Can I Beat The E4 No Pots With This?

ok currently this is who i have for my party and i was wondering if i could beat the e4 with no pots. Heres my line up.

so far the best i've done (where i am right now) is i've just beaten agatha and 2 of pokemon are fainted (venasaur and moltres) zapdos is at 18 health and all the rest are full can i beat it or can i retry and beat it?

There is no way you can beat it without pots with that team, wayy too unbalanced. Plus, 2 guys under level 30, and another 2 guys low 50's? Not happening.

You move sets suck horribly. Try posting this in the teams thread(it's at the top of the thread list) and someone should come along with good moves and whatnot. Don't use HM moves on pokemon unless it's surf though. Fly, cut, and flash are worthless.

You really don't need an "ultimate team" of level 60s. Mid to high 50's should do. You should train Raichu more (even thought you evolved it too early), it can take down many Pokemon. Dratini? VSeek away and train until Dragonair/Dragonite. They are powerful monsters anywhere. Everything else is good, though may want to train Articuno a few levels. Get rid of the crappy HM moves with the Move Deleter since you've reached the Indigo Plateu and can just fly there now, and you'll beat the Weak 5 in no time.

- Razor Leaf / Synthesis

I don't know about you, but I think you require a lot of help to balance your team.

also, if you want to easily beat lance, just get a pokemon with a decent special and some ice moves. Zapdos can take out his gyrados no problem and an ice beam from a level 50 pokemon will either one hit KO or do a LOT of damage to all his dragon types.

There is no such move as Razorblade, but why would you even think about coming to the E4 with low level Pokemon unless if your rasing them.

I though that you can get Moltres after the E4 because something won't let you go through, I'm not sure

I lol at the bolded parts. First of all, Dragonite wants:

Focus Punch
Thunder/Thunderbolt

Substitute

That or, a DDer, but the Subpuncher is more effective, at least in-game.

Also, why use a neutral nature on a Dragonite with only special moves? Modest is the nature you want if you just have to go with a sucky, all-out special sweeping Draggy.

Second, Venusaur does not suck. Hitsugaya Toushiro provided already provided a working moveset for Venusaur, (well, apart from the EVs. It's screaming for some Attack EVs.) and it owns everything you'll encounter in-game. Well, pretty much any Pokémon with a good moveset owns everything in-game, but that's beside the point, but it brings me to my next point: Raichu. Raichu is not completely worthless, (especially not in-game) but it serves the same job as Dragonite (Subpunching with an Electric attack added to the mix.) so it's quite redundant on the team and should be removed. (unless Ivan017 wants to remove Dragonite instead)

Anyway, Articuno and Moltres suck hard without their XD moves, so ditch them and get some good physical masher like Snorlax or Rhydon, and maybe a special sweeper like Starmie, Kadabra (it requires breeding for the elemental punches, though.) or Exeggutor. As for Zapdos, give it:

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Whatever-your-Zappy's-nature-is (any nature works in-game and you can't change your Zapdos's nature anyway.)

And there's no way you'll get through the e4 with half the members being weak to Rock. (Bruno's Onix's Rock Slide and Lance's Aerodactyl's Ancientpower, (a pathetic move, but still) anyone?) As I already said, Snorlax or Rhydon will already do wonders to your team so I highly suggest you train one of them.

No, bad team, bad movesets. I've already said this once, but I'll say it again: Articuno and Zapdos suck without their XD moves due to their extremely limited movepools. 'Sides, they make the team scream out: ''Hey, Rock types! Come and rape me khtxbye!''

train your whole team HEAPS!! Venasaur = lvl 65-75
Dratini = lvl 70+ (evo to Dragonyt)
Articuno = lvl 60+

that was my team, any moves should be fine if just for E4, but try to vary the move types as much as you can, and try not to teach any HM moves..
