At first, I was avoiding this part of the forum because I wanted to see how I would do on my own. But I see there are many experts on the games here, and there have been some great advice given on this section of the forum. This is a team set that I plan on using over Wifi when Diamond and Pearl come out (This team I am currently training and have in Fire Red and plan to trade to Diamond), so suggestions, criticisms, and comments would be great. Also, I will list some pokemon I have in my PC and a lot of TMs I have (I have all the HMs).

Current Line-up:

Fly (While HMs are not recommended for pokemon to use, I use fly for Charizard for two reasons. One reason is I do fly a lot and using fly helps against a pokemon that is super effective against Charizard).

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f5/Alakazam.png
Name: Alakazam: Serious Nature (I know Alakzam needs a lot of work, I just started training him).

First off i HATE your name.

But with that nastiness behind us i can offer you some advice on the 4th Gen switch. I'm listing them as 3rd Gen sets w/ <4th = *Move> ~ This is the move to change it to when you get to the 4th Gen.

I guessing since you have this Machamp right now he has 'Guts' as an ability. So id give him this moveset...

Machamp w/ Leftovers
'Guts' : Raises Att x1.5 when inflicted with status effect.
<Adament : +Att / -Sat>
* Cross Chop
* Rock Slide ~ <4th = *Stone Edge>
* Sleep Talk
* Rest

This makes him a ReStalker and that activates 'Guts' meaning while you sleep you pound things. This guy is a world wrecker. (Fight) + (Rock) gives you good coverage.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gyarados w/Leftovers
'Intimidate' : Lowers opponent's Att 1 stage.
<Adament : +Att / -Sat>
* Dragon Dance
* Earthquake
* Surf / *Ice Beam ~ <4th = *Ice Fang>
* Taunt
He really needs *HP(Rock) in 3rd Gen but i never suggest those InGame because they are really hard to get. Once you get to 4th Gen life gets a lot easier when he gets *Ice Fang to deal with those (Flying) types.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charizard is not going to be good in the 4th Gen because of *Stealth Rocks. I'd suggest replacing him with Electivire because he goes so well with Gyarados. You'll have to wait till 4th Gen to breed one though because you need to pass on *Cross Chop + *Ice Punch from Medicham.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alakazam w/Choice Specs
'Syncronize' : Passes on status effects to opponent.
<Timid : +Spd / -Att>
* Psychic
* Fire Punch ~ <4th = *Shadow Ball>
* Thunder Punch ~ <4th = *Focus Blast>
* Trick
*Trick totally ruin Blissey stopping her from being able to Heal herself. You can give him *Shadow Ball now but it won't do much damage being Physical for now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Arcanine w/ChoiceBand
'Intimidate' : Lowers opponent's Att 1 stage.
<Adamant : +Att / -Sat>
* Flare Drive
* Thunder Fang
* Extremespeed
* Will-O-Wisp

I'm listing him as a 4th Gen poke only because his movepool is garbage in 3rd Gen. Just wait until you get to 4th for him. *HP(Fight) would be a good replacement for *Will-O-Wisp if you could get it but that will be tough.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nidoking w/ChoiceBand
'Rivalry' : Raises Att 1 stage if opponent is same gender.
<Adament : +Att / -Sat>
* Earthquake
* Rock Slide ~ <4th = *Stone Edge>
* Megahorn
* Ice Beam ~ <4th = * Avalanche>
You could also consider using <Jolly : +Spd / -Sat> as a nature.
<EDIT> Shoot i forgot this was right now so Nidoking would have to have 'Poison Point' as an ability which is a shame seeing as how cool 'Rivalry' is. I'd try to hold off on him until the 4th Gen because 'Rivalry' is worth the wait. In my opinion.
i dunno about your instistence of Charizard VS Stealth Rock. no one would switch Charizard in if stealth rock was layed down ANYWAY... well, except for those who haven't been informed on SR's inclusion of type damage. also, i'm not sure how online simulators are going to work out, but i doubt Stealth Rock will gain as much popularity in-game.
That's a good point. I just give InGame rates assuming that they will eventually be used via WiFi.
But InGame as in Pre~Elite 4 i guess you are right.
As for Charizard goes - maybe you are right but it's not just *Stealth Rock. *Stone Edge will be available via TM meaning it's another common attack where *Rock Slide was less common.
If you are planning on using Charizard than a *Rapid Spinner is essential. Claydol / Donphan are my current picks to use.
I really like Claydol resisting (Fight) / (Ground) / (Rock) - and he can provide support via Screening. He can even Explode when he's done. Very Crafty.
Thank you guys very much for the suggestions, though since Charizard is my favorite pokemon I will keep him in my lineup, but I will take your suggestion and try and find Rapid Spin.
I always paired my Bellyzard <*Belly Drum ~ Charizard> with Sub/Wish Pass Vaporeon in FireRed.
Passing out +100 HP *Substitutes can really help Charizard get into battle to get off *Belly Drum without taking a beating.
+ *Wish support is always welcome.
I would definitely concentrate on getting a *Rapid Spinner though if Charizard is your favorite poke.
