I am thinking up a moveset for my charizard that I will import (as a charmander) for D/P and kind of debating what kind of charizard I want. A phyical or specail charizard. At the moment I am drawing up blanks though while some have suggested some but I want to see what you guys had to suggest. Here is one that I thought of:

Subsitute
Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Flamethower

Set up the sub. Set up Sunny Day. Sub takes hits while setting up Sunny Day. Take advantage of Sunny Day by using Solar or Flamethower. Simple?

Still I feel the set doesn't does justice to the charizard since he learns so many more moves that can make him better. This one takes advantage of his speacail attack but fails in the idea that there is too much set up and the chance that the sub may be gone in one turn leaving him defenseless. What do you guys think? Is this moveset ok or are there better ones for charizard?

Mixed Charizard is probably the best if you want it to be viable in OU:

Charizard @Choice Specs/Life Orb
Hasty Nature
-Flamethrower/Fire Blast
-Dragon Pulse
-Focus Punch
-Hidden Power [Grass]

Fire + Dragon cover every type except for Heatran, which is where Focus Punch comes in. FP also takes care of Blissey. HP Grass for Swampert.
