's stomach grumbled, he glanced at his pokegear and saw that it was 12:16 pm. Wow, must be lunch time! Rouen thought. He decided that he could make new friends quickly if he was social. He remembered his mum's lunch in his bag, he place it in the fridge. He poked his head round the door into the tree room.
"You coming for lunch, Hoot?" he called. Hoot's head, well, his entire body appeared from the lime green foliage and with an excited chirp, Hoot descended onto Rouen's shoulder. Pow jumped from his pokeball and danced around in circles. Rush gave a faint smile and loped over to Rouen.
"Let's go!" cheered Rouen as his stomach growled with anticipation.

OOC: I'm seeing if this post works. Okay, good.
Zyph woke up when he heard the sound of glass breaking. His room was still dark; the clock read 2:13 AM. Zyph knew something was wrong. He turned on the lamp by his bed, went over to the boulder room door and opened it. Inside, there was nothing out of the ordinary, and the light from Zyph’s room illuminated the boulder room just a little bit, causing Absol to wake up. Absol groggily looked at Zyph and growled softly. Zyph gently closed the door, returning the boulder room to darkness. There was nothing wrong with his Pokemon. Zyph walked over to his window, slid it open, and peered out. He could see the entire back of the dormitory building. Down below on the first level, Zyph could tell another window was open, because the curtains of the room were blowing in the light wind. However, around this window was broken shards of glass. There appeared to be no other activity in the area than the swaying of the curtains. While Zyph was a bit worried, he reassured himself by thinking who could possibly break in on the fourth floor? He closed his window, shut off his lamp, and went back to sleep.
*Ehhhgg Ehhhgg Ehhhgg*
The buzzing of Zyph’s alarm clock woke him up. 6:30 AM sharp. His first REAL day at Argente Academy. He went to his bathroom, got undressed, and took a shower. He turned the water to “extra-cold” in order to wake him up faster. He clambered wet, cold, and tired out of the shower and got dressed in his usual clothes. Before he left, his parents insisted that he bring fancy clothes along, but Zyph refused. He didn’t like looking like the stereotypical rich-kid. The only thing he wore that indicated any sort of wealth at all was his Pokètch, which he couldn’t imagine living without. His stomach gurgled. He realized he hadn’t had a solid meal in at least 24 hours, but before he could get down to breakfast, he had to go pick up his Mitotic. *Gurgle* Oh… he could just grab a quick bite to eat, then go get his Mitotic. It’ll still be there.
He opened the door to the boulder room. Ruka was sitting on her boulder, meditating. Absol was also up and walking around. When Zyph opened the door, Absol greeted him with a happy, “Sol!” Ruka opened one eye and looked at Zyph. Zyph reached for his belt and took out Ruka’s Pokeball. Ruka then stood up; ready to be called back, which Zyph proceeded to do. Absol walked out of the room and laid down on Zyph’s bed. Zyph was in the middle of making it, so he had to shoo Absol off. Zyph finished making the bed and grabbed his bag, making sure it had his laptop, school supplies, and potions in it. He then left the room, Absol following him all the way.
We he got down to the ground floor of the dormitory, Zyph decided to take a detour. He was curious about what had happened last night. He exited the building and went around to the back lawn. The window was still shattered, and the curtains were still swaying in the breeze. He motioned to Absol to stay, and Zyph crept closer to the window, watching out for broken glass, and peered in. Inside the room, nothing was out of the ordinary, except the door to the room where the student’s Pokemon slept was broken off its hinges. The bed sheets were rumpled, and the lamp next the bed was knocked over. There was a picture on the wall, of what appeared to be a girl and her Pokemon. The girl was blond and looked to be about 15. In the picture she was standing with a Ninetales, and a Wooper was on her shoulder. There was no sign of anyone in the room, though something defiantly had happened. It’s best not to get involved, Zyph thought, just let the administrators handle it. Zyph slowly walked away from the window. Absol bounded up to him, expectantly. Zyph just shook his head, not knowing what was going on.
If he didn’t hurry, he’d be late, so Zyph broke into a jog toward the canteen. He finally reached the door, and opened it. To his surprise, there were a lot of people in the room. No one seemed to notice him, until that is, his Absol walked in. Everyone looked at Absol, then Zyph, eying them both nervously, but then the students started to resume what they were doing. Zyph quietly walked to the end of the food line. Why did everyone just stare at him? When he got to the food, he loaded his tray with eggs and sausage. He was starving. He found an empty table and sat at it, observing the other students. He knew he’d eventually make friends. He inhaled his food, because he still had to go pick up Milotic. A few students were looking at him, both curiously and nervously. One of them was pointing to his Pokètch, with a look of jealousy. Zyph pretended to not notice, fished his food, put his tray in the collection bin, and walked out with Absol. Again he broke into a jog toward the rec-pool. I hope it isn’t going to be like this every morning.
He was utterly dismayed to find the door to the pool area locked. He knocked on the door and looked inside, but no one was there. He was sitting on the ground outside the door, hoping someone would come along, when he heard the bell ring. Zyph held his head in his hands, saying to Absol “Great, my first day and I’ve already screwed up.” Just then he heard the sound of an electric motor. It was the janitor in his maintenance cart. Zyph flagged him down, and the janitor pulled up to him, asking with a gruffly voice “What do you want?”
“Well,” Zyph replied, “I left my Milotic overnight here at the pool, now there’s no one here, and I can’t get inside.”
“What, no one told you?”
“Told me what?”
“There was a break-in last night. All the Pokemon in the rec-pool were stolen. The caretaker hasn’t been seen since last night. You should have at least gotten a phone call or a note or somethin’.”
“What!? My Milotic is gone!?”
“Whadid I just say, kid. Every Pokemon is gone. I’m sorry, but there’s nothing we can do at the point. The police have been called, but there ain’t no guaranties. Now hop on,” the janitor said pointing towards the bed of his maintenance cart, “you’re late. I can at least give you a ride. But that thing,” he pointed towards Absol, “ has to stay off. I don’t want no accidents.”
“What? Absol? He’s harmless!”
“Ehh… listen, do you want a ride or not?”
“Yes, I do. Sorry Absol, looks like you’ll have to run along side.”
“Don’t he have a Pokeball?”
“No, he doesn’t,” Zyph said as the cart began to drive toward the classroom building. Zyph was extremely upset. What was going on?

Rouen returned to his room, hungry and disappointed. He had reached the canteen, to find a giant queue to be served. He was just about to get his meal when the bell rang. He did not start his lessons until the next morning, but Rouen was a very self conscious person, who never liked to appear a loner.
So Rouen returned back to his room, after a purposely slow walk back to the dorms to soak up the beautiful weather. As Rouen walked over the lush green grass he wished he had some friends to play soccer with, even if he was terrible at the game.
So, Rouen returned to the privacy of his dorm and slunk into a huge armchair in front of a 26" LCD TV. He was too hungry for anything other than sitting down and didn't even bother to turn on the TV. It was then Rouen remembered his mum's lunch in the fridge. Rouen hauled himself up and slouched over to the fridge. Rouen took out his napkin folded lunch and unraveled it. Inside were to kingsize chicken mustard and lettuce sandwiches, along with some salt and vinegar crisps and an apple. There was also a small piece of folded paper, it was a note:
hope you're having a good time at the academy, don't be shy and ask questions if you have them. Make some new friends and study hard!
P.S check your bag!
Rouen smiled and did as the note suggested, in the bottom of his bag was something he had not packed. Pokemon food! He pulled out the tin of orange chunks with Hoots face on and the owl pokemon whizzed around the room in delight. Next was a tin of red flakes for Rush. He bounded over with excitement, gently picked up the tin and bounded off again. Finally there was a huge box of purple knobbly balls for Pow. They were special pokefood specifically for Pow, to keep is skin at right moisture level, without needing water. On the box was the special recipe for making the food. Poliwag bounced over, inhaled the aroma of the pokechow deeply and squealed with delight. Rouen took the recipe and pinned it to the noticeboard in the kitchen.
"Time to eat!" declared Rouen with excitement

"Hold on a moment! I thought I'd seen you before!" Mark growled, his eyes flashing. "You're the one who was connected to the so-called 'tapioca catastrophe' two years ago! I read that articled on you!" Malice was the only way to describe the exact look in Mark's eyes. Pure, unadulterated malice. "I swore that if I got the chance I would.... wait a minute, what am I saying? You've already been punished for that one once..." He mumbled, the fire in his eyes dying out. "Anyway, as I was saying, Mr. Tapioca, you have no room to talk. All I did was sneak into the teacher's lounge and shoot an embarassing photo of the janitor. You on the other hand... well, I'm fairly sure that no one wants to remember what you did. You scarred one of my friends for life, you realize that? He hasn't eaten a bite of tapioca for three years now."
OOC: By the by, I'd just like to mention that right now Mark has no idea what he's talking about. He just remembers something about seeing AJ in the paper, and he's fishing for information, just to see if he can blackmail him. Yeah, Mark's evil like that. XD
Fallen Angel_Messiah Of Black Roses

AJ's eyes flashed at the thought of Tapioca, and it's one hundred and two prank uses, this brought a somewhat evil grin to AJ's light toned face. Of course he had been the grand capor of the Tapioca armageddon, of course he hadn't been grandly punished for the thing in this presteigous academy. His pranks were understated in the newspaper articles as well, thats why he had to pull it. " Good times... Good times" AJ mumbled to himself in a state of awe.
AJ turned to Mark, with that smile on his face " So I scarred your freind for life? I am Good." He said to Mark in a mellow kind of tone.
" But, you still shouldn't walk the road I did, it's immature squirt." AJ said to the young reporter as he used a toothpick to clean out his teeth. " Well good luck to you. Squirt"

ooc: apparently saki-chan is not coming back. that means that pokemon training class has no teacher, so we need a permanent sub to teach the class. as we probably wont find one immediately, we should skip the class today, simply doing a time skip of sorts and going to the next class, working on finding a new teacher for pokemon training. thats what i think should be done so that we can actually continue this thing.
May 13th, 2007, 02:57 AM
OoC: Well, I carry on my RP until i reach my first class, hopefully something will have been decided then.
IC: Rouen and his pokemon had almost finished their lunch, when there was a knock at the door. He took a final bite of his apple before casually tossing into the bin. Rouen yelled "coming!" and opened the door. There was a man there, in his twenties, holding two suitcases.
"Rouen Strent?" the young man asked
"Your belongings have arrived, here you go!" Rouen stepped out of the doorway to allow the man to come in and place the suitcases on Rouen's carpet.
"Thanks." said Rouen with his usual tone of gratitude.
"No problem, see you around!" said the man, leaving the room and closing the door behind him. Rouen immediately unzipped both suitcases and quickly realised that one was for him and the other was for his pokemon. His suitcase contained all his clothes and some other stuff including stationery, his laptop and a games console. In the other suitcase was lots of pokefood, along with each pokemon's most treasured object. For Hoot there was a twig which he liked to carry in his mouth, for Rush there was a flame patterned ball which had a small bell inside. Rush loved playing with this ball and when he did he became as docile as a clefairy. And for Pow there was Ducky, the yellow rubber duck. Ducky was Pow's second best friend in the entire world, next to Rouen of course. Even though Ducky was plastic, Pow held deep meaningful conversations with him and they did almost everything water related together. there was also blankets for the pokemon too.
After Rouen had finished unpacking and putting his stuff away and his pokemon had become accustomed to their new homes- Hoot in the tree, Rush in a hollowed out part in the tree trunk and Pow in the bath- it was almost dinner time. To avoid a repeat performance of lunchtime, Rouen decided to hit the canteen early. Rouen left his room at around 6:49pm and reached the canteen at seven, people were just starting to enter. Rouen grabbed a tray and walked over to a huge silver trolley laden with glorious foods. Normally, Rouen didn't have a very big appetite, but with all the wonderful aromas, he couldn't stop himself, he shoveled some rice onto his plate first then he used the ladle to pour delicious looking chicken curry onto his plate. For desert, Rouen grabbed himself a slice of chocolate cake. Next Rouen moved on to a smaller trolley, smaller than the prvious one. It was still a huge tanker full of food, but this time pokefood. Rouen decided to let his pokemon experiment with the academy's food, so he put a small amount of each food onto a segmented bowl. Rouen could only see a table for two, so he decided to abandon his "social mission" and eat alone, beside he thought, he wouldn't be alone if he had his pokemon. He released Rush and Pow, Hoot was already on Rouen's shoulder, he hated his pokeball.
"Everyone! Dig in!" Rouen declared as his pokemon eagerly began gobbling up their pokefood. Rush liked the yellow balls the best, Hoot preferred the brown chunks and Pow liked the green cubes. Rouen jotted all this down into a small notepad for reference.
Rouen finished his dinner in no time as did his pokemon. Wow! that was good thought Rouen as he gave a satisfactory sigh. Rouen returned Rush to his pokeball, but let Pow waddle alongside him as he decided to visit the rec-pool. As Rouen finally reached the pool he could smell the chlorine and hear the playful shouts and screams echoing down the corridor. As he wrenched open the door, the smell and noise doubled. Rouen had journeyed to the rec-pool to see what the facilities were like and also to see if the school had a swimming team. Rouen noticed a lifeguard and decide that he would be the best person to ask. Rouen then noticed that the lifeguard was already in conversation with a tall boy with white hair and a black shirt. Rouen waited patiently for the boy to finish his conversation and proceeded towards the lifeguard.
"Erm...Hi" said Rouen, he had to shout as the lifegurad was in his tower and the pool was noisy.
"Oh, hey bro! What's up?"
"Well, i was just wondering if the school had a swim tea-" The boy who had just been talking to the lifeguard released a Milotic into a small pool. Rouen paused to watch for a second before turning back to the lifegurad.
"That is one gnarly pokemon there dude!" the lifeguard exclaimed, Rouen nodded. "Now what were you sayin' buddy?"
"Oh right, yeah, i was just wondering if the school had a swim team and if there was training and try-outs and stuff?"
"Yeah, we got a swim team, the Argente Marines. But i don't know much about there training bud, check the sports pool."
"The sports pool?" Rouen repeated
"Oh! You're new too, just like that guy!" the life guard nodded his head in the direction of the boy speaking to his Milotic. "The sports pool is on the sports complex, go to your common room and get a map dude! Hey! Maybe you and the other new dude could be buds and help each other find their way around!"
Rouen looked back at the lifeguard as he had turned to walk away "Yeah! Maybe we could!" Rouen smiled and for a brief moment he was lost in his imagination. "Thanks for your help!" said Rouen as he sprinted from the rec-pool to catch up with the white haired boy. But as Rouen looked both ways down the corridor, he realised that the other new kid was nowhere to be seen. "Shoot!" mumbled Rouen. He decide that as he had to return to the commons to get a map, there was no point looking for the sports pool that night. He would get a map and go to bed.
And that's what Rouen did, returned to his dorm, set his alarm clock to 6:30 am; placed it on the chest of drawers next to his bed; washed his face and brushed his teeth; said goodnight to all his pokemon before stripping down to his boxers, putting on a white t-shirt and crawling into bed.
Smash! Rouen awoke with a start, that was the sound of broken glass no doubt about it. He jumped out of bed and glanced at his alarm clock, 2:13 am. Rouen turned on the lamp next to his bed and walked over to his his window, he pulled back the curtains to see his window pane still intact. He then proceeded to check the kitchen window, nothing wrong there. By this time Pow had climbed out of the bath and was standing in the light of the lamp. There was a trail of puddles leading from the bathroom, thank goodness for absorbent carpeting. Pow gave a weary squeak.
"It's nothing Pow, just i thought i heard some glass breaking, that's a-" Rouen then remebered with dread that the tree room had an entire wall made of glass, to help get sunlight to the plant. Rouen threw open the door and glance around the room, Hoot was flying around in a frenzy above the tree. Rouen glanced fearfully at the long stretch of glass that made up the wall, minus three metres to give the room some privacy. No one scratch on the glass, everything was fine.
"Hoot!" hissed Rouen at the scatter-brained owl, "You scared me to death!" Rouen gave a slight laugh as Hoot continued circling the tree top, not noticing Rouen's presence. Ever since he was captured in Illex forest, Hoot's body clock had been seriously messed up- sometimes he was nocturnal, other times he was awake during the day and sometimes he would have no sleep at all. Looked like tonight Hoot was doing an "all-nighter" Rouen checked the hollowed out trunk just to be sure. There he found Rush silently sleeping, all curled up with his flame coloured ball nestled under his chin. Rouen left the room with Pow and closed the door gently.
Rouen carried Pow back to his bath full of water, also called his bed and said goodnight once more. Rouen then returned to his own bed, switched of the lamp and slumped his head into his pillow. Rouen lay awake, listening, he was still shaken by the incident, especially on his first night. But, eventually the young student's eyes went heavy and he drifted off to sleep.
Beep Beep! Beep Beep! Beep Beep! Rouen rolled over and pressed the large grey button on his alarm clock. He was still tired from his late night disturbance, but it was his anticipation to start his new life at Argente Academy that got him out of bed and into the shower. Because Pow obviously couldn't sleep while Rouen was in the shower, it was his job to go and wake his poke pals. After Rouen finished his shower, he brushed his teeth, gelled his hair, put on his clothes, grabbed his bag, grabbed his pokemon and left for breakfast.
The canteen was packed once again with students, some groggy and bleary eyed, others alert and attentive, ready to start the day. Rouen stood in the queue, when he finally reached the food, he stacked his plate with sausages, scrambled egg and pancakes. Then he moved on to get his pokemons' favourite foods from the day before. Rouen once again had to settle for a two seater table.
Rouen was midway through his breakfast when the canteen went silent. Rouen turned around to see the white haired boy from yesterday entering the canteen with his Absol. Cool! Thought Rouen, A milotic and an Absol, that guy must be an awesome trainer!Everyone else in the canteen now returned to their activities and so did Rouen. He quickly cleared his plate and left th canteen. His was early for his lesson, very early. The only problem was, he didn't know where his class was! He pulled out his map and took a brief glance before heading off down a long corridor.

OOC: I guess I should introduce my character already...
Stan, being the uncaring person that he is, woke up VERY late for classes, it's obvious he won't be going to any of them for the day. He rolled out of bed falling to the ground. He got up and rubbed his eyes. Getting up, he limps to his room's bathroom.
He's in there for a very long time. I'd go into details.. but I rather not. Let's just say that he's ready for the day, k?
He comes out with a tower over himself and steam following his trails and a stink that fills his room rather quickly making it smell very bad. Giving a heavy cough because of it he rubs his eyes and widens them showing himself that he is no awake. He dresses up, just throwing on whatever is laying around on the floor. He takes a comb, goes to the mirror and then grins and tosses the comb somewhere on the ground, lost in the mess he calls his floor.
He opens the door and starts walking down the hallway leaving the dorms, he sees hardly any one in the hallways, those that he does see just leave the class to go to a restroom and then head back... how boring. He heads to the cafeteria for some food.
This place had a name right? Eh, Stan forgot it. He doesn't care to be honest. Finally! Some kids! He heads over towards a line of like maybe 3 people. Of course, he cuts it.
"Yo, gimme a bagel with some cream cheese on it." He tells the cafeteria lady. The lady is old and fat, but mostly old. She makes popping sounds in her mouth making Stan and everyone else on the line have a disgusted look.
"C'mon lady! This century would be nice!" Stan yells.
The old lady just looks at him through her old, dirty, greasy glasses. She seems to have enough of the kids at the school. While looking at Stan, not moving away a single eye, she takes a bagel, rips it open with her hands, takes a knife, shoves it in a vat of cream cheese and throws a wad of it on the bagel. She smooshes it together, tosses it on a tray and hands it over to Stan while making these disgusting noises with her mouth.
"What in the world... is the bagel supposed to green?" Stan asked.
The old lady caught some light in her glasses which gleamed over, "Happy Saint Patrick's day"
"But it's not even March!" Stan snapped back.
"... Do I look like I give two Pikachus of what you think? NEXT!"
And with that Stan took his tray, gave a bratty smile towards the old lady and walked off with his food. Finding a table was easy, he just found the closest one with some small kid sitting at it.
"Hey you, you're sitting in my favorite seat!"
"Geh! Ah! Please allow me!" The kid got up scared.
"Yes allow yourself, now get lost!" Stan yelled scary the kid by making him run out of the cafeteria.
Stan sat there, alone, eating his moldy green Bagel when everyone else had the common sense to never ask for.

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Lot's of schoolwork... This post should catch me up with everyone else, and maybe move things along slightly.
The maintenance cart pulled up to the classroom building just as his first class ended. Great. He missed his first class. That, on top of losing his Mitotic, was just too much. “DAMMIT!!” Zyph screamed, and the other students who were walking outside looked at him with disapproving glances. Zyph climbed off the cart and solemnly said thank you to the janitor. The janitor just grunted and drove away. Zyph opened the front door and entered the building. The rest of the students were walking to their next classes. Zyph looked at his schedule; his next class was Survival. Survival? At least this should be interesting, he thought. Absol was still walking behind when Zyph caught up to his fellow classmates. A few of them turned around to see who was coming, and they froze. Standing behind this new kid with white hair was a Pokemon; a Pokemon that they had read in their Mythology class was a causer of natural disasters. Everyone stared at Absol, then at Zyph, but Zyph didn’t notice. He was too distraught by the day’s events so far. Zyph absentmindedly walked into the classroom and sat down, his Absol laid down under his desk. The rest of the students nervously walked in, trying to start the normal conversations again. Zyph just sat there, holding his Milotic’s empty Pokeball, with his head in his hands.

I hope its not too late to (try and) join, this RP sounds fun
Name: James Restavec
Appearance: Unkempt enough to look a bit scruffy. Short muddy blonde hair and warm brown eyes. About 5'9, skinny and not at all muscular. Wears a pair of beat-up old trainers, some frayed jeans, and a big ex-military jacket which he keeps on whenever possible. No piercings or tattoos, but he wears a silver ring on his left index finger, inscribed with the Latin "Plagatus Rex" in fancy script, which he never takes off
Personality: James is a bright pupil, but makes up for this by failing to meet any and all deadlines. He is late for class, never does his homework on time (although is is to a good standard when finally handed in) and only does more than the minimum required work when he feels strongly about the subject. He is not amazingly outgoing, and likes to "know" everyone. He is not involved in any extra-curricular activities, and spends a lot of his free time lazing around doing nothing, either outside or in his dorm. He can be quite guarded when the conversation is about him, and will often try to steer the subject in a different direction. He is easily stressed out, but tries not to get angry. His parents sent him off to the academy in the hope that he will get a good degree, and be more successful than they were. He enjoys listening to Indie music, but there is not a genre which his tastes don't encompass. He only has one major phobia, if you can call it that, he gets terrified if he is walking through a dark room, into a light one, thinking that the light is safe, and he needs to get there fast.
Pokemon: Quagsire, nicknamed "Dub". An exteremly laid back pokemon, he is very like James in that he doesn't like effort and prefers to be lazy. When in battle, he can take large amounts of damage easily, and prefers a defensive strategy. Dub will often imitate his trainer when out of his pokeball, copying James' gestures and body language.
Pokemon: Natu, nicknamed "Cheeba". An enthusiastic and vocal pokemon, Cheeba acts as James' alarm clock, screeching in his ear when he has to get up for class. She does not like pokeballs, and can usually be found in one of James' pockets, or on his shoulder, nattering away in his ear
James is taking Mythology and Psychology, along with the mandatory subjects (which he hates). He has no idea of what career he wishes to follow.
IC: James awoke suddenly to the sound of screeching, and sat bolt upright in his bed
"Natunatunatunatunatunatuuuuu" The little green bird shouted at him at the top of it's voice
"Morning Cheeba. Thank you for the kind and gentle awakening, as always" he grumbled as he threw his clothes on. He checked the clock, he had Mythology in an hour, and nothing first period, that gave him time for breakfast. Beofre he left, he turned into the bathroom and picked up the empty pokeball that was on the sink.
"Come on Dub, your coming too" he said and hovered the ball over the bath. The bath was full, and in it lay a Quagsire, fast asleep, and making bubbles. He quickly returned the pokemon to it's ball, grabbed his coat, and left his dorm. He strolled to the cantine, which was full of people milling about, and got himself a boiled egg and some toast. He sat down at an empty table, and began scooping away at his egg. He gave Cheeba some of the toast to peck at, and used the rest to dip into the yolk. He glanced up as a freshman walked in with his Absol, doing a double take on the guy and his pokemon. Why would he bring an Absol into the cafeteria? Tsk. There was a lot of talking around him about some thefts of pokemon from the swimming pool, but he didnt really care. The boy with the Absol was at the table opposite him, still getting weird looks from other students. He soon remebered why this was happening. Yesterday in Mythology, the teacher told them about how Absol's were believed to be responsible for natural disasters. He smiled politely at the boy as he left. He finished his egg, and began to make his way to his first class, which was going to be a lecture. Thats all we ever seem to do in Mythology, he thought, listen to the teacher rambling and take notes. He enjoyed it, however, as he had always liked myths and legends. He yawned as he strolled down the hall and was almost knocked to the ground by the same kid running to his first class, which was about to end. The bell rang and the boy shouted obscenities and ran off again.
"Bit of an eager beaver, eh Cheeba?" he chuckled to the bird, who was perched on his shoulder. His only reply was some chattering sounds, and an affectionate peck on the ear.
"Mythology lecture HO!" he said and began to power walk towards his "first" class

"Hey James,I like your Natu. Cheeba, is it?He's really cute!
You want to be,you know, friends?
"Here you go Flame." Gives Flame a Pokeblock. "Quil! Quilava!"

"Thats very kind of you." Thoughts clunk into place inside his mind; girl talking to you. Thinks Cheeba's cute. Wants to be friends... his teenage mind was racing towards the only possible conclusion it could make from this when
"Natunatunatunat" Cheeba fluttered off his soulder and on to the desk, and hopped towards the girl, looking hopeful.
"I'm no expert, but I think she wants one of your pokeblocks" he looked knowingly at the little green bird who fluttered her wings and jumped up and down, begging for food
"You just had breakfast, and I gave you some of my toast, don't be greedy" he was about to pull Cheeba away when there was a sudden flash of light from his pocket as Dub decided to let himself out. This caused James to topple off his seat and collapse to the floor awkwardly.
"Quaaaaaaaaag" Dub yawned and turned to his trainer, lying in a heap on the floor. James jumped to his feet, sat down, and began rifling through his bag for his school things. Dub copied him, leaning over and waving his hands around in a similar fashion. James triumphantly placed a notebook, pencil and pen on the desk
"There we go" he sighed
"Quagsire quag" Dub mimicked his voice. James looked calm, but he was kicking himself in his mind;
-Great first impression genius, you sure can smooth talk the ladies-

While trying not to luagh, Suki says"Anyway, I'm sure Cheeba wouldn't mind a little treat. Besides, there's enough pokeblock to share. This is a special kind of pokeblock that my cousin's Natu loves. Here you go Cheeba." Gives cheeba a Pokeblock. "Enjoy! I think she likes it! So, what's your cute little Quagsire's name? Dub? Cute! Love the name."Flame is looking suspiciusly at Dub and Cheeba. "Quil, Quil, Quilava?" Flame tilts his head to the right. "Those are your new friends Flame! Say hello." Flame Straitened up himself and said... "Quila Quilava!" Suki giggles. "I'm sure we'll all become great friends!"
