Log Out??

Do you actually use the Log Out button? Or do you just close down the web browser when leaving PC?

I close the window when using PC, and never log off. I only log off when I'm online whilst using different computers, i.e. ones at school. :\

Sometimes, when I'm doing anything else other than PC, and when only a dozen people are online. But I usually just close the browser, and it does the logging off for me.

I don't even look at the logout button roughly 85% of the time, since those are times when I'm accessing the forums on my own computer - and since I'm the only person who uses that computer, I have no problems with leaving myself logged in. I'd say I just close the browser, but that doesn't even really happen...I just tend to let myself idle out.

Although when I'm in class, I definitely use the logout button when I'm done. While I'm not too worried about someone getting into my account or anything, I'd still rather not risk it.

I never ever log out these days. The only place I access PC is with my own computer. Since no one else touches it, I don't see a need to log out at all. The only time I'm logged out anymore is if I clear my cookies for some reason.

As for when I leave the computer, I either close the window or I just leave it there in one of my tabs. It all depends on my mood and such.

I never log out, unless need calls for it, like clearing cookies. Other times, I'm logged in all the time. My laptop is my own, and no one else goes on it (or can reach it. Messy room!), so I have no need to worry.

That, and I'm too lazy to log back in all the time.

I really don't see the point of hitting the Log Out button because it logs out as soon as I leave PC. Or minutes after.

xD, I dont use the button at all, but what I've found is that it says I'm still online for another period of time which screws up my subscriptions. Btw, does anyone know how long it takes to be seen as offline if you just close the browser?

I only ever use the Log out button if I've signed in on a different computer that isn't mine (Like at school for example XD). I don't think I've ever used the log out button when I've visited PC from my laptop.

When I didn't have my own computer I used to log out all the time, just in case my parents happened to click one of my bookmarks. Now that I've got my laptop I rarely do, and, if I want to check PC while being a guest, I'll use IE. I sometimes used to check PC at school, and I'd always log out afterwards.

When I'm on my home computer (which is the one I'm using right now), I don't log out. However, if I'm on another computer, I do.

i just press the sleep button on the computer
i have it set up to ask for windows password on wakeup so i dont have to sign out of anything unless i am using a school coputer then i log out when i am done so the next person doesnt get a hold of my acct and spam and get me warned or worse banned *shivers*

I did back when i accessing from rental, but now i directly close the browser or sometime even directly shutdown ^^ The last time i log out might be more than 6 months

The only time I've ever used it was tonight, to close down the account I used to have.

As far as any forum goes, I seem to remember my password easily and usually just stay logged in until my session expires or the computer shuts down.
