Ok, maybe I've been silent about my ROM-hacking lately, but "More Hoenn Legends" is my current Sapphire Hack.
Storyline
The Hoenn Region is known for it's tough terrain, but scaling them was easy. But what's been made of the territory for a while? New lands and new Pokémon have been part of the game, but there's more than what it seems to be...

Featured in this hack
- New paths and routes, but still keeping the consistency in the Pokémon game. The terrain has been modified to be slight harder, and trainers are in different places.
- Wild Pokémon changes, including some Johto and Kanto Pokémon.
- Still keeps the same text as Ruby and Sapphire (my hack doesn't quite need text changes).
- I don't plan on changing Pokémon or characters, either.
- Starter Pokémon changes: Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil and Mudkip - all others catchable in other areas.
- Music changes.

The beta is unrestricted, so you can finish the entire game. The below competition fills you in on this, but if you get into problems after finishing Rustboro, you'll have to help yourself.

Competition
Find 10 special Pokémon in Routes 101, 102, 103, and 104. There are more than one, and you are to prove it using screenshots. You won't be able to finish this competition quick enough - you'll have to have played through some of the game and get SURF to see what I mean...

Hint: The Houndour in the screenshot is one of the hidden Pokémon, but you need to get your own.

Good luck! Winners are eligible to have a name in the game. (Your name could be one of the selectable names at the start!)

So there are no changed Gyms or whatnot? Just a few different Pokemon and different route layouts?

Still, could be fun. Sometimes the best things are the simplest ones! I'll give this hack a try!

not bad there satoshi-kun, its a bit weird at new bark though, when ya leave the houses there's a bunch of big bits of snow that fall for a second then disappear....Anyway you've done some good work keep it up (GO BULBASAUR!! :D)

I still think you're against Bulbasaur fans putting Houndour with Ember on the first route :P

Leo - It's basically a display, the waterfall. Although I intend on keeping it, as for the fact it is a mountain (with water).

Yes, the special Pokémon are Pokémon not found in those routes, and I actually mean Johto/Kanto Pokémon.

Good game so far, Satoshi. True to the feel of the originals, with just enough new stuff throw in to make it feel like a brand new game. ^_^

I use various utilities, but then again mostly use Hex.

Hex will be used to change these guys names, but I use AdvanceMap for Map Editing (and that's not my only one). And other utilities which I won't disclose.
